I'm 17 and a friend and i sang at a local coffee shop last night that just opened a couple weeks ago, so we rehearsed a few times before the let people in and by the time we went on we were ready, so we finished the song and all our friends that were there said we were grate together, but we didn't even get announced or half as much applause as this blond, blue eyed perfect face pretty boy bimdo who was out of tune and slued his words so you could hardly tell what he was saying. My friend and i have both had voice lessons for about 3 years and have been in many plays a musicals, so we know what were doing. Why do we adults like to do things to shock children so much? What is it about their impressionability that makes it fun to shock them? It's kind of thrilling in a way. I'll admit that I get a big grin from going to children's websites like neopets or something and going onto the forum where children visit and posting shocking things like a "crush video" or a "kill video." I'll disguise it as something children-related and link will actually be something from a site like BestGore like a picture of someone dismembered in a car crash or something equally gruesome. Or like one of the beheading videos from the taliban. Why do we as people enjoy doing these things? Why do we love to prank people? What makes it so thrilling?

So my sister in law and I both got jobs at the same time, the same day but she works in retail at the mall and I work at a fast food place. She got her first pay this Monday that passed and I got paid yesterday. I asked her what she was going to do with her first pay. She told me she was going to buy some clothes that hers didn't fit her and get her nails done. I told her I wasn't going to spend it on stupid **** like lipstick and shoes and clothes just on things I need like go do laundry and buy my kid his diapers. She asked me, "are you saying that because I like to look good? Because if you are, it's my money and I spend it however I like. By the way, it's only a few dollars not thousands!" So she hung up on me and blocked my number. She works 4 hours everyday and only got paid about 150. I work 6 1/2 hours four days a week because of babysitter problems and I get paid more. She gets paid 7.25 and I get paid 9.00. I'm still young.. I'm 19 and she's 25.. She said she got a job because the family was calling her lazy for being at SAHM.. What a dumb excuse! I got a job because I wanted to, not because I don't want to take care of my kid. My SIL takes care of my kid but she tells me she can't do it everyday because she has to work. Fours hours a day is no work for me and a mall job for a 25 year old? Her husband earns enough money for the four of them. I checked her checking account and her husband gave her $2000 just so the bank won't charge her for having less than $500?!!

So, I'm dating this person with an anxiety disorder (2months) and I have panic disorder. Meanwhile these past 2 months we've been in this relationship I've done everything I can do to try and understand their anxiety, I'm patient, I help them through them all the time (even when I'm taking a nap or sleeping and they call I pick up pretty much all of the time.) But when Im having anxiety problems or panic attacks I feel like I can't count on her. Either they just go to sleep, doesn't answer or blames me having a panic attack for their anxiety attack. It really feels like a one way relationship and everyone keeps trying to tell me to break up with them but I don't know, should I really end it?

I'm left-handed but i'm bad at drawings and arts, but i never had learning difficulties like reading but completely suck and very slow at math. I very high empathy but I very impulsive I tried like 1000000 times to not impulsive but I can't, people don't understand me and blame me from being impulsive, but i just can't. i had major behavioral problems while i was a kid and bad at school i often bullied but i also often break the rules all the time. I can work very hard like a robot and i can cope with extreme stress and tiredness for money but i can't cope with such a simple humiliations and I can't fit with socialization but still i have extreme self-confidence and never for suicide. My daughter has gained about 20 pounds in the last 4 months. She participates in no sports at all. Her siblings are all VERY active and play football, basketball, track, baseball, you name it they do it! My daughter replaces spots by basically eating everything she comes across. When she stopped at Burger King yesterday, she kept asking for TWO whoppers. She got so annoying that I gave in. She weighs 145 bout and she's only 13. Her brothers and sisters pick on her about her weight and I don't say anything because, well...it's true...she IS an overweight pig. I try to take her to the gym and after using the treadmill for about 5 minutes, shes all tired and whines like a baby. Im ashamed to have a fat daughter, because the rest of us are all very healthy. It's kinda sick when she swims in the pool with all that fat. I kind of feel bad for her, but then again, it's her fault that she's a fat teen. Anyone know of any weigh she can lose weight? Maybe a summer camp were kids go for weight lose? Ugh, I wish there was a show like Biggest Loser for kids, because there are more fat children in the U.S. than fat adults. Im just upset to say that my daughter is one of these children. Any help?

So my mom and I moved across the country about 6yrs ago to live with her "fiance" (they never got married) but we still live with him. It is hard on me because he is very rude and starts fights a lot. My mom and I decided to move to an apartment until we can move back to our home state. Although my mom has been known to say things and not do it, I feel she will move cause she put a $450 deposit on the apartment. Sometimes when we fight she says she will go get her money back and its better to stay put cause her "fiance" pays mainly all the bills. It is May and we should be moving in early august if we do. Thing is, she or I do not have a car. I will be going to visit my home state for the summer and there is a car I have been looking at. Its less than $5000 and i dont really want a car THAT bad for myself but thinking what will we do when i get back and we have less than 2 weeks til move in and no car? mom has no money to help buy a car but says to me "dont buy me ANYTHING" buy it for yourself i wont drive it. Then other times shes like "when i get my settlement check ill pay u back and ill pay for insurance and help with gas" . The car is decent but i would really like to spend no more than $4000 but it is a good deal on this car and has all the stuff i would like. Someone help is it normal for a teen to buy her parent a car (even though it would really be mine) she would use it as much as me... Any other advice welcomed too.

My boyfriend and I are going to EDC Las Vegas next month. We've been planning this trip for almost a year but he hasn't saved any money. I paid for his ticket and loaned him money for the airfare because he didn't have enough at the time we booked it. His grandma sent him a check for $500 for the trip, but he already spent it all. He is in school and had a part time job but quit recently. He is basically broke and is relying on his dad to give him money for the trip. I really appreciate everything my boyfriend's dad does for us but I don't want my boyfriend to always rely on him for money. For the past couple months I have been trying to be stricter with him and limit the amount of money he spends, but he still hasn't saved. I'm tired of fighting about money and I feel like I'm not getting through to him. Because there was this creepy substitute for my health class and my peer counseling class.Instead of minding his business he s always staring at me and when I m hanging out with my friend s in gym or something.he ll come over and sit somewhere near us to listen to our conversations.Even sometimes follow us around for no apparent reason.This guy was a very suspicious substitute and gave off a creepy vibe.So we all ran out of the gym and walked around because we really didn t want to be near that substitute.He wasn t giving us our private time.Plus he was very fidgety too. I was scolded once by my family b/c I introduced him as "my former BIL", which is totally correct, to my then-new BF (now ex).
