Question: Why doesn't my girlfriend or her family like being followed around? Posted: 17 Apr 2019 01:03 PM PDT I don't like my future fiancé or my stepmonster children in MY KITCHEN. I accidentally almost hit them with the sweeper. I shouldn't have to move out of the way in my kitchen. They went in another room and I followed them i and interrupted them because I needed to know who left a gum paper on the floor. They went out into the yard where my mother in law is grilling and she sprayed me with a spray bottle.because I kept crowding her when she is cooking. My stepmonster children don't live here and want to see their mom. I know they are making fun of me. |

She said " listen to the music on your own time dad, it's inappopriate with your daughter in the car". I don't see what the big deal is. |

Posted: 17 Apr 2019 08:51 AM PDT I have never wanted to have kids and still don't. I just turned 26 and am constantly asked why I'm not married yet, why I don't have kids yet, etc. And people tell me "I had 2 (3, etc) kids by the time I was your age! What are you waiting for?" How do I respond to them politely that I don't plan to have kids at all? I've tried but end up with people thinking I hate kids. I don't hate them, I just don't want that kind of responsability and would prefer to focus on the farm, my job, and my horse who is pretty much my super spoiled child. My boyfriend (who will be 22 soon) doesn't wish to have kids either. We've talked about it and decided that if one happens despite using both birth control and condoms that we will be responsible and raise him/her but otherwise we are trying our best not to have one. I feel like it's not fair that having kids and being married by now is expected of me by everyone just because of my age. They don't seem to take into consideradtion that I was in a bad relationship for 3 years and my current boyfriend and I have only been dating for a year and a half so that's a lot to expect from us as a couple as well. He is 4 years younger than me so the same isn't expected of him at all, but I feel like there is a lot of pressure on me from family, friends, coworkers etc to get going on with the life everyone wants and expects me to have. How do I explain to people that we don't want this? That we want to take our time and not rush into marriage and that we just don't feel that kids are right for us, not only now but not down the road either? I don't want everyone to think I hate kids, but to understand and respect my choice not to have them. |

The chalk hurts worse than the nail, because the chalk has a larger cross-sectional area. b.) The nail hurts worse than the chalk, because the nail has a smaller cross-sectional area. c.) Both the chalk and the nail feel the same, because the force pushing each of them is the same. |
