Question: How do you deal with someone that is constantly negative? Posted: 16 Jan 2019 04:03 PM PST I work with someone who is very negative. She is always looking for the bad. We can be having the perfect day, everything going smoothly, and she will be moping and looking for problems. I try to just ignore it, but being around someone like that is draining all my energy. Unfortunately, I have to put up with them for the time being. |
Question: Te has enamorado mucho una vez? |
Posted: 16 Jan 2019 02:54 PM PST Long story short,I lost my virginity at 15 to an authority figure/family friend. We made a pact to take it to the grave. Now he's like a dad to me. Nothing has happened since then and will never happen again. Is it weird that we put it behind us? |

Question: What should a girl think of his boyfriend does this, and how can she pay everything back? Posted: 16 Jan 2019 01:27 PM PST So I was sick, with a bad tonsilltis that caused me really high fever, shivers and pains everywhere. Flu, handkerchieves and cracked lips that hurt are all I've seen the last days. When I had high fever my boyfriend stood by me, put a wet cloth on my forehead, gave me medicines and held my hand in the night, sleeping on the bed next to me. He woke up in the night to gave me medicines and checked if I was ok. I felt so miserable and like I was going to die, no joke. Now I'm better and he bought me a cream for my sore lip (I cannot even open my mouth to eat cause of the cracked lips and fever) even if I didnt send him to. Why is he so kind and caring to me? He took care of me like my mom would. I don't know what to do for him to pay him for everything. I can think only positive and the best things for him. What should I do? I owe him my life |

Question: What is the point of loving your enemies? Posted: 16 Jan 2019 09:52 AM PST I reject doing that. Anyone that tells me to do that is my enemy. If someone mistreats me, I will mistreat them back, no exceptions. Arctics Ablaze It's makes they know how I feel. They must get what they deserve. I demand peace and freedom. AC I reject God then. |
Question: Is it unreasonable of me to ask my Mom to NOT attend a baby shower of my ex-girlfriend? Posted: 16 Jan 2019 09:43 AM PST I dated a girl a few years back for about 1 year. She treated me horribly, thus I broke up with her. However she still goes to my church (r/nicegirl) and my Mom thinks she is just the sweetest thing and chats her up every time they see each other. She is married now and is about to have a baby. She invited my Mom to her baby shower. I don't mind if she send her a gift but I feel like going to her baby shower is being disloyal to me. |
Question: Why don’t two wrongs make a right? Posted: 16 Jan 2019 07:48 AM PST I strongly disagree with this saying? Why should I do good to those that treat me badly? If someone treats me badly, I will treat them badly. I will only be kind to those that are kind to me. The first wrong is wrong but the second wrong is right. The retaliator is never in the wrong only the person that did the first wrong is. |
Posted: 15 Jan 2019 10:27 PM PST She is a girl a couple years older than me. She befriended me by laughing loudly at my lame joke out of then asked me to repeat it to her personally when she heard it. Then waited after class for me to giggle with her friend and she popped out and said boo got in my face and smiled. She began butting into my conversations to try to talk to me. She will ask questions respond to me have me repeat stuff to her or just laugh at unfunny things I say. When I talk to her and she gets my attention she waits after class to scare me. Her friend doesn't talk to me at all around her and asks me to do stuff like chase her around, tell her stories and jokes. One of time we were joking around she held good eye contact and said my name a lot I felt a vibe from it.Giggles and says my name when I am doing nothing.Smiles at me a lot.Cant say hi first to me when I say hi first she smiles and blushes.Walked by my class to smile and wave at me.Talking to me she gets red and can't look me in the eyes she smiles hiding her face. The one time her friend talked to me and asked me to sit with them and her friend sat next to me she seemed upset when shes happy around me.When they took turns with selfies next to me she asked me to get closer to her than I was with her friend. When she wore something showing boobs her friend came and got me for a pic and she blushed from that. She asks me to sit with her when I talk to her and take a pic with her and get close to her. Only approaches me with her friend. |
Posted: 15 Jan 2019 08:59 PM PST so me and my boyfriend both live with our parents because we are trying to save money for a house and just graduated college a few months ago. I'm also trying to pay off student loans. My house is a lot bigger than his so we mostly hang out at mines plus i love to cook. we are 26. he comes over about 3 days out the week after work and we cook together in the kitchen or we will watch movies after work in the family game room ( he's not allowed in my room). We prefer hanging out in the house as opposed to going out because going out costs money. since we are trying to save we never go out, we just hang out at my parents house. My dad gets off work early so he's always there when we are hanging out. I wonder if it makes him feel awkward or uncomfortable though? He was acting weird last night when we watched a movie upstairs in the game room. After me and my boyfriend finished watching the movie i had to pee so i went to the restroom closest to me the restroom by my room and then me and my boyfriend went downstairs on the opposite stairway and so my dad was like " why yall went down that stairway that was weird" I was like " it was close to the bathroom". I hope he seriously doesnt think we would be disrespectful enough to have sex in someone else's house. We are both extremely respectful. we don't even cuddle or hold hands around my parents. |

Question: Was it my fault this apartment approved of us quickly? Posted: 15 Jan 2019 05:22 PM PST I feel dumb for looking at an apartment because now my mom is acting weird towards me. She basically just told me "oh thats neat". I mean i am 25 years old almost going to be 26. I dont feel like I did anything wrong but its not my fault that the first place we looked at approved of us quickly. I know i just asked this question but i shoukd ferl happy and I clearly dont. |
Posted: 15 Jan 2019 05:00 PM PST A coworker I see only 4-6x out of the year, was at a holiday party where we didn't speak to each other. He arrived first, but I ignored him as I've found something odd since I started working there last year. Towards the end of the night as everyone was getting ready to leave I guess he felt I looked tipsy or drunk and offered to take the train with me. He doesn't live on my line. He later says he'll pay for a cab for me to go home and was very insistent about wanting to use his money to pay. He never asked if I could pay and I was mentally planning to take a cab anyway. As we were walking he started calling me "My dear" which he NEVER does when I do speak with him. Someone else we both know ran into us and paid as it's late. The next day he sends me a message saying, "glad you got home safe'. You played the piano beautifully last night!" I thanked him and responded humbly. 2-3 Weeks later his friend, who I see often, and him stop by. I noticed he decided to stay in the doorway. I then told him "Happy New Year" from where he was and he acted like he did not want to respond back, he turned away, and then moved behind the wall. He seemed in a rush and acted like he didn't want to be around. Later on I saw him walking in the hallway alone and he started looking at my face/ eyes in a serious way as we walked past each other. The person will speak to me in a very polite way in front of other people, but when I'm alone with him he talks to me in a stern/ authoritative way. I should add he is not my supervisor. We just work in different buildings. Another time I saw the person BEFORE the party and he did the same thing alone. He looked me dead in my eyes as we were walking past each other and then said bye. Why give me a compliments and be all polite with me in front of other people like I'm part of the team. I notice every time I distance myself from him (stop smiling and keep conversation short). He does aggressive things near me that I can't call him out on. |
Question: Wouldn't it be pointless to stay together? Posted: 12 Jan 2019 06:43 AM PST He is 35 & blue collar, so he is used to a male dominated environment & not talking about his feelings. He lost his mum when he was 21 & his dad cheated, so he has no happy thoughts about marriage. He doesn't want to live with anyone. He doesn't like one night stands & isn't a player, but needs his own space. So really, we both go on dates but have separate lives. We live just over an hour apart & used to see each other weekends. How can a relationship progress? But he wants me to stay with him & he is very affectionate & loving, but he doesn't really mingle with my friends, although he has met all of them a few times & I have never met his, because he is a loner. I was with him for 1 year, then on & off. He still wants to be with me. He also isn't happy with his work environment & money-wise. He loves his job though. I have known him for years & have been with 2 other guys, as I was ready to move on. He hasn't been with anyone else. Is there any point continuing this? He says I want to see you, but your friends & family probably don't even like me. They don't want me to see him. I don't really care about marriage and kids may not be for me, but I definitely want to live together eventually. |
