Now I've almost adapted a **** it attitude and try to brush my thoughts off. But sometimes it doesn't work. I couldn't hold a steady job and only worked a few months over 2 years and still live at home and spent all my time with my mom. Now I have social anxiety and don't like going out much. It doesn't help my face broke out and I have some new acne marks...from perfect skin to now it really hurts my self esteem. But I start a new job soon and am hoping to turn everything around. I don't want to really date or loose my virginity. I feel like it's my body and I don't need a man barging in on it. But sometimes I want to be held and cuddle and sometimes I just want left alone lol. I'm not asexual. I just don't want to have short relationships. Over time I started to develop feelings for her but I kept it to myself for a while. We had a week long break in February and after we got back she started acting cold/rude towards me for some reason. So a few weeks after that I confessed my feelings for her and she said she only saw me as a friend and admitted to knowing, hence why she was acting the way she did earlier but I felt she could have dealt with it another way instead of being rude if she knew. She said she didnt like me hiding my feelings and should have been honest with her and stuff like that. So after that we kind of worked things out and became close again but I was still upset about the way she treated me just because I liked her so i started to distance myself from her. We would hang out, but i would keep the convos short and work on my assignments and that would upset her that I wasnt paying attention to her. She would also expose her cleavage in front of me, play with her hair and stuff like that to get me to talk but when I didnt she got up and left. When we were in class she started flirting with a close friend of mine and pretended like i didmt exist. By then i was already tired of her stupid games and completely shut her out, which is when she started texting me again. I replied at first keeping the convos short then just stopped replying to her. I want to end our friendship but I dont know if its because im bitter or she isnt worth keeping around as a friend. So every time I text her she always responds on the first few texts and replies in a friendly/positive manner. I assume this is her being uninterested in talking so I usually don't text her again for several days/weeks. Because texting isn't really working and I still barely know her I've tried asking her out to some of my school events once or twice and she said she would love to go but was busy the first time which was a Thursday night sports game, and a dance which called to ask her. She told me a few days later that she couldn't go and she seemed to feel really bad about not being able to come. She told me her parents supposedly didn't feel comfortable with her going because it was a junior senior dance I asked her to and she's just a freshman. Finally and more recently I asked her a week ahead of time if she wanted to go out next weekend to do something and I never got a response so I didn't text her for 2.5 weeks. I tried texting her again after this for the first time since this and got pretty much the same results as before. What do I do? He told me he was sorry since he knew that I was expecting him to ask me and everyone thought that he would ask me too. I didn't really care because I never expected him to ask me and I wasn't planning on attending prom anyways. What annoyed me he asked other people to take me to prom without talking to me about it. I sound like I'm desperate to go with someone when I'm not even going at all. After we texted a while I started getting more annoyed and frustrated, but I'm not sure why. Is it because I'm jealous? |
