I guess I thought they would understand and forgive me, but I sense that they aren't okay with me. Years ago he asked me to be in a relationship but I was scared and I didn't want a long distance relationship however we remained close with a few disagreements over the years the caused him and I to NOT speak . Anyhow TODAY him and I were talking this morning and he said something and I remained quiet . He then told me there something underlying about you , I can't pinpoint it so I know it's something . He said our friendship is different than anyone else friendship I have with another female and I don't understand why . He also stated it's like you're forcing yourself / and come off as polished like you're better than me , but then he switched it and said I shouldn't have said that because you're non judgement . I asked him when he feels I do those things to point them out but he said he couldn't explain , as well as saying once he also said on another occasion I come off as deceptive , and the underlying thing came up again. TRUTH: I have feelings for him but I'm scared to say anything because I don't want to be rejected. However I feel that's what he meant by this convo I don't know if he wants to know just to know or he feels the same . |

When I was in the planning process, he told me that he would help make it happen. After I had given out all of the invitations, he told me that he would try to come. A week later, I heard him telling one of our other friends that he isn't a big party person and he might not go to anyone's party. Lately, I've been feeling neglected by him and the girl who he's been spending most of his time with is having a graduation party on the same day as me. At that point, I knew I was in danger of losing him as a friend. We had a falling out yesterday. Today, I had the thought that we might never be friends again and that's when I started to break down. To my surprise, he cared that I was upset about something so we talked about it. We made up and are friends again. I told him that if he would rather go to the other girl's party than mine, I completely understand. He told me that he doesn't know if he's going to anyone's party. I am going to miss him when I graduate and I was hoping that I would get a chance to spend time with him at my party. How can I make my party sound more appealing to him? |

From day 1 he seemed to be singling me out. When we were introducing ourselves he wanted to skip to the back the back of the room where I was so I can introduce myself. The room has about 30ppl and He would also keep making eye contact with me in the back of the room. He even seemed to have a problem I sat in the back of the room. He would make indirect comments I felt were being thrown for me. He keeps giving me the exact same grades. The other day I came into the building 30mins early and he was there getting something to drink. My mind was somewhere else. He saw me coming through the doors and waved Hi to me. I did it half heartedly by accident and I felt bad afterwards. He then brings it up in class about students and professors acknowledging each other. He also keeps studying my face. I had to work in groups and I couldn't understand something he wrote on the board and he came up to me. I was also in private thought about an assignment he was discussing and he calls me out asking me if I'm ok. There's nothing wrong with being concerned, but he seems too interested in my well being. I've been noticing lately too that whenever he see me he looks like he gets happy on the inside. Mind u this person has a life partner. I don't find myself attractive. What's going on? Lastly, every time I hand in my assignments he always thanks me, but I don't really hear him do it to others. Could be wrong. n. I don't want to jump to conclusions. It's just it gets annoying because I feel like he notices everything I do and the man has a partner. Im not into cheating. I just wanna make sure Im on guard of what he's doing. I made friends with two girls (fake names) thier names were molly and annie. So everything has been well but about two month ago i noticed that annie was being mean to everyone.she bossed me and molly around and acted better than us. I didnt realize that she was mean to everyone until 2 months ago. So than alexis started hanging out with two boys named jacob and colby. Molly used to like colby. Annie got really close to them and ditched me and molly for them. So about two weeks ago i told anniei dont want to be her friend and i started ignoring her. So did molly. So jacob and colby have been harrasing me and molly and were sick of it. They throw stuff in our hair at lunch,spit water at us,trip us,go throgh our stuff. I am 16 and the school I currently go to is a very small, intimate school with a really good education. Its difficult but I get a's and b's. The academics are great. However, I have barely have any friends. I'm an outcast at this school. I'm sure if I really tried I could blend in with the others, but they don't really interest me-they are very immature. Everyone is also super competitive and that's just not me. The overall school itself is pretty boring and im not sure if I want to stay here for the rest of high school, so that is when the next school comes into place. This school is bigger than my other school. It's pretty big, so it would be a change from my small town school. I'm pretty familiar with the dynamics of the school and I know many people who go there. It has only a decent education. Also, they seem to be very focused on sports and almost everyone I know who attends plays one, and I don't. Anyway the reason I looked into this school was because of the students and it looks fun. Also my parents are letting me choose where I go but they like this new school a lot, but if I stayed at my current school they wouldn't care either way. Anywho I feel like I would make a lot of friends there. High school would be enjoyable perhaps if I tried it here. And I also want a change-but then again, what if I didn't like it? I have so many questions. I don't take switching schools lightly. I have so many worries Lol...what if I leave this school and end up being an outcast at the other since I don't play sports? Or what if I stay and end up regretting it because Ill have no friends? What if I stay and risk missing out on a fun high school experience? What if I stay and Im missing out on something great? Everything would be fine but a friend who knew how everything actually played out, kind of hinted that friend in what actually happened and now he's asking me how everything actually went. I can't tell the truth now and I'm afraid my other friend won't agree in hiding it. I thought I could maybe tell the friend who knew the truth, that actually I did in the fake way but lied to him because I was ashamed to assume it. I am a single female.One of my roommates got a new job and they will be moving to a new city. I was told that I would need to be out by the 1st of July. Which is fine, I talked to my roommate(she is just a little older than me) and everything seemed fine. Today after I got out of work their little boy came up to me and started talking. At one point he said that "my parents want you to leave" and "everyone thinks you are annoying and stupid" My question is should I think that his parents were saying negative things about me? I am no expert, but I would think that a child that age would not just come out and say something like that without hearing it from someone. I admit that I keep to myself a lot. It is hard for me to feel comfortable enough around others to be sociable, so things can be awkward sometimes. I'm sure that I can give off the impression that I don't want anything to do with people. It's not true, it's just hard for me to communicate. However, it isn't like I never talk to my roommates, just not often. It just kind of surprised me hearing that from my roommates' little boy. I didn't think there was a real problem. Myself and a friend, Jake live about 2 hours from the dock, so we planned to carpool. The day before, Jake texted me that he was going to be out of town for work, and would just meet us at the port. I told him "ok, but be sure to get there by 4. That's when they start boarding." Before leaving, I texted Jake to make sure he had left (he was further away). He said he was getting ready to. I got to our hotel at around 3:30. I text Jake to see where he is. He said that he'll be here in an hour. At 4:30, he says "I'm stuck in traffic, so I'm going to stop and pick up beer for us," I said "You're already way late, don't stop for beer, just hurry up and get here." He said "dude, cruises never leave on time, we're fine." I said "Well just hurry up, Steve is getting antsy." 5 PM comes and I text him "You'd better be parking and running to get to the boat." He says "Still stuck in traffic. Do you want to just skip the cruise and hang out at the bars around the hotel instead?" I said "NO I don't want to hang out at the bars, this is Steve's BACHELOR party. He wants to do something SPECIAL, not just go out to sketchy bars! Sorry, but you're going to be on your own till we get back." Jake missed the cruise. Jake was pissed at me for "excluding" him, and Steve was pissed at me for not making sure Jake got there on time. Like wtf was I supposed to do?? |

We always hang out out of school, and we've all known each other for about 5 years. At one point I left the school, but I came back. Anyways, whenever we hangout now, they always talk about old memories, when I wasn't there. I felt left out. I tried to listen, but every time they mention it, I regret leaving. Besides that, I can't handle them, most of them are negative, and cuss a lot. They complain so much, and I don't like that, since I'm starting to complain a whole lot more than I've ever had. They sometimes make me feel dumb whenever I make mistakes, I mean excuse me for making mistakes. I'm human too. They are very bad influence to me, and I KNOW I'm the "extra" in the group by the way they have been treating me. WHAT DO I DO?! They are the only friends I've got and I am in high school, and everyone else have there own "cliques" already. |

I want to make this summer a great memory for all of us but I don't know what we could do. We don't have a lot of money, we're in a suburban area near an elementary school, and we don't really have anywhere special to go. All of us live right next to each other so it's easy to hang out but that's all we ever do. I would also like to take a lot of pictures for if I do move so I can have pictures of what we did. I really want to do something unforgettable. Any suggestions on what we could do this summer? |

For the past few months I haven't had good friends at school and it really really really sucks:(( I used to have this best friend who I told everything to and talked to 24/7, but for some reason I don't know he stopped talking to me and started hating me. And when I say I don't know, I really have no clue. Since January he has been non-stop talking about me behind my back to my own friends. He's now best friends with this girl who doesn't like me because of some dumb reason (I didn't say hi to her in middle school....??) and whenever I walk past they whisper and laugh. I've tried talking to my ex bestfriend but he always says no. To make it worse, all of my friends stopped hanging out with me to be with them and they never stick up for me. I've brought up how it bothers me to my friends but they say to just ignore it and they never change anything. Everyone else in school already has their group of friends and I'm bad at talking to new people so I can't just drop them (Plus it's hard for me to let go of my friends anyways). Also my ex bestfriend is really popular and probably got half our grade to hate me:(( I want to just move on and not care about what they say but it's hard to since they're the reason nobody will talk to me since other people don't like me. I can't talk to a single one of my friends and it's really effecting me emotionally! Please help! |

Her social life isn't the same as mine, and she doesn't have as much... friends. Over the summer, I read a bunch of teen fiction and it was like... everything I had ever done was stupid and I needed a change. My clothing, talking, and basically everything was suddenly so important. When it was school again, my friend was the same person, but I was completely different. My attire was different and she changed hers after she saw me. I'm in basically ALL her classes, and we always have to b partners. I told her I got a treadmill and was going to run a lot everyday to get in shape. And I told her how I work out and lift. She answered that it was stupid and whatever recently she told me that she was going to work out an hr a day and ask for a treadmill... I started wearing makeup... She told me it was ridiculous and I wasn't some sort of beauty queen and she was never going to wear make up A few weeks later she started... also, the fact is, there's nothing interesting to talk to her about. She hates movies, tv shows, music, and basically everything that I LIVE FOR!! All she does is talk about school and grades and.... SHE'S GETTING SO ANNOYING AND I CAN'T HELP FEELING LIKE THIS!! I know it's bad, and I don't know what to do! If I confront her she's going to pretend she has no idea what I'm talking about and get really upset!! Please help me - I know I'm a bad person |

Posted: 03 Jun 2015 02:42 PM PDT So I've known this guy since I was like five and we've always kinda been friends, but recently we've started seeing more of each other at parties and outings and stuff, and we started to get to be really good friends. We've shared a lot with each other and Skype daily, usually for around 2 hours. If we can't skype, we usually end up texting each other late into the night. He's a freshman and I'm a sophomore and he's really shy around girls, but since we've known each other forever he is comfortable around me and we are pretty much best friends. (Btw when we Skype we are both usually playing games, but we keep up a good conversation.) Anyway is this normal?? |

Me, my brother, and other friend have been getting really annoyed with this friend for a while now because he always has a negative attitude, he s really arrogant and thinks he is better than all of us, and also talks way too much about Elliott Rodger. He also for some reason has to keep everything private and never can play Airsoft with the rest of us and always finds a way out of playing. I talked to my mom about how annoying he has been and she said she didn t like him from the start and that she would run from him while we can. Would it be a good idea to try to distance ourselves away from him this summer and hopefully just quit talking? Also how should I go about a group chat that I have with him, my brother, other friend who is annoyed with him, and 2 other friends? While the first few videos got three or so likes (not amazing but it s something), the most recent post, a link to a new song on soundcloud, got over 20 likes, but only when I shared on my own personal profile. However, this also meant that we got no likes on the original post on the page, which is where we really want to be getting all the attention -- otherwise it looks pretty bad when people discover our page. How do I get people to like the posts on the page instead of only liking it if I share it? Thanks in advance :) |

I live like 25-35 minutes away from them. The biggest problem is, I can't invite them to my house (long story), so I can't just invite over or invite them for a sleepover. So what i can think of is the movies, the mall (ehh), the beach (but I live near the beach, so their parents would have to drive like them 30 minutes), and maybe like a water park or six flags (like only once, we those are like 2 hours away) it's just I'm starting to feel anxious that I'm not hanging out with anyone really.. I mean any suggestions on places I could invite them? |

Posted: 03 Jun 2015 01:58 PM PDT So I'm in middle school and at my school there are different "levels " (based on difficulty of material, the idea is the more intelligent you are the higher your "level") and I do the highest level. After each year the classes of the same "level" are mixed up so everyone meets new people. The problem is, as there is only one class that does the highest level, my class doesn't get mixed up, so I never really meet new kids. I do have quite a few friends in my class and at sport clubs (outside of school) but I only have one friend I actually hang out with... Is that normal? And what could I do to meet new people at school? I should probably add that I'm shy aswell Also I'm sorry if it's hard to understand, it's hard to explain the like "levels".. Idk what to call them |

To get in I has to take the SAT as a sophomore and get teacher recommendations. I was telling my friends about it. All my other friends congratulated me.She of course had to say that she too got in but didn t want to go. I told her that I didn t know she applied. She said to me that she didn t apply. She told me she didn t have to do anything to get in, that they let her in. Right then I knew she was lying to me but I just let it get to me. She does things like that all the time. How can I respond next time? P.S. This is just to give you more details about this friend. She went to Prom this year with her older boyfriend and got a spray tan before she went. And being her, she made comments about how she looked so much better than me because I was pale. And she told me how a stranger in Walmart told her she looked Mexican. |

Posted: 03 Jun 2015 01:28 PM PDT ok so I have been friends with this girl for about 7 years now she is now 13 and I just turned 15 I know I know we are at different maturity levels and that may be one of the problems but it has never got in our way before. so we have been best friends and have gone though a lot together basically the perfect friendship for about 6 years yes we still fought but we made up very quickly. she lived across the street from me so we would hangout after she got out of school (I was homeschooled) so anyways things started getting rocky when she moved. she was only about 2 hours away we planed on trying to see each other once a month and that worked for about 2 months then she stopped trying to talk to me I know she got new friends at her new school and I was very happy for her and I understand that she needs to hangout with them and build strong relationships with them but doing this she kind of started fading away from me. she would be very short with me in texting and would not talk to me as often and when she would come to visit my city she wouldn't tell me and she would go see her other friends who apparently she never liked when she lived here but now they like each other and those friends are sometimes fake to her and it really hurts me I don't want her to have to go though that and when she dose come over she is always texting her friends or some guy she likes and when we plan for her to stay the weekend with us she will find a way to leave early. no we don't force her into anything she used to stay with us all the time when she lived here and she was fine. our families still like each other but I just feel like she is fading away I don't want that to happen but I don't know how to bring this up to her when ever she dose have an actual conversation with me (which doesn't happen much) she will act like nothing is wrong and like I'm her best friend again which is really weird because right when that's over she leaves me again how do I bring this up to her? I want to try to fix things before I just block her out and I have tried fixing myself and nothing seams to change sorry this question is all over the place but please try to answer |
