My boyfriend wants a family and I've made an appointment with the doctor at the end of June to ask if I can have children or not. June is the earliest I can get an appointment with my doctor. He is pressuring me to find a new doctor so he can have an answer ASAP. He's 40 and I'm 30, and says he can't wait until June to know. I told him he can wait till June or find someone else and stop bothering me about it, and he finally stopped pestering me and said he'd wait. It used to be fun to be around him; we could talk and joke about so many things, but for the last 2 months or so, all he does is try to make me feel guilty for not having gotten pregnant yet. We've only been together since early 2015 and it's not really fun for me to visit him anymore, because I just end up leaving more stressed than before our visit. I'm about at my wit's end. Can someone give good advice? @ finwie: Although he guilt-trips me, he doesn't blame me. He's going to the doctor also. When I say he makes me feel guilty, I mean he's always talking about everyone else in his family and his circle his age and younger who already have kids and he talks about this fact constantly.

I'm an 18 year old girl. I love getting hugs from my friends. It makes me feel so happy and loved. Pretty normal right? Now I don't mean to seem so harsh, but I hate having to hug my family. It just makes me so uncomfortable. It makes them really upset that I don't really like making physical contact (hugs, kisses, even a pat on the back) with them at all. I feel awful because I feel like my parents think I'm rejecting them and their love. I still love them, but I don't think I love them as much as most people love their parents. I know that hugs don't define love, but why do I hug my friends and not my parents? Not sure if this will make a difference, but I was adopted. I have NEVER liked being physically close to my parents. When I was a baby, after my parents adopted me, I would feed my bottle to myself. I wouldn't let them near me. The only time I would let them close to me was when I was really sick and really needed help. Ive never felt a very strong connection with them. And I love getting hugs from friends and other people, but I SUCK at giving hugs. This is because I have almost no experience with hugging people because I never liked to hug my parents when I was growing up. I really wish I could hug people but I just don't know how lol. Basically I just wanna know why I love hugs with friends but am freaked out by hugging my parents, because I still do love them.

My ex-husband was physically and mentally abusive during our marriage- beginning during pregnancy. I got out with my children but tried for some time to see if we could get help so that we wouldn't have to be a broken family. With the attempts with us being far away, he got even more cruel. We are finally divorced but my children and I lost everything and he gets to live in a 1/2 million dollar home and do nothing for our children despite being ordered. Then in rare communication, he tells me that he's dating and in love with a psychologist that he met through a local connection etc etc. I was hurt because I'm still trying to get over everything and he's had no problem just doing away with us (blaming me for everything...has his circle convinced too). There is no concern for our children but he claims he loves them. It oftens feels unreal that all this really happened. As of the last conversation, there will be no contact whatsoever because I have to keep us safe but...just can't fathom how someone walks away from their children but has time to be in relationships. And what's wrong with this female? She knows he has children that he cannot even see legally. Something should connect.. since he's not meeting his obligations to his children but she's a psychologist?? She seems stupid because he's going to abuse her too. I learned that I wasn't the first.. He has supervised visits so he decided the kids should forget about him. Someone assaults and abuses you while you are pregnant, you leave and you protect yourself and your children. It should be clear that its not your fault? And was is it so easy to convince everyone? With the cops and medical professionals, he couldn't that's why I have my kids. He put together all these elaborate lies and even had the cop investigated who helped me get to the hospital after assaulting me when I was pregnant. He successfully made that the guy ended up moving to another force They even went after the cop's family. So... not sure why I can't grasp that this was a real thing but I suppose time will have to do it. We went through a lot of trauma and I would imagine that takes time to overcome. I was hoping to just get feedback from sensible people, not trolls or jerks. So pls refrain from hurling insults and sarcasms because it just reinforces this idea that I am worthless because I'm trying to sort through the impact of making a poor decision to marry an abuser. thnx.

My boyfriend has difficulty tidying due to disability (autism and depression), but it also seems like he doesn't give a **** anyway - his dog has had so many 'accidents' the carpet is ruined so the place stinks, everything is dirty or damaged, and he's now got cockroaches too. Even the most basic things like closing kitchen cupboards after himself or putting his dirty clothes in the hamper...he doesn't even try. We currently live apart and he pays for me to visit, he pays for food and for us to go out, so when I visit I consider tidying a fair trade - but it seems less fair when it's the same disgusting mess every time, or when most of my visit is trying to get it tolerable while he does nothing. On top of that we're supposed to be getting married but I don't want to be his cleaner on top of working or having a kid! It's not just unfair to me but can't be healthy for him (his hygiene has declined too) or his kids who stay alternate weekends. Every time I leave I beg him to get a cleaner...they can't help with his hoard of junk, but day-to-day stuff like laundry and dishes just so it doesn't get worse and so he can work on tidying out some junk. He sometimes uses the excuse of it not being tidy, but I've tidied it to a tolerable level and he already gets cleaners in for a deep clean of the carpet, kitchen, and one bathroom every month but it's not enough. I don't want to keep nagging him or give him an ultimatum, but what else can I do??

My sister in law is 25 years old and has two kids who are 4 and 1.5 and I am 19 and have a baby who is 13 months. I work six hard hours 5 days a week at Braums and my sister in law works at the mall four hours for three days. She is so boring and lazy. The days she doesn't work she spends it washing clothes, cleaning the house and washing the dishes and grocery shopping. I do that during the week too but on Saturdays or Sunday's I go to a flea market to see what I can buy. Well, the last time my SIL had fun was last year at six flags and left one kid with our MIL and her other kid with her mom. I didn't go because six flags is for immature people. And now I am leaving my baby with my mother in law again like I've always been for the past year and my sister in law told me that I should be more mature and start taking responsibility. I'm going to a concert and it's only four hours and they're making a big deal. It's not my fault she's boring and lazy. And she babysits my baby sometimes and tries to make him sit and eat nasty jar food. I told her that he will sit or crawl whenever he wants to and whenever I permit it. He's 13 months old and he's considered a 11 month old. I don't know if I should tell her to stop being stupid and boring?? And to get her lazy *** up?

Since graduating from college, life has been very difficult. I have not been able to find a decent paying job to help support myself and pay off my student loan debt. I have worked a series of part time jobs to help pay my bills. I even went back to school to get my teaching credential but after two years I have not been able to get a full time teaching job. I substitute teach for 3 districts, work a part time job on the weekends and still have a hard time making ends meet. I live at home due to my student loan debt and not having full time work. I am constantly stressed, have not traveled much and have very little friends due many of them have moved away or are married with kids. I feel like I can t get a break to start my own life and am terribly embarrassed of where I am at in life. Won t even consider dating anyone because I feel like I don t have much to give and many guys have written me off due to my living situation. I feel like my life will be like this forever. So Frustrated!!

I got up at 7:00 expecting a friend to take me to a school fair and she didn't show up at my house. I went downstairs ready to go at 7:30. I waited and texted her when she's going to pick me up, she said that She couldn't go.Then I went up to my room and watched youtube. When my sister woke up she ran into my room( she is notallowed in)and took my baby (cat) who is disabled and she made him meow weirdly.I didn't see him until latter. Then I went down to my computer. The internet crashed. I then tried to watch a movie on my computer. I went downstairs to the den where my mother was doing homework and I tried to get a movie, Spider-Man (my favorite movie) was gone. I then found the second and third Spider-Man and went upstairs saying that I was going to watch those. I put in the 2nd disc and it didn't register, I put in the special edition one for the second disc and it didn't play and it wouldn't play the movie, same with the third. My sister came out of her room, she decided that she was going to paint my back and if I don't let her do that she would tell my secret . She painted my back and then said she would take it off I agreed and she got some stuff. But what I didn't know is rant she grabbed baking soda as well,and I get rashs from baking soda.she put it on my back and I screamed "YOUR BURNING ME!" And no one cared. Latter I got my cat back. Guess what his hip is now out of place, again. And that is only half of the **** I went through today.

My boyfriend Adam and I have been together for three years. He's 18 and i'm 17 turning 18 in July. He's a very sweet and caring guy and almost always puts a smile on my face even if I'm not in a good mood. Sometimes though, he might get a little snappy and throw out a mean comment or whatever but it doesn't happen a lot. Lately though, it's been a little more consistent. I don't know why. About 4 months ago I got pregnant with a baby girl and we're deciding on naming her Allison. I feel like maybe because i'm pregnant and since i'm a lot more moodier than normal maybe he's just irritated with my constant mood swings? I have no idea but it's kinda getting on my nerves. He could also be tired and stressed from work or something. He works right after his 3rd class of the day at school ( he only has 3 classes now because he already took almost every single AP and honors class there is) and so he's out of school before 11 AM and he won't get home from work until about 6 or 7 in the evening (yes, we live together). For the most part he's been so supportive and kind throughout my pregnancy but things have just gone downhill for like 3 weeks. He's just been less patient with me, annoyed, and irritable. So, what can I possibly do to change this? What do you think is up with him? If I sit down and talk with him about it what do i say so that he doesn't get all mad? On March 30th, I wound up in a physical altercation with another woman in my college. Her name was Marie. Amyway, we were both punching each other in the face, but to be honest with you, I probably punched her in the face the most. Then, when she was on the floor, I grabbed her by her hair and started dragging her. She then started screaming. So when she got up, she punched me in the stomach, punched me in the face and when I fell to the ground, she attempted to grab my hair, but I got up and so I punched her in the stomach, punched her in the face and she then fell to the floor. So I grabbed her by the hair again and dragger her and she started screaming again. So when she got up, she charged at me and we started grappling with each other. She then punched me on the back 2 times and then I threw her to the floor. She didnt get up permanently this time. So was this a catfight that I had??? If so, who do you think won and why???

I have this one friend always calling me out for doing something annoying when his others friends do the same thing. I'm a male with low self esteem who is a junior in high school, I'm also still a virgin, I have a lot of insecurities and indecisive about what I want to do in life.
