Question: What did his comment mean? Posted: 19 Jan 2019 04:03 PM PST I had said goodbye to a guy who was with a group of people and one of his responses was touching his head and said "you should get a haircut to be efficient!" I think he was saying it to another guy in the group. Is it because I only said hi to him and not the others? I'm female. |

Question: Places I can go to make friends? Posted: 19 Jan 2019 03:08 PM PST People often say clubs but I can't find any. I'm socially anxious and have a hard time approaching people. Should I just get some sort of medication like Xanax and approach people on the streets? |
Question: My best friend s mom hates me and doesn t want us to text!!!!? Posted: 19 Jan 2019 02:05 PM PST I became friends with this girl this year, and we ve been good friends for almost 6 months. Their mom barely even knows me since I ve never been to their house. I met their mom once, after we d been friends for a few days, and she seemed very grouchy and irritated to have to talk to me, but nothing else happened with her mom for a long time...until last week. My friend unfollowed me for no reason on social media and later, at school, told me she texted me. I said it won t send if they aren t following me because of my account settings. But then they just deleted the text and wouldn t follow me. I later found out that actually the texts will send and I misunderstood, so I texted them and asked why they don t want to follow me. They said "Idk sorry 😂." I asked them if their mom said they can t, and apparently their mom demanded that she unfollow me right away. A few days later, her mom is still furious at me and even though my friend denies it, I know her mom hates me and is really angry. I have no idea what I did and I hate her mom back, but no one knows. I don t think she wants us to be friends, and I don t want to lose my best friend because of her mom. Her mom even put a time limit on her phone to keep her from contacting me. I have no idea what i did and for some random reason she hates me. My friend has refused over and over to ask her mom why, and refuses to have a serious conversation about it. We always end up fighting when I talk about it. What should I do??? |

Question: Why would a guy become distant when you started dating somebody? Posted: 19 Jan 2019 01:13 PM PST Long story short: I've been friends with this guy for almost 2 years. He's married with a family. We used to be closer, but in the last year, we've drifted. I got into a relationship almost 4 months ago and since then, my guy friend has become super distant. He didn't even wish me a "happy birthday" nor did he tell me that he and his family weren't going to be able to make it to my birthday lunch, due to work. His wife had to tell me. When we are alone together, there's such a bond between us. He shows he cares about me and has concern for me, but other than that, we never talk anymore. He has barely tried to get to know my boyfriend, although he used to say he wanted to meet and approve of any guy I chose to date. Why would he become so distant when I got into a relationship? He's almost 39, I'm 28. He's met my boyfriend, but he's never really tried to get to know him and give him the 3rd degree like I always thought he would lol. About 2 months ago, we had ridden alone together and had a good chat and it just felt good. 2 days later when my boyfriend and I saw him at church, he didn't say a word to us or acknowledge us. I messaged him later saying he was quiet that day and asked if he was okay and he said yes. Is he just trying to respect my relationship? People in relationships can have married guy friends. Shocker, I know!! Joy, honey, you clearly live in a bubble. |
Question: This woman won’t text me until I’m ready to hangout with her? Posted: 19 Jan 2019 12:00 PM PST So this woman who told me she's not interested in dating said she won't text me until I'm ready to hangout with her in so many words. She's agreed to help me find work, find a place, and she's given me some dating advice. She seems like a good person and I'm interested in hanging out with her. I'm just afraid to because I've been a homebody for a long time. I seldom leave the house. I only leave when I need to for appointments for instance. She said she wants to help me come out of my shell. I don't know what to do. Not that it matters to me but she happens to be black and I'm white. My mom isn't too fond of whites and blacks mixing together even if they're just friends. |

Question: Why is this girl copying me? Posted: 19 Jan 2019 11:30 AM PST So I was sort of friends with this girl and then we lost contact after a bit. I started posting photos of social media that I had taken up dancing and then she messaged me asking how long I'd been dancing for, and where I danced at She said she'd like to join me at the dance school and we could go together Then I posted on social media that I started dating two guys and she messaged me saying 'where do you get dates from? I never get dates' and then I told her I had been doing online dating and so she then joined online dating and showed me pictures of guys she'd been speaking to and asking me who I was speaking to and how it was getting on. Recently I had uploaded photos of me doing dancing on social media, and she then told me she had got back into dancing and if I wanted to go dancing with her. I might be wrong but I feel like she is using my ideas and copying me. She never supports or likes the posts of me dancing, but when she sees them, she messages me straight away. Why is this girl copying me? |

Posted: 19 Jan 2019 10:14 AM PST There's a former high school classmate of mine that I'm friends with on Facebook. We're both 40 now. I am constantly amazed by the woman she is and what she has gone through to get to where she is mentally, spiritually, physically (her ex-husband basically held her and her kids hostage and fired shots at responding cops). She lives in a state near mine and we've mentioned hanging out we're ever in each other's area. Sometimes I fantasize about us together having fun, kissing, cuddling, fondling, pleasuring each other. I touch myself a little during this but climaxing doesn't feel right to me. Or am I overthinking it? |

Question: Nothing to live for? Posted: 19 Jan 2019 03:07 AM PST I'm 19, female, I am planning on joining the Army as a Driver. I'm in England, I go to a Military Preparation College (it's not like Harrogate) anyway all the guys there are vile little bullies, they slag off and are horrible to anyone they don't find attractive, none of them say sh*t to my face though, they're all cowards. Only the prettiest girls are liked there, it just makes me insecure, I get pushed out of groups and stuff, when they're on their own they are fine, they're all 16/17 year old immature parasites that wouldn't do or say sh*t, especially the girls, none of them say anything to anyone when they're alone. I'm fighting back though, not letting them to what they did to others and push them out of the college. I do have friends but we aren't close, I don't really have anyone. Maybe it doesn't help that I'm quiet but I couldn't careless about as*holes in the college. I definitely wouldn't p*ss on them if they were on fire. They're all two faced as well. I have tried to commit suicide, it failed, I was sick many times after though, it was green so not sure what happened there, I feel ok now though, the only thing I regre it not succeeding but I don't succeed at anything else. I also will never overdose again, it was painful. READ COMMENT FOR MORE |

Question: Does he still have feelings for me or just angry? Posted: 18 Jan 2019 10:24 PM PST I broke up with my ex 2 years ago and have been with someone else for a year now. I broke it off when I moved to Ireland for a whole year for an internship after college. I wanted to start my life over and didn't want to be in a relationship anymore. We dated for 6 years and it was one of the hardest thing I ever had to do. Long story short, I invited him on my 25th birthday last Saturday cuz I wanted to put everything in the past and be his friend. He showed up, but was very agitated throughout the whole night. He had no idea I had a bf till I introduced them to each other and surprisingly they conversed well. I thought we were on a good note until he texted me the next day. Below is the conversation: Him: You know you could have just told me that you cheated on me. That would have made it easier for me to get over you rather than being left without a closure and an actual reason. You were living your best life in Ireland while I was so broken. What happened to not wanting a relationship? You threw our 6 years away just like that to be with him? Me: I'm not sure where this is coming from but I never cheated on you. We broke up 2 years ago and I met Nick a year ago. The night we broke up, we talked for 2 hours. I did not leave without a closure. I was hoping to be friends but it seems like you still don't want anything to do with me. He never replied after that. |
Question: How to cope with loneliness? Posted: 18 Jan 2019 09:57 PM PST I'm 25 and in grad school. Have great prospects for jobs and I'm not tied down so I could get a job anywhere in the country when I graduate. I've recently left a long relationship that wasn't healthy and overall I'm a lot happier/healthier. However, she was my best friend and we did a lot together. I'm in a new city and an friends with the people in my program but it's not like undergrad. All I do is work, study, and go to the gym. I know I need to just keep my head down and get a good job, but I've found that on weekends when I don't have much going on I just keep to myself because I don't have anything to do. Any suggestions? |
