Posted: 25 Jan 2019 07:48 PM PST Hey so I am 16 years old a sophomore in high school and in the beginning of the year in my economics class I met this girl she is a senior and I had met her once back in February of my freshman year and I thought she was pretty but was talking to another girl at the time. So she remembered me as did I so we just became friends and at the time I wasn't pursuing a relationship but as we hung out more and more though the fall months I started to feel attracted so by the time it was November I fully caught them feels so then at that point I tried my hardest to pursue the relationship so before Christmas break I gave her a present and told her how I felt and she felt overwhelmed but said she didn't want our friendship go to waste so I gave here some time to think but she never texted back so we get back to school and we act like this never happened and ever since then we just talk as we did before just like friends but inside it hurts me to see that I can't be with her in that way and I just want be with her like every day and be together with her but I don't know what to say or wanna come off as a creep or anything I want to at least get something before graduation but I don't know. So how should I go about this should I leave it alone and move on or tell her once again? |

In one of them, I saw that a woman (just an acquaintance to him) reached out to him, assuming he is singnle, and said "hey I know this lady who is also divorced, with a kid, and might be a good match! I don't know anything about your personal life, but thought I'd connect you guys if you're interested." She sent him a bunch of pictures, and my boyfriend gave simple replies like "yeah she's pretty." When the woman said " I could invite you out with us sometime so you guys can meet, casually." He said "sure, okay." Obiviously even these simple texts were heartbreaking. We're very close and have been together over a year now... but we do keep our relationship mostly a secret from our friends and such (we're just private people). I question why he didn't just say "Sorry, I'm seeing someone." I don't know if he ever met the woman in person, or if he really meant anything by all of that... I feel terrible for snooping and don't know if I need to brush this off, or if I need to confess that I saw the texts and it hurt me that he even entertained the idea. Would love an honest perspective from a guy! |

He s a huge alcoholic and can get extremely angry/stupid. To sum it up - he s a mess. Anyway, up until I was about 11 he would sleep in the same twin bed as me. He s wrap his arms around me close to my breasts and have his front against my back. He also seems to stare at me a lot. He stopped sleeping in the same bed as me but always asks if I want to stay in his room for the weekends. I ve told my mom how he acts like a total weirdo but she just shrugs it off. I remember purposely staying up until after 12am just so I could be the last one awake and get into bed without him beside me. I d also avoid sleeping in a bed but it didn t work. He d practically lie on top of me, crushing my 9-11 year old body. I have strong memories of his arms wrapped around me. He just wouldn t let go. I was so scared something would happen to me one of those nights. Here's what happens: - Neither of us ever goes out of our way to talk to each other. - Starting conversations is not my strong suit. Most of the times we've had an actual exchange, he's initiated it. The times we've worked near each other for the day, he's initiated several exchanges throughout the shift, even when he could have easily avoided it. Never anything super meaningful but he's always friendly and it doesn't seem insincere. - His behavior when we see each other in passing is what I'm having the most difficulty interpreting. I do have kind of a neurotic impulse to say hi to people I've talked to when I see them around, and maybe not everybody has that to the same extent I do. But I feel like we've talked to each other enough times to be safely on a level where we would greet each other in passing. A lot of times, however, he doesn't even make eye contact with me. If he doesn't, then I don't say anything. If he does, I usually have to say something or else we'll just stare at each other and keep walking. |

I work at a small shop in the city and she just so happened to walk in today which to me was odd and it honestly seemed planned. She made a purchase, my co-worker helped her and then instead of leaving she decided to linger in the store and make conversation in a loud tone with another customer who she didnt know. There was a time like that at the end of the second and third date too. Do you think it's nerves? (mine! He's soo attractive!) or could it be that we were at another sit down bar getting drinks (should have done something more exciting?) he must be into me on some level to continue to hangout with me or at least find me attractive? We didn't know each other well though so it was all speculative. He's roommates with a close friend, and I visit / stay the night semi regularly, so we all are comfortable with each other. I'd always felt like he and I would get along really well if we ever had the chance, but we're both introverted and would only see each other when I was with his roommate. That changed recently when we came across each other one morning while my friend was still sleeping. We clicked and talked for 1-2 hours straight, then exchanged numbers to share links to interesting things. This continued a couple nights later, when we we texted back and forth about music for a few hours. The caveat (it's a big one): he is in a long-term committed relationship. I'd like to think we are both good, mature people with no ill intentions. Just two people genuinely intrigued by each other. I hope this can be the start to a great friendship, but I would be lying if I said it was completely platonic and it didn't feel like there was some underlying attraction. I don't want to drive a wedge into or break up a relationship. But I also don't want to ghost him when we're just starting to get to know each other and can be genuinely good friends. Posted: 25 Jan 2019 04:26 PM PST i feel like i just keep becoming more self destructive towards myself. i have an attitude that i can't get over and its not me. it's alnost like i'm insecure but not with the way i look but who i am as a person. i constantly get so sad thinking about my boyfriends ex. he likes her instagram photos. talks about her a lot. and i always hear people saying that we don't fit together and that he was cuter with his ex. my mind resorts to feeling like i'm nothing and thinking "well maybe they're right". my best friend always gets mad at me and when i try talking about my problems she acts like they don't matter. they're my only real friends and i just feel so alone in life. any small thing my boyfriend does makes me feel so bad about myself and if he says his exes name i feel upset. he started dating me by cheating on his ex wkth me and i love him so much but i'm so scared he will do the same again. i used to be so happy and positive but now i always put myself in the worst mindset and i tell myself i mean nothing and that everyone is better than me. this isn't me, why am i doing this? |

| Posted: 25 Jan 2019 04:17 PM PST the woman I dumped in October cheated on me. two days later she moved in with him! I then later found out she been with him before until I caught her. now I'm getting emails from her sending me pictures of happier times, plus shes texting my sister asking questions and teller her that she never cheated. and that she misses me so much. make a long story short she still till today living with him. my question is should I forward these texts to him and let him know whats shes up to and that shes up to her old games I know his number because I looked it up. or just let it go I have not communicated with her in any way shape or form. when I'm done I'm done and she knows that. thats why she's trying with my sister to open the door so to speak. personally I would love to fry her!!!! |
