Posted: 20 Apr 2019 05:22 PM PDT I've been having panic attacks all my life but they've been really bad last couple months. I don't have a lot of friends. And I love talking to people I like, listening, understanding, but I'm 26 and one of my friends from work is moving away. We had lunch together, talked all the time, but he's moving across country and I don't want to lose contact with him. Same thing with this girl. She says we're friends, if I type about my panic attacks on social media she'll ask what's wrong and says she there for me. Is it wrong of me to ask them "hey can we still keep in touch when you move?" Is that putting them on the spot? I just, my heart feels like it breaking all the time I love these friends even if we only see each other at work . I'm probably sound so stupid |
Question: Why does everyone talk to each other in this fake and sickening way? Posted: 20 Apr 2019 04:44 PM PDT I hate how people talk to each other these days. It makes me want to throw up. |
Question: Are these signs this guy likes me? Posted: 20 Apr 2019 04:30 PM PDT This guy keeps looking at me from across the classroom when I am not looking and we make eye contact occasionally. He would also adjust his hair and he would mirror my body language. He also keeps adjusting his seat whenever someone was blocking in between me and him in class. |
Question: Break up with my toxic best friend of 10 years & how ? Posted: 20 Apr 2019 04:17 PM PDT Help me. So I had this best friend for 10 years now. We shared a lot of stuff. Pretty much closer to her than my other friends & recently I went on this holiday with her for a week & after that week nothings been the same. I find her toxic and irratating. And I am always angry at her. It feels like she does everything to show off to her Snapchat . She lies through her teeth about everything I know I sound like a crazy girl just here to vent but I think I want to break up with her. But then there's the whole we have been best friends for 10 years. I will miss her. It will be weird. Plus I don't have many friends I have like 5 friends like literally so my circle. Is there a fix to our friendship or do I break up with her |

Question: Do you youngsters understand? Posted: 20 Apr 2019 02:33 PM PDT Youngsters these days complaining over the littlest things. Acting like they got it rough. Back in my day we didn't have technology. When I was kid I didn't have a vehicle. I had to walk 8 miles to school carrying 100lbs. And majority of the times I was walking to school or home it was pouring down rain. And where I lived my house was on a hill and I had to climb a ladder 75feet. |
Question: How can I stop my friend from oversharing about their sex life? Posted: 20 Apr 2019 02:32 PM PDT So to clarify I m a pretty "sex repulsed" individual. I don t know why. Every time i think about having a potential sexual relationship with someone, my insides shrivel up and I feel very strongly that that would be a bad thing. I can t explain it better than that. My friend is pretty much my polar opposite on this topic. I try to be respectful and supportive when they talk about their partner, but they just tell me whatever they want, and although I ve expressed that I d prefer not to talk about things like that in length, they tell me anyway? We re both seniors in high school, and I really want to be this person s friend, but they make me so uncomfortable when they do this. They re usually very respectful of the fact that I get uncomfortable easily, so I don t know what changed... |

Question: My best friend is still friends with my ex who treated me horribly? Posted: 20 Apr 2019 12:46 PM PDT I met my ex through my best friend. My ex and I had a toxic relationship. He treated me very poorly. He took advantage of me one night while drunk, would "jokingly" tell me I ll I was good for was sex, etc. I would cry all the time, and get drunk to forget because I was in such much pain. Thankfully, I got out of the relationship. But my best friend is still friends with him, even though she knows everything. I would never straight up tell her you can't be friends with him, but I feel like she isn't being the greatest friend with such disloyalty. What do you think? |
Posted: 20 Apr 2019 12:43 PM PDT At first it came up, and asked me if I could be its friend. I said yes because i didnt want to hurt its feelings, and now he always wants to talk, and now he starting to come up, and punching me. You know? Like friends do? It's getting a little annoying, but I dont want to hurt his feeling. What should I say? |
Question: Is it normal I haven't hung out with friends outside of school in 3 years? Posted: 20 Apr 2019 12:01 PM PDT So, I have good friends I guess. But I only hang out with them in school. The last time I hung out with people outside of school was in 8th grade. We went to see spiderman homecoming and get pizza after and make me pay for a whole pie and it was a huge mess. Another time I remember I went ice skating after this girl asked me on SNAPCHAT to go we weren't even close friends. I was desparate and said yeah. WORST MISTAKE. I didnt know how to skate and I was buttscooting while they were ahead of me and I felt like crap. my "closest" friend now barely even responds to my texts and carries on a conversation. I brought up hanging out with her before but never talked about it again. Iv'e only been to one sleepover in like 6th grade. I'm in this group now but I literally can't stand them. They dress like thots and one of them stalks and wants to marry this guy from a boy band. Right now it's spring break and it's been so boring. Everyone on instagram went on vacation some even went with their friends and It seems like fun. But nooo I'm stuck in my room like a fat a** all day. Any advice will help |
Question: When do you give up on someone? Posted: 20 Apr 2019 11:54 AM PDT |
Question: Should I tell him about this? Posted: 20 Apr 2019 10:58 AM PDT My friend mentioned in a conversation a couple days ago that process server was looking for him, so he thinks there's a bill he missed. I told him they'll eventually get him, and he said he knows. I wanted to help him out, so I looked up court records to see who might be after him so I can give him a heads-up. Turns out his ex-wife has reopened their divorce case. I don't think he knows because he said he thought it was from an old bill or something. I didn't tell him I was going to look it up. I assumed it would be a minor thing like he thought and would be no big deal to tell him. Now I'm afraid to tell him because what if he's mad that I looked it up and found that? The possibility that he committed fraud in his divorce aside, should I warn him? Or should I just wait and let him find out? Gut reaction is to tell the truth and support my friend, but I'm afraid I'll get thrown under the bus for trying to help. What should I do? |
Question: Is this a sign she lied to me? Posted: 20 Apr 2019 10:42 AM PDT My friends and I went to a restaurant, my crush shown up to the restaurant. My friends were really rude towards him, threatening to beat him up/slap him, judging his clothes and hair color. They know I like him and they never met him. I know he was with his guy best friend and his best friend's family.....my friend claimed he was with a group of girls, which I know for a fact he wasn't. Then she changed it to he was with his guy best friend and his family.....she was making a big deal about it. Since I know he was with his guy best friend and family....I know he wasn't with a group of girls. I feel my friend lied to me....about it. |
Question: What pun should i put on a poster for my friend’s name? Posted: 20 Apr 2019 10:31 AM PDT My friend's name is Roland Noy and I want to make a senior night poster for him. what pun can you think of with his name in it? |

Question: Why do girls pick on other girls? Posted: 20 Apr 2019 07:49 AM PDT I dont understand it. I dont worry about what anyone else is doing or what they look like. I could care less. At work these girls just stand and stare at me or gossip about me everyday. One girl would stare at me all day and just talk about me to everyone. I can hear them even though they are whispering. If i make one mistake, they run to tell everyone. I just started this job and none of the girls wanna help me. Some of them even teach me the wrong things on purpose because they dont want me working there so they want me to get in trouble. I had to deal with a same incident like this in high school. These 3 girls would pick on me all the time and got people (usually guys) to embarrass me in front of the whole school. All they do is talk about themselves and how good they look. |
Question: What is this girls problem with me? Posted: 20 Apr 2019 05:28 AM PDT I distanced myself from a friend who was bullying me. She was angry at me, snapping at me and treated me like a doormat. I ignored her messages and she showed up at my social group weeks later. She was glaring at me as if she wanted to kill me that night then she made an indirect comment about friends who stab other friends in the back. Then I felt guilty, so I let her back into my life. Since then, I feel like she has tried to turn me against my group of close friends and isolated me away from them. I was getting on very well with the group. I messaged the group asking if we could all put together a gift for someone's birthday. She never replied but everyone else on the group did and people said it was a great idea. Then, the next day she showed up with an even bigger gift Then on the day of the birthday I got all dressed up and she saw me and said 'you look like a princess, you always have lots of nice dresses' and she kept asking to take photos of me. She stuck to me the entire day and made sure I couldn't speak to anyone else. When I went over to speak to my friend, she was stood behind me glaring at me I had a photo with her and she said sarcastically 'you always look so nice in photos you make me look like garbage stood next to you Then when I was stood with everyone else, she invited the guy who I like to her house for champagne in front of me What is her problem with me? |

Question: Will I get expelled out of school of doing something terribly bad, but outside of school.? Posted: 20 Apr 2019 12:41 AM PDT Me and my friend went outside of the school property and we just kinda had a playdate. Then we found e-cigs and we didnt know that they were e cigs. We tried opening the object until I put it in my mouth and inhaled accidently. And I started coughing and smoke was coming outta my mouth. My friend did the same thing . And then my friend saw some little girls that were kind of our friends and inivited them. I told him why would you do that. They saw us inhaling that by accident and thought we were smoking. We told them many times the story but they wouldnt believe. And we told them to go away since they were on our property. After a while we took knives and showed them to these girls. The girls were actually 1 year younger than us. So we brought out teh knives but we didnt go up to their faces and try to like cut them. We took the knives and put it on a table. And then they went away. After that the girls started to cry and told their siblings. My friends came to me all mad and blaming me for doing this. As I realized I was starting to shake and faint because I was so scared. I wanted to say a big sorry for taking knives out. But they were at my property and they didnt want to leave. And now my friend that was their, blamed everything on me. That I forced him to smoke and that I pulled knives and and try to cut them. As if he was innocent. Even tho after he saw me cough and smoke come out of my mouth he still took a hit of that vape. What should i do, will the school expel me? |
Question: Do most people talk bad about eachother? Posted: 19 Apr 2019 11:49 PM PDT I feel like I ruined a friendship by looking at one of her text conversations. She talked bad abt me a few times. I mostly got upset because she told her other friend( who she also talks badly about) that she's making her have to hang out with me. She also told her about A time I got upset because when I vent to her she changes the subject meanwhile I try to be there for her when goes through her issues. She did kind of put effort into that but I felt bad that she told her friend that I shouldn't vent to her then. She also said she wouldn't go out to eat with me on a day I was supposed to receive my debit card in the mail and still didn't receive it. She said to her friend she didn't want to have to harass me for $40 . When a few years ago I paid for her vacation. I feel I messed everything up for reading the conversation. I then told her off and blocked her. Now I feel horrible . |
Question: Why do you have to explain nicely to people that they hurt you? Posted: 19 Apr 2019 11:44 PM PDT I feel like people end up hurting or doing mean things then they get upset when I explode. Then I'm left feeling like they don't even care since they don't apologize. I don't get it. Or maybe it's just hard for people to admit they did something wrong . |
Question: Is it normal for me to have no friends other than my mom? Posted: 19 Apr 2019 11:37 PM PDT I"m 21 already |
Question: My best friend doesn't trust me and it hurts? Posted: 19 Apr 2019 09:39 PM PDT We met a work a few years ago and automatically clicked. When we went separate ways professionally we still kept in touch and hung out whenever we could. She and I considered each other sisters. We're roommates as well. But twice now she's proven that she doesn't trust me. A while ago her daughter went into my room and stole my broken phone. She wasn't supposed to have a phone but was posting inappropriate pictures and whatnot which eventually got her caught. My best friend was showing me posts and messages and I swear I did not recognize the phone because I replaced it months prior and never looked at it again. She figured out it was my old phone and automatically accused me of giving her daughter the phone. She stormed out and said she'd didn't believe I didn't give her the phone. She was still accusing me when she came home but luckily her son heard me begging the daughter to fix things got the daughter to admit to stealing. Then tonight my bf had his sister over and as far as I knew she was only staying a couple of hours. My roommate was eavesdropping and heard them discussing her staying the night. She then calls me a liar and gets pissed anyone is staying the night here. I explained I had no idea until the bf told me seconds before her tearing into me. I've never done anything to not be trusted so this hurts. I've come to the point that I'm looking into apartments to move out asap. Am I overreacting? Should I be the one to try to fix it? |

Question: Why she likes to copy everything I do, I am so annoyed and stressed right now? Posted: 19 Apr 2019 08:10 PM PDT OMG my childhood friend, literally likes doing everything I do. I get piercing, she gets the same ones. I buy a dress, she buys the same dress. I put flowers on my hair, she does the same. I put jewellery on my head, she does the same. I enrolled a program in school, she joined. I dropped out of school, she dropped out of school. We have some common friends and some of our family members are friends with each other. I was so stressed out lately so I joined a spiritual group to guide me through life, she is doing the same now. Why she likes to copy me? her and her friend follow me everywhere. Like can they leave me alone. I am so stressed out in life and copying is adding to my stress |
Question: Why does my mom not want me to make ends? Posted: 19 Apr 2019 08:04 PM PDT I have am autistic have depression and I self harm (I'm around 4-5 months clean) I am also homeschooled, my mom doesn't let me have social media but a few months ago I secretly opened an Instagram account and made a friend name Stephanie, She was like the best friend ever. She is also autistic and self harms She's the only reason I stopped cutting, we used to stay up until 2 am texting when we wanted to cut distracting ourselves and would FaceTime for hours venting/ranting about our days, it was nice to talk to someone we exchanged phone numbers after messaging and FaceTiming through insta for about 3 months and right after that my mom decides to go through my texts and finds out that I'm messaging another girl and freaks out yelling about how I'm hanging out with autistic whores and that I'm a f@gg0t and etc, then she tells me to delete the insta account because she doesn't want old men following me (the account was private and only had celebrities, brands and a few long distance friends who I have FaceTimed with and now are not old kinky men as followers/following) so I delete it and now I'm all alone, with my deep dark thoughts about how I have no friends now at all and the fact that ya know I want to die but ya know sadly that's not an "appropriate" thought. I'm alone and I have no one to to talk to, Stephanie is the only reason I didn't commit suicide before, but now I have nothing to stop me, should I reach out to Stephanie again? What should I do about my crazy mother? Friends not ends lol sorry |
Question: Is it weird that he dropped by when he never does? Posted: 19 Apr 2019 08:00 PM PDT I've had this friend for 2 years. He's 39, married with a family. I'm 28, engaged, no kids. He used to be my boss, but we no longer work together or at the same company anymore. We now go to the same church (he invited me after he left our old job and I've been going ever since.) I wouldn't say we're SUPER close, but in his mind, I think of him and his family as my family and I've told him that. He and his wife have helped me out a lot and I have done special things for them and their kids. My fiance is convinced I have a crush on my friend, although I admitted to having one on him in the past. He's convinced I still do and often refers to my friend as my "boyfriend". Irrelevant, but his son has been in the hospital for a week (nothing too serious, he's getting out soon). My fiance and I went down to visit them and to bring his son a card and to bring the family some food. My fiance was secretly a little bothered by the whole thing because he's under this impression I'd do anything for my friend. My friend recently got a new truck after driving the same little car for years. Keep in mind, he has NEVER come to my work, except for when I first started working there but I was somewhere else in the store and didn't get to see him. Today, he unexpectedly came through my job's drive-thru and although I wasn't working drive-thru, I still saw him and went over to talk to him for a minute. He was in his new truck. My fiance is convinced he wanted to show off his new truck to me. I HAVE noticed that whenever we're alone together, he mentions often how much he makes or how good of an employee he is. Is it weird that he dropped by when he got his new truck, when he NEVER drops by normally? Do you think he was trying to show off? I'll admit I do give him a lot of attention, but it's not intentional. |
Question: I don’t have a best friend. Would really like one? Posted: 19 Apr 2019 07:57 PM PDT Making friends is easy. But a best friend? I never really thought about it much. I just always thought, yeah, at least I have friends. It's nice having so many different groups to talk to. I'm able to do different things and keep myself busy. Until I realized I can't call any of these current friends a BEST friend. When I was younger, much younger, I guess you could say I had the closest thing to a "best friend." This person was fake though and we eventually stopped talking altogether due to major problems in our friendship. And before that, I had a few "best friends" for years. We also drifted apart. Recently (like the last 3 years) I've had no best friend. Yeah, my phone might be buzzing a lot and I might feel like I have people. But no one I'm extremely close with. No one who I have deep, meaningful convos with. Now that I think of, I have pretty generic and shallow convos with all of my friends and that's just how we are. We hang out a lot, we do stuff, but it's never felt like a memory you'd make with a BEST friend, you know? I don't know. What I'm saying is. I'd like a best friend. Or a best group of friends. But Ik it's not easy for anyone to find likeminded, compatible people to be besties with. Tips?? |
Question: I'm attracted to both of my best friends, sexually. what should I do? Posted: 19 Apr 2019 07:47 PM PDT we've been best friends since forever and I just can't get either of them out of my head. I really need help. I don't want to end our friendships but I can't help it. and I don't even know if either of them are gay. yes, thank you Anonymous. that's definitely the most helpful thing to say. we don't really talk about sexuality and stuff. I don't really know why this would help. But we're guys. What should I say? How will I know? What if both of them end up hating me for it? |
Question: My best friend likes to pretend she is a mom? Posted: 19 Apr 2019 07:42 PM PDT My best friend has grown up with her fair share of responsibility, she claims that this amount of responsibility has given her the right tell me and everyone else how to raise their children. I am trying to help a friend in need of baby items, I don't have her number so I asked my friend to relay the info. She got angry with me because I don't consider gripe water to be a main necessity for a 7 month old. Tylenol, clothes, and diapers were my main priority. I only have so much money and I have to think about shipping costs. She got angry with me and went off listing facts about gripe water and Mylicon drops. How "9 years olds still use Mylicon drops". I get tired of her trying to "school" me so I told her "you're right, you've had 2 kids, so you win." I wasn't willing to argue about medicine drops. Of course she sent me paragraphs about how I insulted her, how she raised 4 children, how she can't have children. I've heard the story a million times and I have no doubt that she is great with children. I just get tired of her crossing boundaries and telling me what I should and shouldn't do with my children. She may understand certain children's needs, but she lacks maternal instincts. She also lacks respect and boundaries that are kind of an unspoken rule of being a mother. I just get the feeling she does this because she's resentful towards my kids. But she doesn't understand that I am here because of them. I just don't know what to do about this anymore. |
Question: Could going to this church possibly work + comfortably? Posted: 19 Apr 2019 07:21 PM PDT There's this church in the area I've been interested in joining for some months now. There's a lot of young 20-something's around my age and they're very welcoming of everyone. I want to attend, but the thing is I'm a loner and don't have anyone to accompany me there. I don't wanna be the awkward shy girl there standing around and not knowing who to talk to. Any tips for how to make this work? |
Question: Why would she do this? Posted: 19 Apr 2019 06:16 PM PDT I have this friend, I'll call her Ari. Trying to figure out if there's anything more going on. She's always been extroverted, outgoing, kinda quirky. She gets a lot of attention from guys and she's a stoner. We've always been close, able to hang out one-on-one, not just in the friend group, and share secrets. But we're different people. I'm shy, inexperienced, quiet. Never dated anyone. So I didn't think about of it. This year though, it kinda feels like Ari's flirting with me. Tagging me in her Instagram updates, saying stuff like "So why weren't you here? <3" When the friend group has sleepovers and play music, she always wants to dance with me. When we camp out on the floor, she usually sleeps beside me and even cuddles me sometimes. I mean, she's an affectionate person, I've seen her cuddle others. Everyone found out via truth or dare that I've never watched porn or masturbated. Thankfully, they're nice and didn't laugh at me, but Ari was surprised and encouraged me to try. We were talking on the phone later, and she brought it up again. Somehow talking me into trying, surprising me by saying "Tell you what, just imagine me, if it's easier, okay?" She started moaning to "help" me and I ended up doing it. Haven't seen her in person since, but we've been texting like everything's the same. Is it the same? I still can't believe that happened. I know she's outgoing but why would she do that? |
Question: Is he interested in me? Posted: 19 Apr 2019 04:22 PM PDT We have been chatting for 6 months. We don't hang out but he has been asking if I am dating and what is my type or what kind of guy are you looking for. When I look at him from distance he looks away, what does that mean? I really like him and we share a great chemistry. |
