Question: Is it worth talking to her again? Posted: 18 Apr 2019 06:00 PM PDT Keep in mind, this may be long. I've known this girl, Caroline, since 7th grade. We're now 28. Back in middle school, we hung out a lot and were best friends. She actually turned out to be a lesbian (I'm female too), but was still figuring out her sexuality and she admitted to being infatuated with me. Of course I stayed friends with her, but I worried her feelings might affect our friendship. The summer after 8th grade, she moved to another state. Fast forward: when we were 16, she came to visit for a few days and stayed at my house. It was AWFUL. The first day she was there, we had our first run-in with the cops for jaywalking. She went off to spend time with other friends and didn't even invite me. My mom had made chili one night and I had fallen asleep before dinner time and before I had even gotten a chance to eat any, Caroline had eaten it all. When she went back home, we had a huge fight about everything that went on when she visited. We fixed things, but then at one point she told me she didn't want to be friends anymore because I have depression and she didn't feel like she could understand me anymore. For the next 4 years, we tried on and off to be friends again, but there were always issues. Once, she told me my Facebook posts were too depressing and negative so she didn't want to see them anymore. Another time, she said I talk about myself too much (which was probably true then, but not anymore.) I wrote her last night, after 7 years of not hearing from her. |
Posted: 18 Apr 2019 05:27 PM PDT So, in my first period, this guy from another class (same grade) was taking edibles. They were these "powdery" donut things. He took 2-3, and some other kid took like 7, and they were actually HIGH. The kids in that class knew about it, and don't want to tell an adult because they don't want to get suspended for not telling earlier...**** am I supposed to do? |
Question: Why does she hate me so much??? Posted: 18 Apr 2019 05:20 PM PDT My name is Drew, and I'm a 23 year old guy. At my work there is a woman that I used to have a big crush on, her name was Jen, and she was 35 years old married with two kids. I knew her for almost 2 years, and we would always talk whenever we had the same shift. Everyone on my floor including Jen knew that I had a big crush on her and she was really cool about it. Jen would constantly stare at me and we would always make eye contact, I would make her blush and sometimes she would play around with her hair. I would stand by her desk and we would talk for a very long time. She would smile and laugh at everything i said, eventually people began judging our friendship. Coworkers began thinking that we were more than friends, So eventually management stepped up and got mad at the both of us because we would spend our whole shift talking. Other coworkers thought that we were having an affair or something. even though management told us that we needed to stop talking to eachother, me and Jen would still talk behind everyone's back. Jen told me that there were a lot of things going on and that her job was in jeopardy. One day in Christmas I bought her a $20 gift card and I gave it to her at work when no one was looking. But she went to management a few days later and she told management that I bought her a gift. I got in so much trouble that I got removed from her floor and they gave me a different schedule. when I would see Jen in the hall, she would not look me in the eyes and Jen also stop talking to all my friends too. I don't know what else was going on but about a month ago she quit her job and that same day she blocked me on facebook. But why did she bother blocking me??????? She had already deleted me months ago when the drama began. But she blocked me when she quit! |
Question: Where should me and my friends go for fun? Posted: 18 Apr 2019 03:45 PM PDT so, me and my friends live in a small town. we are 13-14. going places is not a problem since all our parents let us. we've been to the mall and arcade but we want to try something different. we don't have a beach and we can't drive. we'd rather hang out just the four of us without parental supervision. all of our houses are boring so we want to go somewhere public. if we do end up going to the mall, which we do plenty of times, what could we do while we are there? we usually get there, head to the food court, eat, go "shopping" (but we never buy anything), try on heels, and that's it. |
Question: If a guy cums quick does that mean he didn't like the sex? Posted: 18 Apr 2019 03:44 PM PDT I had sex with a guy how do I know if he liked it? I heard him say something about amazing. While we were having sex. Yes I know if he cums that means he liked it. But I didn't check the condom to see if he actually came or not. The sex was really quick actually. I couldn't believe how fast it was over with. But I did give him oral sex for awhile before we actually had sex. |

Question: How to get people to understand my facebook was hacked? Posted: 18 Apr 2019 03:05 PM PDT A couple years ago I found that someone would log into my facebook and bother people.I know this because I went through the email the facebook account was connected to. Now apparently people either think I'm gay or a predator , I have long time friends from school who just pretend not to see me and recently women in a gym I attended started complaining that I make them feel uncomfortable . I understand these things might not be connected but not knowing how people I was once good with plain don't see me makes me feel hopeless By the way I'm 23 with just me as a close companion |
Question: What does this mean exactly? Posted: 18 Apr 2019 02:54 PM PDT What does it mean when your best friend asks you do you want to continue being my friend and then you would say well what would you do if I wasn't your friend and then your friend says well I would take it one day at a time what do they mean by that? Are they basically saying that they don't care if you leave or not? |
Posted: 18 Apr 2019 02:34 PM PDT I'm currently in this job programs that help me with job skills and I do get paid and pay a little taxes out of my check but I'm applying for jobs online and looking into going to ITT Tech next year and thinking of being a computer technician or go into real estate as a future career while my ex-friend sits at home watches basketball and collects ssi and told me there is nothing wrong with that and shamed me for voting for trump cause I believe he can give us more job opportunities what do you think? |
Question: How to get out of plans with someone? Question: Help me be less awkward !!? Posted: 18 Apr 2019 11:40 AM PDT Okay so I'm going to a theme park in a few days with 2 of my friends but they're also being 2 friends who have a never met before and I'm really awkward around people I don't know and I just feel like I'm gonna ruin the whole day by being awkward and I think my friends will probably not talk to me much cause from they way they talk about their friends they seem more fun and I'll just be following along like a lost puppy so is there anyway to stop myself from being awkward ? |
Question: Am I easy to annoy? Why am I so intolerant? Posted: 18 Apr 2019 10:33 AM PDT I have a friend who is a very very nice girl, very good intentions and all. BUT. She is sooooooo vain. Whenever we are together she is either taking selfies (about 100) or looking in the mirror. I'm not even joking. She pouts in the mirror and it just annoys the hell out of me. She also puts on an accent/voice so she sounds like the kardashians. She tries very hard to be funny but it doesn't work. Despite being a nice person, I find her quite fake and pretentious? Have you ever had a friend like this and what did you do about it? Cos if she had wronged me, she would be easy to confront but how do you tell someone they're fake and they try too hard? |
Question: Why is it so hard for me to trust people ? Posted: 18 Apr 2019 10:14 AM PDT For as long as I can remember, I've had a tough time opening up to people or just forming deep relationships with people in general. I've had "best friends", but they were more just people who I'd hang out and chat with, but I never was able to get to that deeper level of friendship with them. My older sister, on the other hand, is an open book. She wears her heart on her sleeve, and people trust her, and open up to her, and she has people that she can talk to about everything and anything. I don't know why I can't trust people; I've only told one person a big secret of mine, and it was terrifying and incredibly hard for me to do that, but then just few months later we stopped being friends. Since then, I really haven't told anyone anything, except maybe my sister. I've tried really hard, and there are people in my life that I know I can trust with my thoughts and secrets, but every time I try, I just freeze up and can't do it. It's not like I have any traumatic childhood memories or abuse that haunts me, but I've always just had trouble trusting people. I guess I have a crippling fear of rejection lol, but Idk I know it's healthy to open up to people, but I guess I just need some help doing it. |
Question: It bothers me that people talk bad about me, so how can I cope with that? Posted: 18 Apr 2019 09:40 AM PDT I didn't have a very good freshman year of college. I unfortunately made a lot of enemies. However, I have changed and matured since then, but it bothers me that my ex roommates, and people whom I didn't get along with, get together and talk about me. I'm trying to not think about them, but it kind of hurts that they're degrading my name. 5 times out of 10, when I meet someone new, they'll say something like, "I heard you were a *****" or "you're not what people say you are". I'm really tired of going through that, and I've been trying to start over by changing majors (so that I wouldn't be surrounded by the same people), but it seems like everyone I made enemies with, knows everyone around campus. |
Question: Why is this woman so focused on me and my life? Posted: 18 Apr 2019 09:38 AM PDT I'm friends with this woman. I'm 20 and she is 50 years old. She has just divorced her husband. I feel like she puts me down by mentioning other girls qualities which are in direct contrast to mine. She talked about how talented and gifted another girl my age was, and everything she was boasting about was exactly the same as my own qualities. I felt drained and my confidence had decreased. That day I noticed this girl who she was boasting about to me had added me on social media, so she had obviously been talking about me to this girl I went on a night out with her and another girl my age. She kept getting me to drink more alcohol and eventually I opened up to her and I told her there was this guy I had a crush on and I thought he liked me. I showed her a message he sent me where he asked me if I was free to meet up with him and a few others. My friend told me that wasn't a sign he liked me and that he was just being friendly and that anyone could ask that and it didn't mean anything She then lectured me the rest of the evening telling me that I was reading too much into it and told me to give up looking for men I asked her to take phots of me and she told me the nicest photo was where my hair was pushed infront of my face and my face wasn't visible She messaged me after I changed my profile photo too and she also asked me why I left dance class early (because her friend who is in the same class as me told her) Why is she so focused on what I do in my life? |
Question: Can we use computers without internet for work? Posted: 18 Apr 2019 09:34 AM PDT My idiot co-worker thinks the world would be better off without the internet. He thinks we can just use computers without the internet. At my job, we get work from emails and we need internet. I'm not sure what he's complaining about. He's a middle age guy who has never had a computer, doesn't even like cell phones. He thinks we can just use pay phones instead of cell phones. What do you guys think? Is he right we can use computers without internet? My idiot friend is very old school and very very stubborn, he's so irritating. I need your guys advice because I'm so sick of arguing with him. I got really mad at him one time when we had a customer and he kept going on and on how stupid people are using their phones. @Texperson, most of the time I ignore him, but there were couple times when customers were in our store and how he talked about how stupid people are using their phones, laptops etc. It's bad for business. Also, I don't consider him a close friend, we don't really hang out, he's a very negative guy and a big Trump supporter. @g, because, we lost some customers because of him, he's also my manager. I'm going to find another job soon. |
Posted: 18 Apr 2019 09:27 AM PDT My friend and I used to get together once every couple weeks for lunch, shopping, etc. The last time we got together was early december for Christmas shopping since I needed time to mail presents and would be traveling the week of Christmas. We planned to get together to celebrate and exchange gifts before I left town but she canceled. Since then we made plans a few other times but she cancelled again. Now she either says she is busy or doesn't respond to my message for days then says she was busy. I don't know why she's blowing me off or why she is always too busy. She doesn't work or have kids so she is home most of the time. I've even offered to drop the present off at her house (we live about 20 minutes away) but she said no, we wil get together. What should I do and what did I do wrong that she keeps blowing me off? I have depression and anxiety so I don't really talk to many people or go out much besides going to work and she's my only close friend besides my boyfriend. Should I keep waiting? Should I give up, leave her alone and give the present to someone else? Should I just go drop it off and then leave? I don't know what to do. |

Question: Is it likely that a man will have sex with the same woman more than once? Posted: 18 Apr 2019 05:15 AM PDT I'm not in a relationship with this guy. But he and I had sex and I enjoyed it. I would like to do it again. Is there a chance that he might do it again? |

Question: What's the right thing to do? Work related problem..? Posted: 17 Apr 2019 11:59 PM PDT My best friend at work text me to tell me that the supervisor at work has turned up drunk, still smelling of alcohol. She has asked me to let the manager know. The manager doesn't like the supervisor so I know this will annoy her and make her dislike him even more. I don't want to get the supervisor in trouble over it but at the same time I don't want me and my friend getting into any trouble for not saying anything. What do I do? |
Question: My friend thinks he's cool, what should I do? Posted: 17 Apr 2019 11:19 PM PDT We are both 15 years old, we are both guys. we are in 10th grade and I have known him since the 6th grade, we have always both been into things like star wars, star trek, video games, technology, and stuff like that. That's why we were friends, but now he is changing. He is trying to act all cool and popular, he talks to the popular people at school now, he even changed the way he dresses, he bought different clothes I guess with his birthday money. We also both used to listen to the same music which was classical music but now he listens to rap, i'm not jealous but it just bothers me how he abandoned me and now he has all these friends and even a girlfriend. He changed like 8 months ago, now he is trying to be a completely different person. What should i do about this? should i make up rumors about him? he thinks he's too cool for me and our other friends now who are into the same things as me. |
Question: What should a guy say to a girl when she's sad ? Posted: 17 Apr 2019 09:11 PM PDT My friend is going through a rough break up. She hasn't seen or heard from her boyfriend since before New Years this is the 2nd time they got back together and broke up again she said she's gives up on him. She came into my room asked if we could talk I told her we can she just broke down crying. I gave her a hug she cried on me for a little while. She's my best friend I hate to see her this way. It's after midnight she asked if she can sleep with me I told her she could. How can I help her feel better ? What should I say to her ? |
Question: Reasons I’m always the friend that is left out? Posted: 17 Apr 2019 08:29 PM PDT I never get anything in return. I'm always the one that hits them up first & asks to hang out first (which I don't do often because I'm afraid of looking clingy). If I'm not the one making an effort then I'd have 0 friends. & I'm talking about every single friend I've ever had, I'm not even exaggerating. I'll admit, it makes me feel bad when I see other people with friends that really appreciate them because I haven't had that in a while. I pretend like it doesn't hurt because I don't want to look stupid. I feel like I was born to be unwanted by everybody. I'm 17 & next year is my last year at high school meanwhile everyone is meeting their lifelong friends, I never will. |
Question: Why don’t I have any female friends? Posted: 17 Apr 2019 08:12 PM PDT I'm a 20 year old female who barely has any female friends. All of my friends are 3 males and I only hang out with them. They make me so happy that they're always there for me and I can talk to them without judgement unlike girls. Every time I'm out, I get dirty looks from people. Why? Is it because people are jealous of me?? Help????? |

Question: I live her but i cant have her? Posted: 17 Apr 2019 07:08 PM PDT I know this question is really dumb, but I'm 24 years old dude. There is this woman named Cassandra who is 36 and I work with her, I've known her for a while and I've always had feelings for her, and she even knows i like her. she's really cool about it, but she is married and has her own family. she's got such an amazing personality and she's really beautiful I know this sounds really dumb but I feel jealous of her husband. I like this woman so much but unfortunately she quit a couple of days ago and I feel very sad about it. What is going on with me?????? Why cant i stop thinking about her?? I know she's married but i cant control who i like :( |
Question: How to get out of being a godmother? Posted: 17 Apr 2019 06:54 PM PDT My best friend asked me to be the godmother to her one of her twins when they were born. First it was going to be two sets for each, that's FOUR sets total. Then it was FOUR sets for BOTH. Then it was just me and the godfather for both. Now it's one set each. The other set is her cousin and cousin-in-law who live in a different state. Her cousin has been saying since she found out my friend was pregnant that she wanted to be a godmother but now that the time has come, she won't give my friend a straight answer. She just keeps saying they don't know if they can make it and even had the audacity to ask my friend to pay for half of the cost of their plane tickets. My friend keeps saying she doesn't want her to be the godmother anymore but keeps going back on her word. It's tradition in both our cultures that the godmother buys the baptism outfit and I've been asking her for at least a week now to get an answer from her cousins because I need to buy the dress/dresses and her cousin just won't give her an answer and my friend won't stand up to her. Oh and get this: she told me that even if I'm not godmother to both, she's going to have them both call me their godmother so that for birthday and Christmas presents, I spend the same amount of money on both of them instead of twice as much on one (because in our cultures you spend twice as much on your godchild). At this point I just don't even want to be the godmother anymore but I don't know how to tell her. |

Question: Is this a good idea ? Posted: 17 Apr 2019 04:23 PM PDT My friend and his husband decided to send their 7 year old son to public school he's been home schooled since he was 4. I love him so much he's like a son to me he even calls me uncle since thats how close we are his dad's don't seem to care about him going I worry about him especially with all the bullying and gun violence that are out there lately. Last 7 years since Sandy Hook seems like every school has had a threat or a shooting. I just read that nearly close to the 20th anniversary of Columbine there was another shooting or threat every school around the area was on lock down. Plus him having 2 dad's kids might tease him thoughhis dad's are in a band so they might think that's cool. I see everyday kids between ages 10-15 are committing suicide because of bullying even younger than that. At least 3 teens in the last few years around here have killed themselves because of bullying. My sister was bullied a lot in school she graduated about 10 years ago thank God because it seems bullying has gotten worse since she graduated. Now kids don't even seem to care if another commits suicide. Is it safe for him to go to public school ? Should I be worried about him ? |
