I was snooping on my parents email just to see what they write about me to other people. I saw that my teacher wrote to my parents an hour ago which is very unusual. I wrote a risky letter to them explaining my anxiety and I'm afraid that is part of what the email says. I want to read it so that that blue icon goes away and my parents ignore it in case he is mentioning my letter but if it's not and it was just something important about work, I don't want my parents to know I checked. We're in the same school and she told me once that her mother's boyfriend always shouted at her mom and even hurt her mom. Her mother asked him to leave her house, but he always came back 3 or 4 days later. Last night he came to her house again when my friend was doing homework in her room. Then, she heard he was shouting again and the situation got worse this time. She was afraid that he may beat her mom, so she came out of her room and it seemed that he had already done that. Then she tried to protect her mom and she shouted at him and .... Fortunately, he finally left and thanks god my friend didn't get hurt. I asked her why didn't she call the police. The man knows a lot of information about my friend and he can came back anytime. I don't think her house is safe anymore and I'm so worried about her safety. When I was about 5, my grandparents (from my dad's side) were visiting. At dinner, corn bread was one of our sides. I hated corn bread back then, so I refused to eat it. I didn't throw a fit about it. I just kept saying "no, I don't like it" when they'd tell me to eat it. So my dad told me I was done. He then proceeded to spank me and sent me to my room. She let's the dogs **** everywhere while I'm at school so I come home and clean it up because she just kicks it onto the puppy pad or leaves it there. I eat food that is either packaged or make it myself because she picks at it with her fingers regardless of what it is. She walks around the house in my tank tops in her underwear, she's tall and large and they do not fit her, I'm 5 ft 4 and she's 6 ft 1. so today my sister wore the dress that I bought for myself yesterday. When she came home, I confronted her. She started calling me names and telling me that I would look ugly in the dress. I'm 14. Let me explain the whole back story. Pretty much my parents found my weed, yes I smoke sometimes but not a lot. My ex told cps a bunch of lies about me to get revenge. Cps gave temporary custody to my mom because of these FALSE allegations, and because my ex is abusive and I have let him in when I wasn't supposed to. I have to go to court to try and get my son back. What should I tell the judge? Will he take my son away over drama between me and his dad? I'm a good mother and they have no reason to believe I'm abusing or neglecting my son..

Ever since I was little, my dad would promise me that we would go swimming or go to the pictures and it never happened. About 5 years ago he promised me we would go up snowdon (the Mountain) and im still waiting. Not long after that though he promised me he d take me on a boat ride on the river and since then weve been to the river many times and when I ask him he just says he has no money, everything. He even says this when I ask him if we can go to Liverpool and he promises but never does anything. My mom "accidentally" puts my underwear in my sister's laundry and my sister wears it knowing thats it's mine. This guy I met in an OCD support group helped me a lot when I was going through a hard time with my OCD, and we became friends. But now, I feel like he's just toxic. We developed feelings for each other a while back, but now I have lost interest and he's not really getting it. He still talks about "our future" and wants to make me move to another state to live around him and his family. He constantly talks trash about my family - I have no idea why he would think that is acceptable. I am having issues with my family, as they have been nasty to me at times because they can't handle my OCD, but I still love them. He has even said his parents probably love me more than my own do and that they are better people than my parents. He has said they are my family too and I should call his parents "mom" and "dad" but they are NOT my mom and dad, they are strangers and I couldn't care less about them. His parents are losers in my eyes. No one in his family works - they're all on disability. They have medical conditions but could work if they wanted to - they instead choose to live off of the government. His mother got arrested for shoplifting a few years ago, and he acts like the guy who caught her is just evil, as she was just doing what she needed to do to support her family. His dad regularly went to hookers before meeting his mom. I'm sorry, but those are not what I consider better people than my parents. i ended my 3rd quarter with and my teacher told me i had to pass my exam and 4th quarter, i didnt and she called my parents, and they have grounded me for the whole summer, i have to go to a tutor. How can I get my parents to unground me?

Hi! My parents used to be really poor when they were kids, and worked really hard to get to where they are today. My parents drive really nice cars (Mercedes and BMW) and my mom has purses worth over $1000, as do I. My dad has shirts that cost over $100 and my sister and I both have multiple expensive purses. My sisters prom dress costed $300, her shoes $50 (we got a good deal) spray tan for $40 (which looks REALLY natural) and is getting her hair done for $30. I live in a fairly large house, and have a lot of nice furniture. I know that stuff doesn't come easily and I know that my parents work really hard. I know I don't NEED this stuff, but my parents give it to me because they didn't have it when they were younger and because they want me to have it. Am I spoiled?

My sister never goes out of her house. She likes to go to work, but when she comes home she stays home, only goes out for walks on her own and for shopping like groceries or for candles, even not for clothes. Im 12 years old, the oldest of 4. My little sister, who is nine, has a serious issue. Well, first allow me to back up. When she was first born, I was ecstatic to become a big sister. I imagined that I would care for her,play with her, and make sure nothing happened to her, because that's what I learned from my mom and Dora. At first, we were best of friends. Then, in 2011 when my mom had her third child with my stepdad, I was 7 going on 8, and she was 4 going on 5. Before anyone says that is very irresponsible, I was given those privleges at that age as well. I enjoyed playing Dora and getting on Abcya. I am now going to 7th grade with straight A's and I may be able to skip the 7th grade. She became addicted to watching youtube and I tried to play with her, but she was in awe with technology. I apparently couldn't play with my baby brother, so I did the only thing I knew to do; I read books. I read every book in my house in 6 months, and then the next year we were allowed to check out books. I don't want to avoid her. She is my sister and I will always love her even though she can make me feel like killing myself sometimes.

Summer break just started. My mom immediatley wants me to do ******* math problems and join a robotics team, both of which i have absolutely no interest in. I m an only child. But I have tons of cousins from half aunts and uncles and they almost all have siblings. I was my grandmother s favorite, (I say was because she recently passed away), I have a different grandpa than them and I m well loved by my great grandparents. Basically my brother is 26 (nearly 27) years old and he still acts like a teenage boy. Over the years he has barely spoke to me or my parents but he still lives with us. I feel like I must be looked at poorly. All of my mother's family hates my Dad. My Dad's family is not to happy with my mother either but they don't talk about it around me as much. Some of the stuff I don't think he can help and I know drug addiction is a disease so I feel wrong being mad at him as it would be like being mad at a diabetic for having diabetes. Hi, i got a problem, that sometimes when I get angry i just ... i feel like i lose control, not like I would kill somebody or get into a fight for no reason, but I have broken a lot of things for now. I jsut need to hit something. Last time I was mad at my sister so I went to her room and made her room such a mess (Do be honest I had a reason to be mad). I have punched my computer when it loads for hundred years and so. Should I go to doctor?

It is my mother's cousin and her son (so my second cousins). My mother has cursed (not literal curse) the descendants of her maternal grandfather who didn't leave her mother anything in his estate. She feels her mother was hurt and thus it is her duty to carry on the grudge. The grandfather left the estate to his four sons and not the one daughter. He also was critical of her for who she married according to legend. So now, 28 years after his death and 40 years after the issues, my mother continues to carry this grudge. Anyone associated with her brothers is an enemy. She admits some of the descendants may be good people but says she does not want a relationship with any of them. Whereas her mother's mother's family she loves and is friends with (yet they have multiple divorce drama, alcoholism, a messy infidelity divorce with kids involved, and a suicide). So now I am in trouble because I Facebook friended this person from the "enemy clan". How in the world do I get my mother off my back or do I just tell this distant relative "I am sorry but my mother has a grudge because you have an ancestor she dislikes so I have to defriend you"? I don't want to be mean to this person because my mother has a problem with something that happened before I was even born and someone who has been dead since I was a newborn. I should add my mother's mother says she has long forgiven this and that the only thing that hurts her is the divisions it has caused.

I'm a 15 year old girl and ever since I was younger it's been one thing after another. From 3 til 8 I watched my mother get abused by my stepfather. I got worse the two times she was pregnant with my brothers because he only wanted daughters. I watched him almost kill her many times and his family all help him. I ended with me calling the cops on him when I watched my mother almost miscarry from a beating. Afterwards there was a battle for her to get full rights of my brothers. I never said anything though because I had to be tough for my mom in her time of need. Bad things happened in between but the next one was when my sister got bullied really badly and almost died from the stress. I finally worked up my nerves to tell my mom about the bullying after my sister but my mom said she didn't believe me and later I heard her telling someone about it on the phone....it destroyed my trust in her. Then my mom took in a lady who needed help and my sister abandoned me for the lady's daughter. We used to be really close but ever since then we haven't really spoken a lot. Then I finally had a good father figure and my aunt like him and got into bed with him naked while he was sleeping. My mom and him broke up after that and I lost the only male figure in my life. My mom took back my sister after a while and her and the lady had a falling out. Now the lady's daughter lives with us because she abandoned her...I also got a scholarship once but I lost it... Those are just a couple of the many problems I've faced but recently I realized I hate myself.... I have a fear of men, social anxiety and depression. I hate how I disappoint people and how worthless I am in situations. I also hate how ugly and stupid I am and I'm tired of feeling this way. I want to learn to love myself and to smile. If not for me then my baby brothers who don't deserve this horrible sister that they have. I just want to see them smile at me and be able to smile back without having to cry in the bathroom later.

My mother keeps refusing for me to take my son with me. Can she file for custody behind my back if I am in the process of moving out, but not take him with me right away if i am making sure i have everything ready before i move him in with me?

My daughter has been married for about 5 years. At first she would said she would NEVER give up time with her family which included my mother, sisters and brother. Well now she spends every holiday with her husbands family, they do cook outs, go out to dinner, celebrate Grand parents day with his side of the family but not ours. They will go on vacations with his family twice a year but they refuse to go with ours of course his family pays for everything. When they are invited to our family events she may or may not show up and she doesn't stay long. Her husband will not come. My mother is 80 years old and would like to see her grand daughter and now great grand daughter but my daughter refuses to go around. She has been to visit her twice since December. She always has his parents baby sit, I have done it twice in the 20 months she has been born. I think this man is controlling her and to be honest is abusive in some ways. She has cried to me about how mean he is, he wants it his way all the time, he has cut off the cable they only have Hulu, he bought the cars that he wanted, she has to ask if she can put stuff on Facebook. She tells me that my mother talks down to her, my mom is verbal and does come across wrong but my daughter never had a problem with her until her husband came along.

My little sister and brother are graduating this year. My little sis is graduating 5th grade while my brother is graduating the 8th. I know what I'll be getting for my sis lol girls are easy but goys are tough. What do 14 year old kids like?

Me and my boyfriend had a baby we've together for 5 years, before the baby was born we both agreed we were going to live at my house because my parents moved out of our old house into a 2 story house , they did that for us and the baby. He agreed that we live at my house because my parents gave us the master bedroom since we had a baby . He said we would live here because the room is big enough with a bathroom . That's the only reason my parents gave us this room cus we agreed to live here . He got mad today and left because he said we need to be equal and stay at his moms house too he said if I don't stay at his moms with him that we were going to be over and not be together anymore . He said for us to stay weekdays at my house and weekends at his moms . Do you think I should do it or just take care of my daughter on my own? She's my first baby I'm confused and lost he's making it difficult for me and he argues about it too much making me stress out I want my daughter stable I don't want her going back and forth but he's not giving me a choice

Long story short I met john sophomore year he was a freshman. (Last year) He offered to walk me to class every day bc my vision wasn't good, it's a lot better now. We started talking, I knew his mom, we get along so great. He was so loving, sweet. He had took me to a football game, he said that me being visually impaired didn't faze him, He still thought I was the most beautiful sweetest girl. I liked him so much! He liked me just as much! We got really close, we had our very first movie night & got even closer! Held hands. All was perfect, we were so close to dating! no problems!.. Then 1 week came where he completely stopped all communication. He stopped walking me talking to me I don't know what happened. it stopped all at once, I figured it was the anniversary week of sisters death from 2 years ago & he just didn't want to talk to anyone at all. But for about a year he didn't talk to me & he blocked me on social media. I never knew why not even his best friend knew why he was acting like that. I am now a junior & he is a sophomore, this year I gave him a candy cane for Christmas with a nice letter, he loved it! He gave me the biggest hug & ive never seen him so happy! He is very sweet still and loving, I recently added him as a friend more than sure that he wouldn't accept it, but he did!!! I'm just wondering what do you think was wrong or why he did that. Ive always wondered and still do, part of me wonders why he would accept it after a whole year of silence

For as long as I can remember, my dad has been hurting me. It started off as punishment but then it got worse. It got to the point where he would beat me into a pulp simply for making eye contact. He's tormented me over the years. He's burned, starved, kicked, and punched me. You name it and he's done it. He's put me into the hospital several times. Recently, it's been getting bad again. The other day he threw me into the wall because I coughed too loudly. I'm so scared of him. I'm scared to get help. It just made it worse last time. My mom is dead and I've tried telling my older brother but he wouldn't listen. I want my dad to stop. I can't take it anymore. I need him to stop hurting me. I'm so scared to tell.
