Question: My friend won’t get herself together and get a vehicle ? Posted: 25 Jan 2019 04:31 PM PST My friend doesn't have a car. She has to catch rides to work. She also has to catch rides getting home. Since March 2018 i have been taking her to work at least once a week. Sometimes more. I also work a full time job and sometimes i have to get up at 4:45 to take her to work and go back home and then get back up at 6 am to take myself to work. Sometimes I'll be so tired that i just give her my car to take herself to work and run her errands and then she'll just bring my car back when she's finished with work and other things etc. but sometime ami don't feel like taking her to work or I'm tired or i want to do other things and i feel bad but it's been almost a year what should i do? |
Question: Is this girl just trying to make people feel bad for her? Posted: 25 Jan 2019 04:16 PM PST This girl in my seech class had to make a presentation on herself and she had a list of at least 6 elementary schools she claims to have gone to. She said she moved around a lot when she was younger and never stayed in a place for too long. Despite her saying she knew some people at school, she claimed that she never really had friends growing up until she hit middle school where she stayed in one place for 3 years. I was friends with this girl until she started acting out towards one of my friends and literally kept talking about herself and had always seemed stressed and depressed. Gave her a gift that she returned to me a few days later. The way she acted over time was completely narcissistic towards many people. Does she have any right to say she didn't have friends growing up? And is it right for me to see her as narcissistic? I have a feeling she lied about all the schools she mentioned as well, because that just seems rediculous to have to go through that. I think she may be just trying to get sympathy from that. She constantly brought up her past towards us and a situation she had with a past friend which I also believe she only did it to get sympathy. |
Question: Giving gift back to friend? Posted: 25 Jan 2019 03:49 PM PST My friend had been avoiding me the day after they had given me a necklace and said 'our friendship is infinity'. They seemed mad at me and I truly felt horrible about it because I didnt know what I did wrong. Today, I was having a rough day with the whole thing and it took a toll on me. I ended up breaking down in class and crying because of the stress and my mind wasn't in the right place. I placed the necklace in her hand and told her to give it to her other friend. The same friend I ended my friendship with due to the constant arguments.. I ended up going to my next class where I broke down again and let my other friends, their friends as well, know what happened. Their closest friend told me that they actually had been mad at me because they believed I was Narcissistic and they dont like narcissistic people. I dont know if I even am one. My friendship with the person meant a lot to me, but I couldnt handle the ignoring and avoidance I received from them. I got mixed signals and it had my head spinning. Towards the end of the day their friend told me that they pulled the necklace out and most likely gave it to the one I told them too. I dont think I did the right thing though. I felt wrong to wear the necklace because she seemed mad at me. She didnt hesitate to take it. Something is seriously wrong with me. I just gave up on a friendship that I wanted so badly to keep. I felt like giving up in general that moment I gave her the necklace. I dont know what to do anymore.. |
Question: Problem with the app Bumble BFF? Posted: 25 Jan 2019 03:47 PM PST I just moved to a new area and I am looking for some friends in my area. I found the app Bumble BFF and decided to download it. They say that if you swipe right on someone in the app, you instantly connect with them and can start messaging them, but whenever I swipe right on someone, it doesn't say I've connected with them, and when I go to my Match Queue, the people I swiped right aren't there, so I can't start a conversation with them. I don't understand! Why won't Bumble BFF connect me with the people I swipe right? Do any of you use Bumble BFF? If so, what am I doing wrong? Why don't my connections show up? |
Question: What Is worse giving attitude or being fake towards someone ? Question: Should I volunteer to move my desk (work) because of these negative girls? Posted: 25 Jan 2019 03:01 PM PST Me and two other girls started working at this job at the same time. When I found out my desk is away from them and they are together at another corner, I was so happy. After few days later, coworkers who sit next to them complaint about how they talk too much and those two girls were moved to another area and they moved again. Third time being moved and now I sit in between them because they moved next to me. I hate it because they are so negative and I am already at a lowest point in my life, I don't need negative people around me. I don't mind them talking too much but I hate how they keep interfering in my work like what am I doing and they complain to each other about me. I am tired of all the bs. I don't like complaining to managers so I wanted to tell the supervisor that I'll volunteer to move the next time they are moving people. Is that a good idea? |
Posted: 25 Jan 2019 03:01 PM PST In the last 5 years, I was a serious adult who didn't joke or laugh so much. I didn't harm anyone and I didn't say bad things about them even in their absence. Yet, my serious personality made me the most hated person by all the people I met. So, a month ago I decided to lose all my seriousness and be a funny person. They liked the new me ! They even started to become a part in my life. BUT during that, I felt I betrayed my manhood, I felt I betrayed my age. What the hell should I do ? |

Question: Someone from my school texted me but I don’t know who they are? Posted: 25 Jan 2019 02:19 PM PST Someone who I'm guessing is from my school because they know who I am texted me but they didn't tell me who they were, they just said "are you still friends with ***** because my friend said you're not". They must know who they're texting because I used to be friends with that person however I don't know who they are or how they got my phone number. Should I reply or just ignore them? |
Question: I don’t have a best friend? Posted: 25 Jan 2019 01:57 PM PST Today, my school had a little party with music, food, etc. for the people that didn't get a referral this semester. However, I had nobody to hang out with. I stood there by myself. I tried going up to friends and saying "hi" but they just said a quiet "hi" back and didn't even look at me, they continued to talk and have fun with their best friends. I have friends that I talk to sometimes, but they all have closer friends and best friends. I don't. I don't have someone in which I'm their favorite friend. Thing is, I can keep secrets. I'm a good friend. I do almost anything for my friends. But they just ignore me in return. I was about to start crying just standing there, because I had no one. It's hard for me to make new friends, because I'm VERY socially awkward, and I care so much of what people think. Like I cannot stop. What do I do? |

Question: Did my friend behave inapropriately? Posted: 25 Jan 2019 09:40 AM PST I live alone. A friend who I went to college with occasionally comes on business, and we go out to dinner. We are both women in our late twenties. Her flight got cancelled a few days ago and she called me late at night and asked me if she could crash at my place. I said yes, sure. I offered her my bed but she said the couch was fine, so I gave her sheets and blankets. She had flown just for a day, and had no luggage, and told her I had no PJ's of her size (I am petite and thin and she is tall). She said not to worry. In the morning I got up and out to the kitchen and made coffee. She woke up, and I had imagined she would sleep in her underwear, so it caught me by surprise to see she was nude. I thought ok she is going to run to the bathroom or something but she just got up, said great, coffee is just what I need now and walked into the kitchen barefoot and naked to get a cup. I was wearing long-sleeved pjs and slippers, and it really felt awkward to stand there with her as she sipped her coffee and chatted with nothing on. I didn't want to say anything, she finished it and then asked if she could shower, I gave her a towel, she went in, didn't take her clothes with her. When she was done she changed in the living room, then thanked me, called an uber and left. What are your thoughts? |

Posted: 25 Jan 2019 12:58 AM PST I can guarantee you that if he found out by himself he wouldn't have guilt tripping me like he's doing now, total hypocrite. He sees me confident with the fact that I have a tiny penis and is interrupting my peace by guilt tripping me. Did I did the correct thing? |

Question: Is my friend bothered that I thanked him later? Posted: 24 Jan 2019 08:52 PM PST Sometimes, my friend gives me rides home from work. This happens MAYBE once a month, at least. He gave me a ride home tonight and I know I forgot to thank him. I wrote him a little later and said "I feel bad. I can't remember if I thanked you for the ride this evening, so thank you!" He said "No problem." and then said "I always assume people are thankful for things. I've never been the one that needed to hear it necessarily." Do you think he was bothered that I thanked him? He's incredible, Brad. :) He's incredible, Brad. :) |
Question: Why do I want to be friends with someone badly? (Edit)? Posted: 24 Jan 2019 07:00 PM PST Recently we had a new student, I've gotten tired of all the kids at our school cause they all are not the type of people I would hang out with. We got this interesting new girl, but I'm quite shy and couldn't approach her. In a matter of 2 days she became POPUALR and now I'm way to scared to approach her on my own. We've had a couple of conversations that lasted for like 5 mins, but she's already scared me off. Any advice? Edit: so I'm gonna clarify some things. 1. I dont like her, I've been in the same situation 2 times, I just wanna know why I'm like this 2. Being in the same situation, I've managed to become friends with them only because someone gave me a push. My friend threaten to tell on me and the other I just ended up asking for her name. 3. After becoming friends, the feeling wore off EXTREMELY fast after they accepted being friends with me, so I'm wondering what is causing the feeling to come there in the first place? Do I just want to make sure that everyone doesn't leave me out or am I thinking to much? |
Question: Trying to make new friends. Why are they ignoring me? Posted: 24 Jan 2019 06:26 PM PST I have lived in a new city for just under a year but I haven't made any friends. Every time I go out it is with old friends who are visiting for a weekend. I decided that this year I need to make new friends here. I went to a music festival on Sunday and met some really cool people. We ended up going to a bar afterwards and got to know eachother and they were in the same boat as me with no real friends in the city and we agreed we would meet up and get hold of eachother via social media. Anyway, I reached out last night and said would you wanna go out some time soon or go to another event together I'm really keen to hang out again. It's been nearly 24 hours and they haven't replied. They've been active and stuff but just haven't opened my message so I'm just feeling a bit stupid hahah. It's not like this person is a romantic interest either, it's strictly platonic sso I don't really get why they'd ignore me seeing as they wanted to hang out again. Anyway just wanted some other people's opinions? Cheers. |
