At age 52 it's to late to start a marriage.

Last year, my husband and I were separated. We were privately communicating via email about our kids and I saw that he was secretly sending these emails back to his dad. He said his dad "has connections" with lawyers (despite not being from this state and knowing nobody and not being a lawyer but trying to give legal advice". I am still angry. Why would a middle aged man try to frame the narrative and back stab me this way? Should I be distrustful of him?

Me and my wife were going to have a baby a couple years ago but she had a miscarriage at 5 months our son would have been 2 this year on Valentines Day aka his birthday. She had our daughter at 2 months early she's 3 weeks old now she's doing great I believe that her brother was looking out for his little sister. I don't know how we're going to tell her about him I don't know when the right age is for that. I know Valentines Day is rough for her we don't even have sex the only thing we do is either have dinner or go to a movie I try to make it less painful for her. How can I comfort her ?

My wife has never told me explicitly that she thinks I am uptight. She has said that I worry too much and need to relax. She has also said that she is careful about what she says to me because sometimes I overreact. I admit that I am a bit tightly wound sometimes, but does that lead to divorce?

Me & my wife been having problems for last 6 months. She doesnt express herself which always leave be clueless then things suddenly come out when she is angry. It is like me always trying to solve and she only trying to complain. Then at some point with all the stresses i made a mistake. I went into having random sex with different women for a month while i was still trying to work on my relationship which actually started to improve. Then i started to receive messages from different numbers threatening that they found out i was married and that they ll inform my wife and my work colleagues about my promiscuity. That continued over a month and i was so distressed but ignored them. Then one day my wife came crying as she received a message telling her i been having sex with other women. I denied it and told her i ll report to the police. At that point she said she found out about me and it was her sending the messages. I m not denying my mistake but it wasnt me. It was just a phase and had i not been unhappy in my marriage i d have never done it. I d have prefered if she came to me and spoke about it and we worked on it together. The fact that she was sending these messages yet smiling and completely normal while seeing me distressed is scary. Its rather criminal. She also didnt deny that she reacted wrong and she only did that becz she wanted me to come and confess it to her. Is her reaction to what i did is normal? I feel unsafe with her.

I dated a woman for 8 months or a little more and we agreed to settle together etc. Right after we got married we got into some serious trouble with her brothers and parents. They flipped out on me and started to boss me around. Since we dated and intended to get married i always asked why her family was so hostile, she said they're not, they just ignore everybody. Soon after we married they started insulting me and damage my property. Until one day her brothers assaulted me etc. I filed a police complaint and issued an arrest warrant, at that point she left me for the past 7 months. Right after they assaulted me, i grabbed my gun and she stopped me. I told her if she dont bring them to ask for foregivness the next day, she will pay the price. 2 months go by and she never calls them, so i start slapping and humiliating her every week or two until she left. Anyway, we divorced but i still lover, am i sick or crazy ?

I move to the US 3 years ago and I met my husband there, this is the first time we are visiting my family in Portugal, I haven't seen my family in two years and my husband has never been here Yesterday we were talking and I mention that one of my cousins that he just met only dates black guys, and he started to accuse me of dating them too and lying to him because if I used to hang out with her I must have the same preference that she has. He started to go through my Facebook and because I had a photo on my Facebook from a Christmas FAMILY dinner wearing a fur vest and a gold watch like everyone else did back in 2010 in Europe, he says that I was a s*lut that only likes black guys I'm starting to think that he just doesn't want to see me happy, I've been so happy since we arrived and today after his accusation all I did was cry I don't understand why he is judging me or my family, they have been nothing but nice and respectful towards him, they are always asking if he needs anything and making him feel at home and I feel that he is judging just because our houses here are not small and we drive older car than on America, I don't know what to think, he literally called me a s*lut and a liar while my dad was right in the next room

My husband always asks me to lock the door from the inside when he leaves so he doesn't have to lock it with his keys. it's getting annoying because he'll ask me to walk across the apartment to lock it. I think he should just lock it because he's right there. Am I wrong or should I walk across the apartment to lock it? Obviously I will lock it if I'm already standing by the door.

I started a friends with benefits relationship with a man not that long ago..we only had 2 encounters together. My girlfriend is pushing for me to spend time with her dad. She introduced me to her parents and her mom and I hit it off great, but her dad didn't really say or do much. He wasn't rude or anything, just not really friendly or talkative. In the times we've talked since I think the longest conversations we've had has been about the work I've done to my truck and fishing. Anyway, recently she's brought up me spending more time with him (and her). I already feel like he's not a very "warm" person, but she feels he just needs to be around me more. What should I do? I know I'll have to do this at least a few of these outings, so should when I spend time them should I give him space or try to interact with him? I'm not a real "people person" so this is new to me.
