I want to propose to my girlfriend soon, but my parents think I am too young and that I haven't had time to experience life on my own yet. I'm 20 years old and I have been homeschooled all my life, plus I am going into the Air Force soon. My goal is to propose to her after basic training. What should I do?

He shared with me how they indirectly joked him by sharing about all the sexual details that they had with me and also showed him some of sex pictures of me thereby disturbing him more.....but as he is amodest and non violent person did'nt react to them and left from the place with smile...but after returning home he is always busy thinking something in his mind which I noticed and enquired about it...at first he did'nt share and just gave a smile and said "everything is fine", and on every night he either sleeps in sofa while watching tv, or sometimes simple lies in our bed without doing any romance and even turns me down politely ,which was strange as he was not like that before, then after I became sure I further pressed about the matter and then with tears in his eys and heavy heart he shared what happened with him to me, and I felt so bad for him as for my past choices he has to face that and unlike other husbands he did'nt misbehaved nor mistreated me...at the same time I felt very angry with my ex FWD's who hurted my noble kind hearted husband...n tried to destroy my marriage....now as per his situation he said he cant get intimate with me as it reminds him of those pictures and videos and the words they said which occupied his brain and the insult that he felt and also takes the blame on himself that its his issues,..but he still tries to be polite with me...but he cant. I cant see him suffer like that...so please help what can I do to help him feel better?

Back in the 70s, 80s,90s, my relatives held their wedding and reception in the same city so everyone could attend Now, their adult children are choosing wedding-reception 50 miles away which is leaving people out. Why has this changed with the younger generation

I have eleven close cousins and four that I am not close to. The four I am not close to are from the same aunt-uncle so just one family in the extended family. Our grandparents have died. The four not close to me have parents them seldom come to family celebrations due to an old conflict though their mother has been a little better about coming but her kids are seldom with her.
