Posted: 20 Jan 2019 01:36 PM PST I looked up the house, the nearest gas station is a 30 minute drive from the house, the nearest Walmart is a 45 minute drive away, and the few other stores are huddle around the Walmart. The house can't even get cable or fiber internet, just horrible Hughesnet and slow mobile service. There's no Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, Postmates, even the Pizza Hut by the Walmart won't deliver there. My mom doesn't even want to go but my step dad threatens to divorce if she doesn't do what he says, and my mom only makes a few hundred more dollars a month than I do, and my sister isn't even old enough to move out, so she has to take care of her. You're supposed to have an income three times your rent, for me the max is about $300 a month, even with roommates, this can be a challenge to find, and then I'm still left with just $700 a month for food, phone, car, etc. I hate rural life, and without being able to drive, I can't even get a car to commute to any city! |
Posted: 20 Jan 2019 01:07 PM PST My parents found out that my brother who is 23 moved his 20 year old girlfriend into his house with him recently. They have been together for about 4 years. My Parents are extremely upset about this. My dad kept saying he doesn't like this over and over again. He said it's not right. He said he knows my brother is grown and paying his own bills but he still doesn't like it and he's entitled to say his opinion. He said if that girl gets preganant it's going to be a problem. Both my mom and dad are pretty angry about this but my dad seems more angry than my mom. He said my mom would be going ballistic if I moved in with my boyfriend ( which she would, i agree). I remember when i spent only one night with my boyfriend for my birthday and my mom was losing her mind. I'm 26 btw, but i still live at home as i cannot afford to move out. My brother has a much better paying job than i do. |
Posted: 20 Jan 2019 01:01 PM PST My child father and I have a one year old together and things had gotten so toxic between us with the calling of the police, my job by his new girlfriend, he calls me bitches, he has a 3 bedroom apartment with 9 people in it and they are always arguing the entire situation is toxic..The first of this year I completely cut off communication with him he's also a narcissistic.. I'm Not keeping my son from him I just can't deal with the drama and the disrespect. I rather everything be done through the courts. Which he said he's taking me to court so he can get legitimize and get his visitation rights all which I'm okay with but my question is how many days do you think the judge will give him.? Anyone have experience with legitimize and visitation |
Question: Why do girls cry over guys ? Posted: 20 Jan 2019 12:46 PM PST My sister is obsessed with this actor his name is Andrew Scott I don't know who he is all I know is he's an English actor he played Moriarity in the tv show Sherlock which is the show she's obsessed with. She's upset with him because she found out he was gay. She might be upset with him but I think she be even more depressed being married to him she'll have all that money all the attention also she said he can be a very serious actor so she'll probably be bossed around a lot by him which will upset her even more but she's been bullied a lot she said she wouldn't mind having all that attention also he's old enough to be her dad she said he doesn't look that old he looks like a teenager he kind of does in a way. I don't get what the deal is with girls and male celebrities. She might like having all that attention for a while but she'll probably start to get bored with it. Being a gay man myself I been with a girl all I can tell her is that gay men don't normally like being with girls they rather just stick with being with guys I don't tell her that because it'll upset her. Why do girls cry over guys ? How can I help her feel better ? |
Question: Is it possible that I could adopt her and even if I could should I? Posted: 20 Jan 2019 12:35 PM PST I am a 25 year old single guy with a 15 year old niece Jill, my sister's daughter. Jill often comes to my house for help with her homework. If we finish her homework late she spends the night a my house and I take her to school the next morning. She told me she was a nervous wreck from her mom and dad fighting all the time and they were getting a divorce. She wanted to stay with me until the divorce was final. I told her that was OK with me but she needed her parents OK which I thought would not happen. However her parents thought it was best for her not to see them fighting all the time and agreed she could stay with me until there divorce was final. I was very surprised by their decision but I think they were thinking of what their fighting was doing to Jill. Jill moved in with me and has been living with me for 2 months. She is a very nice person and is no longer depressed. We have had a lot of fun time together going to school events and sporting events. Jill ask me if I would adopt her so she could stay with me permanently. I told her that I doubt if her parents would let that happen. I don't know if you can adopt someone that has living parents. Does anyone know if that can be done? Would a better solution be to just let her live with me as long as her parents are OK with it? |
Posted: 20 Jan 2019 10:56 AM PST My brother just died in a shooting incident. He was shot while coming from jogging in another neighborhood. I'm his 14 year old little sister, he's 23, i'm here at home with my other older brother who is 27 years old. .Right now he is seeing about the funeral preparations and told me to think of ways to break it to mom and dad, when they get home from the grocery store. What should I say? He was shot because the bandits stole his iPhone X. I'm so sad, I loved him, he used to call me, his "sugar muffin". I don't know if mom will be okay. My other brother is not letting me go anywhere by myself from now on, he just said this to me. |
Question: How do I keep my sister from killing my dad? Posted: 20 Jan 2019 10:39 AM PST My sister is sick as a dog and refuses to take any medicine for it. Meanwhile, my dad has a serious concussion and is recovering from cardiac arrest, and if he starts coughing like she is, he could end up back in the emergency room. How should I kick her out of my house? |
Question: How to deal with parents who have favorites? Posted: 20 Jan 2019 10:29 AM PST My parents have always favored my little sister no matter what. She is the princess and could do no wrong. Me on the other hand I could be sitting on the couch doing nothing and my parents just start yelling at me to do crap. I am tired of it!!!!! |
Question: Legal question about being a teen mom? Posted: 20 Jan 2019 10:29 AM PST So I'm moving out in March! I am 17 turning 18 in October I am having my son in February my question is will my mom be able to find out where I'm taking my son to see a doctor or pediatrician? Am i able to tell them to not tell her? |
Question: Have you ever stumbled unto other people's secrets and wish you hadn't? Posted: 20 Jan 2019 09:20 AM PST I learnt that my cousin has been raped when I stayed at his place and he was away. He put a map of his forensic medical exam in the bottom of a box where he also put his old books and papers, which I happened to open (just to kill time). I didn't know what it was when I opened it, as I thought it was his old term papers and I wanted to see what he wrote. I only skim the first page and put everything back in. I'm back home now and don't know what I should do, or think. We're like brother and sister, but I couldn't bring myself to tell him what I've learnt. Perhaps he'd be angry, although I didn't mean to snoop and we were in the habit of borrowing things from the other's room when we were still living in the same building. I know he was suddenly very withdrawn early last year, and my aunt said at that time that he was having troubles with his studies, and that it would clear up. I don't even think my aunt (his mom) knew, because no mother could have said that casually (as she did), had she known the real story. I don't know if he has told the police (I don't think so, or we should've heard, right?), or gone to a shrink. He's still with his girlfriend, though, who lives near us. He stayed at her place last Christmas, but I don't think she knows either. I remember telling him during Christmas dinner at my place that he always looked sadder now, and she said (without malice) that it's called becoming an adult. What should be done in my position? I feel sad now knowing this. Actually I don't want to say/ do anything, as it'd be super awkward. I just feel bad knowing this, and feel like perhaps I should comfort him or do something. I wonder how it could have happened, too - not curious, exactly. It's just like there is a dark cloud around him, and I don't know him that well anymore. Idk - difficult to explain. I wish someone could help enlighten me. Whatever you say, I'm not trolling. I'd be crazy to post this with my real name and run the risk, however tiny, to disclose our identity. Those who think I'm trolling, just simply don't reply (why feed the troll?). For those who really need to know, what I saw in the map is only the first page. I don't even know if the pages underneath have anything to do with it. I just remember seeing the words 'forensic medical exam', as well as a kind of coordination of treatment of injuries, and then I closed the map. Doubt the question as much as you like, I'm not going to undo the anonymous function just to please you. And thank YOU for the real answers. It's not like I can ask such a question to anyone around me. |
Question: Is it normal that she does'nt invite me for food? Posted: 20 Jan 2019 08:55 AM PST I live with my brother his wife and their children since I was 11, I give them money for my food and expances every month eversince, My brother's wife makes food and call her kids to eat with her and their father but she does't call me and she even refuse to put food for me if kids tell her "put food for uncle" Sometimes they eat all the food and leave nothing for me I don't care that much about eating and most of the times I send the kids to buy food for me I just feel sorry for myself to get this treatment I wanted to leave this house long time ago but I'm poor in a poor country and have no place to go She keep telling me through 14 years,"why you live with us"? "When will you leave?" |
Question: How do I explain this if asked? Posted: 20 Jan 2019 08:33 AM PST I moved to another state and in with my cousins because I was in a really bad place and I needed to get away for a year or two. About a month or so before I left I struck up something romantic with one of my friends. We decided to do a long distance thing and see where it goes until I come back and then we could date and see how that goes. I will be going home in June for a week for my cousin's wedding and to spend time with my mom, family and my friend. More than likely I'll see him at night, but I know if I don't stay over my mother's or go to somebody else's family home she's going to ask questions. I love my mother, but she will start an argument over this no matter what I say. My mother always wants to control my life and deep down I know she's coming from a good place but it's my life and I'm going to do what I want and she certainly should have no say in my love life. So when this topic comes up which it will what do I do? |
Question: Is being open about your remarriage to your kids inappropriate? Posted: 20 Jan 2019 08:29 AM PST My mum recently got remarried about 6/7 months ago, for the first 5 years of my life I ve lived with my mum and dad in a very emotionally abusive household which was of my dad s doing. And now that my mum s remarried, and I ve been met with a stepdad, my mum has grown very hostile and cold towards us whenever I ask anything about her remarriage ( "how often will things stay like /this/ or /that/?" "Do you want to have any kids?" ) and she usually responds with a very sarcastic remark with no awser, And overall ignores me saying that I have no say in anything she and her husband do and that I should stay out of everything, which has caused me great confusion and pain that perhaps my mother will grow more and more distant from me and my younger brother as time passes by ( im currently under my grandmother s custody and living with her ) I ve tried talking to her a few times but she usually just pushes me off and says I have no say, i really need some help right now because I m very tired of just putting up a facade for my mum and stepdad that everything s alright and that I m happy 24/7 If any mothers are on here id appreciate your opinions as well |
Question: My mother is stealing from me ??? Posted: 20 Jan 2019 08:20 AM PST I'm really confused about this. My mom gave me a car worth the agreement of paying the car note and my portion of the insurance. Well she recently had her car taken from her for faulsifying where she worked so they took the car back. So in her desperation she's been looking for another car instead of just sharing the car she has. As long as I get to work. Well, that wasn't enough for her and I guess she didn't want to help with the car that she has. So she went and purchased a mother car. I can't go into detail because it's a lot. But to sum it up, I have her the car note money. Then after 3 days I asked has she paid the car note several times and she's told me he's. Straight to my face. But when I check the website that you pay through, it says it's past due. I use this car to get to work. She has another car already. Should I say somting or just wait until if it gets towed. I'm really hurt through. And I need advice. |
Question: Tomorrow marks 5 years since my grandmother died. How should I mark the anniversary? Posted: 20 Jan 2019 07:24 AM PST In 2014 my grandmother died on Tuesday, January 21, 2014. The night before her death I went by and she was sound asleep so I told my Dad who was staying with her I'd come back in the morning instead of waking her up. She died over that night. She had cancer and we knew it was going to happen though thought she had a few more weeks. I felt so guilty I did not wake her up, I still do today on the eve of the anniversary. However. I had seen her and visited a while after work that day. She meant a lot to me and my grandfather had just died the previous summer so it hit hard. So with tomorrow being the anniversary how should I mark it? Also, how do I distract myself from the upset memories of a death in the family? Anniversaries of sad events always make me feel as though they are happening again and so her death anniversary does just that. Last summer I was having many flashbacks and could not focus on my grandfather's 5 year anniversary or that whole week. It was like a PTSD thing. His death was sudden so more dramatic of a memory. |

Question: I have to see my sister today. She is so mean and bully-like at 22. What do I do? Posted: 20 Jan 2019 06:19 AM PST She is riding with my parents and I to a party 45 minutes away. My sister is a cruel person even at 22 especially if she is having something called hormones act up that my Mom says make people mean on their period. Not really sure what that is but my sister is always mean. What do I do in the hour and a half all together I will be in the car with this mean person? 45 minutes there and 45 minutes back. |

My mom is hearing voices and seeing people and the doctor put on a hold. I haven't been asleep yet. A few minutes ago my stepmom came in my room and said she was going take my phone and iPod away and stay with me and try to help me go sleep. Question: Am I the Next drake ? Posted: 19 Jan 2019 09:37 PM PST Im 17 and I'm always upset and it's about personal stuff , mostly about stuff in the past , things that I wish I could go back and change or things I should've done differently. Question: I hate my life so much? Posted: 19 Jan 2019 07:34 PM PST I hate my life. My parents seem to ignore me. They only pay attention to my brother who is autistic. He is high functioning but still requires a lot of reminders and help. My sister is a good dancer and everyone in the family is so proud of her. Between her and my brother I get no attention and every time I talk to my parents they just end up giving me a lecture on how ungrateful I am. I just want to run away |
Question: Should we go to dinner with my family again? Posted: 19 Jan 2019 07:20 PM PST We cut them out because they're so toxic. They get pleasure when they know you fail at something. Haven't talked to them in more than 15+ years and got call from them asking if we want to go out to dinner....also asking about the issue I am struggling with(to make me squirm) |
Posted: 19 Jan 2019 07:07 PM PST Alright so my mom and dad just finished a custody battle and I'm being told papers are still being written. I told the Guardian ad litem I'd like to do 1 month with my mom, then 1 month with my dad, and switch off every month, as right now we do every other weekend. I do full online school, so I could easily do my school at either house. My dad says that if my mother agrees to this happening, it could happen. My mother says that even if she did agree, it cant happen since the judge ruled I stay with her and go to my father's every other weekend. Which would be true? |
Question: My father is a drunk? Posted: 19 Jan 2019 06:33 PM PST I feel as if I'm too old for this, but ever since I was a kid I always had family problems. Yeah, my self esteem suffered. Anyways, I'm 22 years old, 3 scholarships, and I'm a college senior. I met the woman of my life, I work a part time as a security guard, and yeah. I'm doing well in life so far. I'm pretty confident in myself as a young adult. Anyhow, housing my first year of college was ridiculous. My mother's letting me live home since then (I'm paying bills), but I'm starting to lose my patience with my father. My father has always been drunk and screams and cries. Saying that he's been cheated, and he's not a drunk, and he says he sees people on YouTube and sees the dead. My mother, I can say she's like a saint. She's always been there for me, and has always been loyal. Anyhow, a psychologist said my father might be bipolar. But my father refuses to receive help. Now, what is making me pissed off is that he calls my mother a whore, slut, *****, etc. and I feel as if he might even hit her (it's happened when I was a kid) of course, now I'm grown, taller than him, bigger, etc. my mom refuses to leave my dad. She believes in marriage till death. And I respect that, but how do I help my dad change his stupid ways? Deep down he's a good guy, but I don't know... |
Question: Mom limiting my screen time because of my brother? Posted: 19 Jan 2019 06:33 PM PST My brother's been glued to the Wii and his computer every day. When he's not doing homework, his eyes are fixed to the screen. Today, my mom shut off his computer and set a screen time limit, ensuing a screaming, hitting, and stomping fit like I've never seen before. The thing is, she does this every month, and she never enforces the limit. Now, apparently, her blame has shifted from my brother to me. Her logic is that because I'm "always" on my computer (doing homework, writing college/scholarship essays, with the occasional TV show/YouTube binge), I'm influencing my brother to always be on his computer as well. So then she decides that I can't use my computer for anything but school. How is this fair? Restricting my entertainment to control the mess that she created? What should I tell her or am I just overreacting and she's right? Side note: because I happen to be watching a movie when my brother sometimes comes into my room, he yells at his mom that he should watch a movie too because I'm watching it, and then my mom tells me to stop watching. This kid is a mess. He manipulates my parents to always get what he wants. Wow. I have a lot of problems. |

Question: Should I tell my cousin to not bring her sister to my party? Posted: 19 Jan 2019 06:21 PM PST If I am having a wedding or party, I want to invite my cousin, she is my favorite and I am her favorite but I HATE her sister. Her sister has negative attitude and she didn't invite me to her wedding so why should I inivte her anyway. Her sister had a fight with all my half sisters but I don't care about her fight with my sisters. I care about what she said about me 10 years ago, she was talking trash about me to my sister in law. I HATE that witch. I wanted to call my cousin and invite and say "Please don't bring your sister to my party or wedding, I don't like negative energy." My cousin does not even know I have issues with her sister. I just wanted to tell my cousin her sister is not invited |
Question: What the heck is wrong with my dad? Posted: 19 Jan 2019 04:24 PM PST Our school had a talent show this afternoon. My dad wore a pair of denim short shorts and a disgusting white tanktop to the show. When the first group of students were performing, he began drinking beer. He was slurping beer and farting really loud. When a student was up there playing the violin, my dad took off all his clothes, propped his legs up on the chair in front of him, and farted for about 20 min. When he had to go to the bathroom, he peed in a beer bottle, diarrhead on someone's hair, farted in an old man's face, and then wiped with a girl's dress. Then he rolled around naked in the aisles, screaming really loudly "gah gah gay gay poo poo pee pee ". The kids and teens laughed so loud like a pack of wild hyenas, while the adults were so confused and angry they didn't know what to do. |

Question: Having problems with my step kid? Posted: 19 Jan 2019 03:22 PM PST I'm currently the step father of two, four and one and a half. I'm having a lot of problems with the four year old, she has a big attitude problem, always talks back, never listens and throws temper tantrums when she doesn't get her own way. Whenever I try and correct the behaviour or even get the slightest bit mad her mother freaks out on me and sticks up for her, I understand I'm not the biological father but I'm the one who's looking after them and the one who stepped in when their real father abandoned them and I don't think it's too unreasonable to ask for a little respect. My girlfriend always says she considered me an equal when it comes to parenting but doesn't seem to want me to enforce any discipline to the kids even when they're flat out disrespectful, what should I do? |
Question: How do I get my sister to put on some pants? Posted: 19 Jan 2019 02:51 PM PST It's fifty degrees outside and my sister won't wear anything other than flip flops, short shorts, and t shirts. She has a fever because of this, but still refuses to put on real clothes, because she doesn't think it's cold enough for that, and in her eyes we're just a bunch of *******. Meanwhile, our dad just got back from the hospital. He's got a big wound on his leg and is recovering from cardiac arrest. How do I keep this middle school dumbass from killing herself and our dad? |
Question: Do you ever look at your wife’s or girlfriend’s daughters? Posted: 19 Jan 2019 04:21 AM PST I try not to but I can't help watching their butts jiggle running through the house. My soon to be wife has two daughters, both of them are a whole lot hotter than her. One is 18 and the other is 20... these girls look so delicious. I fantasize about the 18 year old getting hooked on heroin and is forced to screw me for drug money; or the oldest one falling asleep intoxicated with no panties on. Don't worry everyone I am not a rapist or anything. Its just a fantasy to do these sweet innocent girls. I don't understand why would a woman bring a perverse animal like me around their sweet delicious daughters. Maybe she unconsciously want me to colonize all the vaginas in her family lol. Guys just write me off as a troll I am not serious. Please share your experiences with this topic. |
