We were in the hospital for the same reason which was suicide. To sum it up i think she found out i liked her while we were in the hospital (i think my roommate told her) and after we both got out i found her instagram bc i had someone else's number and she had her instagram, and I messaged happy thanksgiving and ot went on from there and a while after that i asked her out (i think it was a couple of months after that, i know it wasn't that long but i reallly like her sooo) and she told me she just wouldn't be able to do long distance and maybe in the future we could, I understood that completely so we were just friends. My girlfriend came out to her family shortly after we started dating. Her parents, brother and grandparents were all accepting. However, her younger brother (26 years old) was not. Her family really likes me. I'm a pretty likeable and friendly person in general and often am included in their family events. I get along fine with her older brother. But I don't think I've had a full conversation with her younger brother in the six months since we've been dating. I try to talk with him but he'll either give me one word responses back or else ignore me all together. Occasionally I think I'm getting somewhere with him. We were cleaning up after a party and he offered to take a table for me so I didn't have to carry it. He recently had a birthday. I small talked and said it sounded like they all had a nice family dinner. He smiled and said thank you. But then the next time I saw him he completely ignored me.
