This past year I've really struggled with friendship. My lifelong buddy has wandered away and found new and better friends. My other seemingly close friends bunched together and abandoned the rest of us. I'm no longer invited to any hang out. To begin with, I typically have a good idea when I'm not welcome or if I've done something to irritate another person. As far as I know, I haven't done a thing to make them act this way now. I know I'm not rude or "hoey" (they seem to look down upon such behavior), I'm not a "geek freak", and I am not an overconfident b****. In fact my self esteem has plummeted this year. I stay as humble as possible and always offer well deserved complements to them, for I still appreciate them despite the negligence I've received. Sometimes people say others act harshly because they are driven by jealosy. And again, I have not said or done anything boastful. I must say, in the most humble way possible, I do exceed in a few things such as athletics and academics. In addition to this, when we hung out once, I did something and someone asked,"omg why are you so good at that?!" To which another responded "she's good at everything." Although it may have been a complement, she had said it in a very belittling and aggresive tone which made me think otherwise.

I understand it's been months but I really only have had a bit of breathing room for about a month. With that time I've been trying to reconnect with my boys that I haven't seen in over a year and my sister who needs way more attention than I give her. Thank you for the card and coffee. Hello, I am a 20 year old who just finished the first semester of sophomore year in college. I have been going through a lot in my life and need a little advice. I went off to college with a girl, We decided to go to the same college and we started a relationship. We were together all those years but it was toxic. I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in 8th grade, and I dont feel like I've learned to cope with the disease still. I dropped so much weight at a Uni that I had to drop half my classes with the Disability Resource Center. I am now a full time online student working, and I life at home. I'm so sad that I couldn't make it and I feel more lonely than ever. I don't have many friends, but I am considered good looking. I'm trying my best but I feel like life is kicking me down. My ex is here but it brings me sadness. I just don't know how to improve my quality of life. Any advice?

I got myself in a situation, my name is Adrian ans im 23 years old. I became friends with this woman from work who's name is Selina. She is 34 married woth kids. Now me and her were just friends, we got along great, she had an amazing personality and sometimes she would flirt with me. I had a crush on her but i never told her since she is married. (Thats not true) our boss told us that we need to stop talking or else we could be fired. Me and Selina would still talk a bit behind everyone's back, i noticed she was very stressed. Alot of coworkers she has known for 10 years stopped talking to her. Before Christmas i gave her a gift card to her favorite coffee shop, she said thank you. Today i was pulled into a big meeting because Selina wrote and email saying "shes very stressed with everything happening at work. She said she has no motivation to go to work and my precens is threatening her with everyone else. She even mentioned that i got her a gift." Today i was removed from her floor at work. I dont understand why she would stab me in the back?? Can i please have some advice???? I actually trusted her

Hello ive been involved in alot of drama at work over a girl, I'm a 23 year old guy and I met this girl Nicole about a year ago at work. I enjoyed her personality, she was soo nice and caring. She knew I had a crush on her but  she was married, I respected her so I never said anything. She would flirt with me simetimes, but About 1 month ago, we both got into trouble because this dude Adam kept writing reports saying that all Me and Nicole doo is talk. So eventually our manager got involved and he told us we need to stop talking at work or we could be fired.  Alot of coworkers especially Adam began thinking that me and Nicole were flirting at work and I noticed everyone kept throwing Nicole under the bus. Everyone kept saying that Nicole does nothing at work, and Nicole was getting frustrated...all our coworkers on the floor began spying on us to make sure we didn't talk anymore. But Nicole and I still talked a bit behind everyone's back. One day 2 weeks ago I gave her a gift card for Christmas and she said thank you. But today I had a big meeting with my manager because Nicole wrote my manager a long email.  Nicole told my manager that she had been feeling alot of pressure at work lately, and she feels uncomfortable coming to work with everything going on. I was at my little nephew's birthday party the other day. This woman who is not a family member was there with her boyfriend. She saw my nephew come to me first out of everyone in the room. She said "you want to be with the big guy!" People in high school wanted me to play football. I think in this scenario, she was referring to my stature but then again my social skills are rusty. She didn't say it in a sexy tone so I think she was giving me a nickname.

Other women are jealous of me but I have nothing. I don't see what they are so mad about. I'm poor, it's hard for me to find a job, I have no money. They have everything, they travel the world & have money. I don't see why they are jealous...

So I owed someone some money. But I also paid for a bill and they had to give me their share. So instead of telling them that they should give me half the bill minus the money that I owed them, I said the whole bill minus the money that I owed them. Like what the hell

Almost every job i've had the guys are always working alone, not as a team and no one says anything. But being a shy girl it feels forced to be outgoing or else other girl co-workers give attitude and think you're not opening up to them or customers. I feel like I get stuck in situations where there's so much fake laughing and jokes with customers. I prefer to only speak with purpose, I don't like small talk. I always ask how customers "how are you doing today?" stuff like that. And when I'm on the other side of the counter as a customer, not working, I rarely get asked how i'm doing... So wtf? Am I just too worried what people think of me :/

A new friend of mine who has no black ancestry keeps using the n-word, but I don t know if I should say something? My other friend who actually is black always just laughs and apparently has given her "the n****-pass"? I always feel really awkward in these situations. should I say something or just let her be??

Whenever I sleepover at her house she may eat a couple chips. And by a couple I do mean a couple, and a single small burrito the whole day. Last time she only ate one small box of rice from a Chinese restaurant the whole day. At school whenever I eat with her she would never get lunch, having a different excuse every day (it's not a money issue, her family is a whole lot more wealthy than I am) a few days ago I told one of my friends about this suspicion and asked the friend to go to her favorite restaurant with us. The plan was to sort of "peer pressure" her into eating a normal sized meal, and it worked to some degree, I payed for her meal and told her that I'm gonna take a bite whenever she does, taking a bite every single time after she took a bite of her food and it kind of worked, she ate most of it (they were two taco bell bean burritos, she ate one and a half) and since then our new semester started and I dont have her lunch every day anymore so I told my friends about it and now they're trying to make sure she eats during lunch. So far since school started my friend got her to eat half a pb and j, I got her to eat a bag of chips (small bag but it was extremely hard to get her to eat) and today apparently she told another one of my friends she had no lunch money (wasnt true). What do you guys think is the best way to help her and get her to eat? I've already talked to the councilor so dont say "tell and adult"

I've met loads of people that are extremely intelligent, got a great degree and a very good job, are not overweight, don't have any health issues, mental or physical, have loads and loads of friends, are very social and good at talking to people, are in a good relationship etc. How are these people not "perfect"? In comparison to people that struggle in school, struggle to even get a job, have weight issues, have numerous mental or physical health problems, are extremely socially awkward and struggle to make friends or even talk to people etc. What more could they want?

My school cut off discord from their chromebook system so I cant communicate with one of my friends outside the school. Its not like I can just whisper to him or text by email, and more so I don't have a phone. Even more luckless, we don't have the same lunch period. And even when we do get the chance for a quick conversation how do I not make it akward, cuz like I try to ask him a question but he doesnt really get the chance to answer, and I dont want all those short encounters to be me just asking the same thing - although its a pretty important question/conversation I want to have with him. Its just either that or when I try to talk with him in general, there's not much we can talk about - which is why it gets akward (small talk sorta makes it worse) Any ideas? How do you talk to a friend in school about personal issues when you're not able to talk a lot?

I am a 22 year old guy. i used to have three Friends but most of us just drifted apart and one died my parent have never been existent my grandmother took care of me and she is not here anymore i have no way of expressing emotions due to my schizophrenia i have so many people who come to me and talk to me about their problems but when i need them they are no there but i still keep their secrets. i often scare people away because of the emotionless and flat way my voice sounds. i am by no means ugly or unattractive i try my best to be kind to people even at 22 the only thing people like to talk about when they first meet me is the way me teeth are. i am left with just a giant hole in my soul that refuses to heal and i have tried so many things and nothing is working i am just so lonely

ok so me (f15) and my friend (m15) have a generally healthy friendship i would say. but sometimes i feel like he gives me mixed signals. when we text, we will be nice to each other and have a normal convo. but when we see each other irl he acts weird. sometimes he won't even talk to me or he'll get shy and quiet and just act weird. a couple days ago, i caught him staring at me from a distance and when i looked up he looked away. but that only happened one time. this is really confusing me as to how he feels about our friendship. we have been friends for 2 years but aren't really as close because we have no classes together and back then we did so we would talk and see each other every day. it's hard but somehow we still manage to keep some sort of relationship between each other in one way or another. at one point we were talking and i said i was glad we met, and he said he was also glad we met. but lately i have been going through a hard time and he knows about it. he tells me not to worry about it and to take as much time as i need. but i really don't know how he feels about me and our friendship. please help? when i would say something nice, for example on holidays i would say i hope he enjoys his holiday, and he'd say he hopes i enjoy mine too. but he only says it if i say it first. also one time he told me that we should talk more

I know the basics but he's the only person who can give access to the internet even if u have the wifi password he can monitor, control, limit speed etc... so how can i hack it my phone is not rooted but i got one rooted and i have a laptop but kali linux is not installed on it so plz help me i need that 420$ lol!
