Question: Boyfriend of 6 years broke up with me? Posted: 10 Apr 2019 08:17 PM PDT My boyfriend of 6 years recently broke up with me because we had been fighting a lot lately and he couldn t take it anymore. I accused him of cheating on me with his coworker because i saw a text where he called her "baby". He s still says he never cheated and even told his friends he didn t. I keep asking if this is a "break" or "break up" and he says he doesn t know because he still loves and cares about me, but just wants to be friends right now. He said i ll never lose him and he ll be there for me whenever i need him, but i think he means as a friend. I m giving him his space in hopes he ll miss me and reach out to me, but he hasn t. He s not only my boyfriend, we were each others best friends so i feel like I ve lost my friend too. What s the likelihood that he ll want me back? I read that if you give the guy some space they ll come running back, is that true? The last we spoke was last Friday, today is Wednesday. Is it a bad sign that he hasn t reached out to me in that time period? I feel like he s moving on from me. Please help :( |
Question: Toxic Relationships vs Friends? Posted: 10 Apr 2019 08:16 PM PDT My friend is going through a very toxic relationship where his partner is untrusting of his actions and wants him to abandon his friends. They've broken up twice over the past two days and are struggling because neither really know what they want. As their friends, our group wants them to break up for good. What should we do? |

Question: Why did this guy do this? Posted: 10 Apr 2019 08:03 PM PDT I posted a fun questionnaire thing on Facebook that friends can ask me questions and this guy that is married that I met at college put "you are super cute!!!". Is it possible he meant that in a polite way? I hope he was not trying to flirt because he's married. What are your thoughts? Thanks. |

Question: Am I overthinking this? Posted: 10 Apr 2019 08:02 PM PDT So I have had a crush on this girl that went to my school ( we both graduated a year ago). I was always afraid to actually tell her I like her because I'm shy. So the summer after I graduated I added her on Instagram thinking there might be a chance one day that I can ask her out through there. So she followed me back and sometimes she likes my posts. Now to get to the main part of this. Recently my dog passed away and in memory I posted a lot of selfies of me and the dog on Instagram . Then out of nowhere she left a comment that said: "I'm sorry for your loss 😔" then after that she said "loosing a dog is like loosing a child I'm so sorry ". Then an hour later I get the notification that she liked the post which is odd because usually you like the post and comment at the same time but whatever. Then about a day later she randomly adds me on Facebook. Now keep in mind we have never talked to each other before. Am I overthinking this or does she like me? |
Question: My crush rejected me a few months ago but now stares at me constantly? Posted: 10 Apr 2019 07:58 PM PDT A few months ago my crush rejected me. At first everything seemed to be normal, he liked someone else and it seemed like he didn't care about me at all. But after two months he stopped talking to her completely. Even when she tried to talk to him he seemed to ignore her. I found out from a friend that he dropped her because he realized he had feelings for someone else. After that he started to look at me all the time, mostly when he thought I wasn't looking. If I caught him looking, sometimes he looked away others he didn't. One time in class I turned around and caught him looking and grinning at me and when I turned around he whipped his head towards the board like nothing happened. Also, another weird thing, all of his friends know who I am but I've never spoken to them in my life. And they also don't follow me on social media. And I would dismiss the fact that it means anything but all his friends are extremely nice to me. He's always around his friends whispering to them and then they all turn and look at me. Sometimes my crush will join in a few conversations with me for no reason. All this stuff has been happening for months now. Does anyone know what this means? |
Posted: 10 Apr 2019 07:55 PM PDT I posted Instagram stories continuously as I was on holiday. Then all of a sudden my ex posted story, he has never posted story before and has 0 posts so why did he do that |
Question: I always want to talk to my boyfriend and it kills me? Posted: 10 Apr 2019 07:48 PM PDT I see him at school a lot, hang out at lunch sometimes after school like until 5 even sometimes. We rarely ever hang out outside of school unless it's a special event that my strict parents let me go with him. No matter how long we hang out, my mind always goes to wanting to call him call him call him, he's the only one I really ever want to call and when he can't most of the time because hes busy or he doesn't text back it's like ****** I'm getting tired because I'm bored and thinking about him so much like this it kills me. I just really want to move out of my parents already and just be somewhere else, I hate being so babied or feeling overbeared because I'm their last child. I know it sounds bad, but I usually try to keep some stuff inside but it turns out in a small little attitude and i feel kinda bad sometimes for it. What can I do to FIX this? Is it bad? |
Posted: 10 Apr 2019 07:33 PM PDT So I found out tomorrow might be his last day at work ever. I think he might like me based on a conversation I overheard with him and some coworkers but I could only hear bits and pieces so it's not for sure. I've never asked out a guy or have had a bf so I don't know what to say if I ask him out. If he says it's his last day, then I'm going to ask him out. |

Posted: 10 Apr 2019 07:22 PM PDT My ex and her mother planned to go to this event with our son and they apparently planned this weeks ago. The event is this weekend and I'm just now hearing about it a few days prior. This event comes once a year so there's a strong argument for rescheduling the photo shoot. I can possibly reschedule two weeks from now when I have him again but they can't reschedule this event. She does this all the time though and I'm sick of it. She doesn't communicate well and sometimes I feel like she doesn't put an effort to because she's taking advantage of my flexibility and agreeableness. She's always prioritizing her spontaneous ideas over my plans with our son. A few days ago I planned to watch him while she worked, this was planned for over a week, she texts me while I'm on my way over to say that she's called off and taking our son on a trip to her mothers. I don't want her to keep doing this and I feel like I should I don't know take a stand or something. |
Posted: 10 Apr 2019 07:22 PM PDT We were texting for about two weeks straight then out of nowhere he started to be distant with me and stopped texting me. We see eachother maybe two three times a week and everything feels normal in person between us, but after two weeks of not texting he suddenly texted me that he values me and that he likes me. But why all of a sudden that change? |
Question: Why would a manmarry a much younger woman? Posted: 10 Apr 2019 07:19 PM PDT Okay...let's say almost 15 year difference. But the man isn't that old ..very early 40s, perphaps 41. Maybe even, perhaps the man had a difficult childhood, and got burned in love young in life... Let's say even, the younger woman is trouble for him...because of incompatibility...age difference. Why would a good looking, hard working man want that in his life...is it emotional immaturity, and fear of something.... What would you think .. And no, I'm really not jealous of either....I'm close the man's age..and curious as to why a man would put himself in that situation... The woman is in her 20s...she's cute, but clearly unstable... |
Question: Why am I never good enough? Help please? Posted: 10 Apr 2019 07:17 PM PDT I'm an 18 year old high school senior. Throughout high school, I'd say I only had 1 serious relationship that made it to be "official" back in my sophomore year. From there, a lot of guys have shown interest in me, flirted with me, even wanted a chance with me, and we did "talk" but for some reason it ended before making it official. For example, like 2 of those guys ended it because they weren't "ready" for something serious/didn't want serious at the moment, others just wanted to have sex, others just stopped talking to me after a while with no explanation whatsoever. (Some of those guys did come back to me after a few months btw, only to flirt again and then stop talking again) The cycle repeats. It hurts me so much because it makes me feel like I'm not good enough to be taken serious and I don't know why this keeps happening. Recently, this guy I've known for a while reconnected with me after one month of breaking up with his gf, and flirted with me again and made it seem like he was so into me again, but this only lasted about 5 days and then he stopped replying. I'm tired of guys always playing with my feelings, I don't understand what i do wrong for them to lead me on like this and then leave me hanging like that. So many guys have done the same thing to me. It hurts me more when some just stop talking to me with no explanation. I'm always left wondering what went wrong and why I wasn't good enough. Why could this be happening? & What should I do to distract myself? |
Question: Why is this guy friend acting so weird around me? Posted: 10 Apr 2019 07:14 PM PDT he starts joking and teasing me. he starts cracking up jokes about being single and the tinder app. he told girls around me to swipe right on tinder.. he gets so nervous around me and starts to avoid me. he starts to talk to other girls around me instead. why is he acting this way?? |
Question: Does this mean they are dating if she have her arm around his arm? Posted: 10 Apr 2019 07:12 PM PDT |
Question: Why is this girl acting like this?(I’m a girl too)? Posted: 10 Apr 2019 07:09 PM PDT There's a girl I work with that seemed cool towards me at first but got avoidant all of a sudden. We are both girls. I first met her when she was sitting with her friend at a table. I was talking to my friend and didn't see them at first so I was surprised and said "oh hey" which they laughed about. After that this girl approached me when we were in a room alone and I was looking at a box of cake. She came up and said "I'm going to put my nasty germs all over the cake" and put her hand on the box I was looking at. I didn't know how to respond to this because it caught me off guard so I just laughed awkwardly. We kept catching each other's eyes and bumping into each other a lot. I told my friend I was interested in her and he brought me up casually. She said she thought I was "really pretty" but if I dressed more feminine I'd be "******* hot" 😣 kind of burnt me out from her since I believe I'm fine as I am. Since then she was moved to a department where she will be working closer to me. I notice now she is avoidant all of sudden. It seems to be only with me. I went with a coworker to find someone and my coworker tried getting this girls attention by calling her name but she didn't turn around until I said "hey". When I asked her where the person we were looking for was she seemed avoidant and just pointed in the direction. I also noticed another time I was with my friend and she waited until I left the conversation to walk over. A lot of people at my job are interested in her |

Question: Is there a relationship between deviance and social change?”? Posted: 10 Apr 2019 07:03 PM PDT |
Question: My girlfriend is obsessed with me ? Posted: 10 Apr 2019 06:57 PM PDT I been with her for 5 years were madly in love with each other she kind of has an obsession with me. She always has to be by my side every single day if we go out she holds my hand really tight if we cuddle or watch a movie she has to snuggle up to me as close as possible same thing if we're sleeping she's scared of the dark anyway. She has to kiss me about every 5 or 10 minutes. If she finds a picture of me and my ex wife or videos of us she gets upset with me saying we need to talk about it. Before I met her she didn't have much luck with relationships I don't blame her I was the same way but I wasn't attached to every girl I had. I'm really the first and only long relationship she's ever had. She said this is the longest she's ever been with a guy. I feel bad for her also she has really bad anxiety and emotional problems she cries at almost every little thing. She won't even let me talk to other girls if she sees me talking to a girl wether it be her mom or her friend she gets upset. If I have to leave or if she does she calls o texts me every 10 minutes to make sure I'm ok. How can I help her get over her obsession with me ? Is this normal for a girl ? |
Question: He left her for me though? I’m confused? Posted: 10 Apr 2019 06:54 PM PDT My BF left a woman he was trying to be in a relationship with for me. He tells me how he complained to her about standing up to her family, stop letting them control her, how her family didn't like him to begin with because he was older. his pet peeve was her not driving over/spending the night all because of her parents he said we were having sex and she still couldn't stay over. he said he felt like she treated him like a friend and he wanted to feel like a boyfriend. A few months ago he told her "i met someone else and I'm trying to be with her" and she cried she started getting upset and fussing at him for meeting another girl. And she begged for him back but he told me he apologized and said "sorry sweetie l still be here for you". I went through his phone. The day after he broke up with her though he texted her first saying "hey sweetie how are you doing" he initiated the conversation the next day after that too saying "hey sweetie how's your day going so far" the week after he broke up with her she was still trying to see him and he was trying to clear his schedule to see her too from the text. weeks went by and neither one of them texted each other until last Month he texted her first asking how she was doing she didn't reply. He checks in on her and calls her sweetie so, but why leave her only to continue to be sweet with her. He might have ended their relationship but he didn't end contact and he jumped from her straight to me without any break |

Question: Can your ex regain respect from you after a bad break up? Posted: 10 Apr 2019 05:50 PM PDT Let's say your ex cheated, said some disrespectful things, cried and or pleaded for you to take them back. Doesn't necessarily mean getting back romantically, but as friends. Could you forgive and have them regain your respect again? |

Question: Relationship on the rocks .. again? Posted: 10 Apr 2019 05:23 PM PDT Hi everyone, my boyfriend and I have been dating for five years and gone through a lot but always pull through and get through everything. Lately we've been on the rocks. He's been putting me on the back burner. We are both extremely busy with school and work so we only get time to hangout for more than an hour , maybe once a month. He's also too busy /does not like to call or text to talk. So it's hard to keep in touch every day and updated on what's going on in our lives/ keep our rlshp healthy. I've asked him to try and make more time for our relationship, and when things are bad he will try and improve things and get a night off work but eventually falls back into old habits. Lately he is putting everything before me on his free time (gym, friends, sports, shopping/activities). He is going on two bachelor trips (One being Vegas but he's always been faithful) but I still wanted to make sure things were going smooth before then. We had plans for a while to hangout all of tonight, (first time in a month), and of course he's put it off all night while he's out shopping with his brother. He does this a lot. I feel like I'm a last option lately. I offered to go to the mall with him tonight so I could at least be with him but he ended up going without me and with his brother instead. He already spends all of his time with his brother (free time and they work together), so it sucks he isn't putting in the effort that we need into our relationship lately. What should I do? |
Question: Opinions wanted - why do these feelings never go away? Posted: 10 Apr 2019 05:20 PM PDT I dated this guy my senior year of high school, not for long but, I felt really connected with him. We stayed friends. Weve both had other partners. But every time I talk to this man, years later, the feelings are still like they never left. He's the only person that gives me that butterfly, warm hearted feeling with literally zero effort. I'm almost positive he doesn't feel the same way. So should I talk to him again about it eventually, or can you suggest ways to help me actually move on from it? It's very bizarre, I know. We've talked about the fact that I feel like this one other time about a year ago. |
