I've been having panic attacks all my life but they've been really bad last couple months. I don't have a lot of friends. And I love talking to people I like, listening, understanding, but I'm 26 and one of my friends from work is moving away. We had lunch together, talked all the time, but he's moving across country and I don't want to lose contact with him. Same thing with this girl. She says we're friends, if I type about my panic attacks on social media she'll ask what's wrong and says she there for me. Is it wrong of me to ask them "hey can we still keep in touch when you move?" Is that putting them on the spot? I just, my heart feels like it breaking all the time I love these friends even if we only see each other at work . I'm probably sound so stupid

Youngsters these days complaining over the littlest things. Acting like they got it rough. Back in my day we didn't have technology. When I was kid I didn't have a vehicle. I had to walk 8 miles to school carrying 100lbs. And majority of the times I was walking to school or home it was pouring down rain. And where I lived my house was on a hill and I had to climb a ladder 75feet.

So to clarify I m a pretty "sex repulsed" individual. I don t know why. I met my ex through my best friend. My ex and I had a toxic relationship. He treated me very poorly. He took advantage of me one night while drunk, would "jokingly" tell me I ll I was good for was sex, etc. I would cry all the time, and get drunk to forget because I was in such much pain. My friend mentioned in a conversation a couple days ago that process server was looking for him, so he thinks there's a bill he missed. I told him they'll eventually get him, and he said he knows. I wanted to help him out, so I looked up court records to see who might be after him so I can give him a heads-up. Turns out his ex-wife has reopened their divorce case. I don't think he knows because he said he thought it was from an old bill or something. I didn't tell him I was going to look it up. Now that i'm older and live in a city where I don't know anyone I find it hard to make good long lasting friends. I dont understand it. I dont worry about what anyone else is doing or what they look like. I could care less. At work these girls just stand and stare at me or gossip about me everyday. One girl would stare at me all day and just talk about me to everyone. I can hear them even though they are whispering. If i make one mistake, they run to tell everyone. I just started this job and none of the girls wanna help me. Some of them even teach me the wrong things on purpose because they dont want me working there so they want me to get in trouble. I had to deal with a same incident like this in high school. These 3 girls would pick on me all the time and got people (usually guys) to embarrass me in front of the whole school. All they do is talk about themselves and how good they look.

I distanced myself from a friend who was bullying me. She was angry at me, snapping at me and treated me like a doormat. I ignored her messages and she showed up at my social group weeks later. Me and my friend went outside of the school property and we just kinda had a playdate. Then we found e-cigs and we didnt know that they were e cigs. We tried opening the object until I put it in my mouth and inhaled accidently. And I started coughing and smoke was coming outta my mouth. My friend did the same thing . I feel like I ruined a friendship by looking at one of her text conversations. She talked bad abt me a few times. I mostly got upset because she told her other friend( who she also talks badly about) that she's making her have to hang out with me. She also told her about A time I got upset because when I vent to her she changes the subject meanwhile I try to be there for her when goes through her issues. Then tonight my bf had his sister over and as far as I knew she was only staying a couple of hours. My roommate was eavesdropping and heard them discussing her staying the night. She then calls me a liar and gets pissed anyone is staying the night here. I explained I had no idea until the bf told me seconds before her tearing into me. I've never done anything to not be trusted so this hurts. I've come to the point that I'm looking into apartments to move out asap. Am I overreacting? Should I be the one to try to fix it?

I've had this friend for 2 years. He's 39, married with a family. I'm 28, engaged, no kids. He used to be my boss, but we no longer work together or at the same company anymore. We now go to the same church (he invited me after he left our old job and I've been going ever since.) I wouldn't say we're SUPER close, but in his mind, I think of him and his family as my family and I've told him that. He and his wife have helped me out a lot and I have done special things for them and their kids. My friend recently got a new truck after driving the same little car for years. Keep in mind, he has NEVER come to my work, except for when I first started working there but I was somewhere else in the store and didn't get to see him. Today, he unexpectedly came through my job's drive-thru and although I wasn't working drive-thru, I still saw him and went over to talk to him for a minute. He was in his new truck. My fiance is convinced he wanted to show off his new truck to me. I HAVE noticed that whenever we're alone together, he mentions often how much he makes or how good of an employee he is. Is it weird that he dropped by when he got his new truck, when he NEVER drops by normally? Do you think he was trying to show off? I'll admit I do give him a lot of attention, but it's not intentional.

Making friends is easy. But a best friend? I never really thought about it much. I just always thought, yeah, at least I have friends. It's nice having so many different groups to talk to. I'm able to do different things and keep myself busy. Until I realized I can't call any of these current friends a BEST friend. When I was younger, much younger, I guess you could say I had the closest thing to a "best friend." This person was fake though and we eventually stopped talking altogether due to major problems in our friendship. And before that, I had a few "best friends" for years. We also drifted apart. My best friend has grown up with her fair share of responsibility, she claims that this amount of responsibility has given her the right tell me and everyone else how to raise their children. I am trying to help a friend in need of baby items, I don't have her number so I asked my friend to relay the info. She got angry with me because I don't consider gripe water to be a main necessity for a 7 month old. Tylenol, clothes, and diapers were my main priority. I only have so much money and I have to think about shipping costs. She got angry with me and went off listing facts about gripe water and Mylicon drops. How "9 years olds still use Mylicon drops". I get tired of her trying to "school" me so I told her "you're right, you've had 2 kids, so you win." I wasn't willing to argue about medicine drops. Of course she sent me paragraphs about how I insulted her, how she raised 4 children, how she can't have children. I've heard the story a million times and I have no doubt that she is great with children. I just get tired of her crossing boundaries and telling me what I should and shouldn't do with my children. She may understand certain children's needs, but she lacks maternal instincts. She also lacks respect and boundaries that are kind of an unspoken rule of being a mother. I just get the feeling she does this because she's resentful towards my kids. But she doesn't understand that I am here because of them. I just don't know what to do about this anymore.

I have this friend, I'll call her Ari. Trying to figure out if there's anything more going on. She's always been extroverted, outgoing, kinda quirky.
