Question: Trouble with my maid of honour speech !? Posted: 25 May 2016 10:03 PM PDT My sisters wedding is in a few days and I have to give a maid of honour speech. I wrote it already but the problem is that I have 2 other sisters as well. In my speech I talk about how great the one getting married is. I feel like I'm leaving the other two sisters out. I know is not their wedding but I feel like I should still incorporate them in some way? And if so, how? |

Question: What part of my wedding could my 16 year old be? Posted: 25 May 2016 06:18 PM PDT My son is 16 and will be 17 at the wedding. I have been a single father all his life so we are very close. I want to give him a very special part in my wedding but I'm not sure what. Any suggestions? |
Question: Should I kick my bridesmaid out of my wedding? Posted: 25 May 2016 05:22 PM PDT My bridesmaid called me an unsupportive friend b/c she's having an affair and I said how I felt after it's been going in for 9 months. I think she needs to leave her husband or end it. Should I still have her in my wedding? She hasn't spoken to me or replied to my text in nearly a month. i even asked her if she was not talking to me and she never replied. That was May 7th. |
Question: Having a small wedding! Tips, and ideas? Posted: 25 May 2016 02:22 PM PDT We want to get married in September or very early October of 2017. My mom is pretty sick so we think it's best we have a small wedding. We do want to get married in church, and we are thinking some kind of hotel for the reception. Especially since we will have out of town guest. The thing is I'm so lost night now. I'm having a hard time finding a hall at a hotel unless it's over the top fancy. 70-90 a plate. I would prefer to keep it a little more simple, and fun. We would also like a bar. |
Posted: 25 May 2016 12:35 PM PDT We're planning our wedding guest list. My finace and myself are both more then happy to allow single adults to have a +1. Thing is, fiance's favorite aunt has recently knowingly been serving as the mistress to a married man. She likely will take him as her +1. Neither of us support the fact that she's knowingly with a married man and we don't want him there. We've already talked to aunt about what she's doing (she actually called us and asked if we think what she's doing is wrong). She knows we don't support it, but she's a space cadet and any attention seems to be good attention to her, even without our support. Is there a kind way of saying we will not allow her to bring him as her +1 or would being blunt be best, even though she doesn't seem to get that? For those that asked if the man is still with his wife: YES. The man and fiance's aunt live many hours away in a very small community. The man is there for work and travels many hours every few weeks to be at home with his wife and daughter who live just two towns over from us. |
Question: What to do about dads upcoming wedding? Posted: 25 May 2016 11:54 AM PDT My dad is getting married in July. Both want me there, but they want me to be normal. And I can't be normal. From the ages of 11-13, I had a very rough time and went through some traumatic things that changed me. I started suffering from very severe anxiety and started having panic attacks and I ended up in therapy and on meds. I'm a WIP. It's taken me a long time to be able to go for a walk without having a full blown panic attack. I couldn't go to my future stepbrothers wedding (I was 14) or my aunts wedding (14, too, but she was really understanding and took photos with me at home) or my future stepsisters wedding last year. My issues have caused a lot of tension between me and my dad. He hates that he had to have his kids go to school online, that I have to see a therapist and a psychiatrist and how people know when they look at me that I have issues. My doctor has said I've made some amazing progress considering I couldn't even go for a walk on my own and now I go for a daily walk and hang out with friends outside sometimes. Long story short, I don't know what to do. I'm 17 and still living at home with them and nobody here is understanding. I'm at the point where I almost want to say I'll go to stop the pressure. But I know something will happen and I know it will make them angry. I deal with it enough every day, I'm not sure I could handle the fallout. |

Question: Where can i outsource a bangmaid? Posted: 25 May 2016 07:18 AM PDT After asking several questions here; the solution to my needs seems to be a "bangmaid". Basically a live in maid with salary plus the freedom to sleep with whenever i want. I do like Latinas, Indian and Black women. So where can i outsource a bangmaid ? Can pay for ticket etc |
Question: What to wear to a wedding as a guest.? Posted: 25 May 2016 07:02 AM PDT I've got an up and coming wedding to attend. I know that wearing white is a no no unless the bride says she wants guests to dress up in white. But the dress I was thinking of wearing is black on top, and on the bottom is black and white striped. Is that ok? Or is it too much white? |
