I don't have to know, it just bothers me when I know almost nothing that there talking about- it makes me not want to even hangout with them. on top of that we had a lunch break and they were chatting about a serious matter that just happened with one of them. I accepted this and gave them space. Then, I went to chill with someone else. what bothered me was that when break ended and we all went back to the room where we were practicing I got upset when I saw that another friend joined them and that they were eating pizza and having fun. they totally forgot about me. I'm kind of hurt and I feel like I have no right to be mad at them.... but I am still upset. a few of my friends go to practice with me |

Posted: 01 May 2016 04:42 PM PDT Hey so like I'm a high school student who is not a very outgoing person, I'm only outgoing with friends that I already have but even then I have a fear of getting rejected, low key. I have a girlfriend who's an amazing person, who I always feel like I'm annoying even though she denies it because quite honestly I don't have anyone else who I can be very open with. I have this other friend who said I can be open with him, but although I want to be more intimate with him I don't think I trust him that much, even though I consider him one of my closer friends. I had a great friend back in middle school, who I unfortunately lost contact with, but was the best friendship I ever made with anyone. Most of my guy friends are goofy, even though they seem mature, and won't really take me seriously when I'm trying to tell them about my problems. I have a lot of trouble making girl friends, because even though I already have a girlfriend I feel like all girls find me strange and want to get with them also when all I need is more friendships. The friends that I already have I'm always hesitant before approaching them, because I have a huge fear of rejection in general. Please give me tips on overcoming this fear, and making friends/improving the friendships I have. I really need more friends so I won't feel like I'm annoying the same ones all the time. |

When you call someone, you expect them to answer it. Then there could be pressure on them, and if they don't answer the phone (maybe they were looking for it and they didn't find it) then you'll be questioning like why didn't they answer, and they'll be probably felling guilty or something. Sure, you can pick up the phone again and call, but really. I'm not trying to sound funny or anything. But it's just a question that recently popped up in my mind. |

In the post it featured a boy and a girl that she/he "wants to end up together" that completely hate each other, then comes 58 hate comments where he/she argues with a bunch of people, making threats where if we keep giving it hate, he/she would post more photoshopped pictures of them being together, and I'm trying to help one of the two people posted find out who they are. The person is driving everyone crazy, especially me trying to find out who they are, the person just ignores my dms. Thats not all though: when one of my friends posted a picture she said it was perfect, except that one of them were in it, then my friend completely deleted it forgetting to screen shot the evedence (btw dont say its him because ITS NOT) What do I do? Is there a way to find out who they are, should i tell someone, i reported them but should i go on multiple account to report them over, and over again, I mean what do i do? They both have a private instagram and i follow one but the other one keeps denying my requests. |

I was bullied by my whole class, no one liked me and all i can remember is me trying literally SO HARD to fit in but end up still getting bullied and crying at night, while my best friend was the one everyone liked. People have changed now, the bulliers are now nice and sweet and most of them are even my friends now. Only the really bad ones left, but they have a way worse life than me now. I just downloaded twitter again and i wanted to check my old account, i saw these horrible tweets of people to me and i felt like this bullied little girl all over again. These tweets cant be deleted. I wish i never went on that site ! I now have a strong hate for the exbulliers-now friends and i dont know why. Im afraid they still see me as that silly little girl instead of a grown strong woman. How can i just forget the damm past and move on? |

One of my friends that replaced me with her has been one of my closest friends since 6th grade (I am in 11th now) and the other has been my best friend since 9th. They're still all over me at school and hang out with me during lunch/frees/after school but then sometimes, I see them on social media hanging out without me and with that new girl (who doesnt go to our school!!) one of them even directly snap shatted me a picture of her. Are they trying to piss me off and rub it in my face? It just hurts a lot to be left our by your only friends. Do I have a right to be mad? I plan on giving them the silent treatment. Anyways, I have gynecomastia, so I was a little hesitant about taking my shirt off and going swimming, but I decided to anyways. My "friends" though began to make fun of me and began to make insults towards me. I felt like I was about to cry and gathered my belongings and left, without even saying a word to them. I proceeded to block them all from all of my social media. After this, I felt so bad especially because this is nothing that I can control and I also felt anger towards them. One girl that was there messaged me a few hours later apologizing for what she did and said she still wants to be friends. I responded to her text message by saying "I wish today s incident did not have to occur, but it occurred. You revealed your true colors today and there is nothing I can do to help you. I have had to suffer with this for years, you have not. A decision was made today that is out of my control. You have caused irreversible damage to our friendship. As a result, I want nothing more to do with you or anybody else that participated in what happened today." I eventually got a few more apology messages, but never responded to them. I have been made of this before and do not feel comfortable when people make jokes about man boobs. Anyways, am I overreacting with my "friends"? |

They found out this week about it and wanted to know about the food. I am getting it catered and they started asking if I could buy ingrediants to make things and I explained that I m getting catered cause I won t have time or a place to cook. She then suggested I buy the ingredients and she can make this stuff...she is also expecting there to be a lot of food left over to eat for days after...I did order a little extra with the expectation of my son and sister having food for the remainder of our trip. It s as if people my age tend to behave like they re 16, it makes me feel mentally lonely. I m not a nerd or I don t suffer from autism or something like that, I can be your typical average teenager who likes to party too, it s just that that s not really me, while most of the time, it is the real them. A while ago I thought I got over this, but then it made me think again; I was trying something with a girl I like, just sending her a joke. But it was something of very specific humor, and she didn t get it, as I feared. I know this is ridiculous, and it s ok to have different senses of humor, but it made me feel as if I ll have a hard time to find a girl just because I feel smarter and more complex than others. I understand people change, but i'm not dealing with --that--, the thing is i'm in the same class as her and i'm with her for seven hours a day and i can't get myself to speak with her the way i used to before.. and i'm thinking of leaving her slowly without her noticing but she's very clingy and she's constantly asking if i'm mad and she keeps telling me she's disappointed that i've changed and all, she has many photos of me and i'm afraid she'll blackmail me or share my private information online-- and i feel like i'm overreacting but i've never dealt with something like this before-- and i've talked with family members for advice and they always tell me to stand her till the year ends but i can't get those secrets and photos out of my mind and finals are coming up too! i can't stop slapping myself for what i've done and confronting her about it is not an option. should i just say "**** it" and leave the ***** for good? She talks about how me and her are "Really good friends" and how it's not fair that I got into Dartmouth and she didn't because I had a "3.4 gpa." First off, I have a 4.8, and..?? I never told her I got into Dartmouth. She tells stories, about how I made fun of her for eating a burger and Callie said, "We all know you used to have anorexia." I never even had anorexia. That whole thing never happened, she keeps telling stories like we're her friend. She is telling everyone that she is now dating Justin, which isn't true, because Justin is dating ME and took ME to prom. NOT HER. I was supposed to store them until she came for them. The second leader of the group had told me that he would get a female that he knew to organize an all female meetup group outing, because he assumed that I was uncomfortable being around mostly men. He didn't go into much detail (mentioned the woman's name, told me how I could get in touch with her or vice versa) After the meetup he didn't say anything else about it to me and I didn't say if I would come to another meetup group or not. But he was super friendly. Do you think he was just trying to "people please" ? |

He's made new friends who he considers to be more interesting than his current group of friends, which would be uncharacteristic of him, because he says that people at his school are very clique-based and not very personable, so he said that it'd be a waste of time for him to make friends at his school. 2. He's found a girlfriend and is enjoying that relationship so much, that he doesn't want to spend time with anyone else but her. 3. He's mad at either myself or my friend Miguel, and is not talking to us because of that. 4. He's just really busy with school and he doesn't want any outside distractions to bother him (social media, friends, etc.). Right now, I'm thinking it's most likely #4. |

She s more the book smart type, while I take honors classes, have a few more B s and am a bit more of a social butterfly. One night, I was on the phone with her, (I ll call her sue) I told sue I liked a certain guy. It s a guy we both know, really nice and a total nerd. Her first response was " really, you too?" I said yeah and went on to ask her if it was bad, she replied saying "it s just a lot of people like him, I feel bad for you." And while, I wasn t sure what she meant by that and it did sting a bit, I didn t want to start drama so I left it alone. The situation was not brought up for a few days. Yet she continued to be irked whenever any of my friends or I brought him up. (And no trust me she doesn t like him they don t even know each other and she never seemed like his biggest fan.) One night sue, another friend, and I were on a group call. Our mutual friend brought up the guy I liked, and for the first time in an hour of talking sue was silent. I finally plucked up the courage and asked her why she was salty. She replied "I m not" So I then asked her why she said she felt "sorry for me." And then she lied and claimed she never said it. My other friend supported me, saying I wouldn t make it up. After a few seconds she said she felt attacked and hung up. She has been ignoring me for a week now and I m tired of it. All I wanted was a simple apology. What should I do? |
| Posted: 01 May 2016 12:58 PM PDT I'm actually very pissed off while writing this question, as I'm pissed about the fact that I still can't get through this mixture of depression, anxiety and pissed off. It's been 1 week since I saw my ex-bestfriend that I haven't seen for 3 years since I screw our friendship up and I have regrets every minute of my life. I saw him, he saw me and there was this awkward sensation and I just stood there ending the bottle of wine, ( didn't even got drunk which made more pissed afterwards ) We didn't talk, didn't compliment, just stood there. I've been recovering very well, but after seeing him, it all came back - The Anxiety - The Constant Sadness and Anger to myself. Basically I have no idea how to forget him, we used to be the bestfriends ever for 3 years, I gave him so much value and to our friendship but I screwed everything up. In the same year i lost him, I had lost a bestfriend since I was 4, I was 16 that time. So that contributed to a severe depression which destroyed me mentally. Here I am with 18 almost 19, still sad, still angry to myself and I don't know what to do with my life, everytime I see him, I remember everything and it all comes down to me. I've had several wishes of suicide since it happened, but I don't have the balls for it, just waiting for the right car to run over me and take the life outta me, I won't even dodge. The real question is, how do I get over this? Sry for the long text, it's just everything I feel right now. I'm currently in a gym where It's the only place I feel good and can put all my anger in. When I get depressed, I usually smoke or go out with my other friends ( that sometimes I think they don't give a f*ck about me) get drunk, forget everything.. - Reason why i'm constantly changing group of friends, I just don't seem to fit in after losing my bestfriend. |

I think that's so disgusting specially when I work my *** off to get good grades, and although her lack of morals doesn't directly affect me am done with her, it's ridiculous. She thinks am being unreasonable and when I explained t to her that what she does it's wrong she stared laughing in my face and called me a nerd. Am I overreacting? |
| Question: How to forget about a friend who hurt me? Posted: 01 May 2016 11:39 AM PDT I've been friends with this girl for almost 3 years we met back in collage. After I graduated I had to travel for work & family multiple times & we stayed connected. I came back after 1 year & she was very excited. that's when things started going wrong. If your "bestie" is coming to town after a year what should you do? Well, I didn't see her for 6 months since my arrival, she was always busy, had some family thing going on. I was very hurt by her behavior, after seeing how upset i was she just said a plain sorry like she doesn't even mean it. Things went okay after that but not like it used to. I was and still am in a very bad phase in my life, I lost my job and have been unemployed for the past 18 months and she doesn't really care, I started noticing how selfish she is, she would call me and talk about her bf for hours and she won't let me say anything. She never asks about me. 6 months ago I had to travel again for a job opportunity which didn't go well but When I heard about her engagement I cancelled all plans I had there and came back for her. I didn't see her after that bcuz she kept cancelling our plans for family thing. I felt unappreciated, I stopped talking to her. She tried to talk to me but as usual it's always about her world. I tried to tell her about how I feel but she would end the conversation right from the start bcuz she says conversations like this won't get us anywhere bcuz she said she's sorry! Do you think am wrong about ending this friendship? |
| Question: My supposed "friends" are judgemental about me...? Posted: 01 May 2016 11:38 AM PDT I live in a hostel, so life goes on pretty much with my roommates and other friends around all the time. Once i got into a fight with someone from the hostel and lost my temper. Now many of my friends (as well as my roommate) judge me because of my temper... even when I don't mention any of the stupid things they do all the time. I even don't ask them to stop judging me, because I know they would taunt me even more. This does make me angry, but at the same time I cannot do anything about it, so I just keep these feelings to myself. I even sometimes feel that I should really beat up someone, but that would further prove their point. Also, whatever I tell my roommate (that should be a secret) somehow becomes widespread to others as well.. And I can't show anger at it.. I get left out as well in many gatherings because of this, but I still don't want to judge others by their actions, because that would make me the same as they are.. This feeling of anger keeps boiling inside me.. what should i do? |

I don't talk about it a lot but occasionally I do mention her in passing, and sometimes it makes me sad when I do. I'm more happy of the memories than sad now but it does get me at times. My long term bf just told me when I bring her up, it's boring and its not interesting anymore to hear. We were together when I found out she died and knew her, albeit not that well. I started to develop feelimgs for her and eventually ended up confessing, got a lot of positive signs from her end and mutual friends thought she felt the same. She turned me down saying that she only saw me as a friend and nothing more but admitted that she knew I had feelings for her, since it was pretty obvious to pretty much everyone. We stopped talking for a bit but since we had class together i decided to stay friends with her. She started flirting with a close friend of mine in Chem class and spent most of the class pretending like I didnt exist. I just ignored it and she started to text me again but i pretty much sent short answered replies and didnt want to keep the convo going. So we have class together again startimg next Monday, on a break right now but she is in my class again and I kmow she will sit next to me, should I just make it clear to her that we cant be friends anymore. I dont care about her not feeling the same way, more that she used me for attention and the way she has been acting since than trying to get my attention again |
