Posted: 12 Apr 2019 04:05 PM PDT She said she will never drive. . I told her what's gonna happen if I die or something while she relying on me. And she said her boyfriend will take over. I said what if he dies and then she said she will figure something out. We live in a dangerous city where there are shootings left and right so I really don't feel comfortable with her walking or taking an Uber with some unknown person. We don't live in an area with huge public transportation. Every Saturday I'm driving her to 3 different grocery stores to do her grocery shopping. She basically takes over my entire Saturday which is both of our off days for work. I pick her up from work while her mother takes her because it works with our schedule. Whenever she needs to go somewhere out the way her boyfriend takes her since I'm not about to drive places more than 35 minutes away.i told her this is insane and embarrassing because both of her younger brothers who are 18 and 23 are driving. She said she is scared she will have a bad car crash and end up killing her self. I'm just really tired of doing all this driving I'm exhausted but she's so terrified of driving. I think she needs to take her anxiety medicine and just get on with the show but what do yo all think |
Question: Was this a rude thing to do? Posted: 12 Apr 2019 01:50 PM PDT I follow a page on Facebook of over 20,000 followers, and someone posted a moderately funny meme. It was there for 4 hours, and he only got like 5 likes, so he bumped it for obvious reasons. So I said "didnt get enough attention huh? |
Question: I hope I handled this situation correctly? Did I? Posted: 12 Apr 2019 01:24 PM PDT A friend Linda who works in the same large office building as I do ask if I could drive her home as her car would not start. At her home, we were met by her teenage daughter Cindy who I had met previously. Linda ask me to stay for a dinner she would cook for me. As Linda was cooking dinner Cindy ask me if I would help her with her homework which I did. After we finished her homework, Cindy ask me if I thought her mom was cute. I told the truth, her mom was cute. Then Cindy ask me if there were guys that would want to date her mom. I told her with her mom's great beauty, yes there were lots of guys that would want to date her. That is as far as I wanted to take this conversation. However Cindy wanted to go farther. She said she wanted a dad and asked me to encourage her mom to start dating. I told her this was a conversation she should be having with her mom not me. Even though I was her mom's friend, the subject of her mom dating is none of my business. Cindy told me she would be the happiest girl in the world to call me dad. Would I ask her mom for a date? I told her that her mom was 10 years older than I was and probably would want to date someone her age. I again urged Cindy to talk to her mom about this. Mothers (and others) did I handle this situation correctly and should I tell Linda about this conversation. |
Posted: 12 Apr 2019 11:32 AM PDT My boyfriend and I are living at home until we can finance an apartment and we tend to watch movies a lot here but my boyfriend doesn't want to sit close to me when my parents are around if my boyfriend hears my parents come in the room he'll scoot away from me. Is it normal to be this afraid of simply sitting close to me. I didn't even think parents cared about this kind of thing. If you have an adult child who lives at home would you care about them sitting close to their partner or cuddling ( in a nonsexual way)? |
Question: Why do I keep experiencing bad; unhealthy relationship patterns? And how do I break it? Posted: 12 Apr 2019 06:31 AM PDT I am almost 24 years old going through a divorce. My ex-husband was very abusive towards me emotionally and sometimes physically. He was a narcassist. All of my exes were narcassists and abusive towards me which has left me feeling emotionally drained and devastated like I'm left with nothing. It seems like they take everything out out of me emotionally or financially and I give give. While I'm left feeling ignored, disrespected, emotionally neglected, not valued, unloved and unappreciated. It seems every man I come into contact with is a narcassist. They are all different people but the way the communicate, the things they say, their emotionally manipulative tactics are all the same and the way they were raised or brought up is very similiar. I am very aware of what is going on now due to having more life experience. And I believe it may stem from my childhood and upbringing. I wonder why I keep attracting these type of men. Sometimes I wonder if I am the problem. |
Posted: 12 Apr 2019 05:57 AM PDT You think they are trying to get fresh together or something? I would hope My daughter would be respectful enough not to have sex in MY home. She said she wouldn't have sex in our home and that she's a virgin I hope she's not lying. She said she just wants privacy to watch tv with him. It's normally only me in the house because my wife works in the evenings and my other son was somewhere with his friends. I always get off early so i'm always at home whenever her boyfriend comes over. He comes over normally when I pick her up from work( she doesn't know how to drive) She has not moved out yet because she only gets paid 1,000 a month. I'm pushing her to get a better paying job so she can afford to move out. The boyfriend lives with his mother as well. Her boyfriend comes over about 3 times a week and she cooks dinner a lot for him and entertains him as you would company. |

Question: Bipolar cheating vs cheating? Posted: 11 Apr 2019 07:59 PM PDT My boyfriend has been saying how he feels nothing but pain and shame. He says things will end badly with us and I found out he was getting on anonymous apps sending dirty pictures and talking dirty to other females. This is something that is completely out of character for him. He is now talking to a female and refuses to let me meet her because he said it would be uncomfortable for him.. well he was told he has bipolar last year but lost insurance so he couldn't get medicine , when asked why he cheats he says I don't know and when I ask again he says I really don't know I feel like I can't contain myself.. what does this sound like? |
Posted: 11 Apr 2019 07:13 PM PDT i just turned 27 and my boyfriend is 34, we've been together for 4 years and we both still live with our parents so we dont have our own spot to hang out at yet so we normally either hang out at my parents or his. wben he comes over my house to watch a movie he acts like he's afraid to sit too close to me, talking about my parents might think itts disrespectful.. uhhh..how.. it's not like we're having sex in front of them, |

Question: Am I at fault here and do I deserve what’s happened to me? Posted: 08 Apr 2019 12:09 AM PDT So my girlfriends grandparents have kicked me out and said I can never come back in their house and if I try to they'll call the police all cause my girlfriends little brother heard me cuss in front of my girlfriend even though she does too and also cause they blame me cause she calls her grandparents names and they think she got it from me. I can still pick her up and go out with her I just can't come in their house which in my opinion is just bs I never did anything to them I'm always respectful to them. I don't know if they're intentionally trying to break us up or what. |
