Question: Is this good or bad? Posted: 13 Jan 2019 03:37 PM PST Is it good or bad when your friend calls you their best friend and then you stay best friends with them for awhile but then they call you their good friend |
Question: Help, i m extremely upset and are my parents correct? Posted: 13 Jan 2019 03:33 PM PST Sooo today I hung out with a friend. But we got lost from my dad. We were in a store and had no idea he was it with us, so we went out and started looking for him. Both our phones died so we couldn t call. We waited over at his car and were honestly so scared and it didn t come across us to call on someone elses phone which is what my mom is mad at me for. She yelled at my friend and called him a shfgt and all that and told him never to talk to me. She than took my phone. Is she right or wrong? A "shfgt" is a sh/t. I was just worried yahoo wouldn't let me say it and i'd have to type it out again. |
Question: Friend talks about me to his friends all the time? Posted: 13 Jan 2019 03:04 PM PST It turns out my buddy at work tells his friends about me all the time. It came up because his friends and girlfriend have followed me over the past month or so. How should I take that? |
Posted: 13 Jan 2019 02:49 PM PST how exactly am I the rude one when she is the one who is okay with leaving me to pay an extra $180 a month worth of her expenses while she doesnt work and pays rent with money her parents give her? |
Question: Should you respond to all snaps you receive on Snapchat? Posted: 13 Jan 2019 02:15 PM PST I've started to use Snapchat more recently but I'm a little confused about what's "normal" in regards to responding to people. Sometimes I receive snaps that aren't directed at me and seem like they were probably sent to a bunch of that person's friends, but I'm not sure whether it's polite to respond to them or if I don't need to since they were sent to multiple people. Would it be rude if I never responded to those types of snaps? A friend told me that they respond to every snap they receive but I wasn't sure if that's normal or not. |
Question: Is it offensive to tell someone that they don't have a life, and they don't go out? Posted: 13 Jan 2019 02:13 PM PST I'm not the one saying these things, but some of my friends make fun of me and say those things just because I'm more busy academically than socially. |
Question: I need help with this please answer? Posted: 13 Jan 2019 01:12 PM PST I'm a 27 year old female and I have a friend that's a lot older than me and I feel so guilty with being her friend and just talking to her because behind closed doors I have talked about her to their people about the times she would be kinda rude to me but it's because for one I didn't know how to handle it and also I felt like I really couldn't talk to her about it because I thought she would get offended. I would feel guilty after talking about her because I know it was wrong but it was also something I really struggled with. She is not going to know that I have talked about though behind her back so should I feel guilty about being her friend? And i'm Not mean to her face and I sure didn't mean to talk about her behind her back. I feel like i'm Just awful |
Question: Is it really unusual that I feel this way? Posted: 13 Jan 2019 12:50 PM PST A lot of my gal friends work at the XYZ company that is being taken over by the ABC company. They were told they had to upgrade their computer skills to keep their job. They priced this computer training and it was expensive. They asked me if I knew where I could get this computer training cheaper as most of them are on a tight budget. I told them it was a long shot but my ex husband Tim was a computer expert and he might do it for them on credit. They should give him a call. They called him and he told them he would train them FOR FREE. They were VERY HAPPY. He did the training, they kept their jobs at the new company and some of them got raises. Now when I see them, they tell me what a great guy Tim is. They are taking him to lunch as a way of saying thank you and they asked me what would be A GREAT PRESENT they could get him. I gave it some thought and I told them what he would really like is to go on a date with each of them. He really likes to date beautiful women and they all qualify. They were all shocked by what I said. They said are you sure you don't mind us going on a date with your ex. I told them he as MY EX and it was none of my business who he dated. I don't consult him about who I date so why should I care who he dated. Is it so unusual that I feel this way? |
Question: Why doesn't my friend like me anymore? read the details? Posted: 13 Jan 2019 12:34 PM PST I had an online friend who deactivate her account. she recently made a new account and I messaged her. after that she blocked me without telling me why. I'm very upset and I just want to talk to her. I'm already depressed. |
Question: I need help with this please? Posted: 13 Jan 2019 12:14 PM PST What is some advice on being able to handle having friends if you struggle with having a social problem? I'm a 27 year old female and I have struggled with this for years |
Question: Is this a toxic friendship? Posted: 13 Jan 2019 11:55 AM PST Two months ago I was raped. I was scared so I didn't wanna tell many people at all, especially not my parents or teachers. I told one of my friends what happened, and that's all. But my other friend, suspected something was wrong and begged me to tell her. I told her I didn't want to and to please respect my privacy. Since I didn't tell her, she went to my other friend for answers. She didn't tell her I was raped, she only told her it had slime thing to do with the boy. Then, she automatically assumed that I had cheated on my boyfriend. She called me a ******* slut, and fake whore, and told everyone that I had sex with the guy. She was even going to direct message my boyfriend and tell him that I cheated. The next day I told her the truth about what happened, and then suddenly she was there for me and was saying how strong I was and all that. When my other friend confronted her about spreading rumors before even knowing the whole story, she denied ever spreading them and said she was just cjnervwe for me, even though she said such awful things that I'll never forget. Is she toxic?? |
Question: Every once a while I can’t talk? Posted: 13 Jan 2019 11:54 AM PST Every time I miss a few days of school or after a vacation when I go back to school I just feel so disconnected that I can't talk to anyone. My group of friends are all very close and grew up together and they are very loud and fun. I'm like that too but only with other people. With them I feel even tho they are nice to me I feel depressed in school missing my old friends and I just want to finish school without talking to anyone. These schoolfriends of mine are funny and good company but I can't help but feel this way. In the gymclasses which I go to every day I'm bubbly and totally free and all I do is mess around and have fun but in school I can barely speak and I just feel completely drained and sad when all my schoolfriends are just having fun. How can I solve this problem? What I want to do most is isolate myself but I also like my friends I just can't deal with this feeling I get every once awhile. |
Question: Why can’t I get along with other women? Posted: 13 Jan 2019 11:13 AM PST t's so hard for me to make female friends. I'm the coolest woman you would ever meet. I real and I never stab anybody in the back. I don't get why people switch up on me so quick. One minute we are great, the next they blow me off. There have been times girls wouldn't invite me places. They would say their not going somewhere, and end up posting photos with them there. Females choose friendships with other women over me. I don't get it. |
Question: My sister irritates me and then says that I get annoyed easily? Posted: 13 Jan 2019 10:33 AM PST She is very patronising and condescending with me. She talks down on me for example she will say "you are so useless" in different ways. She then tells people "oh Stacy just gets moody and annoyed at anything so easily" I don't know what to say? As I only get annoyed with her. What can I say when she says that? How do I say it's only because you annoy me and I have a right to be annoyed. I don't think I get annoyed easily.. |
Posted: 13 Jan 2019 10:30 AM PST I met this guy on Bumble and we've been talking since January 2. We are planning on meeting in a couple of weeks, he lives 4 hours away. We've talked and FaceTimed every day but Friday he didn't talk to me at all, and yesterday he didn't either, so last night around 10 I sent him a message and asked how he was and he asked how I am and I haven't heard back since. I really like him and I'm curious why he stopped talking to me suddenly. I feel like texting him but I don't want to seem annoying. Should I just wait it out and see if he texts me later (it's 1:30 now) or should I text him? |
Question: Why did she kick me out of her life??? Posted: 13 Jan 2019 10:30 AM PST Hey guys, im a 23 year old dude and i had a work friend for 1 year. Her name was Nicole and she was 34 married with kids. Nicole had a really cool personality, she was really funny and caring. She told other people that im a really nice kid and that im super mature. At times i noticed she would flirt with me. Other coworkers began going to management, saying me and Nicole talk way to much. (Thats a lie) well our managers told us we need to stop talking to eachother or we could be fired. Later more coworkers began going to management to talk negatively about Nicole. Nicole was mad because her friends of 10 years stopped talking to her. ME and Nicole still talked a bit behind everyone's back, i could tell she was frustrated. So one day i gave her a gift card to her favourite coffee shop, she accepted it and said thank you. But eventually i had a meeting with management, because Nicole sent an email saying. " she feels so uncomfortable coming to work with all this drama going on, and how she's frustrated. plus my precense is threatening her at work right now, she also mentioned i bought her a gift card." Soo i was removed from her floor." Why did she stab me in the back like this????? Im shocked and i feel very upset |

Question: Why does he want to be my friend so much? Posted: 13 Jan 2019 03:19 AM PST he did not like me romantically but he wants to be platonic friends with me so much and he keeps emailing me. Why does he want to be my friend so much? I thought men did not want to be just friends with women will choose a best answer |
Question: Is it alright to have a sweet 16 with only family? Is that totally lame? Posted: 13 Jan 2019 12:38 AM PST My birthday is coming up, and I have dreamed of having a big party like off of MTV My Super Sweet 16, but the issue is I don't really have many friends. My younger sister (14) is probably my best friend. But I could easily come up with a list of family and family friends and a few people I'm cool with from school (only like 5), except I don't know how much fun that would be. So would a party of only adults be much fun? Or should I just stick to not celebrating my birthday (again)? |
Question: Classmate stole my hoodie? Posted: 12 Jan 2019 10:16 PM PST Alright, this is not a troll and I am dead serious, my classmate stole my hoodie. Background: it is this really weird kid known for picking abandoned pencils or notebooks, or taking text books from other kids at the bookshelf. (our school made us sign our textbooks, then put it on a shelf dedicated to a grade when it is not used). Incident: So I bought this really nice Supreme Box Logo hoodie I earned with money from mowing my neighbor's lawn and chore money. So, I bought this hoodie a week ago, and yesterday, this kid is eyeing it like the most important thing in the world. I just ignored him and put in in my locker ( our school lockers have no locks so kids can grab things quickly and not waste time turning lock combinations) because it is pretty warm because it is Miami. Later that day, my hoodie is gone. So I've been asking all my teachers and friends if they seen it, and all the replies are no. I think I checked the lost and found for a hundred times now. Then, three days later the kid is wearing it! I knew he stolen it, because he got a reputation for it. I told all my teachers that he stole it, but they said he bought it the same one and I am mistaken. What should I do? |
Question: How do I stop sitting alone at lunch? Posted: 12 Jan 2019 09:18 PM PST I'm a freshman in highschool and I've been sitting alone ever since school started. It feels awful. I dread lunch everyday just because I think that people will think I look sad and pathetic. I don't want to butt in on anyone's friend groups but I also don't want to sit alone. How should I deal with this? |
Posted: 12 Jan 2019 08:28 PM PST I have a friend who is totally obsessed with this girl who blocked him on Facebook, he even asks his other friends & acquaintances their opinions of her, he would tell them that he thinks of her as a nice girl but wishes he could be on better terms with her. He also wishes things would go back the way they once were prior to her giving him the silent treatment, as well as him questioning her about it prior to her blocking him on Facebook. He even claims that she's the good person and he's the bad guy because people seem to be nicer & friendlier towards her than him on Facebook. I have told him he needs to forget about this girl and to move on because she was more of an acquaintance to him than she was as a friend. |

Question: How do I deal with having wealthy friends? Posted: 12 Jan 2019 07:58 PM PST I started a new job and have made friends with a couple from work. They are a lot of fun to be around and our kids get along really well, and they are just all around good people. But they are fairly wealthy and we are lower middle class and our lifestyles are very different... while we love spending time with them I feel very inferior sitting in their gorgeous new home while they discuss their upcoming week long ski trip. When we go to dinner together they choose the nicest restaurants and don't bat an eye at their bill, meanwhile my husband and I have to be very mindful of how much we spend. I can't say that we are quite so much jealous of them as we are embarrassed. They are very down to earth, and we are always happy for them and admire how hard they work and what they do for their family. Seeing their lifestyle make us strive to work harder and better ourselves. I just don't know why I can't help but feel so inferior when I'm around them. |

Question: How to convince my parents to let me hang out with friends without my dad following me? Posted: 12 Jan 2019 06:51 PM PST So every time I want to hang out with a friend, and god forbid a BOY my dad follows me and my friend around. How do I stole them from doing this, as it's embarrassing. -Elle, 13 |
Question: If I'm the older person, hanging out with a younger friend, is it okay to offer to pay? Posted: 12 Jan 2019 06:51 PM PST I'm in my 30s and I have friends who are in early 20's. When I catch up with my friends, I usually offer to pay or try to pay. When it's one on one hangout. Not all the time but I'll insist that I pay for them and we'd split. When they want to treat me back, I'd go for something much cheaper to lessen the burdens. Am I weird? I also have female friends and some of them lets me pay for them and they treat me back too. Is it rude that I insist that I pay? |
Question: I can’t stand living with my boyfriends friend and I don’t know what to do.? Posted: 12 Jan 2019 06:34 PM PST Nov 1st my bf's friend started living with us. He was with his Mom & Daughter but, they moved and the new landlord says he can't stay. He's suppose to be looking for a new place, but, doesn't get many hours (which means he can't help pay rent or for food). He is trying to get ei but has to reapply but he didn't have enough hours when he first tried. I thought he would be here for a couple weeks but, it's been a couple months now. I'm currently in school, on a tight budget and can't help much. So, my bf is basically taking care of all 3 of us. I'm a huge introvert and hate that he's always here (he doesn't have a car and we live outside the city). I'm also have so much extra stress in my life right now (started school in sept, my mom was diagnosed with incurable lung cancer back in oct and my father died in July). It's all too much, I can't handle it and don't know what to do. He also knows how stressed I am, and we have talked about his plans and stuff yet I see no progress. Be help, any advice is appreciated. |

Posted: 12 Jan 2019 09:35 AM PST My boyfriend is young and he works really hard to maintain himself and helping his old parents. He's just 25 but I do think he's already mature and responsible. My best friend is a girl who has never worked in her life and says my boyfriend 'is vain amd thinks a big deal of himself'. When she sees us acting all mushy and into one another she tells me that she doesnt like him because of his personality, considering these episodes: she saw me running into his arms when he comes back from work and hugging him like a teddy bear. He strokes my head and calls me little frog, or when I panicked he was the one to make me reason, he says ofteb words like 'I'm here and I can fix everything, do you trust me?' Or 'your hero has just come back' (he says hero cause I have told him first 'you are my hero etc....'). Once he was doing some repair works in the courtyard and I brought him water and he smiles and said 'she is marriage material' to the others, I blushed my best friend said he was always showing off cause you pamper him too much and this is a huge ego boost. She sees us like this and says he's vain and showing off that he can do everything and you are nothing. I don-t agree with her but maybe I'm into it personally and I dont see his flaws as I love him too much. What do you think? |
Question: How to get over someone ditching you midway on a date? Posted: 12 Jan 2019 08:17 AM PST I was talking to someone for almost 2 weeks and we planned to meet for coffee. There was a miscommunication in text and I ended up at the wrong Starbucks and they ended up waiting on me for 20 mins. I was very apologetic and offered some coffee. They refused but we sat and talked for a bit and all seemed pretty good. We both agreed to go somewhere else. Taking our own cars. On my way there, I get a text from them saying they had to pick up their brother but would like to reschedule. I said it was nice meeting and asked when. And all they said was: "it was nice meeting you too but I'm really sorry about this" I politely asked for some feedback and they said I didn't do anything wrong. I feel like my self esteem got knocked down a few pegs lol |
