My wife is upset because her cat had been limping on his right paw. We let him out about an hour ago sometimes he comes back at 10 or midnight she hadn't seen him. She doesn't know what to tell our daughter she loves these cats if something happened to him she wouldn't know what to tell her she's only 2 she'll be 3 in April. She hope's he comes back in the morning she said she won't be able to sleep tonight without crying she wishes she hadn't let him out she thinks it's her fault. How can I comfort her ?

It's like the moment I sense my husband is angry with me, I shut down because if I used to say something back to my parents after they made blanket blaming statement about who I was, they'd blow up at me even more. I was married abroad in 2011, my child was born in 2012. Husband was still not in the US, I was sponsoring him to come to US. Because he was not present, at the hospital I was told I could not sign for him on the birth certificate. Our child s birth certificate only has me listed as the mother and no father listed. We have been separated for 5 years now. I want to get divorced. I have tried before but in the Dominican Republic the father needs to be on the birth certificate. Can I get divorced in the US even though I was married abroad and does dad need to be on birth certificate to get the divorce? If so, how do I get him on birth certificate? We live in NY.

My wife has postpartum depression after having our daughter. Our daughter is 2 weeks old today she's still really depressed she hasn't been sleeping well we go to bed at 9 or 10 she doesn't get to sleep until 1 or 2 last night it was 3:30 but she wasn't feeling well last night. I work a 12 hour shift at night 5pm.I cook and go, but when I get off at 5am in the morning I go home to nothing being cleaned. I fix his plate and he just sits their on the couch and I tell him your food is ready he ignores me. He calls communicating with him a argument. Like many women get cheated on but they don't divorce.

In every relationship there seems to be topics you either tread lightly on or you completely bypass altogether. My husband has those hot button topics he hates when I bring up. Namely his truck. He bought a used SUV several years ago after the car he had was totaled in a wreck. He hasn't given me a key to it and he doesn't let me drive it. I have my own smaller SUV but sometimes I'll ask him to drive his and he'll ask me is there anything wrong with my car. I'll say no and then he'll ask me why I want to drive his car? This has been the issue for years. Granted, he doesn't have a key to mine because he said he doesn't have a desire to drive mine because he has his own. Last night we were discussing a potential cruise and he was mentioning that instead of driving it to the airport and parking it in long term parking till we we get back just to let his daughter drop us off and she'll keep it for the week to get around. My comment to him was, "wow, and you won't even let me drive it." Yep, that set him off. I had mentioned letting my son drive us to the airport but he said then both of our cars would be sitting home and no one would have access to them. We got into it over my comment and he said "haven't you gotten past that yet? Get over it." He then said something that really got my goat up. "Your weight is an issue for me but I don't keep bringing that up, now do I?" He feels that there are some issues that even couples shouldn't bring up. Why can't I drive his truck when I want to? He said that when I went to the car lot to get mine I picked out the one I wanted so I shouldn't have a problem driving it.
