She stood really close to me as i was talking to my other coworker. I seen her staring at me from the corner of my eye and as soon as she could she told me i have really long eyelashes. I took her to my school's homecoming in the Fall of 2015, and she kind of avoided me but we talked some. I then took her to a rodeo last Halloween and we really connected. Then she dated two different guys. After the last relationship ended about 2 months ago, I got serious about pursuing her. We text constantly most days, some days she literally won't respond. Some days she is borderline all over me at school, other days she practically avoids me. She let me give her a ride home from school last Friday and then wouldn't even respond to my messages later that night. However, today at school she told me she's interested in me, and AGAIN no responses. Should I give up the pursuit or keep trying? Why do you think she is behaving this way? Went for three dates in total with a fourth one just about to come. The first time I thought that, when he talked about work it is because there was nothing else to talk about. We switched from books to movies but the conversation always came back to his work and my research and how excited he is about his papers etc. Second date went the same way. The guy never developed on any topic such as art (we went to a museum), books because he does not have much general knowledge, so he brought it back to work related topics and I put up with it, because honestly I wanted to do something else during a weekend than go out with friends or watching movies. Third date comes over coffee and the damn conversation was litelally like a long interview with questions such as "what appeals you to your research" etc. If I was quite excited the first few times, because he is a hottie, he is a bit shy, and I wanted to meet new people, the last date was an absolute boredom and I literally lost the enthu, the will to see him or any desire to go out again. He booked a comedy club with his friends and asked me if I want to join, I will simply say that I cannot come - I cannot endure any more of this bs. I told her it was fine because I just wanted her to be happy but deep down I was hurt because of the fact that he was willing to make a relationship work with her but not with me. I let it go after a while and soon she told me that they broke up and were just friends. Well a couple of days ago, we were all hanging out and I saw him for the first time in years and at first I was fine, but then I would see them joking around and laughing and then later I saw them hug and it all just made me sad. Then later on that night they kept constantly texting each other and he even called her. I could hear what he was saying (Not trying to eaves drop) and I guess she realized that and then turned the volume down on her phone. At some point in the conversation he told her that he loved her, and she didn't say it back she just said: "You too". She's always acting secretive about him with me but never with her other friends and it really hurts. Just seeing them together really hurts and I don't know why. I know I sound childish but thats just how I feel. How do I get through this? If I try to talk to her about it she will get mad and say that I'm the one who said it was okay for her to go out with him in the first place and she wouldn't have done it if she knew it would make me sad. Our breakup was mutual and we agreed to be friends after the breakup so there isn't any bad blood between us, but he still acts really strange around me for some reason. Let's say we're at a party and he arrives, he will hug everyone else in the room with much enthusiasm except me. Or he will glance at me for like a split second when he thinks I'm not looking then try to avoid me as much as possible. I don't understand, what's his problem? |
| Question: Do you agree with this if a woman wants to know your name she likes you? Posted: 23 May 2016 05:29 PM PDT I have a friend that's 29 and is really good with women due to his looks. He said within a few minutes of a conversation, women that do like him will ask for his name. And that most women he's gone out with have asked for his name within a few minutes of their first conversation.. Is this a good indicator? I know it's a strange question, but it's a pattern he's noticed with women from his experience. I am just asking for a second time. |

| Question: My best friend is moving, now what? Posted: 23 May 2016 05:28 PM PDT He's been the person I tell everything to, and now he is moving this summer. We kinda of have a thing, but we aren't dating. He has helped me through awful times, and is the only person I tell personal things too. Now he is moving, and is so worried. I don't wanna worry him more knowing i'm really upset, but I don't know how to be normal friends knowing he is going to leave. |
