Question: What to do when your friend is being assertive? Posted: 10 May 2016 04:57 PM PDT So my friend is kind of bossy. She talks back to her parents all the time, and sometimes to people, too. So I didn't come to school today, and I'm not going to school tomorrow. She told me to come, and I said it's my decision. Then she started with the "You don't care, but it would be nice to see you," crap. Like seriously, I see her at school every friggen day! She can be very assertive sometimes (*Cough* Mainly all the time *Cough*) She's like "We're not gonna see each other in high school, and you never want to come over, so." Like seriously ! I can decline going to her house, sometimes I just don't feel like it. And then I told her (NICELY) that she can be assertive sometimes, and she just said like whatever bye. She can push me to do something sometimes. And also, she makes no sense sometimes! She's my bff, but sometimes she can be a handful/very annoying.
Question: My friend invited one of her friends over to my house? Posted: 10 May 2016 04:49 PM PDT So I made plans with my 2 best friends to come over to my house so we could get ready for prom together (I m a sophomore but my school is so small they let all of high school go). My parents are also driving us to the venue. Well one of my friends invited someone else to tag along because that friends plan got cancelled. I know the girl and we ve talked a little, but I really don t know her that well. I guess I d be fine with her coming over its just really awkward, especially cuz my parents were are driving us. What should I do?
Question: What kind of girl is this? Posted: 10 May 2016 04:38 PM PDT The girls that I keep running into has a group of friends that they do everything with, They are immature and don't care about anybody's feelings but will support the group that they always hang with, They normally hang with the kind of guys that beats people up, What kind of girl is this?
Posted: 10 May 2016 04:32 PM PDT My weed dealer stole my money (physically) (and it was $160) and my friends pipe by getting my friend super stoned then taking it home (we saw him with the same pipe the other day). Are my revenge plans too harsh? (which one should I do) - I have someone in my neighborhood who has laced weed, and I was gonna sell it to my dealer and get my money back that he's gonna pay me with. - Jump him and steal a stash or any pipes or somethin he has on him (idk about this one cuz it's the same thing he kinda did to me) Please let me know if u have anything I could do! I confronted him about it but he said he will buy me weed with my money but it's been 1 week... And please don't say to call the police and so on and please don't say that I shouldn't be smoking. Thank you!
Question: Jealous friend, what's the deal? Posted: 10 May 2016 04:31 PM PDT A friend tried to set me up with one of her friends for a few of weeks. I declined, finally she convinced me to join them on skype while playing games. The guy seems pretty cool to play games with and chat. So he added me and we've been chatting some. And now shes being super jealous, getting mad at us for talking to eachother etc, him adding me on facebook, just crazy absurd jealousy especially from an adult, and especially after trying to set us up. Any thoughts on what is happening? Please note, she does have her own boyfriend.
Question: What to do when your best friend cries? Posted: 10 May 2016 04:23 PM PDT I have a lot of friends and I'm always the one they go to when they need to cry. I guess I'm trustworthy or nice? I'm a bit hard but oh well. They trust me and they cry with me but I don't know what to do or say when they cry. I just freeze up.
Question: Am I popular or unpopular in high school? Posted: 10 May 2016 04:15 PM PDT Some people smile and laugh with me but the girls get mad at me and tell me I'm creepy and they tell me that their lesbians when I talk to them.
Question: How do I make friends? Posted: 10 May 2016 04:14 PM PDT I am 20 years old, I have been told I am one of the easiest guys going, outgoing, funny and not trying to take it too far but attractive! Anyways, I don't go to college and I am self employed. I live at home and that's pretty much my life! My brother goes to college and so does my sister so it gets very depressing not being around people my age. I literally (I mean this) do NOT have a single friend in this world. Every one of my "friends" from high school has moved on and I haven't spoken to them since sophomore year in high school. Any tips? I was thinking over the summer going to college events and walking around maybe? I just don't know where to even start. Thanks!
Question: My friends have become losers, how to find a new group? Posted: 10 May 2016 04:10 PM PDT In high school my friend group divided around tenth grade, we were all a bunch of punks that smoked weed and chased girls. Most of my friends are older than me and are out of high school but they have stayed in this 16 year old mind state. none of them have any passion and ambition. Even though im younger than them I feel more mature as I have a job and always have been very disciplined with my passions martial arts and design as I train everyday and always have multiple projects going on. I feel as im graduating high school I kind of have broken ties with my fellow class and am stuck hanging out with my friends who never have money and just wanna hang out at someones house to smoke and dont want to continue to associate myself with them as I feel they are just holding me back even though I care for them. I've cut hanging out with them as much but I have been alone for the most part idk how to find new people because everyone I seem to know is either a drug user, dealer, vandal or delinquent. It's hard to connect to other people when thats all ive been around for the most part for a good 7 years.
Question: Is my present good enough..? Posted: 10 May 2016 04:02 PM PDT Hi, I decided to make a song for my friend and that is supposed to be really touching and show how much I care for her as a present on her birthday. But people keep saying that nobody wants a present like that because it's not something you can hold.. now I'm starting to feel terrible (I mean I have something planned out to give her like some game cards) but my problem is what if she thinks that way too..? She'll probably thank me but what if it really isn't good..?
Question: I broke my friend s Instagram Notifications? Posted: 10 May 2016 03:59 PM PDT Like most friends do, my friend and I tag each other in funny or amusing pictures on Instagram. One day, however, I was sitting bored af in my English class and was scrolling through Instagram and tagged my friend in a lot of pictures on there (she claims over 30, I would believe that). She keeps yelling at me now because whenever she wants to know if someone liked/tagged/commented, she has to go onto the app and into the notification area to see. Is there any way to fix this???

Posted: 10 May 2016 03:53 PM PDT I was just told that today. Girls aren't usually immature like that! But this one is one of the few who actually handles my jokes! And she has very few friends, if that means anything. I need a professional girl's opinion. Yes, I said it: a professional girl.
Question: Ended a friendship was it the right thing? Posted: 10 May 2016 03:52 PM PDT I ended a friendship that was for 4 months she was nice and all but she attempted to kill herself every time I tried to block her, so I forgave her, but as I forgive her I was just too overwhelmed I constantly to told her to leave me alone, but then I'll feel bad, so we recently got into a big argument and now I blocked her for good and its so annoying because I'm trying to move on but her friends would meesage me saying how hurt she is etc making it looking like im doing something wrong? I am a very sweet person and I'm caring for others why did I have to get put into a situation like this -_-

Question: What did she mean by, "people were trying me"? Posted: 10 May 2016 03:44 PM PDT I ask a friend of mine if anybody ever messed with her in high school. She repsonded with, "people were trying me, like try to talk to me anyway." I still don't get it. Does she mean that people were annoying her or hitting on her? She said people so I assume the first one.

Question: Can a 21 year old make $2000 a week? Posted: 10 May 2016 03:33 PM PDT Me and my friends were debating and one of my friends said "I bet you when I'm 21 I can make 2000 a week" can a 21 year old make that much money

Question: How can I make my friends not notice I am spitting out my food? Posted: 10 May 2016 03:32 PM PDT So I am anorexic and at school I barely eat anything but to make it seem like I am eating more, I chew my food but then I spit it out into my napkin. One of my friends noticed and got really angry at me. How can I make sure that none of my friends will notice again?
Question: My Friend Is An Art Stealer? Posted: 10 May 2016 03:23 PM PDT Ok, so I have known this friend for a few years now and she emailed me, showing me a photo of Undertale in Minecraft. I saw a signature on the top left corner, and I got a little suspicious so I looked up the name. What do you know, it's actually an online artist who makes Undertale and MC art. So I emailed her back telling her off, and she never responded. Usually she responds to emails or texts as quick as possible. What do I do? Should I say something? My friend should know better then this because she knows I have been on the internet more then her and I'm not stupid.

Question: Is my friend being a true friend? Posted: 10 May 2016 02:59 PM PDT I'm 14 years old and although I haven't been diagnosed I am certain I have depression. Approximately one month ago I started self harming, and I have reached a point where my depression has gotten worse. A week ago, I was talking to my friend through messenger and I needed to talk to somebody, It had all gotten too much and I felt as though my friend would listen. So, I told my friend about my depression and also how I had started self harming. Anyway, when Monday came and it was time to go back to school, we were in late detention with another of my friends (she doesn't know about my self harm), and my friend tried to pull up my sleeve to see my cuts, I managed to stop him and to this he replied "show me later". The following day, we were in maths (he sits behind me) and he drew a whale and handed me the piece of paper. The girl in front of me asked "why's there a fountain?", to which my friend replied "because she bleeds a lot". Yesterday he grabbed my arm in form and refused to let me past and asked me "have you stopped yet?". Again my other friend was there and she probably wondered what he meant! Then today he was in a bad mood, and we always pretend argue so I said "nah go away", and my friend replied "go hang yourself", as a 'joke'. What should I do now? I feel like my friend hasn't taken what I told him seriously and I regret telling him. What do you think about it? Thank you for taking your time to read this, I realise it's long.

Question: When a best friend becomes distant? Posted: 10 May 2016 02:46 PM PDT I understand sometimes things come up and a friend can become busy, or involved with someone, etc. I have reached out to my best friend several times and she has been very cut and dry with me... Almost defensive when I said I felt neglected. I m very understanding and she has my blessing in whatever she decides to do, but I just wish she could have just told me what was going on before she started to not take my calls or respond back to me. I know things come up, and I believe most people are mature adults here... But should I feel like the bad guy for confronting her about my feelings when she never told me or gave me a heads up on what s going on? Am I wrong and out of line because I was unaware of her abrupt changes and mood swings when I tried to contact her?
Question: Would you get an estranged friend a birthday present? Posted: 10 May 2016 02:41 PM PDT Basically someone I used to hang out with them I haven't seen since late 2014. I don't know why, we just kind of drifted apart. They invited me to their birthday thing this weekend, and I suppose I should go, despite it may be awkward not having seen them for so long (my first thought was, why after so long?) , but I also don't know about presents. idk maybe some of their tastes may have changed, what if I don't see them again for another long period.. I don't know. I just feel kind of weirded out by the whole situation. I didn't mention a sex, how on earth did you guess?
Question: How do I tell my friends that I don't like him? Posted: 10 May 2016 02:39 PM PDT I want to unfollow him on instagram but I'm scared that he will find out. I don't like him because he's kinda like Jacob Sartorius
Question: Should I be mad at my bff that she's drinking at 17? Posted: 10 May 2016 02:38 PM PDT It just bothers me and gets me angry that she drinks under age, I'm 18 btw. Anyways, before she wouldn't consider drinking and she knows I wouldn't like it if she did, but she's starting to drink more often and it gets me angry, idk why though, I think it's because of the fact that she knows that I, as a best friend, don't like it when she does but she does it anyways. But who am I to tell her what to do right? I've told her before I don't like it when she drinks, but today I've been kinda one wording her and eventually she's gonna ask me why I'm like this. But I wouldn't know what to say when she does. Someone help please.
Question: I think my friend is stealing from me... help!!? Posted: 10 May 2016 02:29 PM PDT okay, so i've had this friend for about 3 or 4 years now, and i think she is stealing from me. it would not surprise me, because i have caught her doing it before and she is a habitual liar. last time she stole fro me was almost a year ago, and she attempted to steal a fifty dollar starbucks gift card i had lying out on my desk. also, she constantly lies about everything. the thing that is missing this time is (awkward but) my bra. its my favorite bra, and she knows that it is. last week she was at my house along with a mutual friend, and we had gone swimming but she hadn't had a swimsuit so she went swimming in her clothes, so when we were done she needed a dry one to change into. I loaned her one of mine from last year, due to the fact that i hardly wear it and it doesn't really fit anymore. she was changing in the back of my closet, and she was taking a very long time with the other one. i believe she was having trouble getting it on, considering that she is on the heavier side and the bra was pretty small. our other friend and i left her changing so that i could go upstairs and tell my mom something. ever since that day, the bra has been missing. it was pretty expensive too, it was from victorias secret and was about $60... I've looked everywhere for it and still cannot find it. also, when she came over it was on the floor because i was getting ready to wash it, so it would have been easy for her to grab. please help!!
Question: I am a bad influence? Posted: 10 May 2016 02:09 PM PDT I'm 20 years old and I have an annoying 16 year old copying everything I do. I posted a photo with a lot of cleavage and since she's a copy cat she did the same. I'm big chested as it is so I can't help it! She's literally pushing out her boobs.

Question: How to stop being so paranoid? Posted: 10 May 2016 01:59 PM PDT I'm 19 and a girl and I've always had overprotective parents who would always give me the hardest time if I wanted to leave to house without them. It's been less crazy recently but a couple months ago I had to lie and say I was going to a concert with girl friends instead of the guy friend I was actually going with because she was threatening to literally come with me to check who I was going with. They also don't talk about anything PG13+ with me like sex or relationships and I just feel really awkward being MYSELF around them and even my friends because I constantly feel paranoid that I need to act all goody-goody because I feel like they're watching me and it's a bit depressing. I'm going off to uni soon where I'll be free to do whatever I want but I'm scared I won't be able to fully express myself since it's my first time ever not having to ask my parents to leave the house or tell them who I'm going with etc. How can I break out of my shell and learn to be ME without restriction? Any advice would help! Thanks
Question: How do you deal when you feel like a conversation is one-sided? Posted: 10 May 2016 01:35 PM PDT I was texting my friend, she is probably the closest I have to a best friend. Whenever I ask her a question she anseers it, but her response is usually something that doesn't require a response. Like I if I asked her how was the event?, she may say "it was good" and leave it at that. Why didn't she ask me a question. What do I say next. I just feel like I'm the only one asking questions. She initiated the conversation so I don't feel clingy, but I don't know what to respond. I would honestly just not say anything back at all, but that's being rude.
Question: How to break the ice with friends? Posted: 10 May 2016 01:16 PM PDT I want to start talking to my boyfriend's friends, but neither (or one of them) doesn't seem to like me. The boy, who is his best friend, is the one who dislikes me (as other friends said to me), and the other one, a girl, I had a falling out from (She said I was aggravating to a friend and blocked me from messaging her on Facebook), but me and her are repatching (or I think we are). I want to talk to them without getting made fun of by them (whether in front of me or behind my back), and making all three of us uncomfortable. Most importantly, I want to become friends with them. All three of us are 16 (the boy may be a little bit older). All help will be appreciated!

Question: DOES HE LIKE MY BEST FRIEND????? Posted: 10 May 2016 12:32 PM PDT My math teacher has tables and four people can sit at a table and she let us choose our new assigned seats. So I choose to sit next to my best friend. So people are choosing their seats and my crush (who also likes me) sat directly in front of me. At that point I got really exited and I couldn't stop smiling. After everyone is done choosing their seats there I am smiling with my best friend my crush and some other random person all sitting at the same table. So far things are great until yesterday. We had a substitute and she let us use the laptop so my crush is a gamer and he like to play games on the computer. He would always turn his computer torward my friend and show her what he was playing and there I am akwadly Trying to See what he is showing her. It made me a little upset that he would never show me what he was doing. Most of the time when we are in other classes he is looking at me But during math he never even looked at me not even a bit. That also made me little upset because he was constantly looking at my best friend. Am I just really jealous? Does he just feel a little uncomfortable being so close to me? Or could he like my best friend? What should I do?

Question: Random number is texting me and I really creeped out. -help me? Posted: 10 May 2016 11:54 AM PDT Okay so the conversation I had with this person is quite long and freaky since I haven't given out my number to ANYONE because I got a new phone which means that I only had my mum and my best friends number. To start of with, it's my birthday, and I was in class and realised that a random person had texted me, they texted me happy birthday and blah blah .... I asked them who it was and they refused to tell me so I just played along, but I thought it was weird because I didn't tell anyone my number. They then started to text me really inappropriate sexual messages and through me off completely and I started to get worried. I am still a little creeped out by the whole thing. The person apparently might go to my school and they apparently like me... (?) But they won't tell me who they are or how they got my number... but they know my name :( I think this whole thing is weird . It is not my best friend because she was there was the person was texting me...and like I said, no one else has my number... They haven't texted me since like 4pm though. What is going on?

Question: Why won't he be my friend? Posted: 10 May 2016 11:45 AM PDT Why won't he be my friend? I known this guy and we became really good friends. As usual we had our ups and down like most people do. Then one day on April 30th he decides he doesn't want to talk to me again. I try to get a reason but got none. I really miss his friendship what do I do
Question: Hey. What should I do? Posted: 10 May 2016 11:35 AM PDT So my friend and I have known each other for 5-6 years. She was always there for me in bad and good time. But a few days ago she took a decision that affects me and puts me in a uncomfortable position. We started the same college together and lived together for 1 year but suddenly she decided to quit and leave me live alone. She know I can not afford to pay the rent alone so she told me she will pay the rent until my exams are over but that's it. I am forced to move out or find someone else to live with within two months. It hurts but she apologized and she makes effort to keep our friendship going but I feel awful and betrayed . I do not know what to do. I want to end things with her because she put herself first and she didn't think so much at me but I kind of understand her because it is good to put yourself first before others. I love her and I do want to make an effort for our friendship to keep going but I just feel uncomfortable and strange. I see that she makes quite a lot of effort and she tries to make me feel better but I still feel bad. What do I do? I can forgive her because I love her but should I keep being her best friend/sister?

Question: Am i over reacting or being too emotional? Posted: 10 May 2016 10:34 AM PDT im not the kind of person who typically expects gifts, i am quite selfless. however mothers day came and went and my husband didnt do crap. my bday too. he asked me what i wanted- my answer was a plant like a tomato or pepper plant. but nothing. even a handmade card or just a note would have made me so happy. i am feeling kinda hurt and i dont know if i should say anything. its not the gift that i care about i just want to be aknowledged. do i tell him im hurt or just get over it?
Question: 2 person sleepover ideas needed? Posted: 10 May 2016 10:15 AM PDT I am going to have a sleepover with my best friend soon as we hardly ever see eachother. Usually we make our own entertainment but I'd like some more ideas cos we get bored of the same stuff after a while. We are both 14 year old girls by the way. Also suggest some movies we could watch, especially ones that make you cry! Thanks
Question: How to deal with a rude lady in my class? Posted: 10 May 2016 10:08 AM PDT I am in college and I am in my 20's and there is this lady in my class who is older than me and she is like in her fourty's or fifties and she thinks she is better than everyone in her class and she is very conceited and sarcastic to everyone. When I ask the teacher a question and she always has something smart to say but then when I fight back and give her attitude she hates it and so I didn't want to deal with her so I moved seats. Then I died my hair blonde and she starts questioning it like I need her permission and she plays around with me like she knows me. She acts worse than a two year old and I am going to cuss the ***** out if she tells me one more thing. There are people her age in my class and they are nice to everyone even young people like me so why can't she?
