Posted: 18 May 2016 04:36 PM PDT The girl I want to make my maid of honor is not married but has a child. My question is, when I ask her to my my honored maid, do I ask her to be my matron or maid of honor? Also, most of my bridesmaids have boyfriends, does that mean I have to make them part of my fiancee's groomsmen? I am hoping that is a no because he doesn't know them, but when it comes to etiquette, do I absolutely need that guy to exit down the aisle with her? -Thank you. |

Question: Guys, how far in advance of getting married would you propose? Posted: 18 May 2016 02:20 PM PDT How far in advance of getting married would you propose? For example, if you want to get married in a year and a half, when do you propose? What about two years? What if it is dependent upon job/money? Would you not propose until you knew you had a great job and enough money? Even if you are planning to be ready financially in a year or two, would you still wait to propose? Thanks! |

Posted: 18 May 2016 11:53 AM PDT My fiancé and I been together 5 years. We got engaged last summer and our wedding is 2 months away. Before we got engaged he said he didn't want to get married because marriage means nothing to him. I was trying so hard to get him to propose, but he always said he couldn't justify paying $10,000 for an engagement ring. So I offered to buy my own ring which I did then he finally agreed to marry me. I love him very much He does a lot for me. he takes care of me and does everything around the house I don't have to do anything which I love. Saturday we were at a family gathering at his parent's house. I was in the kitchen sitting by an open window, he was in the backyard talking to his uncle so I could hear everything. His uncle asked if he is Happy and my fiancé replied "as long as she's happy I don't care. What am I supposed to do anyway? I can't break up with her after 5 years. The poor girl has been waiting for a ring for 5 years!" I was so angry I left the party. when he called to find out where I was I screamed at him and told him I Heard what he said. He tried to cover it up but I was so mad I hung up on him. I haven't spoken to him since. |

Question: My fiance told my godfather to back off. Was he right? Posted: 18 May 2016 10:06 AM PDT We have been together for 11 years. My godfather has always been protective of me since my medical condition. I was going to move down to live with him but I met my bf and didn't want to leave. He was part of the reason I stayed because he listened to my fears of not being ready for a real college that far away plus my dad was ill. For 11 years he took alot of crap from my family but now we are getting married and his sick of it. My godfather, who's far away, said he's going to come around and check up on things, challenging him as a man and my fiance told him to back off. It's been 11 years and we don't need you snoping around like a dark cloud. Other things were said but my fiance wasn't backing down. I was upset with my fiance about not letting it go but he is fed up. Was my fiance right to tell him off? |

Question: Bachelorette party for someone who hates clubs? Where to go at the end of the evening? Posted: 18 May 2016 04:01 AM PDT I plan some physical activity for the beginning of the festivities (ropes course maybe) but after this where to take a bachelorette who hates clubs where it's not too boring for the rest of the group? I feel that a pizza place might be anticlimactic and people will be like " so is that it?". This activity should also not be group-reliant because people leave at different times. Help:) |
