I've never seen anything wrong with it but it seems to be turning my girlfriend sideways. We were at a friends party yesterday and a friend that I've known since grade school came up to my girlfriend and I to say hello. Asking why did she kiss me and seem so happy to see me. I told her we were just friends and she was just being polite. Then she got mad and said I was defending her. We argued for a bit longer before she dropped it. Looking back now I'm not sure if there's anything wrong with it. But is it inappropriate or was she making a big deal of it? I am ashamed to say I get triggered around my in-laws. The reasons run from their family has more people in it than mine to it seems like they try and take over our lives to when they get involved something bad happens and I come out on the short end of the stick when I did nothing.
