I am the only kid in the sport i do(in my part of town at least). So making friends threw a sport wont really work. Posted: 13 May 2016 04:37 PM PDT So get this straight..I have like one friend..I m really really quiet in school but I m not shy whatsoever..ill take on whoever comes onto me and I m not popular at all.I m female 5 5 Iwear pretty much the same thing to school every day and I wear my hair in a high ponytail everyday..I don t wear makeup and idk if I d be considered ugly or not So I was on the bus today and I sit alone in my seat..a bunch of popular girls sit around my seats but the girls are all nice,so this kid from the back seat (he s also very popular) came up to the seat directly behind me and started talking to the girls around me.. They are talking and laughing in their own business..so a few seconds later he starts leaning over my seat so his face is like right next to mine and he s like leaning back and forth and then continues talking to the girls and all..then he looks toward me (I m looking out the window but I know he is looking) he then gets really close like legit 2-4 inches from my face and I can literally see every detail on his face) he then does that eyebrow raise thing (where you like raise your eyebrows two times real quick..idk what it s called) and he just like looks at me in eyes and does absolutely nothing..so I ask "do you want something" almost as if he's surprised I talked and he doesn't say anything and sits back in his seat..the girls just say to him like "don t make her uncomfortable" "look how uncomfortable she islooks because of you" to defend me.. What was he trying to do?? |

I tell my friends how I feel and I get straight to the point. I see through peoples lies and I call them out on it. I told my friend at lunch one day that I didn't want to hurt her feelings but she was being a whore. I also told my other friend that she was giving mixed signals to guys and that she fell in love to easily and that she was going to get hurt and/or hurt someone else. Now they think I'm a mean person. They always tell me that I'm real and pretty but mean and rude. Basically I'm asking am I being rude? Should I try telling people the truth in a different way? |

It seems like every year since I started school (had to transfer lots of times due to new jobs, e.t.c.), there's always one person who decides to pick me out of a crowd and essentially make my life miserable, even when I did nothing wrong to them. First is a group of girls, who were my so called "friends" do whatever they can to make my life miserable. Last year they basically made me do their homework for them and waited until a particular Friday to tell me that they didn't want to be friends with me anymore. Since then, all they do is glare at me and talk about me behind my back or insult me directly to my face. Oh, and whenever I go into one of their "bathrooms", walking past them, in front of them, behind them, or if they come in, they want to act pissy and irritated and murmur "Oh my god", as if they don't want me to be there, or if they're just irritated at my presence. How do they think I feel about them? Oh, and there's also a boy who loves insulting me and making me feel like complete and utter sh*t. He calls me ugly (and trust me, he's not being playful about it either; he actually means it), a stupid b*tch, and whatever else you can think of. He does this to other girls in my class and in other classes (some being my friends). He gets suspended more often than not, but no matter of consequences will change the fact that he hates my guts. How can I survive the rest of the year? |

I asked him why's he's upset but he refused to tell me and told me to leave him alone. I have shoes from Nike, Jordans, creative recs , Gucci and Ralph Lauren. I currently have 57. All of my devices are from Apple,(because they are obviously better (iPhone 6s plus, 3 macbooks, 5 ipads with customized cases, 7 iPods, an apple watch, and an imac.) 112 inch tv(I know it's a bit small, but if still counts right?) 3 pairs of beats, all customized, if course (beeats pro, studio and solo 2, both wireless), and don't bother saying they are overpriced crap because f you stop working at Walmart, they won't be. Posted: 13 May 2016 12:53 PM PDT I spend all week trying to make plans with my "friends" and they either say they can t or they end up canceling plans that day. I haven t hung out with anyone in the last few weeks of my life. Behind my back everyone calls me annoying and say they hate me but I really don t talk much besides if I ever try to make a joke of some sort. People hardly ever laugh at my jokes either, even if it s the same joke someone else said that everyone laughed at. I ve tried changing my approach and personality a lot of times but the results end up the same. I have friends who want to hang out if I ask for a couple weeks then are either too busy or don t answer afterwards. I talk to a lot of people over SnapChat and texting but none of them ever hang out with me. No matter how hard I try I can never make plans, even with approaches where I don t bother them about it. Though I m very insecure about my looks at sometimes I don t think this is why because I ve been told I m really attractive by a lot of people and don t have a problem getting a girlfriend. People never invite me to group chats or group events EVER. I ll occasionally be invited to do stuff with a friend if they re bored but very rarely. I m a 15 year old male freshman with no true friends that are my gender who want to hang out regardless of what I do. Please tell me what I can do or just help me. This had led to me being constantly depressed and getting panic attacks in the middle of school and at home. Thank you |

E has to do it about his dad, except that things have happened between him and is dad. It has been really hard for him to write right about, and the teacher didn't help at all. The teacher told him to redo the whole thing. Except that the poem was four pages long. So, he's mad at the teacher, too. I told him not to do anything that he would regret, but he said it was too late. Today I found out that he has been cutting himself, and I'm really worried about him. I used to be going through the same thing, but he help me get through it without doing anything I would regret. I'm trying to help him get through it, but I really don't know how. I've tried telling that his friends are always there for him, and that we always will be, and that we love him. But it isn't helping. I really don't know what to do. Any advice? Also, he said it's not only the poem, but he's totally sick of being pushed around and bullied his whole life. |

He was never going to tell me, but decided to because it was bothering him. My guy friend has said he would do it, and he is not interested in me beyond friendship. He dates other women and treats me like a friend. My husband is backing out now saying he doesn t understand why I want to slee with someone else so badly..part of me thinks it s not fair that he got to and I can t. We have been together for 9 years. I love him and will not leave him. Should I drop this idea or tell my husband that he shouldn t have a day since I didn t? If I went through with this, I would never do it again. |
| Question: My crush declined my friend request on Facebook? Posted: 13 May 2016 11:51 AM PDT So I started having a crush on this guy a few weeks ago who goes to another school and doesn't know I exist, also no mutual friends on fb. But the other day my friend who only has 1 mutual friend with him added him and he accepted within 2 minutes. So my friend pressured me into sending him a request by saying it's just one click and i'm going to regret it if i don't, then i finally gathered up the courage and sent him a friend request. I left my phone unattended for 20 minutes cause i was really anxious, but when i checked, the "add friend" button is grayed out on my phone, it's not present on the computer either. Like the only options are the follow the message button, i unfollowed him since fb automatically followed him when i sent the request. I went on another friend's account and the "add friend" button is there for her, is this just some fb glitch or did he block me? I don't get why he added my friend but not me. So yeah, now I know he declined my friend request so now idk if i can add him ever back again, i really wanna meet up with him and be his friend but idk how to get in touch with him. :( |
| Question: Way too shy and zero confidence? Posted: 13 May 2016 11:48 AM PDT at school i always start to stutter when i have to talk infront alot of people and i always talk way too quiet. i wish i would be that loud,open and confident girl but i am always so quiet, shy and insecure.. i know that i was always rather quiet but when i was younger i really liked being in the center of attention but now i get so embarassed when a lot of people look at me. which is wierd bc i like the attention but get so uncomfortable once have it. i also dont have many friends, never had a boyfriend in my 18 years and always sit at home. i am also a bit insecure about my looks bc i have a few pounds too much. i feel like i let myself go because although i always go through fashion blogs and watch makeup tutorials, i still go to school bare faced with just some sweatshirt and jeans.. i know this extremly popular girl and everyone knows her(vise versa), she just talks to strangers and dances and shouts in front of other people and doesnt care. we arent really close, just go clubbing together but she is so much fun to hang out with and i am just so envious of that. she once uploaded a picture of us with another friend in the club and i noticed just how insecure i looked in that picture>.< i looked like a plain jane and i hated it. i really want to change |
| Posted: 13 May 2016 11:43 AM PDT OK. Hi. My name is Jimmy. I can't stop thinking about death. Through a seriously traumatic event, I have become a terrible and twisted person. My spiel is kinda sorta dark and dramatic. It talks about who I was before the event, talks about what happened during the event, how I have drastically changed into an incredibly ugly person beyond belief, how much I wish I was dead, how twisted I feel, and how I'm in the dilemma of wanting to take the same confidence program that got me into a psychotic episode (I think the way I used it was flawed, not the program itself), but I want to be good and I feel like I'm stabbing morality and God (yes, I believe in God) in the back for doing so. I'm thinking about reaching out to about five people on Facebook as to why, but I'm not so sure I should. I made a list of eight people I could potentially talk to. Most of them I'm kinda not too close to anymore or at all, but some said they'd help me if I ever needed it and others I kinda have respect for. However, part of my spiel includes why I also wanted to commit suicide over what happened with this girl 2 of them are very close friends with though that's FAR from the main reason why I'm suicidal). I feel my family wouldn't be as helpful in this matter, and it's taking a while to find a counselor. I'm kinda desperate for someone to listen to me and guide me. I thought five people to talk to would be good, but with everything I have to say about myself I feel like it's risky. What do I do? This is a repost but I feel like I need more helpful answers to make my decision. Also, just want to stress that most of these options are people who I've either lost a good amount of contact with or who I'm not very close with but they're something like my RA. Or I just find them very respectable. I appreciate taking your time to read this. |

He laughed at my jokes, smiled, and asked me ques. I got the vibe he was into me. Today he stayed in class during break, so I couldn't get him alone outside. But he smiled when I walked into class, and answered me when I asked if a seat was taken. I saw him staring at me during class too. Why didn't he talk to me more though? |

Posted: 13 May 2016 11:33 AM PDT Friend A and friend B are really good friends but they don't see that these girls are hurting me...these girls bullied me before and took away someone very important to me... I have friend C as well but she's leaving this year.. Friend A and B are part of the school clubs that those mean girls also attend...those girls are not mean anymore but I can't forgive them for what they put me though they made my ex best friend hate me and they set me up.... yet A and B know the history with all of this but they still don't get the hint that I'm emotionally hurt....those mean girls tried taking away friend C from me but friend C walked away with me instead and so did Friend A but friend B remained behind... today friend A and B were showing me pictures of them with those mean girls in the same club... I got upset and left them and walked away... did I do the right thing? and how can I let them know it's hurting me? |

Posted: 13 May 2016 11:24 AM PDT I had a friend for several years(a female) , were not friends anymore but we always would debate about if it was ok for a girl to fart. She was 35. She said is not ok for a woman to fart even if its an emergency. Its just something that should never be done. She said if i farted she would never talk to me again and loose respect . Well who cares now but...She said she never farted around anyone her entire life and never is going to . She is not lying to me with that. I told her if its an emregency or accident , its fine to fart. She said NEVER. She also said that she will never and had never went #2 in public. She only goes in her own home.. And another thing....i had known her for 2 years and she forbid me to go #2 in her house. Now you see why we arent friends anymore. Is this behavior normal? Is she correct about all 3 things? Posted: 13 May 2016 10:40 AM PDT hi guys yesterday i went to this empty field that no one owned and i went there and began practicing football i am 16 and i am the strongest one in class in arm wrestling. i had my 12 year old friend with me. i was playing with him until 5 guys appeared passing by the street they saw me and began approaching the field i thought they wanted to play with us. i was like that ok why not let them play with us. so they came and they told me that i look so dumb playing football i like told them that they weren't funny. when i told them that they began climbing the fence and approaching me. my expectations said to me that 2 of them were 14 one 15 and two others 12 . i like said now i m in trouble and i didnt know what to do i was so confused. they left my 12 year old friend and approached me they began pushing me back and then i like tried to talk in a careful way cause seriously if i hit any of them the others would beat me up so quick they were 5 vs me only they began hitting me harder. i then pushed them all away and began to run with my friend they began following me. the guy that looked 15yearsold caught me and i like thought if i didnt run from the guy they would all catch me and beginto hit me badly. so i hit that guy in the face and ran away and i thankfully found a man out there and i told him to help me. he stopped them and told them to go home and i began running away with my friend though theydidnt approach my friend. i am 5'6 tall and 67 kg why.do.people.think.i.am.weak |
| Question: What should I do about my daughter's friends? Posted: 13 May 2016 10:25 AM PDT My 15 year old daughter likes to have her friends from school sleep over at our house from time to time. The last time she had a sleep over, the girls asked me to answer their questions about boys and sex. I told them they should talk to their parents about that. They told me they COULD NOT talk to their parents about that because it would be too embarrassing. They begged me to tell them about boys and sex. I thought it was better that they know the facts about their bodies than believe all the stuff they hear at school. I answered all of their questions truthfully but I again told them in the STRONGEST POSSIBLE TERMS to TALK TO THEIR PARENTS. They wanted to know if they could call me if they had more questions. I told them it would be MUCH BETTER if they talked to their parents but I would VERY RELUCTANTLY answer their questions. Please tell me if I am doing the right thing here. I feel VERY UNCOMFORTABLE doing this as I think it is the parents responsibility but I don't want any pregnant teens either. Is it better they know the facts about their body? Should I talk to their parents and tell them what their children are asking me? I do not want to be known as the neighbor sex educator. I am afraid that it I talk to their parents, they will be afraid to ask me about factual information about their bodies. Teens girls, is it normal not to want to talk to your parents about sex? |
| Question: Do we have the best boss EVER? Posted: 13 May 2016 10:23 AM PDT I work in an office with 31 other people, mostly women. Most of us are single moms. We got a new boss 6 months ago who was only 27 and single. He has proved to be a great boss. Our old boss was fat, ugly, married and hit on every female that worked for him married or not. We were so happy to see him go. We had a going away party AFTER he left. We have all been working very hard on a project for the last month. It involved a lot of overtime at nights and weekends. We completed the project on time and everyone was happy. Our new boss told us he could not give us a raise but he converted a room to a beauty salon. It is open at noon, after work hours and on Saturday and everything was FREE for the employees. It was something we all very much appreciated, especially us single moms. It will save us a lot of money and is so convenient. We were very surprised as who would have thought a 27 year old single guy would know how much we gals would appreciate this. The two guys in the office complained that we gals were getting better treatment than they were. The boss told them they could use the beauty shop if they wanted to. Us gals think the guys just like to complain. What do you think? Also do you think we have the best boss in the world? |

He is a 29 year old GREAT looking single guy. We enjoy coming to work mainly because of our boss. He sees that we are well paid and never gets mad at us when we screw up. We love to joke around with him and he loves for us to do it. For example, one of us ask him if he hired us for our boob size of or IQs. He said "You have IQs"? We all had a good laugh at that. Employees from other departments that know about our actions with our boss tell us he is sexually harassing us. Is he? |
