Question: How can I help my friend through divorce? Posted: 13 Apr 2019 10:36 PM PDT I have been friends with this girl (26) for about 5 years. We met at work and became really close instantly. We both suffer through depression and have helped each other get through those really low points in our lives. She's been in a marriage about as long as I've known her and I've seen some huge red flags through this, all verbally, mentally, and sexually abusive. But I never said anything to her out of fear of it putting a strain on our friendship. Last year SHE finally said she had enough and left him, and my husband and I have helped her in every way possible, she lives with us now and anytime she needs anything at all we are here to help. She has two beautiful girls and they stay with us as well, and we spoil them as much as possible. However here lately (with only 3 more months until her divorce is final) her husband has been trying to get her back, saying that she will never find better than him, and that she is the reason their family is split and the reason that their girls will have a broken home, etc. and it's really weighing on her. I just don't know what to do. This man has a really cruddy heart and is so selfish when it comes to EVERYTHING. But I know I can't make the decision for her. I just don't want her to go back into the situation when she was so depressed and on the verge of suicide, it scares me to death. What do it do? Any advice is greatly appreciated here |

Question: She keeps checking me out? Posted: 13 Apr 2019 07:12 PM PDT Our part time helper at work is 22 years old. Back in January of this year, I got my hair tinted and added blonde highlights. The moment our part time helper saw my new hair do, she just keeps checking me out, hair, clothes, body etc She is sly about the checking out part. I am a woman. Is this young lady a lesbian? |
Question: My husband is smoking weed again, should I be concerned? Posted: 13 Apr 2019 06:17 PM PDT My husband and I have been together since we were both in our early 20s and in college. 13 years later we are married with our first kid on the way. For the first few years we dated he would always get high which I use to partake in. If we weren't getting high then he would be with his friends at our apartment. Over time we grew out of that until a few days ago when I found out he still gets high just not nearly as much supposedly. He was at our friends house take hits from a bong and I come walking in. He was shocked to see me as I was not scheduled to come over for a few more hours but left work early. He tried saying it was his first time in years but eventually admitted he probably smokes 2 or 3 times a week. I'm not mad at him for it but am shocked because i thought he had quit. I asked why he didnt tell me he still got high but he just keeps saying he doesnt know. |

Posted: 13 Apr 2019 03:59 PM PDT I married young and divorced my first husband and no one knows. My second husband divorced me but regrets it. I love him but he's a man but acts like a child. I love him but he is not ready to be the man I need. I just recently been dating a older man who bought me an additional phone so we can talk. He gave me a choice marry him or not. What do I do?? He has not met my kids nor family but has been everywhere I have vacations and etc. We connected but he's old as my parents! I'm tired of all these secrets. How do I let my family and exhusand know. We have children together. |
Question: Suddenly no interest in my husband? Posted: 13 Apr 2019 03:35 PM PDT My husband and I have only been married 2 years. I don't know what changed but i suddenly have zero interest in him. I have no desire to have sex with him, the way he talks irritates me, I have no interest in anything he says. He gets obsessed with topics and just goes on and on about the same things. I have no idea what changed. I can't pin point it but I'm just completely uninterested. I don't know what to do! I feel so bad and guilty! |

Question: What do I tell my friends and family? Posted: 13 Apr 2019 01:19 PM PDT My husband left me shortly after our son was born. Our divorced finalized in January. I met a man at the end of January who also just finalized his divorce (his ex ended the marriage after she cheated on him). He has a 13 year old and a 16 year old. He just asked me to marry him and I said yes. We are moving in soon. Our parents seem to really be on board but our friends are not. How can I convince my friends this is right for me? |

Posted: 13 Apr 2019 07:56 AM PDT My wife and I have been married for 14 years, we have 4 daughters ages 12, 10, 7, and 4. My wife has 7 women that she considers her closest friends. I have been having an affair with one of her best friends for 3 months. I was mowing the lawn and when I came back inside, my wife came up to my face and showed me my phone and said she was reading my text messages and one of her best friends was sending me racy texts. She confronted me about it and I admitted that I have been having an affair with her. I explained to her that she doesn't pay attention to me anymore and that her friend does. I told her everything and she kicked me out of the house. My 2 oldest daughters overheard the conversation and they don't want to speak to me, either. I don't want to end the affair, I'm falling in love with this woman. But I also don't want to lose my wife or kids, what should I do? I have been staying in a motel for 5 days. |
Question: Do You Think Husbands Not Standing Up For Their Wives Destroy Their Marriages? Posted: 13 Apr 2019 07:38 AM PDT Hey need to know your opinion on this. Do you think husbands not standing up for their wives wind up destroying their marriages? Is it vice versa? What are your thoughts. |
Question: Ex threatens me to my face but is nice in emails. Is there anything I can do about this? Posted: 13 Apr 2019 07:19 AM PDT He threatens to take our kids away. He also talks and whispers to me like someone else is listening when no one else is around. He tries to make me jealous with money by bragging about it and acts super happy and tells me what all he's going to buy now that we are separated. In emails, he acts like a normal person trying to amicably separate. Is there anything I can do about this when I don't have proof? |

Question: Marriage: He wants me to marry me without knowing his parents and siblings? Posted: 13 Apr 2019 06:33 AM PDT I'm 27 and my boyfriend is 25. We've been in a relationship for a year and a half. Recently, we just moved into our own apartment. I'm Black American and he's Kenyan. He's met my family several times and have met some of my friends. I've met his friends and his uncle that lives here. However, I've never met nor spoken to my boyfriend's mom and dad and siblings back in Kenya. My boyfriend is very loving and I love him. He provides for me and always tell me that he wants to protect and take care of me. Last night, he told me that he wants to marry me next week through the courts. I've told him how I felt about meeting his family months ago, so he ended up telling his uncle about me. We went to his uncles home and met his family. My boyfriend told me that his parents know about me, but I've never spoken to them. I know that his parents speak English too. I don't know what to do because I've asked numerous times if I could speak with his parents before but it has never happened. I know that he has a good relationship with them because he always tell me how he talks to them over the phone. However, I've never spoken to them. What to do? |

Question: Feedback on whether I'm making a good/bad decision? Posted: 13 Apr 2019 06:06 AM PDT I'm trying to decide between 2 Universities that will change my life: Florida State University--where I'll be in a dorm (which I DO NOT WANT) and paying for a meal plan. But I'll be part of the Honors program and the Undergraduate Research. I have to drive 7+ hours for the holidays to visit my fiancé in NC. North Carolina State University--I'll be driving 1 hour to and from for the first semester and then when my fiancé and I move closer it'll be 40 minutes. My parents will not be happy, but I know I will be happy. My fiancé and I have been in a long distance relationship for a long time and want to settle down with eachother. If I decide to go to NCSU, we will be getting a court marriahe so I can be exempt from the campus dorms and qualify for in-state tuition. We won't be telling our parents until January 2020. I have been focused on my studies since Pre-k and have already completed 2 years of my A.A in Florida and want to settle in North Carolina for my career. Note: My fiancé and I have been together for 6 years. He has 3 years left for being stationed in North Carolina. He has been deployed before and we are ready in case it happens again (Air Force Material Management). I want to live with him and enjoy life, but my parents are going to be angry, so much so they might disown me. I never had a close relationship with my parents but I dont want do lose them. However, I dont want to live in a dorm and doing what others want me to do. |
Question: Is my husband cheating on me or am i just paranoid? Posted: 13 Apr 2019 03:36 AM PDT So long story short my husband is up at night and asleep during the day for work. (im not). Posted: 12 Apr 2019 11:21 PM PDT Maybe I provoked everything and the situation is confusing without knowing the details. Maybe I push to much and send him over the edge?! I don't know. Is that live regardless of how much you push them?? |
