My friends all say that they've cussed in front of their parents and their parents don't care. If I cussed in front my parents, especially my dad, they would get mad and tell me to never do that ever again. And they're allowed to have crazy parties and stuff with their parents' permission and have boys sleep over and stuff. If I asked my mom if I could have a party with alcohol and stuff she'd slap me and they'd have a fit if they ever saw a boy sleeping over in the house. And my friends say that they hide their report cards from their parents and stuff, but I could never get away with something like that. My mom is always getting on my case about doing my homework and that I'd better finish all my homework and get good grades. They also never let me skip school unless I'm REALLY sick, and if I try to beg them they just tell me to get dressed because I must go to school and we're not discussing it. And my parents always ask me where my report card is. I'm not allowed to go out on weekdays and if I ask my parents are always like "don't you have a test to study for?' or 'don't you have homework that needs doing?' I even heard my friend on the phone with her mom and she was raising her voice to her and stuff. I would NEVER get away with something like that. Why are their parents so lenient?

I'm working with a man and we've been dating 4 about six months period i was in a conversation with him and a couple other co-workers one of the older coworkers said that she wanted to introduce him to her daughter mind you my man is 55 years old and I'm 34. The older lady daughter is 45. The older lady said that her daughter was pretty and that he should meet her. There is this obnoxious guy at my school. He follows us around and just insults us. He dated one of our friends a while back and he dump ed her and said he's too good for her. We hated him ever since. He just insults us. In my French class, he took my notebook and I took it back and he punched me in the stomach. He also stabbed my friend in the neck with a pencil. We all despise him and he thinks he is so cool and so awesome. He just insults everyone thinking he is the best person ever. It got even worse when he dated this even more obnoxious girl and his ego inflated even more! He stalks us constantly and just talks to us to insult us. We try to tell him to go away and he doesn't! He says he's the most popular guy and school and he'd get his crew to beat the **** out of us. As far as I can tell he doesn't have many friends... He pisses off everyone!!! Any advice on what I can do about this????

As you all know I will be graduating with my master's degree next week. Every year at our church we honor our graduates (high school, college) and the kids who are being promoted to certain grades. The H.S. and college graduates get to wear their cap and gowns to church. Several years ago a dear friend of mine died and left two beautiful girls behind. The oldest is graduating H.S. this year. I've been chatting with her to see if she was coming to the church program and she told me yes. Well, our church moved locations and last night I texted her to let her know the new location. My wife then got on this kick about me chatting with these young girls. She knew how close me and my friend was and I've enjoyed seeing her daughters grow since her death. My wife said that I needed to be speaking with their dad, whom I'm also friendly with. We were friends when they were dating. My wife then gets on this kick of me picking up several teenage girls in a housing project who attends our church cause they don't have rides to church. Again, she said it looks bad. They will hit me up once or twice a month asking if I would pick them up for church. Next my wife brings up the fact that sometimes I'll bath my 7 year old grand-daughter when she spends the night with us. She says that a 7 year old is capable enough to bathe herself. Yeah, she gets in the tub and plays with the bubbles. That really ticked me off to think that she would even insinuate that I had sexual thoughts with my grand-daughter. Much less, that I was getting something out of picking up the three girls from the housing project and even worse I was trying to push up on my deceased friend's daughters. The problem is this. She thinks it looks bad for a man to do this stuff but she's not volunteered to do any of it either. "Let someone else do it." "Why do you have to pick them up?" Does everyone think with a perverted mind when a man has interactions with younger girls? Several months ago after a Super Bowl party at our house I took our niece (her sister's child) home and her mom told my wife that it didn't look right for a grown man to have a young girl in his car that late at night. Ok, when's the last time you saw a grown man in a car at night with a younger girl and you immediately thought he was up to something? I guess her family thinks all men are perverts.

I'm 18 and have been sleeping with a 46 year old man for a while now. It's always great being with him. It's not always about sex. He treats me like a queen and makes me laugh and is always there for me to give wise advice. He's so much more mature and experienced than any guy my age. But lately, I've been feeling kind of guilty about this. He and his wife are both close family friends, which makes for sort of awkward moments when they come over to hang out with my parents. It's hard for me to see him with his wife. It's also hard to stop myself from acting interested in him. So I normally leave to go elsewhere when they come over. I don't think anyone has caught on. Everything seems to be as it was between my parents and him and his wife before I started sleeping with him. It just sucks that we can't be together and not have to hide anymore. But everyone would judge us so bad. And he keeps saying that once his kids are adults (he has two teenage boys) that he will leave his wife and we can be together. But I don't know why we have to wait that long. The outcome of the situation will be the exact same whether or not he waits for his kids to turn 18. What should I do about this? The situation has snowballed into such a mess. Please don't judge me, either. I came on here to anonymously ask for advice because I can't tell anyone in real life about this. Not even my best friend. I feel like I would receive judgment rather than unbiased advice. So save your harsh/judgmental comments for yourself, please. I know this question is asked a lot but bare with me, I've asked for advice for a couple of years to no avail. So I hope maybe someone from here can help out a little. So, I'm 16 in two months.. I've never had a boyfriend. Never been kissed. Etc. I've been rated by guys online, ranging from 6-8/10. Here's the problem, no guys seem to be interested. Not a lot of guys look in my direction Or maybe I don't notice them checking me out. No ones ever told me they had a crush on me.. Never been asked out. They share children together and used to be married for a long time and even though the ex was a pretty crappy, lowlife, sleazy person and still is, they still hang out and get along because of the kids. In fact they hang out at your girlfriend or boyfriends home when you are not there because of the kids and your girlfriend/boyfriend takes up for them when they do something you know is pretty sleazy/crappy and accuse you of not being supportive. Is it weird to be jealous of this?

I been with this boy for a year . he's constantly lying and talking to other girls meanwhile he doesn't want me speaking to boys he's cheated on me in the past and lied about it and told me it's not true. I'm 16 in my junior year of high school and tbh I've never had a girlfriend but I hope I can make that fact history. I was rejected and publicly humiliated both times I asked a girl out, to be clear after they said no they went and told everyone and everyone made fun of me at school for months. I used to be really fat and always got C's and D's but I dropped the junk food and joined a gym the summer after my freshman year and my GPA since is 3.8267 after a 1.9344 start freshman year and I'm in the best shape of my life. But I'm still ugly and that's much harder to fix. Anyways, for a promposal next year I wanted to write "(her name) will you go to the prom with me?" In chalk in the parking lot. Is that a bad idea?

A piece of furniture broke. I have no idea how it happened, but my mother has decided that I did it. She's now saying that I'm grounded until I "come clean" and confess that I broke it and agree to pay up. I'm a good kid and I don't want to confess to something that I really didn't do. But she says every time I say I didn't do it, I'm going to be in more trouble for talking back and lying to her. She's big on the "children should never ever disagree with their parents" and thinks if she says I did something then I should just agree no matter what I think. How do I get out of this? I don't lie and I'm not about to start just because she's being unreasonable. We're religious too and she's always telling me that God tells us not to lie or do anything else wrong even if someone in authority commands it. But now that I'm in trouble she won't accept anything except me lying to her and telling her I did it.

I came on here looking for logical, sound, advice on my situation. I'm currently dating somebody that's married to a marine overseas, and needed legal advice. However, mostly what I received for snide remarks about how I'm some awful person. Now, I can understand the logic and people being mad at my girlfriend, but the way I see it, I did nothing wrong. I didn't break any marital vows, I never promised her husband to be faithful, etc. On top of that, I've been there for their six-year-old son who needed a father. So comma I'd like to see a logical reason as to why I'm in the wrong. Even if I weren't sleeping with her, somebody else probably would be, so it's not like I'm the reason for the other faithfulness. Additionally comma if the other guy were a better husband and dad, then this probably wouldn't have happened.
