Question: Can a man’s style help get a woman’s attention? Posted: 22 Apr 2019 07:20 AM PDT If he's average looking. Nothing whacky but something that is put together nicely and shows effort |
Question: Why is this girl trying to exclude me from my social group? Posted: 22 Apr 2019 03:14 AM PDT I distanced myself from a friend who was bullying me. She was angry at me, snapping at me and treated me like a doormat. I ignored her messages and she showed up at my social group weeks later. She was glaring at me as if she wanted to kill me that night then she made an indirect comment about friends who stab other friends in the back. Then I felt guilty, so I let her back into my life. Since then, I feel like she has tried to turn me against my group of close friends and isolated me away from them. I was getting on very well with the group. I messaged the group asking if we could all put together a gift for someone's birthday. She never replied but everyone else on the group did and people said it was a great idea. Then, the next day she showed up with an even bigger gift Then on the day of the birthday I got all dressed up and she saw me and said 'you look like a princess, you always have lots of nice dresses' and she kept asking to take photos of me. She stuck to me the entire day and made sure I couldn't speak to anyone else. When I went over to speak to my friend, she was stood behind me glaring at me I had a photo with her and she said sarcastically 'you always look so nice in photos you make me look like garbage stood next to you Then when I was stood with everyone else, she invited the guy who I like to her house for champagne in front of me What is her problem with me? |
Posted: 22 Apr 2019 01:13 AM PDT I am engaged to a great guy. However, he says some pretty insensitive. He came to visit recently and I told him I found out my sister has my taking my shirts. He said he wouldn't understand why because they would be more of a nightgown for her than a shirt. That really got me down so I drank quite a bit to help get over that. Then after I finished working a long shift I came home to see him completely drunk. I had to take care of him for the night since he was sick. We started a discussion later on about me taking birth control and I told him we still need to use condoms. He got upset (which is because he was sick) and said the whole point of birth control was to not get pregnant without condoms. I keep telling him its not 100 percent effective. Should i talk to him about all this or should I just leave it alone? |
Posted: 21 Apr 2019 08:55 PM PDT The only instances which I've ever been kissed were by my family members and I allow them to kiss me without being responsive. I've never had a girlfriend or been in an intimate relationship. The closest I came to kissing anyone was during middle school when I had a minimal social life and did attend parties and truth or dare games and I would always pull out and just pretend that I kissed her. I have physical health conditions and mental illness which are red flags to most girls from the moment they realize it or find out. My parents offered to get me a prostitute for my 21st birthday and it didn't work out as we planned. I generally see sexual intercourse as impure and filthy. This question is real. if you respond by telling me that you don't believe me then you are just insulting me. And I am not gay for a male and have never questioned this ever except I've considered transgender lesbianism at times. Thanks I always perceived the the act of sex as borderline outrageous, primitive, and inhumane. Like there must be more to life than this. Should I keep staying away from it or try getting a prostitute again now that another decade has gone by and what advice could you give me at this point? Thanks |
Question: What are your thoughts? Posted: 21 Apr 2019 07:49 PM PDT When I was an 18 year old Australian foreign exchange student studying abroad in East Asia, one of my classmates and best friends was a really smart Japanese girl named Misora. She was highly fluent in English and in French and she helped so much through the language barrier during my first time in Japan before I gradually became conversant in the Japanese language. She was very sweet and helpful, but she had really strict and dare I say even controlling parents who shunned her. They wanted her to study and become fluent in the Mandarin Chinese and Korean languages because of the many similarities between those two languages and the Japanese language. But Misora had very little to no interest whatsoever in either the Chinese or Korean languages. She was interested in the Western and European cultures, as many younger generations of Japanese are. So she decided to pursue learning English and French instead. She would listen to podcasts, music, watch TV shows and films and read hundreds and thousands of reading material in both languages. When her parents finally caught her one day, her father told her that she had shamed their family and threw her out of the house in the middle of the cold night with no one else around, kicking and screaming. Since then, they've cut all contacts with her and treat her as a disgrace to the family. They ignore her and act as if she was never born. This has caused her to spiral into a great depression. I wish there was something I could do. |
Question: Why doesn't my husband put any effort into my birthday, holidays, or our anniversary? Posted: 21 Apr 2019 06:27 AM PDT I've been married for 17 years to my husband. We have 1 child and a second due to arrive in June. My birthday is this upcoming week & my 11 year old daughter mentioned it fell during her PSSA's. He said to me, "Don't expect anything, you know I work from 630 am to 930pm Mon-Fri the week of your birthday and I won't have time to get you anything. He's home every weekend but says he never has the time. I put so much effort into his birthdays and fathers day. I don't expect anything extragravant but something small even a card would just make my day. Does anyone else have a significant other this way? It breaks my heart each holiday, birthday, mother's day, or anniversary. If I mention it to him he gets upset with me and says sorry. |
