Question: Why do I want to be friends with someone badly? Posted: 24 Jan 2019 05:54 PM PST Recently we had a new student, I've gotten tired of all the kids at our school cause they all are not the type of people I would hang out with. We got this interesting new girl, but I'm quite shy and couldn't approach her. In a matter of 2 days she became POPUALR and now I'm way to scared to approach her on my own. We've had a couple of conversations that lasted for like 5 mins, but she's already scared me off. Any advice? |
Question: How do I find something i'm good at? Posted: 24 Jan 2019 04:41 PM PST I think this is my biggest problem. I'm in high school now. I have no interests. I don't like much. I don't go outside. I can't talk to people, i'm always anxious. I suck at everything and i honestly don't know what I wanna do after I graduate. Everybody around me is good at SOMETHING. I'm just here for no reason, with no purpose. |

Question: How is it possible he did not know? Posted: 24 Jan 2019 04:19 PM PST I was having trouble in my high school math class. My classmate Jim told me his mom was a engineer and she could help me understand my math problems. He said "come home and let her help you". At his house he introduced me to his mom. OH MY GOD. She was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen in my life. Gorgeous face, figure to die for. She had on a sweater that showed her 36Gs (my guess). She was a great tutor. She really knew her math. However it took ALL of my will power to keep my mind on math and not to get a b0ner when she was tutoring me. That would have been a DISASTER and the most embarrassing thing EVER to happen to me and the end of my friendship with Jim. Lucky for me it did not happen. After tutoring me she gave me and Jim a piece of homemade pie and ice cream. Was she ever a nice person. If there ever was a trophy wife, she would be it. I told Jim he was very lucky to have such a beautiful mom. He said I never noticed his mom was beautiful. How do you think it is possible that a teenage guy like me would not know his mom is so beautiful? |
Posted: 24 Jan 2019 04:13 PM PST So a woman I used to work with got married earlier today and she asked me to help out at her wedding months ago, I agreed a time with her and she told me to come to the venue at 11 am to start helping out, she didn't get married until 1pm and she mainly wanted me to waitress. When me and my friend turned up at 11 a woman came storming up to us shouting in our faces "there you are! You are late! We've done everything!!!" I explained that we were told to come at this time and she continued to scowl at us both, I then said do you want us to go then if you're gonna speak to us like that and everything's done? She then got even funnier and said NO again and put us in separate rooms so we couldn't talk to each other, she was really nasty to us both the rest of the day. I told her I'm going to tell the bride about this in a few weeks time! What was her problem?! |
Question: Do you ever get lonely? Posted: 24 Jan 2019 04:00 PM PST Most people in my family say they dont get lonely, they keep busy with things to do around the house. But I could be doing many hobbies and still feel lonely with not having anyone around. And is this normal for a man in his 30s |
Posted: 24 Jan 2019 03:43 PM PST My friend threatened to beat up the guy I like, wasn't doing anything wrong, I told her behavior was unacceptable she told me she's all talk but no action, she couldn't hurt a fly, I feel I can't trust her. |

Question: Should I take some posts down? Posted: 24 Jan 2019 02:18 PM PST Back to the friends in last post. They involved some people and told me how I was lying, so i posted the screenshots and told the story. Today, the girl started crying and got a teacher involved and doesn't want to take her posts down but wants me to. Help, I am conflicted. |
Question: So do I have a chance or not? Posted: 24 Jan 2019 02:14 PM PST I have written letters to her justifying what I want and how much our friendship means. But want to wait till after college and take that challenge known as the second step of friendship. Well all jokes aside, these past 2-3 years we traveled hungout and I've made her food. We don't talk everyday since I feel that can really become annoying and I could lose my welcome. I was told women don't change their minds once they say no. But, from what I've noticed the nos and turning into maybes and yes. Can someone help me understand? Do I have a chance? I understand time will tell. But, I'm really interested from another persons point of view if I have a chance. Also if there is any extra advice I can be given to make it a bit easier on myself let me know. Thanks |
Posted: 24 Jan 2019 02:12 PM PST If a facebook friend gets another friend request from you, have you been hacked? This seems to happen to people often. |
Question: Telling a friend you look up to him? Posted: 24 Jan 2019 01:52 PM PST So I'm apart of a bible study weekly and I'm good friends with one of the guys in the group. I'm a 22 year old guy and he's 25. He's married to a wonderful woman, he's outgoing, leads our group, volunteers at church lives in a nice apartment, and seems to be happy with his life in general. I'm nearly fully recovered from a major bout of depression and anxiety this past fall, and on top of that I've finally come to accept that my older brother was (mildly to moderately) emotionally abusive to me growing up. My friend knows about all of this and has been super supportive throughout. He's almost become like the big brother I've never had. I really value almost everything he has to say, but I don't want to make things weird. Would it be weird if I told him that I look up to him and view him like an older brother? |
Posted: 24 Jan 2019 12:41 PM PST I'm 18, female and sick of life. I go to Military preparation college and have like 0 friends there, no one seems to actually want to be friends with me, I do talk to people there but no one wants to have a relationship or friendship, like I'm sick of it, I have no one outside either, I don't know wether it's bevsude they don't like the way I look or they just don't like me as a person for some reason, even though they've never had a reason not to. I'm getting sl*gged off behind my back too by people I don't even talk to there. Everytime we do PFA, I'm called out on apparently not doing push ups properly or sit ups when quite clearly I am, the Staff seem to accuse me of never doing any of it right, not doing it properly either. |
Question: How to turn school friends into real friends? Posted: 24 Jan 2019 12:22 PM PST I have this group of friends in school that I love hangin out with during lunch, study hall, and classes. They always talk about parties and stuff when I'm chillin with them in school and would want to go to one with them, yet I don't know if it's weird to ask them if I should or if I should try and talk more to get them to invite me, thoughts? |
Question: How to tell my roommate that I don’t want to share a bathroom with her? Posted: 24 Jan 2019 11:30 AM PST My friend and I are roommates, and we live in a dormitory on campus. There are two dorms in our apartment and two people share each room, and we have two bathrooms. I don't mind living with my friend in the same apartment, but I do not want to share a dorm or a bathroom with her because, I don't agree with her bathroom habits. She doesn't wrap her pads when she's on her period, she uses wipes when she poops or when she on her period and she doesn't flush them down the toilet, or properly dispose of them (she leave them in the trash can unwrapped), she doesn't wash her hands immediately after using the bathroom (she'll go into our room first (for whatever reason) then she'll wash her hands, she never cleans the shower or toilet, and she blows her nose in the shower. She already knows that I want a single room next year, but how do I tell her that I don't want to share a bathroom with her? Should I tell her to NOT choose a room near mine? For example, our apartment next year has 4 rooms, A, B, C, and D. So I'm in room A, and she chooses room B, then we'll share bathrooms. But if she chooses room C or D, then we won't share bathrooms. |
Question: Petty problem. Any opinions? Posted: 24 Jan 2019 11:01 AM PST I am a part of a friend group where almost all the girls like the same guy (part of that friend group). I don't like the guy but as it just so happens, the guy likes me. He's making advances. How do I handle this without affecting my friendship with the other girls and without making things awkward in the friend group? |

Posted: 24 Jan 2019 09:30 AM PST You meet someone in the 90s and you hang around that person and that person is nice and very cool to be around and such. Some thing happens and you don't see them again and finally meet up with them again in 2019, they still remember you but have a blah attitude and is very controversial, and argumentative. They seem to bully people and don't seem to be anything like they used to ever be. You look at them confused like 'what has happened to You?' Their use of words are even different as their language is very vulgar and they seem disgruntled and very bitter. So what happened here? |

Question: I lost my one and only friend.? Posted: 24 Jan 2019 08:17 AM PST My best friend and her ex broke up. I'm friends with both of them so, the ex messaged me telling me what happened. Then, he said that he think I'm really pretty and cool. At this point I'm super confused. I say you're not bad yourself. I didn't mean that I thought he was cute. I am super worried about letting people down and about what they think about me. It turns out that my best friend was the one who was messaging me through his account. I tried to explain that I really don't like him at all but she won't respond to me |
Question: Should I do anything about the rumors that my family are spreading about me? Posted: 24 Jan 2019 07:28 AM PST My family has always been vindictive and abusive. I saved up forever and moved several hours away so that my wife/kids didn't have to live in their shadow and deal with everything they do. Since I left, rumors have been spreading like wildfire in that small town. They're saying I beat my wife, I'm on meth, and I drive by an aunt's house every day screaming and throwing rocks at her dogs- mind you, the Aunt lives several hours away from me. I'm rumored to have cussed out a cashier at a fast food restaurant (the cashier is actually one of my friends, why would I cuss her? I haven't even seen her). It's all really dumb stuff. Everyone there seems to believe it except for a few close friends. Should I do anything about this? Or should I just let it all go? |

Posted: 24 Jan 2019 12:57 AM PST So my "best friend" talked **** about my dad and I left because she is a complete moron, then proceeded to talk **** about me and my family, and is now bringing other people into this, I need a good name for her, I mean I already have one for my other "best friend" and that's pedophile. Some details about her is that she is anorexic because she skipped one meal and has bipolar thanks to Webmd and can't form her own opinions and she is asexual because a popular dude turned her down. The more vulgar the better, thanks |

Question: How do I get him to forget about having sex with me? Posted: 23 Jan 2019 09:24 PM PST I met a guy where he works we had been talking when I would see him at the store working. After a couple of years he asked me for my number. A couples of months later he called asking me to meet him at the Opera. But I didn't go instead I asked him if he wanted to be friends with benefits. He said yes and that he had always been into me. We've been talking on Facebook for awhile now and he's still trying to have sex with me. But now I've changed my mind and I just want to be friends with him. How can I reverse this? I was going to tell him that I just want to be friends and hangout. |

Question: Friend being a stalker? Posted: 23 Jan 2019 08:19 PM PST So me and my best friend, we'll call her Lisa, have this Youtube channel. We make Minecraft videos and comic dubs. We only have like 75 subscribers, so we're not very popular. We made this friend, we'll call her Elizabeth, who apparently is a big fan of the channel. But we don't really treat her like a fan, we treat her like a good friend, because she is one. We all talk a lot on a chatting app called Discord, it's kinda like Skype. So Elizabeth accidentally sent a screenshot of her desktop. It looked exactly like Lisa's desktop. Elizabeth admitted that whenever Lisa sends screenshots, or does screen shares, she copies what her pinned apps look like. So her computer looks exactly the same. Her brother, we'll call him Toby, he was saying that her room was decorated with things from our channel. Like quotes we've said, and a picture of my Minecraft skin. So me and Lisa are a little creeped and weirded out. We're not sure what to do about it. |
Question: Help dealing with annoying/weird roommate? Posted: 23 Jan 2019 07:59 PM PST So, some dude I met a few years ago in grad school offered me his spare bedroom at a very low monthly rent. I accepted his offer, hoping to save enough money and find a place of my own in a few months. However, after moving in with him, his behavior has become more erratic. His energy is to the point where it is overwhelming and unrelenting! He does not stop talking, his topics of conversation are very weird, he plays loud computer games, nobody understands his sense of humor, and he constantly interrupts others to the point where nobody can get a word in. Furthermore, his negative and obnoxious behavior has a very devisive effect on others, which has put me in very awkward and uncomfortable situations. For example, when I took him out to a bar one time, his loud tone and vulgur/weird comments nearly got him assualted by another patron. On another occasion, I was chatting with a girl I had just met while he awkwardly hovered over us with a creepy stare, making the conversation extremely uncomfortable for the two of us. Now as soon as I get home from work, I go straight to my room and ignore him. Needless to say, this has made him upset and is causing a lot of stress. I know if I continue to ignore him, sooner or later, he is going to ask me to leave. I still don t have enough money saved up to find a place of my own. So my question is: how do I deal with him and develop a cordial relationship so that I can continue living there for at least another 4-5 months? |
Question: Are my bff and I afraid of the truth should we be together? Or what are we? Any advice? Posted: 23 Jan 2019 07:39 PM PST My best friend and I are both in our early 20s. We've always been straight up until just a few months ago, we realized we fell in love with eachother. My best friend hasn't had many boyfriends as I've had a few in the past. They were never the right ones so I took some time to myself for a while to focus on myself and I realized that I was starting to fall for my best friend. We first tried to kiss and then it lead into making out. We both enjoyed it so it went to more and we have had sexual experiences together and do enjoy it. We are confused because one day we want to have kids but want to do it with a father in the picture rather than a sperm donor. We have talked and I think it's more of the fear of what we are because we've never been gay and have never fallen for another girl and as well as the fear of are we really gay or did we just fall for eachother? Because we still want to be with a guy and a have kids but we also aren't sure are we gonna be happy if we stay best friends but I have a boyfriend and so does she. We have cried over it before but is it we love eachother so much or should we really be together? What do we do if the one thing stopping us is not knowing what it means and what we are. |
Question: How can I make new friends in school? Posted: 23 Jan 2019 07:38 PM PST I want to find friends that are into the same things as me because though my friends are nice we don't have much in common. I'm starting the 2nd semester in a week and I think this will be a great time to make new friends. Any tips on how to start conversations with new people? |
Question: Would it be wrong of me to ask my roommate to wash her hands after using the bathroom? Posted: 23 Jan 2019 07:34 PM PST My roommate (friend) and I live in a college dorm, and the way our dorm is set up is a little weird. We share a room, and if you open the door (to our room) directly in front are two sinks and a large mirror and directly to the right is a bathroom (only a toilet and shower). So, whenever my roommate uses the bathroom, she doesn't wash her hands right away. For example (sorry to be blunt), when she's taking a **** and changing her clothes, she'll come back in the room and put her clothes away, THEN she'll go back and wash her hands. (If you're asking how do I know she was taking a dump... I have a nose). Anyway, I find that really gross, so I've been spraying our door knobs with Lysol, but she doesn't like that. So, how do I talk to her about this? |
Question: How do you make it up to someone after you've hit them with a door? Posted: 23 Jan 2019 06:58 PM PST So, I was at school and I had just gone down this back staircase. The door into the hallway only has a small, rectangle window, so you can't really see anybody on the other side of it. I was in a hurry and I pushed the door open and I hit the person that was on the other side of the door. And guess who it was? The girl I have a crush on! Yeah! Go me!! It couldn't have been some jerk, it couldn't have been someone I didn't know, it had to be her. That's like a 1 in 2,000 chance so that's my luck for you. I felt my face burn up from my cheeks to my forehead until it was on fire. Then I frantically apologized and they just laughed and held the door open for me to walk through. I know she's not angry, because she came and sat with me after school (though she kept bringing up the headache she had, and I continued to frantically apologize). I was so freaking embarrassed and I feel so bad. What can I do to make it up to her? |
Question: Girlfriend communicating with male friend? Posted: 23 Jan 2019 06:48 PM PST Situation, my gfs brother passed away a couple years ago. After he passed, her family became friends with his friends. About 7 or 8 months ago, one of his friends came up to visit the family. While everyone was together, the friend asked my gf out in front of everyone. She didn't do anything then cuz surely she was just surprised but later through snapchat she told him no. My issue is, every now and then I'll see that she has a snapchat from this friend, so they still communicate. I keep going back and forth on whether i should have issue with them communicating but i just do. Thank you for any advice! |
