Question: Could I get full custody? Posted: 29 May 2016 08:21 PM PDT My husband has 3 kids from a previous marriage and is about 19K behind in child support. We have a daughter and I m thinking about divorcing him. I would like to get full custody, I know he won t pay me child support either. So far I pay for almost all my daughter s needs. I don t like his style of life in general but I want him around since my daughter loves him. I don t want him to make decision for her. Also my husband takes amphetamines for ADD and had a doctor prescribed his daughter and 15 yr old son with amphetamines, I m afraid he will do that the same in the future with our daughter which of course I disagree. |

Posted: 29 May 2016 07:37 PM PDT I don't want my mom to know just how bothered I am, by the divorce. I know it's for the best, so I don't want her to feel bad. So please, if you have any tips on how to make it less obvious I was crying really hard that'd be awesome! |
Question: How can I tell if my husband is gay? Posted: 29 May 2016 07:29 PM PDT We were listening to music and was partially nude. I started dancing and got no attention but on the music video living on the edge by Aerosmith every time it showed the man dressed up as a woman he looked up at her. Coincidence? I don't know.. |

Question: Is this normal conduct when planning a wedding? Posted: 29 May 2016 07:12 PM PDT Our wedding is 4 weeks away and my fiance keeps asking me questions like "You will be a good wife?" "You won't ever leave me?" "We will not have a sexless marriage?" "You will not stop caring about making me happy once we are married, will you?" "You will still take care of me when I'm sick forever?" And he constantly says "It'll be weird to get married" "it's crazy that we're going to be married..." and sometimes he gets temperamental when discussing the wedding planning but other times he's super pumped for it. He also sometimes says he has to marry me because he can't live without me and he thinks I'll leave him if he doesn't (I remind him he shouldn't get married out of fear) but other times says he does want to be married.. is this a normal case of cold feet or am I gonna be a jilted bride??? |
Question: Do most women hate traditional, heterosexual, "same-race" marriages? Posted: 29 May 2016 06:38 PM PDT It seems to me that before "progressive feminist extremism" developed, that marriages were typically heterosexual bonds, between two people with similar/same ethnic backgrounds. Oddly but to no surprise, many of the old marital bonds were longer lasting, than many marriages of this era. Why do you suppose the divorce rates are so high today? |
Question: How do you cope following a break-up or divorce to a long-term relationship? Posted: 29 May 2016 06:12 PM PDT I just ended a 4 year relationship a month ago. I was IN LOVE with this man. I'm very early 30s and he's late 30's. We're both successful college grads -really no reason not to be engaged and planning a wedding after four years. He kept saying, "i'm not ready right this moment, but it'll happen when the time is right" and refused to even give an timeline. It KILLED me to end things, but in my heart I knew after 4 years I should already be engaged at the least not still waiting with no timeline. I knew I could find myself in the same position in another few years and waste two more years. Now I'm trying to find myself. I was so busy with juggling work and grad school that I really had no time for friends -he was my only friend. Although I'm proud of myself for making the decision to walk away from a man that was dragging out marriage, I still feel sad and extremely lonely. Its been a month so far. I'm just wondering how others cope. Share how you coped after a divorce or long term relationship. |
Question: Why i'm not marriage material for them? Posted: 29 May 2016 05:58 PM PDT Guys say i'm a very interesting woman, but when it comes to engagement they disappear! it drives me crazy ! |
Posted: 29 May 2016 05:15 PM PDT Am a 31 year old guy that went to college for software engineer. I'm bothered by the fact that I've not once in my entire life experience romance or know what love is. Even the guys i thought were hopeless met a woman that liked them but as for me, I've always been single throughout my life and it's not by choice. My friends talk about their experiences with women including sex and it bugs me so much that i haven't even had my first kiss at the age of 31. Am a virgin and am always bothering by romantic scenes on movies and on T.V because i feel like i will never experience anything with women. I think about this everyday at work because i see couples everyday and it reminds me of myself and how I never met a woman that's liked me for once in so many years of my life. I feel hopeless and hurt. Living by my self in a 3 bedroom house with my Dog is not easy at all because i don't have a partner and am always imagining how my house would look if i had a family of my own. When i see couples and their family, I think it's a blessing in it's self. My Dog "Jack is all I've got but he cannot substitute a human being. My friends have tried to hook me up but none of the women like me. What can i do? Am 6:1 and weigh 135 pounds just to give you guys an idea of what i look like physically. What can i do at this age? |

Question: Will my wife try to come back? Posted: 29 May 2016 05:02 PM PDT My wife of 10 years and 3 kids (8,6,& 4) recently left me and our 3 kids because she said that we were suffocating her and she needed time away. Well the last night I saw her was when she went out with her girlfriend, supposedly. So, my youngest was running a temp and she normally puts the medicine in different places so I text to ask her where it was and got nothing for about 2 hrs. Then I got a random call from a blocked number telling me my wife was not with her friend. So I started blowing her phone up and asking her where she was but didn t get a response. Then about midnight she sent me this text, "you are blowing up my phone for no reason and asking our friends if I have talked to them, are you crazy, if you think I am coming home your stupid." Well since that night I didn t see or hear from her , no not even to check on her kids and she missed her daughter s birthday, no call or text to our daughter. This really shocked me! So, to make a long story short, I found her 4 HOUSES DOWN SHACKED UP WITH A MUTUAL FRIEND, who he just recently threw his fiancee and baby girl out and then moved my wife in ( I found all this later)! I think they are both on drugs but have no real proof. I ask myself, "how can I love someone that breaks your heart and still love her with every shattered piece"! Will she be back? If so I need to prepare myself! |

Question: What should I do?! How should I feel? How do I control this? Posted: 29 May 2016 10:52 AM PDT Okay, so if I could please just have people who are not going to be rude and judgements only. Aright, I'd like to start out by saying that me and my husband are newly married. We're not old by any means, but we're also not exactly super young either. Anyway, we had his cousin move into our home so that he could get his life turned around a little.l since where we live is more quiet. And since he has moved in, we've done something. And this is where I need people to not be judgmental and harsh. Him and my husband and I have had sex together about 4 times. And just to clarify, the two of them have never touched. But anyway, here's my problem, I think I like the sex better with his cousin. He's "larger" and more aggressive and that's something I like. But I also want to clarify something else, I love my husband and I love having sex with him because it's more passionate and the love is there and it's more intimate and I love it. But I like the physical feeling with his cousin better I think. So I guess my question is, how do I control my urge to keep wanting him like that? |
Posted: 29 May 2016 10:45 AM PDT Obviously, the ideal course would be to pay both. However, when a budget is in place and its down to one or the other, which would be the better choice? Temporarily leave the old accounts to pay off bills before theyre reported, or let the new bolls go to collectioms while payimg off old accounts on my credit report? Which is the less of 2 evils? Is it worse for yoir credit score to leave long-term collection accounts, or have more added on? |

Question: Are emoji's appropriate for 8 year olds? Posted: 29 May 2016 10:28 AM PDT My daughter is 8 and will be 9 this time next year, wife has been talking about getting a phone for her lately. My main concern is how children her age respond to emoji, I know they are popular, part of me worries they will see the emoji too literally and be frightened by the idea of 'chopped off heads'. My wife thinks it is not a problem so I am looking for advice from parents with children who use phones/emoji and if it's effected them emotionally in any way. |

Posted: 29 May 2016 08:21 AM PDT My husband of almost 5 years and I will be divorcing soon. We have two children together - twins - one with special needs. We've already made some informal decisions about alimony (there will be none), division of assets (we've already divided our assets), custody (I will have sole custody), and visitation (he will have visitation). However, we are having some difficulty making a decision about what is fair for child support. Once we come to an agreement, we will sit down and write it out together, then have it formalized by an attorney so it can be filed with the appropriate court and we can file an uncontested divorce. It took a lot of effort to persuade him to come to an agreement for our children's sake, but my family was and still is willing to pay for a contested divorce if necessary. He can't afford an attorney because he has been spending all his income on himself since we separated. Fair enough, that's his business since nothing has been filed, so I'll just let that go if he continues to be amicable about things. His family isn't willing to help him pay for an attorney because our relationship was tumultuous, and it's already been strongly suggested that if this leads to litigation, I'll be granted permanent sole custody and his visitation rights will be *very* limited. Personal stuff. Should I request that our written agreement requires him to report his income to a child support agency on a regular basis, so our children get a fair shake in this financially? Should I still hire an attorney, just in case? I was trying to avoid my family paying the retainer fee for the attorney I still have a scheduled consultation with. The attorney already spoke with me once, and based on the tumultuous nature of the relationship, he stated that I would likely receive permanent sole custody due to special circumstances, and my husband would probably never have overnight visitation, and any visitation would be granted gradually, beginning with supervised visits. My husband believes I am being greedy by expecting him to pay normal child support for our disabled child who will soon be receiving SSI payments. The court wouldn't care about those funds, since our son is ours, not "Uncle Sam's". What percent of the non custodial parent's income is generally paid in child support cases? Can we make a separation agreement that includes everything *except* child support, and let the Division of Child Support Services decide what's fair? I can have this agreement formalized for free, but only if we come to an agreement about everything, including child support. If the agreement states that the Division of Child Support Services will decide, I think that's still an agreement. Thoughts? @ Ryde,0n ... Well that just wasn't nice. Are you paying child support, and feel bitter about it or something? Everything stated sounds fair to me, maybe even more than fair, considering that you don't know the personal details in this situation. Maybe you missed Update #3... sorry if you did. @ Ryde,0n ... Thanks for the update! That's kind of more what I was looking for. I never thought personal details did matter, but he is trying to get me to agree to much less than the state minimum support requirements to avoid litigation, which makes no sense. To be honest, the ball is in my court if it comes to litigation, but I am trying to be amicable about this for the sake of our children. It's always right to do what's fair. If I'm required to report how the support is spent, no worries. I'm not asking for alimony because I have a higher earning capacity and he's only been working for about six months. This is the longest he's held a job in his adult life. I'm not even sure if I can ask for alimony, since I was always the one working prior to some psychological meltdown he had last year. If we make an agreement and it's legally formalized by an attorney, it can be enforced. If he falls behind on support, he can be charged with abandonment, a misdemeanor in the state we live. |

Question: How can I be happy in marriage one day if I marry? Read below? Posted: 29 May 2016 07:55 AM PDT Both my parents are divorced from each other and at least one other pers (Dad divorced twice and Mom four times). I see my father on and off in life and he is the only guy I know besides myself. Both grandfathers had died by the time I was born and I only have sisters. My mother has long spoken of how bad men are. On a daily basis we speak of how blessed I am not to have to be around men. Because of this I just figure I should stay single or I will become bad like these other men. So if I married one day would I be destined to divorce like my parents? My sister is now divorced and both my mother's sisters are divorced. We also had an uncle (Mom's brother) who we don't speak to anymore and he had been divorced twice when we knew him. So should I just never marry? If I did how would I be happy if I am destined for failed marriages like my parents? |

Question: Does a woman living with her fiance have a say in things if she is jobless? Posted: 28 May 2016 10:46 PM PDT Me and my SO recently decided to get an apartment together. I had had my own place, a good steady job, and basically uprooted to move here with him. Now, when we were getting the place my SO decided to also have his best friend live with us. We have our room, he has his. Which i had no problem with. Recently, i lost my job (due to a management mix up, nothing i did), and have been looking for a new job since. Our roommate, (lets call him joe), just got into a relationship with a girl who i dont know, but who is well known for causing problems. She has been staying the night repeatedly (against my wishes because she is a stranger to me and feels like an invasion of my 'safe place') but, i went with it. Now recently joe has been talking about moving his gf in. And he says that I have no say in the matter, or in anything, because i do not have a job and he pays half the rent. Me and my SO are the only ones on the lease, and i also cook and clean for everyone. Opinions? *posting twice to get as much input in the matter as possible. thanks! |

Question: Should I tell my husband this? Posted: 28 May 2016 08:51 PM PDT Basically this is as crazy as it sounds. I ve had an affair with someone I ve known for a long, long time. It has been going on for a short time. I feel so overwhelmed with guilt and self loathing, I plan to kill myself. I need to get my things in order first , as I don t want to burden my family, especially my husband with expenses a d such. I have no children to leave behind, but I do have pets I love more than anything. They will be well cared for. I plan on leaving a note when I go. I ve been suicidal off and on for a long time, so I don t think it will come as much of a shock to some. My question is, should I mention the affair in the note, as my final reasoning for leaving this life? |

The werewolf father doesn't have a problem raising their daughter on his own, having their daughter sleepover her mother's place on the day of the full moon and creating a visitation schedule. Who do you think would also be paying child support? And how much should the amount be? |
