Question: I feel like I have the world on my shoulders and I don't know how to handle it? Posted: 24 Apr 2019 09:57 PM PDT So for a few years I have been taking care of my Aunt as she has become more and more disabled. My husband and I have recently bought a home and are in the process of moving. My mom fell ill and ended up in the ICU on life support. While she has gotten better, she still very much needs my care. So currently I am taking care of my aunt full time, and my mom on top of trying to move. Add to the fact that my younger sisters truck broke down and my husband has been fixing that in his spare time while working 50+ hours a week. Everyone is pulling me in 100 directions and we are operating on a deadline. Now my aunts home needs repairs and she just expects us to fix it. somethings got to give. |

Posted: 24 Apr 2019 01:40 PM PDT My husband got a bit promotion and instead of coming home to celebrate with me... he went out with a female SINGLE colleague... I'm upset and he says I'm overreacting. |
Question: The guy I am dating now phsycially abused his ex wives? Posted: 24 Apr 2019 12:53 PM PDT I have been dating him for 3 months and I just moved to this smaller town and started working in the same building as one of his ex wives and she has told me to be careful and told me about what all he use to do to her... hit her, spit on her, kick her etc and showed me pictures. She told me that she never pressed charges back then, and after finding this out I have been really panicky. Also his most recent wife left him is in communication with the ex wife I am talking to at work and she told her how he was physically, emotionally, and verbally abusive to her. He doesn't know that I have talked to his ex wife, and now I just want to break up with him, even though he hasn't ever been abusive to me yet... Do you think a guy like this would ever change, or is he just hiding his real self to me? |
Question: How can I still show love without being too available sexually to my husband? Posted: 24 Apr 2019 11:56 AM PDT I'm too eager for sex sometimes and we have an amazinggggg sex life but sometimes I'll offer to do things and he says "it's okay, we're married, ya know? We've done that so many times before and I know I can always get you." Which really hurts and bothers me because it doesn't have to get old but if he keeps having that mindset I feel like it will. So I want to play a little harder to get sexually but still be able to make him feel loved and wanted and share emotional intimacy. Any suggestions? |
Question: How to stop my son from marriage? Posted: 24 Apr 2019 11:12 AM PDT My son is 31 and he has already been divorced 3 times! His first marriage was when he was 18 and then he divorced at 22. His second marriage he was 23, then divorced at 26. His last marriage he married when he was 28 and they divorced a year later. He has been dating this girl for about a year and keeps brining up marriage and how he knows she is the one, I just try to shut him down when he starts talking about another marriage. He has 4 kids in total from all the previous marriages and he can barely afford to support himself because of how much child support he is paying to all his ex wives. I try to tell him it would be immature for him to get remarried at this point when he can't afford it and we have had to help finance his last divorce because he couldn't afford it. He is very hard headed and I doubt he is going to listen to be, so would I be wrong for not attending any of his future weddings? I already know a lot of immediate family members refuse to attend anymore of his weddings, so I wouldn't be the only one. |
Posted: 24 Apr 2019 09:03 AM PDT It will strictly for sex, I won't be leaving my husband for the guy; and he doesn't expect it either. He's married. |
Question: Altercation between ex-husband and boyfriend. How to deal with it? Posted: 24 Apr 2019 02:40 AM PDT My ex-husband was out with my son at a karate tournament. We didn't expect them until 6. Yet, my husband showed up earlier, and saw us mid-coitus. he started to shout that our son could have seen us. My boyfriend tried to walk him at the door telling him that I was free to do whatever I wanted, this made him really mad, and soon an altercation started. My bf was soon immobilized and forced to apologise. He feels completely humiliated and emasculated. |
Question: How to not hate your deadbeat ex? Posted: 24 Apr 2019 02:18 AM PDT So, my ex has completely stopped paying child support, never calls the kids, refuses to be involved in anything in their lives, and sees them about 3 days per month. I just found out he is going on a $2400 vacation (I know the amount because we used to do this trip together every year). Meanwhile I am struggling to put food on the table for the kids. I feel so angry all the time and I dislike it. |
Question: What's a creative way to welcome home a hard working man?? Posted: 23 Apr 2019 11:51 PM PDT My husband is a great man and I love him more everyday even for dating 7 years and married 3. I want to be creative to make him feel not just loved but to enjoy life at home like he has done for me!!! I've done love notes, (attempted) cakes and meals . . . lol he eats it anyway. And also surprised him with nerf dart fights, which is our favorite and have actually gotten family involved when they come over to visit while we are still battling :) :D ha ha but I would like to do something (and feeling like this next moment needs to be) …… both fun and heart warming!!!! Any gentleman got ideas?!?!? and PLEASE don't say sex haha cause that's OBVIOUSLY coming ;) |
Question: My daughter doesn't want my husband at her college graduation. What should I do? Posted: 23 Apr 2019 11:39 PM PDT My ex-husband and I divorced when our daughter "Liz" was 8 years old, w/my ex moving out of state & spending occasional time with Liz. I remarried when Liz was 11. My new husband "Ed" and Liz never formed a father-daughter bond, but got along. Right after starting her senior year in high school, Liz "ran away" with her dad's help. No discussion. Just a vm from my ex that Liz is living with him now. I have never gotten an answer as to why she left. 6 years later and Liz is graduating from college in the state where my ex lives. My once good relationship with Liz has been strained the past 6 years. I visit a couple of times a year, sometimes with Ed. Liz has never come back home to visit & it's hard getting her to respond to my messages. Ed & I booked flights & hotel to attend Liz's graduation next week. Today I received this email from Liz, "I know your flight doesn't get in until late Thursday, but Thursday night is the only night I can go out to dinner since I already made plans for Friday. I didn't know until the other day when you texted me that Ed was going to be coming too. Would it be okay if only you came out to graduation/dinner? I would very much appreciate it." Why would Ed not come to this event in Liz's life? My ex & I don't speak & I have anxiety around him & his new family. I don't want to attend graduation alone. Ed & I are both hurt. Liz won't answer my calls to talk about it. Do I cancel the trip, go with Ed, or without Ed? The tears won't stop! Help! |

Question: I caught my husband cheating! HELP!!? Posted: 23 Apr 2019 10:28 PM PDT I found out that my husband was cheating on me a few days ago. We went on vacation in Bora Bora when he asked me if he could "scout that hot pieces if ***." I said yes, as any loving wife should, and to my surprise later that evening I found him with another woman! I just love him so much and I can't imagine life without him. Plus he's a lawyer and makes a ton of money. What should I do? |
