Putting this in religious section so Godly/biblical/religious answers are welcome! I go to visit my family every few months and I always loathe doing so. I love them, but I can only handle them in small intervals. For starters, the majority of my family are women. I'm at a point in my life where being around so many women makes me feel like I'm going insane. This also makes it hard to admire or look up to them in the way that I would a man. I have to constantly shove food down my throat when I visit because if I don't then I'm met with anger and confusion as to why I'm not eating. This in turn makes me resent them because I always gain weight when I visit them. This is my own fault, but I just cannot handle anger directed at me and I have had mental breakdowns visiting my family because of how loud and angry they get at me. They also get mad at me for my choices in life. Being vegan, being concerned about my skin/weight, drinking a lot of water (yes f*cking drinking water). I just.... Their world view and IQ is totally different than mine and I understand that, but I just don't know how to understand that and enjoy being around them for prolonged periods of time. It's frustrating too because if I try to explain things to them I feel as though they don't understand because it's too complex. ~_~ I don't know how to relate to them or converse with them anymore....

I am 16 about to be 17 in less then a month. My mom makes me put my phone in her room at 10:00pm on school nights, and 11:00pm on weekends. I find this so stupid. She'll pick a random day out of the month to go through my messages and some of my pictures. Shes stressing herself out in my opinion. I am going to be a senior let alone im about to be 17 why does this matter. I think shes overreacting

He paid $10 for the cat. No proof because it was paid for in cash. He wasn't even the one to text or call the people about the cat, I was. He can't take care of the kitten because he is always busy, I was always the one to feed it, etc. He's also been cheating on me for three weeks and I'm pregnant with his kid. And now he wants to leave me because he's unhappy.

So I love horses. They are amazing. I've been taking lessons at a place close to my house for a couple months now.. I started leasing a horse there two months ago but now I started to lose interest. It's not like I hate the horses but it's just weird. I don't know why. I'm 13 btw. Please help? My trainer thinks it's her fault and it's not and I just feel so bad that I haven't been out there. HELP!!!!

Or say someone going through DV or some other abuse is just giving me an attitude. Or someone who was abused as a child is giving me attitude. Should I cut them slack? Should I give them a free pass to give me annoyance?

Im a 17 year old girl and i wanted to try sailing lessons this summer. My mom said i should be ashamed because other 17 year olds are counselours at these camps while i am taking lessons so she said no. I really want to get into sailing though so idk do u think its too late to try something new? I actually may want to pursue sailing competitively and quit field hockey so that i can pursue it instead because i hate field hockey

My brother has a friend name James who is a married man that cheats on his wife. I only met James once but at the time I didn t know he cheats on his wife until my wife told me. Im not perfect nor am I better than anyone else. But I don t respect anyone that cheats on their spouse. My brother in law invited everyone over his house for a BBQ and James came over with his pregnant wife and child. I automatically feel a bit sorry and depress for his wife on top of that I started get mad at my wife and brother in law for even talking to him. I wanted to leave but I stuck it out for the sake of my wife because we were over her brother s house. James wanted to hold my son Which was okay but I didn t like the fact my wife refer him as an uncle to my son. I dont know this man this was my second time meeting him idk why she would even say that. So now im a bit upset. James wife and child looked bored the whole time especially because he kept abandoning to hangout with other people. When My wife and I were driving home I told her I don t want to be in the same room as James again. Am I being too harsh on someone I barley know?

My ex boyfriend now*** he broke up with me last month and I finally got it out of him: he wants to be single for the summer. I know I am going to sound pathetic but I am head over heels in love with this kid, and I honestly can t picture myself being with anyone but him. I showed up at his job to get the answer from him, why he actually dumped me and I know it wasn t a good idea and I know he probably hates me for that but what is done is that. I know people will write: you re pathetic, move on blah blah blah but I want another shot for him in the future. I really do. Do I just not talk to him for the rest of the summer unless he decides to text me first? He said he won t hang out with me because he doesn t want to get my hopes up it suck to hear that from someone you can t go a day thinking about but please let me know what s the best option. Do I not text him unless he texts me first or do I try to do a small talk and maybe one day it will lead to something? I won t be showing up at his job every again, no worries. I just showed up yesterday (may 30th) so should I give him like a month space to cool off and then text him? Don t tell me to move on. I know I need To but I m having a hard time with it. We had been together for almost 4 years. Do I delete him from all social media? Or is that a dick move and won t help my situation. I KNOW its stupid to wait, I GET IT, But I'm head over heels in love with him, i don't know how to not text him, i deleted his number but i have in memorized so it doesn't help my situation. OK Last MONTH something told me to browse around the site meetme to see if my man was on there BAM I see his profile not only the same profile pic he met me in that site with but he was liking all these 18 year olds pics and he's 25 me and him have been dating since dec of 2014 and mind y'all this is the site me and him met on and them little bitches he was thirsting after lived NEAR HIM I questioned him and he told me he deleted the app off his phone but it never deleted his account and he "doesn't know how " to do that But when i confronted him he claimed he "Found out how to delete it and deleted it " THIS WAS LAST MONTH So last night out of curiosity I check meetme again AND I FOUND HIS PROFILE BUT IT WAS PRIVATE THIS TIME SO I COULDNT SEE WTF HE WAS DOING THEN HE CLAIMED THAT I WAS CRAZY FOR CHECKING AGAIN AND THAT HE "DEACTIVED THE ACCOUNT" If that was the case it would be Totally GONE SHOULD I FINALLY LEAVE ? SINCE HES CLEARLY LYING ALSO HE PUT THAT HE'S SINGLE on there and when i cursed him out he told me "goodbye im tired of dealing with your crazy a$$" AND ALSO HE PUT THAT HE'S SINGLE AND HE'S LOOKING TO MEET NEW PEOPLE GIRLS ONLY AND THAT HE LIVES ALONE WITH A FULLTIME JOB WTF and this is all recent hes been liking girls pics for months

Also where can I go to make friends? I have an "odd" personality that is mostly shy at first, but if I get to know people, I can be crazy. But I have been burned out by getting too close to people way too fast, only to part ways due to various reasons or find out they weren't who they pretended to be at first. I'm scared to make friends, bad at making friends, and don't know where to make friends at! I'm 22 and spend much of my time, at home. My friend at work was talking about me and my squad/girlfriends and I didn't have the guts to tell him I have no squad. The other day my friend & I were at the hallway walking to class & there i saw the girl I liked there so I was looking at her & she wasn't looking at me she was looking straight ahead. Then when we passed by again I turn around to look at her & i saw that she hide behind her friend but she she looking straight ahead while walking. Then in class she caught me looking so I just looked away. Then later she went over to talk to the teacher I was looking at her so then I look away. Later when I turn around I saw her at the back of the class and was looking at me. But then later left class early with her friend.

I'm very jealous. I'm really insecure. I make a big deal out of almost everything, I get this horrible feeling if I see a boyfriend talking to other girls. I'm very clingy as well like I have to know that my partner still has feelings toward me and I like to get a lot of attention from that person. I've talked to people about this and the first thing they asked me if I grew up with my dad. why? technically I didn't, him and my mom got a divorce when I was 6, they used to fight a lot and there was no chemistry left between them. My husband and I are trying to decide whether or not to move back to charlotte NC to buy a house or stay here in Sarasota FL and buy a house. Both have their negatives and positives. Charlotte is a beautiful growing city with great schools and doctors. We can buy a nice home for cheap. But my husbands family is very hard to be around. They are very religious and judgement and stresses my husband out. Sarasota also has some cheap condos. Beautiful inside. We are by the beach and have my family close by. Here we have more date nights because my mom can watch the kids and over in charlotte we might get a date night once every 2 months. They are both great places. Charlotte feels like a more exciting place to live but at the same time sarasota might be better for us for our time together. Both equal in stresses and good things. What should we do?

I m 16 years old and I m 38 weeks pregnant. I have everything figured out on what to do with the baby and have received immense support from teachers, family members, friends, and even strangers. My boyfriend and I are, of course, not married. My family strongly suggest that I give my baby my own last name, but my boyfriend is fighting for the baby to have his own. I m not sure about the legal issues that might pop up down the road if our relationship does not work out. I don t mind what name the baby gets, but I just want to do what is best for me and my child. It s a baby girl by the way.

I have a married coworker who started working with me about a year ago. Working together, you can't help but get to know each other and become friends. We never share anything very personal or ever do anything together aside from business. We are very similar in many ways including our sense of humor so we get along well. He seems like a very honest and good guy so I never even considered his intentions were anything but good. A few coworkers thought he seemed a little too interested in me, but I didn't think so because he has never made any indication of any kind like that. He talks about his family and I've talked to his wife quite a few times and saw her at different events. He recently asked me if I would hang out with him sometime outside of work. I told him I would love to hang out with his family. That I really like his family and think it'd be fun. After that, he's seemed very distant and almost upset with me. Based on his reaction, it would seem he was looking for more than a friendship. That's very upsetting to me because I think he's awesome and I feel like I've lost a good friend. How should I deal with him at work now? Should I avoid him as much as possible? What advice can anyone give me to help me deal with this? Am I being naive to hope that I can still be friends with him? Thanks in advance for your help.

Long story short I met john sophomore year he was a freshman. (Last year) He offered to walk me to class every day bc my vision wasn't good, it's a lot better now. We started talking, I knew his mom, we get along so great. He was so loving, sweet. He had took me to a football game, he said that me being visually impaired didn't faze him, He still thought I was the most beautiful sweetest girl. I liked him so much! He liked me just as much! We got really close, we had our very first movie night & got even closer! Held hands. All was perfect, we were so close to dating! no problems!.. Then 1 week came where he completely stopped all communication. He stopped walking me talking to me I don't know what happened. it stopped all at once, I figured it was the anniversary week of sisters death from 2 years ago & he just didn't want to talk to anyone at all. But for about a year he didn't talk to me & he blocked me on social media. I never knew why not even his best friend knew why he was acting like that. I am now a junior & he is a sophomore, this year I gave him a candy cane for Christmas with a nice letter, he loved it! He gave me the biggest hug & ive never seen him so happy! He is very sweet still and loving, I recently added him as a friend more than sure that he wouldn't accept it, but he did!!! I'm just wondering what do you think was wrong or why he did that. Ive always wondered and still do, part of me wonders why he would accept it after a whole year of silence
