My sister is now obsessed with Sherlock Holmes after watching Holmes and Watson she loves him. She's been watching the show Sherlock on Netflix she also started watching Elementary on tv. A number of months ago, my mom learned about Catholicism and decided she needed to be Catholic. She converted to traditional Catholicism, as my mom would call it. She now goes to church at some group that calls themselves the SSPX, which stands for Society of Saint Pius X. Her decision to convert meant she had to divorce my dad because he had been previously married. The priests of the SSPX told her that would have to divorce my dad because she would be living in sin sin he is still married to his first wife. She was informed that if she wanted to get baptized and become a Catholic, then she would have to divorce my father. My dad is being very calm and accepting of her decision, though is very sad at the same time. This is really bothering me tremendously and I don't know how to cope with it. I really feel sad and emotional about my parents divorcing.

Last night after work bf said he was sick. He texted me he got home 3:30pm. I called him at 5pm. He said he just wanted to crash out and was falling asleep. He also said he was going to relax last night and all day today..Saturday. i work this Saturday which he knew. 2 hrs later 7pm i saw him on Instagram. Then at 2am he was active again. This morning before work my gut told me he wasn t home. I stopped by his house to see if he was feeling better. His car was not there. His parents answered the door and said shortly after coming home and showering last night..my bf left with a plastic bag. They thought he was ay my house. So I tried calling him at 7:50am and he didn t answer. Then at 8:10am he sent me a long text saying shortly after we talked last night his heart was acting up and the hospital kept him over night. He said he did not tell me or his parents becuase didn t want us to worry. In text he put "idk if you even believe me but that s where i was"..apparently the nurse said it was tachycardia and a mix of a cold. He said they gave him meds but he didn t take the prescription because it doesn t work. He says they gave him paperwork. When I called hospital they said there is NO RECORD of him being there within 24hrs. I told him they said he wasnt there...he said he was in the parking lot and was gathering his things when i called. Also said he doesnt know why they said he wasn t there. Is he a liar? Usually hospitals will tell you if someone was just in ER.

my lawyer who i paid 250$ up front 3 weeks before the court date tomorrow for my child custody issue just messaged me he cant make it! i had texted him the court date 3 weeks ago but now he said he didnt see the text.... this is the first time i paid him up front and had to drive 50 mins to pay him ...he had asked for the money up front from me..i paid him in cash....i asked him for a refund he is telling me once he settles with another client the money from that then he can pay me back>...i get the feeling that he is trying to kick me to the curb and fooling me...what can i do here???? my court is tomorrow morning...

I was born in Canada and grew up here all my life . My wife is Japanese was born in Japan and lives in Japan . I'm supposed to leave for Japan to be with her and live with her this weekend. My BF is from outside of the USA and recently moved his mom in with him. She is in good physical/mental shape, but has never lived alone (his father passed away). If he and I take the next step decide to get married I'm not sure I can live with his mom. She and I get along fine, but I feel like we lose our privacy. There is the option of finding her a place of her own, but this brings a lot of expenses as she depends on him for everything. If he and I get married should I be expected to help support his mom?? He has siblings. I feel terrible asking this, but it is stressful.

So here is the situation I have 2 brothers and I am currently torn between them both. My youngest brother got married 20 years ago and has 2 children with my Sister In Law ( who I do love like a sister ) however they separated 4 years ago and are still legally married. My brother has a new girlfriend of 2 years now, so has moved on with someone new. Why they haven't divorced yet I don't know but neither my brother or sister in law have mentioned getting divorce. Now this is where things get confusing I also have an older brother who is now dating my sister in law that my younger brother is still legally married too. They have been dating now for 11 months but didn't say anything and kept it a secret until they announced it on social media a few months ago. Obviously my younger brother is not happy that his brother is dating his wife and mother of his children and has stopped all contact with his brother and is now annoyed that I might not approve of this new relationship, but I love all three of them and want them all to be happy. So my question is...Is my sister in law and brother wrong in dating each other or is my younger brother over reacting? Also how do I stay mutual in this situation where someone is one siblings ex but now another siblings current partner?

a man from a dating site that I chatted with a few times and gave my phone number to was trying to call me to talk on the phone. He was unable to reach me..he then noticed that I was on the dating site and he called at at 4 am and left a message. I dont believe I ever gave him permission to call me at that hour either. A few hours later he seen me on the site and asked if he can call me again. I told him I was going to bed but we can talk another time. He then asked if he can say "goodnight" to me. I reponded by saying he was being too pushy..but I said it with an LOL..to make my point but in a lighthearted way . Anyway, he wound up calling me anyway..this angered me so much at this point that I picked up the phone and said, "take me off your list!" and I hung up on him. I then sent him a message on the site saying how annoying he was and I blocked him from the dating site. I now feel kind of bad that I got so nasty with him but his level of annoyance was so troubling to me! I was also having a bad night so he got me at the wrong time! Was i too rude to him? or was I right to snap at him and hang up on him like that? will choose best answer. Thanks

When i first texted him he was asking so many questions which i kept dodging. He said i was a challenge. He said he was interested. Then as soon as i stopped holding back and tried to give him a chance to get to know each other in a more real way, he basically ghoated me. Lmao.
