Question: I need help with a younger friend who is in an abusive home.? Posted: 27 May 2016 03:33 PM PDT I have a friend who is about 16 now, I know them online as we are several states away. He is a really good friend, and from what he has told me her family is clearly abusive. From **** like his father beating him up with a pvc pipe until it as described by my friend screaming agony just for him to move for him and his brother not cooperating on doing dishes, to his father letting him and his brother fight out on the front lawn and saying that he had planned on locking the door and letting the winner of the fight come in and the loser could sleep out in the cold before he had fled inside. (Not to mention his brother is incredibly aggressive, with probably other mental problems that he probably needs help for. From entering my friends room punching him in the face with out explaining why and just leaving, to throwing a sledgehammer into the side of their house just because.) I am not sure of what to do to help him, or if I can help him. My guess is getting him to call cps but she worries that it might not work, and that things will just end up worse for her. Also if she does call them what will she do after. Is there any kind of other support lines that could help him? Maybe something local in his state of Missouri? If it helps they are also transgender. I would have used feminine pronouns as she is m to f, but I left it male so it didn't complicate explaining their problems as physically they are male. |
Question: My Best Friends Sister!? Posted: 27 May 2016 03:32 PM PDT I shall try to explain this situation as best as I can. I will be grateful for any adwise! My best friend which is my other half. Can't live without that guy (I'm a male and my best friend is a male). He loves me as much as I love him (we are both straight and his got a girlfriend of his own). His got a sister. So here's the situation. His sister and I were first friends with benefits which he found out about. At first he was all cool about it. But then she and I started hanging out a lot. When this happend my other half (best friend) started to get annoyed about it and got quite sad about the situation. Though he and I still hangs out and nothings seems different but I knows he doesn't like it. Now when even more time has pasted. His sister and I is crazy in love. Like no before. And we both think our relation seems very serious. There is something really special. That feeling you get when you know it's just right. She and I have unofficiall relationship atm. I've talked with my best friend about this. And he doesn't like this at all. The thing is he and I still hangs out and nothing still seems different. I'm just really afraid of losing my friend's or even worse my best friend if my best friends sister and I become official. Any advice what so ever will be gladly accepted. Peace. |
Posted: 27 May 2016 03:27 PM PDT So summer break started for me yesterday, and im already bored lol. I want to make a summer bucketlist like i do every year but i have no idea what to put on it this year! Im a sophomore in high school (going to be a junior) but cant drive yet. (My best friend can though so if you have ideas that involve driving somewhere, they'll have to be done with her lol) the ideas dont have to be outside for example i like crafting and changing up my room so literally think of anything and i'll probably put it on the bucket list lol. Im just out of ideas lol |

Question: How do you get rid of a total douchebag in school? Posted: 27 May 2016 02:20 PM PDT There's this guy in my school is being a total shithead to everyone. Everybody hates him because of his actions, even the TEACHERS. Just today he strangled a girl and beat up another one, he has done this multiple times, and sexually harassed men and women a lot (He's done it to me so many times I beat the **** out him). Need answers, thanks. |

Question: We aren't close friends why is she copying me? Posted: 27 May 2016 01:17 PM PDT Honestly I have some close female friends that copy me on certain things but I don't mind because I know them. This girl does that to me on everything and I haven't met her in person and only talked to her 4 times. |
Posted: 27 May 2016 01:16 PM PDT She has been my closest friend 5 years and for most of the 5 years we ve had the same opinion on drugs/alcohol/marijuana and that was great. But now she s going to try weed and I don t know what to do. I have friends that are complete pot heads, it doesn t bother me. but for some reason when I have a friend who doesn t do anything and then they start after the friendship, it bothers me a LOT more. its not that the weed bothers me, but I just don t really like how most people act when they are high. I like the friend ship how it is, I don t want it to change... |
Posted: 27 May 2016 01:07 PM PDT My work could tell it wasn t me so it didn t cause any problems but I just really wanna know who it was because like wtf So I know the number that called the store and it has some illionois areas which is weird ( I m from Florida). I ve tried looking it up and searching to see if it was connected to any social media sites ~ no luck I tried calling the number and it was really weird I tried to sort of get them to tell me who they were without confronting them or anything but they seemed super defensive and just hung up on me The voice was also super unfamiliar and weird I couldn t even tell if it was a male of female voice I honestly can t think of any of my friends who would do it because I ve actually turned in a 2 week notice and I assumed the person who called hadn t known that I already quit. |
Question: I hate protective people, how should I deal with them? Posted: 27 May 2016 01:03 PM PDT especially people that are protective of me like I really want to punch their face when somebody's that protective that all it does is cause more drama like really it would be nice if they would back off let me handle my own problems anyways please give me an answer on how to deal with these people no assumptions please just answers for the people that think I don't want help when I am being robbed, attacked or whatever ofcourse I need help when I am being physically attacked but a lot of times people that are protective of just hurt other people because of something they said or something stupid like that which just makes the problem worse |

Question: My friend compliments other girls but not me? Posted: 27 May 2016 12:52 PM PDT This is going to sound weird, but my friend never compliments me. She has no problem complimenting other people, but she never ever does it to me. Not that I expect to be showered in compliments all of the time, but if I wear a new top or something similar I find that usually another one of my friends will casually notice it and tell me she likes it. Even if I'm not deserving of a compliment, its always nice to make someone feel good, right? She will even compliment other girls right in front of me but says nothing to me... Why? |
Question: My friends mom shaves her "down there?"? Posted: 27 May 2016 12:43 PM PDT I finally remembered when it was 5th or 6th grade and me and my friend were 10 years old, we were talking about that and she said her mom shaves her "down there" and I didn't think it was weird and I thought every girls mom did that so I said "Me too." I finally remembered about this and now I don't know what to think... Is this normal for her? We are adults now and never talked about this anymore. |
Question: Is there a matchmaking website for finding a new friend? Posted: 27 May 2016 12:37 PM PDT I am just curious to know if there are any websites out there for matching people up as friends. You know, a site that is like all the dating websites that have the compatibility questionnaires and all of that, but is for matching people to be just friends and nothing more. I do not want to use it as I feel it is too risky to meet people from online, even through a dating site. But I just wondered are there any friendship matchmaking websites like that out there? |
Question: A boy at my school has......................... B00BS?!? Posted: 27 May 2016 12:15 PM PDT He has boobs but he is a boy, how does he have boobs? O_o |
Question: Does this make me petty? Posted: 27 May 2016 11:53 AM PDT My roommates continuously use my dishes without my permission regardless of how many times I tell them not to. Even on our roommate contract, it says not use dishes without permission. Yet, they still do. It wouldn't even be that much of a problem if they cleaned my dishes afterward!! Out of frustration I put a note on my cabinet saying, " DO NOT USE MY DISHES, UTENSILS, OR ANYTHING THAT IS IN OWNERSHIP OF ME (My name)." They said that I was being petty for putting the sign up, but I don't really understand how. They are being disrespectful by using my stuff. I understand I am the person that has a complete Kitchen set, but I bought it AND I barely know these girls. Anyways, am I being petty by putting up a sign? |
Question: Wife has a new friend with benefits...? Posted: 27 May 2016 11:52 AM PDT What can I do? The other day I caught my wife with yet another man friend. She told me that he is just her, "friend with benefits". This is the second friend with benefits that she has had this year. Five mo. ago I confronted her about seeing this other guy, and she hit me in the head with a dildo pad. Now, she runs around the house in her panties with the curtains open, yelling obscenities. She tells me that I'm a worthless husband and that she wants a divorce. Should I just call it quits? |
Question: Should I move or stay? Posted: 27 May 2016 11:43 AM PDT So I'm in going into tenth grade and I have a huge decision to make that will change my life. Should I stay in my hometown where I grew up in. and where my friends and most of my family live. Or should I move to a bigger city with my mom. She keeps on telling me that I'll have more opportunities for academics and sports and stuff. She also told me that there is more things to do such as go to amusement parks more restaurants more everything really. It sounds fun and all but it's kinda hard to make friends at my grade level and I don't want to leave the people I know behind. This decision is a very hard one to make and I don't know what to do. |
Posted: 27 May 2016 11:23 AM PDT I recently spent a week with a friend in Miami. We were pretty much joined at the hip the ENTIRE trip. We shared a room, rental car, went out to eat together, everything. The only time we got alone time was when we took showers or when she went on a jog on the beach. During the trip, we brought up the idea of going somewhere else together but I was still annoyed by some comments she made (which I took as insults), her asking me to snap pictures of the SAME pose at every little thing she did (well not every little thing, but close enough), and her somewhat bossy ways. She also takes forever to get ready and go. Now, we both like to look good and make sure we re put together before going out but some days I had to wait like 20 minutes for her to be ready to get out the door! At some points I wouldn t even say anything to her unless necessary. After we landed back in our hometown, she made a remark saying "I don t need to see you for atleast two months, etc". She said it w/somewhat of a joking tone but I believe she was serious. She wasn t alone of that though. I wanted space from her too! I wanted space from everybody at that point! We have spoken minimally after the trip, though. I think she noticed that I was being distant b/c a few days later she said, "You ve been hiding from me" and talking about weekend plans and such. Am I wrong for wanting space and even at times questioning our compatibility as friends? |
Question: Where is the best place online to find friends? Posted: 27 May 2016 11:01 AM PDT I am disabled so I am home all the time so I would really talk to people online I have tried some sites but every time I get people that want to talk dirty and that is not what I am looking for I am married and all I want is friends to talk to. |
Posted: 27 May 2016 10:52 AM PDT do it... should I go through with it and risk losing a lot of "friends" even though I will gain new ones? or not take the opportunity and continue to suffer along with my friends |
Question: Should I take out my roommates' trash? Posted: 27 May 2016 10:50 AM PDT I leave for work today and see the trash by the front door with a note that says 'please take out, thanks'. I have 2 roommates. Both of my roommates use the trash on the regular, however the only thing I ever put in it is 1 keurig pod a day. I keep all of my trash in a separate trash bag in my room. Literally. I am not friends with the roommate who left the note, so I don't feel like doing it just to be nice. And it's an apartment, so it is a hassle to take it out as well. I guess I am just wondering if I have an obligation as a member of the household to take out the trash even when I don't put anything in it? Or if it is totally OK for me to disregard the note and leave it for the other roommate. |
Question: I am ****** up right? Posted: 27 May 2016 10:39 AM PDT i am almost 24 and i literally have no friends. No friends to call on when i am in deep ****. My childhood sucked! I struggled i was sick in my teen years missed out on a lot of friendships or teambuilding, i have literally no one i can call a friend. My family let me down too. no one is doing their best in life, no social contacts, no life , everyone already has their group of friends and no one wants to do anything fun....i grew up in a poor home, we werent allowed to have many friends, my mom was strict, what should i do at this age? making new friends pretty much isnt an option, i will never feel the closeness of friendships....i will never feel any of that. |
Question: How to distance yourself from two close friends if you dont have other close friends.? Posted: 27 May 2016 10:28 AM PDT That seems hard because i cant ditch them to go hang out with other friends (since i dont have) so i have to stay with them all day at school and it's anoying. I cant seem to find the right friends so i always end up with the wrong ones who i cant make myself to love. I would really want a bestfriend |
Question: Should I feel guilty about leaving roommate after lease? Posted: 27 May 2016 10:16 AM PDT My current roommate and I were really close friends in the Army at our last duty station, we both planned on getting out of the Army around the same time and since they didn't want to go home they asked for suggestions. I pointed out that the major city I was going to for college had great colleges, low cost of living, and tons of jobs. In the end they were accepted to the same university I was so moved here when I did. We have been roommates ever since and the unofficial plan was that we would ride out the roommate situation until we graduate and save some money. We both graduate the end of 2017. I have one standing job offer from an internship already and another internship from next spring. They have not been so lucky so I'm a little more worried about their financials. My girlfriend and I both have another accounting internship next spring where we have been told to expect 60-70 hours a week. We have begun to talk about getting an apartment together later this year when my current lease ends. Should I feel bad about leaving my roommate before we both finish college even though there was never any official deal that we would wait? I feel slightly guilty but I know that personally I want to move in with my girlfriend. Advice? |
Posted: 27 May 2016 10:07 AM PDT So basically I have a One Direction account on Instagram. I'm still getting used to Instagram's new update so I tried sending a direct message to my friend in real life giving her my phone number but I accidentally posted it online for a few hours. Then I turn on my phone and I see I have about 50 new messages from people from my fan account saying that they love my cow and how they want to be my friend and stuff not being creepy just being nice. I have 14,000 followers and basically every single one of them are always nice and I talked all of them and no one on there is really creepy there just a teenage girl like me who just loves One Direction. Should I be worried I mean I blocked their number but can he still get my information and stuff what should I do again know that not all tha should I be worried I mean I blocked their number but can't they still get my information and stuff what should I do? again know that no one I follow has ever been creepy. I interact with them all. Just the fact that they have my number weirdens me out |
Question: Why is it that some people can't take no for an answer? Posted: 27 May 2016 09:42 AM PDT Long story short, I have many good friends, but for some reason, I've always had this problem with my best friend and nobody else. She can't take 'no' for an answer. For example, she asks me to hang out and I politely say I can't. She keeps asking me why and convincing me to go meet her, even though I clearly explained that I can't because I'm busy/tired). I spend most of my days working and studying, which leaves me completely drained at the end of the day. I've explained it to her so many times already, yet I always find myself in the same situation... as if she doesn't care about my situation at all/doesn't listen whenever she needs something. Do you guys have friends like this and/or know these kind of people? How do you deal with them? |
Question: Gift for someone to remember you by? Posted: 27 May 2016 09:30 AM PDT I've taken guitar lessons from the same guy for about 6-7 years. Next week will be my last week because I'm going to college this fall and probably won't have the time to take them anymore. Over time he's become like a friend. I was just going to get him a big thing of mocha coffee, but my mom said that I might want to get him something to keep and remember me by I guess. A while back he had asked me if I could make a belt one time because he saw my friendship bracelet and thought it was cool. I actually bought the materials to make the belt, but never did it because I wasn't sure how long I would need to make the string. Is there a way I could figure out how long to make the string? He's into skate boards, Built to Spill, guitars, and coffee for a few examples. |
Question: People always call me innocent...? Posted: 27 May 2016 09:16 AM PDT It's really annoying. I'm 20 and people think I'm innocent. One of my friends said it's because I don't drink or go to raves or engage in drugs. The only reason I don't do these things is because they don't interest me. I'm not interested in parties because I'm an introvert and getting drunk and doing drugs often seems like a really stupid idea. Doing these things just sound like it would be boring for me anyways. So, how do I make these people stop? |
Question: Whats a good bff thing to say when doing a hand shake? Posted: 27 May 2016 09:12 AM PDT Rn we do one that goes like this sweet as shuger hard as ice hurt me once ill kill u twice any better ideas? |
Posted: 27 May 2016 08:55 AM PDT Ok. So this may sound selfish and I'm sorry but hear me out. I'm part of 2 friend groups, group A and group B. I tend to hang out with group A a lot more. In group A there are 2 of us girls and 3 guys. There is one couple in this group and we all get along great. My best friend from group B is a sweetheart and I decided to set her up with a guy from group A because he is a great guy and she chooses the worst people to have a thing with. Problem is I'm a Muslim and I don't date, and the rest of them will bring dates sometimes and before I set my friends up it was fine, but for some reason after I set my friends up something inside of me changed. I feel more distanced from group A and sadly I wish my friends would break up. I don't know why I'm feeling like this. I tend to be proud that I'm not a jealous person.... but I feel like that's changing. What should I do? I've been down in the dumps lately. ): |
Question: I'm always arguing with fools? Posted: 27 May 2016 08:46 AM PDT Fools assume, they drop baseless accusations, fools are always irrelevant in their arguments and began to attack a persons character and sometimes I just get mad at the audacity of them being dumb enough to bodily talk about that which they do not know. I feel yucky afterwards, knowing I stooped low and it takes a while to get over that feeling of getting caught-up in a dumb pointless argument I had with a fool. I suppose I need tips to stay wise and quite, even in situations with more than one fool attacking you. |

Question: Why doesn't he want to be my friend? Posted: 27 May 2016 08:07 AM PDT My boyfriend and I had a big argument. We've been arguing every other day for a week. So finally we decided to take a step back work on the problem and fix us. So I told him maybe we should work on being friends for right now because we've never argued this bad. And he says "we can't be friends" . and I said "at least try , you haven't tried to be friends" and he says "sorry I just cant" I told him I didn't want to lose him and he said I wasn't going to lose him but he won't even try and be my friend? He makes me feel like he can't be my friend because I'm a bad person. he thinks me wanting to be friends is me leaving.. But it's not |
Question: Fun things to do instead of a party? Posted: 27 May 2016 08:00 AM PDT My friends are all going to a party tonight that I wasn't invited to. I didn't know about it until now, and I'm actually pretty bummed out about it. I don't want to spend the whole night upset and wondering what they're doing. Does anybody have any ideas on what I could do instead to cheer myself up? I have to babysit my sister tonight so I can't leave the house. |
Question: IS MY RELATIONSHIP WITH MY BEST FRIEND CONSIDERED PLATONIC? Posted: 27 May 2016 07:40 AM PDT I'm just curious because I'm a straight dude, and my best friend is also straight. We both like girls, we have sex with girls and we are straight as a pole. But our friends, classmates and even our teachers tease us that we are a couple. Especially me, because I get pissed a lot and they think it's funny when I get mad. Basically, it's like this. My best friend is really touchy, and we act like a couple whenever we joke around. We call each other "babe", he hold my hand sometimes and we always hug and we don't feel uneasy because we are comfortable that we are not gay. We both have our own girl friends actually. Anyway, you can say we are very bromantic, we even accidentally dated 2 valentines day ago when our friends left early and we were left alone on valentines day in the mall. I can't blame people if they think we are a couply, because honestly, If I was aifferent person and I saw my best friend and I, I would think the same thing. But at the end of the day, we aren't gay... Not even slight. So please help me to define what our type of friendship is. Is this just plain platonic? Or what? |
Question: How do you forgive somebody if they aren't sorry? Posted: 27 May 2016 07:11 AM PDT This one person did something really terrible to me and it made me very depressed. This one person told me to forgive them and it will make you feel better and get peace. But the person that hurt me isn't sorry at all, They have had years to apologise to me (but hasn't apologised once ) or to try to make it up to me but hasn't done anything so I don't know how to forgive them. So how do you forgive somebody that isn't sorry. |
Question: Why do I feel so alone in a world full of people? Posted: 27 May 2016 06:47 AM PDT I've been trying to unravel the mystery that lies beneath. I can't quite put my thumb on it, and it bothers the **** out of me. Why can't I discover me, the genuine person that's inside me? A little bit of background information: I've been suffering from severe depression since I was 11 years old, I'm now 26. It was three years ago that I was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, and that's a tough pill to swallow to be diagnosed with such an awful thing. My life isn't any different though. I still feel like I'm a stranger in this world. I have no one to ******* relate to. Eveyone that I meet conversate about the stupidest and annoying **** in this world. They like to gossip, talk about those ******* kardashian women, they just talk about the most meaningless thing in this world. There's more important fishes to fry than all that trivial bullshit. How are we going to solve the drug epidemic in America? How can we stop stigmatizing mental illness? How are we going to teach the next generation not to be *** holes? How are we going to stop Isis? How can we stop domestic violence? Those are the things that should be on the the top of everyone's list, but sadly it's rare to find someone insightful like that. I feel like I'm retarded because if I'm in a group of people I'm the silent one. It's like I'm a ******* mute. I have nothing to say and I believe that what I say won't be interesting or it won't matter to other people. So what do I do? I become withdrawan |

Question: I really don't want to do this, help? Posted: 27 May 2016 06:41 AM PDT Sorry it's quite long to explain. Typical teenage problems. So my new friend wants me to meet with her best friend which is all good, I was happy to do that. So we arranged to meet somewhere and chill and my new friend was persistent that I had to come, if I said no she would rearrange the date so I couldn't decline. So I said yes, not being able to get out of it. But the other people who are going are really Insentive roadmen who just say what's on their mind, they'd easily call you ugly or start touching you up and not allowing you to go, it's creepy. And I'm a really sensitive person, I don't even know why these people are so desperate to hang around with me? Anyway, My new friend purposely didn't tell me these people were going to go because she knew I wouldn't go if they were, and I found out, she doesn't know, and now I really don't want to go! But I have no idea how to get out of it!? If I say I can't go, I have to revise, she'll rearrange the date! I tried to tell her the truth by saying "I'm not going if the boys are gonna be there" but she just said they weren't going but I know they are! I asked my mum if she would back me up saying I was grounded, but she doesn't want to take part which is fair enough. I don't want to be rude by saying I don't want to hang out with her, as she's one of my main friends and I don't know what to do!? |
Question: Is this rude what my friend did? Posted: 27 May 2016 06:21 AM PDT So the other day me and two friends were going to go to the zoo. We all planned this about a week ago. I texted them that morning what time we were still going at and we all comfirmed a time. one of my friends we were supposed to pick her up at 1 she had to run some errands first then she texts me and said she wouldnt be ready till about 1:30 so ok. Me and my other friend were waiting to pick her up and then 1:30 comes we text her if she is ready no response, finally 2:30 she texts us were already at the zoo because we didnt want to wait for her to respond and then she responded that she can't go she has to take a test for school (pretty sure that is a lie because she just graduated from college). Do you think it was rude of my friend to do this and keep agging us on like she was going when im sure she knew about her test ahead of time and we could of been able to reschedule our zoo plans and then bail out on us? |
Question: Why does my friend end friendships a lot? Posted: 27 May 2016 06:16 AM PDT I have a friend who ends her friendship with her other friends a lot. Why does she do that? |
Posted: 27 May 2016 06:14 AM PDT She always gets mad when I say my ex had hurt me and would always make excuses for him. She hangs around him and I said she's acting desperate because he treats her like **** and only desperate people would hang out with people like that. She says she didn't mean to say what she said but keeps apoligizing and trying to avoid confrontation. It makes me feel like she doesn't even care about what I have to say. She can speak to him I never said she couldn't sheesh people |
Question: Why did my best friend stop talking to me after high school? Posted: 27 May 2016 05:05 AM PDT We finished high school last year and i have known this friend since 5th grade and now all of a sudden he won't answer my texts or if I call him we have been friends for 9 years and now nothing what happened |
Question: Should I kiss my best friend (crush) when i will call her for a sleepover? Posted: 27 May 2016 05:02 AM PDT Ok here is the deal...She is straight (small possibility questioning) and my best friend, and I like her. I confessed and she said she doesn't feel the same, but damn; the way she acts tells me the opposite!! She said yes when i asked her to come over ti my house for a sleepover, and I want to kiss her, but I'm too afraid to? The thing is that we do everything, EVERYTHING, together! We don't keep secrets, and she didnt mind when I told her that I like her, so...any advice would be helpful... |
Question: How can I stop being jealous of my bestfriend? Posted: 27 May 2016 04:30 AM PDT I'm 13 btw So my best friend and I have met each other in 7th grade, when I met her, I wasn't jealous of her at all! But now that we've gotten to 8th grade, I've just gotten extremely jealous of her to the point of where I get mad at her for no reason sometimes. She always asks me why I always get mad at her and always answer with this, "because you are annoying." My bestfriend is very pretty, she has a big house, she has a sister (something I don't have but I really want), she has a better phone than I do and her mom is so much better than my mom. Ever since I've gotten to 8th grade I've been feeling really down about myself. I don't think I'm pretty because my bestfriend told me I'm not and she also told me that I was fat, those two things really got to me and did affect me. Anyways, I was just wondering how I can stop this jealousy because I really don't want it to take over my life. Even when I'm not with my bestfriend, I still think negative things about her. Any advice? |
Question: She invited everyone but me?!? Posted: 27 May 2016 03:53 AM PDT So I just had my eighth grade graduation and me and two other girls are like super close. We all talked about going out to eat this weekend together ( us and a few other girls) and one of us was going to arrange it. That girl's mom emailed everyone but me about going out this weekend. Everything seemed fine at graduation and when I snap chatted her about it( I was a little suspicious bc the other girls had already gotten an email) she conveniently watched the snapchat and didn't reply. I don't have a lot of friends and I wanted to make this summer memorable but she doesn't even invite me to go eat out with everyone. I'm so crushed and feel so betrayed. What should I do? |
Question: Reviving a friendship? Posted: 27 May 2016 02:45 AM PDT Alright so me in my best friend had a big fight in sophomore year and we ignored and almost forgot about each others existence for almost 2 years. I've tried to rendezvous with her through Facebook and we've been communicating about things. She says she's got no words to say and she doesn't forgive easily then she tells me that she's not the same person I used to know before and that she's changed. What should I do? I just replied with an "okay then" but I don't know what else to say. Any help? |
Question: Depressed. Nobody to talk to. Should I kill myself? Posted: 27 May 2016 02:37 AM PDT I'm always there for all of my friends when they need someone to talk to. I am so depressed right now, I failed two tests, my dad hasn't been home for two days, I was punished in the morning for going late to school and missed out on a test, my best friend keeps flirting with the guy I like, the science teacher humiliated me and I just feel like crying. I tried to talk to my other best friend but he keeps ignoring my messages and replies in like an hour or thirty minutes. He's the one that always comes to me when he has problems and now he's ignoring me. I don't know who to talk to, I'm a really nice girl and I don't think I deserved any of the things that happened to me today. I cut myself all afternoon but nothing seems to feel better. I'm in my room right now, I have a blade, I want to slit my wrists and just end it. The pain is too much for me. |
Question: What do teenagers (15-18) talk about? Posted: 27 May 2016 01:12 AM PDT I want to get to know new people outside of school, but I don't know what to talk about to start a conversation and what to talk about when I have started a conversation. Any tips? |
Question: Why did this girl get offended? i told her she's okay looking for a chunky white girl? Posted: 27 May 2016 12:45 AM PDT she asked me out and asked me what i thought about how she looks? I told her "naw, but you're okay looking for a chunky white girl I guess". she got really offended, why? she should be appreciative because i told her she's okay looking. wtf is wrong with women these days? theyre so entitled. |
Question: Is this the perfect gift for my friend? Please help? Posted: 27 May 2016 12:35 AM PDT Okay before you answer I have to explain just a little bit of a back story. A few months ago I met my friend for the first time, after a few weeks of talking to her she told me that she loves photography and even planned to major in while she's in college. But a year before college everyone she knew talked down her idea and someone even stole the only camera she had. She told me she was over it and is majoring in something else, but for some reason I don't believe her when she said it doesn't matter. So I'm planning on buying her a camera before the Fall semester starts. I'm only worried because it may come off *** weird. And I'm worried she may not accept the gift. Is it actually weird? Is it a good idea? I just think it has special meaning to it and I want her to keep going after her dreams. |
Question: Afraid I lost a really good friend? Posted: 27 May 2016 12:30 AM PDT I met a girl, she dates someone, I fell inlove with her, we became really good friends, but yesterday I expressed myself in a really bad way and I was very rude. She said she was gonna stop this frienship for the sake of everyone, but then, she realized how bad I was feeling and how much I was sorry about what I said, that she texted me, we supposedly got friends again, and I went to sleep. But I texted her right now, the morning after, and she's being so cold to me that she even said she doesn't want to talk. Please help :'( |
Question: I feel like a loser do you think I am why or why not? Details below? Posted: 27 May 2016 12:29 AM PDT I'm 21 I live in my parents basement I am currently on summer break from college where I study business administration and I recently got a job at lowes but i haven't started yet bc my background check hasn't come in and I'm an introvert and like to keep to myself so I often times stay up all night playing video games with friends online reading or watching TV. Occasionally I will go fishing hunting or out to a bar with my dad and his friends. I also enjoy spending time with my family and pets. I don't talk to girls besides a good friend of mine. I often times feel like a loser but also I think I may be a bit hard on myself. |
Question: Did I do the right thing? Posted: 27 May 2016 12:24 AM PDT My friend, his family, and I are working overseas in a Chinese company. For him and his family, there was a problem back home that requires them to return. They had borrowed a lot of money from the company, some people in the city, and myself. The company wants to make sure it gets its money back, so it talked with me about getting their kid's birth certificates to 'hold' until the money comes through. Instead I told my friend and his family the plan. My friend is angry at me, because he thinks I am part of the plan. The company doesn't know yet, but when they do find out they will be very angry with me. The local friends will also be angry with me as well. Of course, I wanted my money back too (it is quite a lot) -- but holding the identity of kids 'hostage' until the payment arrives feels very wrong. I feel like either I would have back-stabbed my friend from the states if I kept my mouth shut and not gotten involved, but also I am back-stabbing the company and local people by telling him what they were planning to do. In my heart, I feel that protecting the kids is worth more than getting my money back. Only thing is, they owe money to many more people than just me. Did I do the right thing? |
Question: Even though this has already been resolved things still don't feel right between us.? Posted: 26 May 2016 11:48 PM PDT one night before I masturbated to my friends photo and I made the mistake of looking for one and I accidently liked an old photo at 1 am. I still masturbated to her that night. as a result of accidentally liking here photo I got unfriended. Then once I realized I was unfriended I freaked out and blocked her and then she blocked me back and I unfollowed and blocked her on tumblr deleted our old conversations on messenger. A few days later I apologized through tumblr and told her how she hurt me and we both explained that we both panicked/freaked out. Then she told me because of her chronic pain she had memory problems and her memory problems are awkward so she didn't tell anyone and she barely remembers me from the time we spent together at the college we were attending. Also she said my contacting her was stressful when I was only trying to get to know her better and keep in touch because through our messenger conversations I learned why she had to leave school and I feel as though we bonded over so much stuff. So we unblocked each other and refriended each other on facebook and I told her I will never contact her again but she still hasn't followed me on tumblr again and I don't think she ever will and I'm the slightest bit worried about how things are gonna be between us when she returns to school and I'm worried about our online friendship and our IRL friendship. App opinions especially female are appreciated By resolve I mean handled but I still could use the help. |
Posted: 26 May 2016 11:42 PM PDT I just had a huge argument with my best friend because this girl that I've known for way longer than my best friend (we used to be best friends) I talked about on and off for the year. Sometimes we would be friends and then sometimes we weren't and my best friend and I would talk about her. Though she was being really stuck up and boastful. When I had an argument with my best friend I went over to this girl and started talking to her, my best friend was so angry but I noticed this girl was actually being really nice. I talked more and walked home with her then I went home and got heaps of hate messages from my best friend swearing at me calling me fake, horrible person and more. I'm now friends with this girl and not my best friend. Am I fake? |
