I don't even understand how I make people feel uncomfortable. Sometimes there's awkward silences or something when I talk but I have no idea what I do. I've asked 2 kids and they both said the same thing (I'm 16 btw). They said "because I stand too close to them and just my general vibe makes them feel uncomfortable." I never even considered standing too close to someone being a reason I make the uncomfortable! I try to keep my distance but they say the same thing. Please help the counselor can't help and there's not really anyone else to talk to about this. |

He hits her when they argue and they get loud. She wont leave him. He cheats (has a sex video). She brought him an iphone 6, she suspended the line and then turned it back on (so he cant talk to the other girl) he still has a house key (we all room together in an apartment) she still pays his rent, and his phone bill, she buys him clothes and and expensive keyboard (he couldnt buy her anything but he works and spends his money on the other girl.) And she picked him over me. I have bad nerves so when they fight they start to interfere if my life and everyone elses, me and her other bestfriend told her to leave him but she said shes choosing him over us. I try to be a good friend and not leave her but she leaves us no choice. She only cares about him no matter how much he cheats. We tried to tell her his this isnt love but she just brushes it off. What can we do or say as our last attempt to get into her head? BTW We've all graduated high school and we cant speak to her parents because her mom isnt living and her dad only understands korean. |

Because I used to have everything I could ever want, and then let's just say life happened. When I first met my friend I thought she and I were exactly alike, we both liked art and had a dark sense of humor. but lately whenever i do something I always come in 2nd place. I've confronted her about how it made me feel like **** that she was always better at art than me, and she always just says "that's because I've been practicing my whole life"...ok, good for you, so have i...we entered two art competitions together thinking we wouldnt even be ranked but I won 3rd place! aaand, she won 2nd... I have loved art and designing for pretty much my whole life, and when i met my friend, I introduced her to designing and she picked it up and was better than me within seconds. The fact that she keeps telling me that if i practice i will get better it almost nauseating because I AM practicing. IVE BEEN practicing just as long as her. Even on the subject of health she outshines me. Her family has a disorder..pandas? but I know that she doesn't have it herself, the only thing she has is achey knees and an otherwise perfect body. I've been clearly sick and suffering for the past month but people haven't even asked about it, they just ask her how her family is doing when they're actually fine. I could go on for pages about all the specific details but basically, I NEVER complain and its all she can do when she doesnt even have significant problems. |

We talk and we become friends. Anyway now it's the 5th month of hs and we've gotten to know eachother a lot. We were really close almost best friends. So she really wanted to get an iPhone 6 plus and so she asked her parents and they said no. So she told me what they said and then she said - and I quote, "Do you know what? I'll just nag them until they get me it." And so I said, "look, *blank* maybe you should just let this one ride" sorta thing, she said no, they'll get me it. The next week she rocks up to school with it and will not ******* shut up about it. She's like oh it's got like 240fps and look at this photo, is that even a camera? Look, I'm not a person to be jealous or anything and I'm not. It's just like she's trying to which annoys me the most. I don't freaking care about you're new phone. I tried to look happy for her but my other really close - almost best friends who we all hang out together with feel the same way. And this isn't the first time either. She always gets what she wants like that and her parents always give in. And she hates them, oh they always favour my big sister *blank* - (but she only has an iphone 4) I have to work my butt off at my part time job every week, I have to buy most of my new clothes, I have to buy my phones and credit and my other friends are all the same. She does none of that. And her parents don't have that much money. |

So I said how that wasn't true and that you shouldn't believe thay. She obviously got mad at me and it sucks how she gets mad. Everytime she spends money she immediately says I shouldn't do that and how everyone is out to get her. I told her take these situations as a learning experience for next time. She got mad and I told her not to be afraid to fail. Use that failure as a learning experience. She then said that her great grandma died and dog died so everything and everyone is out to get her. I again told her no one is out to get you. I hate how she thinks everything is about her and it brings everyone down. She thinks I am perfect and never cry about anything. That is not true. I try not to take everything as a personal attack against me. I know she has issues and believe me I do too. But I try and focus more on others and not the negative stuff. I need advice on those. All her other friends have said similar stuff and it's annoying. We all have problems. |

So about 7 years. We usually do everything together usually starting from just hanging out to going to the lake or road trips, we do everything together as a group! But recently, ever since last year when freshman year started, they were just kind of off doing they're own thing just the 3 of them, and wouldn't care to invite me to anything. Even the times I would go, I would invite my self! It would start off with just one friend(Let's just call them Sara, Jess, and Hally) Sara would immediately invite Jess and Hally over with no hesitations and when I'm over, they always exclude me. But then when it's just the three of them, I ask why they didn't invite me (but in a way that I don't sounds clingy because I personally do not like people like that), they would usually say they "forgot" or "my parents don't want more then 2 friends over" which is totally a lie because it's always the 4 of us and they would never mind! But I noticed that she's started to change around me. She never really hugged me but now she hugs me at least once every day. I have a cousin and her name is monse and saturday me and monse decided to go get something to eat at burger king. but anyways we got there and i ordered the food and i went to the table we were sitting at and there was a giant window and i felt someone starring at me so i look and Theres a boy about 18 looking at me. so monse looks at him as well, then the boy looks at us like "what?" so we just stopped looking and went about our buisness and the guy disappeared into apartments by burger king. (im assuming he lived there) so i go up and get the food and as i sit down i look up and i see the man coming up at me my eyes just opened wide .. He comes up to me and is like "do you guys know me or something?" I just stayed completely quiet because im a 15 yr old girl and this man came to me abruptly. but anyways then he was like "whats the problem?" I was like theres no problem.. Then he was digging in his pocket and my heart was almost jumping out my chest bc he looked like he was going to hit me or pull out a gun or something and then he walked out .. As he walked out he was like "alright ima bring my homeboys since you think im playing." Im honestly so scared bc what if i see him somewhere something in my head tells me hes looking for me?? ... After this happened i began tearing up because of how he came at me and of how frightened i was. I can't keep the conversation going and it just ends up in a long extremely awkward silence. Conversing with someone us just so scary for me at this point. The worst thing is that my mom pressures me to talk to other people my age and it's just so burdensome. I'm sure that everyone I know thinks I'm boring and no one wants to hang out with me. I don't understand how some people can have conversations so easily and keep the flow going. I wish I was like that. Why do I even exist? Uh this is so frustrating I wish I could hide forever. |

Today my one friend (who wasn t invited along with her sister) asked about it. Apparently the one boy going told her sister (twins). and the rest of the people originally invited don t want them going. The one sister who asked me about it we would all be totally fine with going. but her sister not so much. this is because she is very buddy buddy with another girl going. Plus she did something very bad with one of the boys going. and we don t want them all going. And in other words, we would have an uneven # of boys and girls. so tomorrow i am getting food with the nice sister and she wants to talk about the plan. I don t know how to tell her why we don t want them. Please help!! |

I hated my life I was a normal guy, no mental problems or anything but was constantly called retard, fag though im not gay they just said that to piss me off. I was always like the butt of some joke. People told me that certain others hated me and others ignored me to be popular. I Tryed to talk to people but was constantly brushed off as annoying and laughed. One asshole Tryed to get me to drink piss. I'm in ninth grade now and am still picked on though nothing serious and im not suicidal and have more friends even some of them that hated me then. My life has gotten better though a lot of people ignore me even though I'm not called a fag consistently thank God that stopped. I just wanna know will these assholes grow up? I never did anything to intentionally hurt anyone. All I want is to be remembered positively but that's not going to happen. No one wants to be my friend except for a few real nice people who are amazing thank God for them. Except for them,however, no one finds me funny I have no job no gitlfriend which is something I really want. Any advice you can give me? Will these people stop after high school? |

So I had these 3 friends, and the 2 of them and I hated the other 1 for a summer because she was constantly spreading rumors. We used to do these little things to make her jealous, until we all became friends again. A few weeks ago, I noticed 1 of them doing the same thing we did to the girl we didn't like, and thought I was imagining things, especially when they wouldn't answer our texts. But 1 always talked to me in school, so I assumed nothing of it. Until yesterday when 1 of them asked why I didn't like the other. I denied this and texted the friend she said I didn't like to clear things up. She texted me back saying it was all good, and that the person who I said was going to tell her I didn't like her did her saying I didn't like her, or so she said. I was furious at the friend who texted this, even more when my sister went out to hang with her. But this girl told my sister that the 2 friends who we have been friends with forever, didn't like me and she showed me the texts and the IG direct messages. I wouldn't have believed it if it hadn't all made sense! These girls are the best liars I have ever met, I told everything to the 2, and it seems like the 1 I thought was the mean one, wasn't actually the 1 ganging up on me. The 2 girls still think that I don't know they don't like me. I'd like to keep it that way so I can come up with a plan to get them back / let them know that I know what they've been doing. |

My big sister tells me that they don't really like me because if they did then they would ask me to hangout. Btw we only hanged out 4 or 5 times this whole school year, including 2 birthday parties. I was claiming the mount and my husband was a little far from me, I stopped on river I couldnt passed it, his friend came to me and carried me (cradle carry). he is really strong, tall and muscled,also when we played volleyball he asked me to be with him as a team, then he grabbed me couple to times. I didnt ask him for carrying at all, he did it couple of times, once was it in front of my husband, and he didnt discus it with me! he is also a trainer in gym and he invited me to visit him, he told me that he can take care of my body and shape. Should I answer this invitation? does he has any interested on me? I dont want to open this discussion with husband, but I want to make sure I am not doing wrong. so is that normal to carry friend's wife in trip as a fun? I have no experience! please help me |

I had asked a question today but I need as much clarification as I can get. Today I am in a SUPER tough spot and it's hard to deal with. I am being bullied by a group of kids and they say " get these block people outta my face " just to be rude or something? Is that considered racism? They also post really mean stuff about me on Instagram. My parents know about this now. Unfortunately I'm in summer break so people still feel like they can say stuff. They call m horrible names and my school barely does anything about bullying cause it's just done right horrible. They call me names such as " gay " and " fag " even though I'm strait and can not even consider that. But if this continues., what should I do ?? |
