She says to me I am thinking about moving to your city and starting a different major(She wants to go from RN to a different medical program). About two weeks after that we were talking. I was asking her some basic questions about her final. And then she sends me this overlong venting paragraph about every single one of her problems, how stressed she is, how she doesn't think she will pass her exam, her daily routine and her health problems. It must have been 500 words. I was texting her about a week ago. And I say I will text you later after you are done with your final. Then she says I want you to call me. So I called her Monday and we talked for 20 minutes. I told her I was doing laundry and she says I wish you were there to do it for me. Then she tells me that she didn't pass her exam. She isn't sure if she wants to do it anymore, but she really doesn't want to. She is afraid to fail later in her 3rd or 4th semester. Basically the only reason she is doing it is to pay for her other medical program and she just wants to finish it. |

It wasn't about 3 months ago when I noticed his behavior started changing. I had no idea it was depression at first. He would become a little distant but it was tolerable. I mentioned it to him and he promised he would do better. That's when things started to get rocky and we would fight a lot. I decided to break up with him. A few weeks have gone by and I stared to regret my decsion and told myself I was overreacting. Once we got back together, I noticed a major change. He'd send me a couple texts a day or even one, wouldn't call me unless I reached out. This went on for about 3 weeks, then I got annoyed. I felt like he was being inconsiderate. I confronted him about it and he told he was going through something but didn't know what. He's isolated himself from me and his friends. He told me it was best for him to work on himself and I shouldn't waste my time waiting around. I felt guilty because I know how difficult depression is. The way he was talking to me didn't sound like him, he told me I can do better, and he felt disappointment with his life. We both love each other dearly & I don't want to give up on him. I want to give him space but not to the point where he feels alone. How often should I check on him? Or do I grant his wishes and let him figure it out himself and wait for him to contact me? I understand that I was really shy and closed off in the past. But now I am more confident and can talk to anyone openly. The guys I normally see at church, class etc. I smile, talk to them, joke around with them, but yet none of them have ever asked to hang out. I don't know why but they always seem to think I'm always busy or I always have something better to do. Just for one of them to visit me in my apartment it took almost a year (and we live in the same apartment complex). And when I asked them if they wanted to hang out after church (since I was going to be bored) he said he'll ask the rest ans lmk. But never replied so I'm just going to forget that. And then when I walk into a room where they are they all stare and "check me out" not bragging. I'm not looking for a partner among them but I was just trying to be friendly. Am I being friendly with too many guys that they can't tell the difference between me liking them? I feel like I can't win lol. I realize when you date someone who has kids the kids come first. However I don't feel good about myself in this relationship. I also feel when IM alone with him he's very distant and not that into me. Im the one always making the decisions on what to do and making most of the effort. I plan on driving my motorcycle up north; however, Ted has issues let's just say. A little life history: I am an avid motorcyclist, I own a really nice road bike, and have been driving for several years now. Problem is Ted never liked me riding and thinks I am incapable. Before he never expressed his discomfort, but now with my plan to drive north Ted finally went off the rails. You see Ted owns a road bike too and prefers if I'm on back as a passenger for the trip. We never ride together and once I tried riding on back and hated it. I feel more comfortable being in control of my own machine. Sadly Ted won't have any of it. Either I ride as a passenger, or he isn't going. Moreover. . . I've been suspecting it's an image thing. He doesn't want to be seen riding alongside a woman. You see Ted has been trying to "ween" me off riding with attempts at getting me on back and giving up riding entirely. Seriously! WTF is his problem with female riders? Or should I just hop on back and be his obedient biker babe? Time to break up? |

I was only unhappy because I knew he had been. We have always been there for each other and we are best friends, and we love each other so much. But we had been having a lot of problems, as we have both been under a lot of pressure recently. Since we have broken up, he suddenly wants nothing to do with me. After all of this time of caring and loving each other, he told me he hasn't wanted to speak to me at all in the few weeks we have been apart and apparently he already likes another girl. He tells our friends he just wants to move on, although he feels badly for what he did. I know him, and I cannot help but feel like he is going to regret this decision. I just recently cut off all contact with him, and I just want him to start realizing how much he misses me and how much of a jerk he has been. Is this realistic? Why is he doing this? And will he come back? I can't move on, no matter how hard I try. |

But recently, she always asks me for help even when I refuse half the time, she always bites her lip when I talk to her, she always smiles when I talk to her, she gets shy when I talk to her, she stares at me nonstop (friend does that too) She starts conversations, but mostly after she sees I am talking with another girl, she always says hi and bye, she can't stop smiling/laughing whenever I speak. Whenever I get close to her, she looks very nervous, sometimes bites her lip, and looks like she wants to tackle me very badly, and then after that seems embarrassed and walks away like she did something wrong. Whenever I tease her about something, she always sneers back than goes back to smiling and begins to flirt even more and sometimes teases back, and recently, she followed me on social media for no reason. She also seems to just smile and nod sometimes when I talk to her with her head tilted down. She just listens sometimes when I speak and can not stop smiling. |
| Question: What to do with my girlfriend? Posted: 25 May 2016 06:38 PM PDT Me and this girl recently started dating. We had infatuation. But it seems like it's gone now. We haven't had sex yet. I just don't know how this works. (I'm a guy. Also deaf. She's not deaf. Not that it's important. Just maybe relevant to this question). we went to the beach and just sat in silence. She doesn't seem to want to cuddle (to be fair it's hot outside.). So the tense is little awkward. We kissed few times when saying good bye tonight. But I feel like I should do better than this. I just bought her a chest with a beautiful lighthouse pic on the lid and a picture on a thin piece of log to hang up. I still feel like we are at the "we are dating but we are too awkward to do anything" phase. I'm 21 she's 18. Any dates ideas? Conversations ideas? Etc. please help. |
| Question: Is this sexual harassment? Posted: 25 May 2016 06:38 PM PDT So there's this guy (he's my best guy friend) and he sits next to me in one of my classes. Whenever I wear shorts (which has been this whole week bc it's warmer) he's always grabbing my thigh, and one time he even slapped my thigh. I always tell him to stop, and I always have this reflex that hits him (not hard and I'm not flirting). But then when I don't talk to him and just ignore him, he'll say "Why you so mad?". I'm not interested in him, but whenever he does that I always get this shock in my private area. Not sure of this is sexual harassment, but I don't think so since he's not touching my privates and isn't close to them. HELP |

I was so in love I ate like one thing a day and I got anxiety with him (I've never had anxiety before.) I used to get sad and cry when he would get with a girl because I loved him. Now, I don't care that he likes another girl. I'm also able to say "I don't like him anymore." Which I used to not be able to do. Yet, I still think about him and my heart beats fast when I see him in the halls. I still get happy when he texts me. Why is this? And do I still like him? 😩❤️ |

They used to be good family friends, but since we moved to another town like 20 minutes away we only see each other like every few years for like grad parties and stuff.
