Posted: 01 May 2018 07:49 PM PDT Due to how supportive and loving he has been in the beginning of our relationship I gave him some room to have issues and try and work them out. It became clear that he wasn't really dealing with them and was being very on and off towards me. Some days being super nice and other days being a total grouch to the point of being blatantly mean. This has gone on since I left for a trip. While I was away on my trip he decided to go out the first night to a club by himself he blacked out. He claims he was drugged in the club and found out that he had taken an Uber from a hotel far away around 5 in the morning. He told me a couple days after it happened that it all went down and he was devastated. There is a part of me that wonders if he just cheated and regrets it. I encouraged him to seek therapy to talk things out or at least get them out of his head and into the open. He continued claiming he was going to schedule an appointment until finally In was almost 3 weeks later and nothing had been done. He was still on this pendulum of being manic to super depressed on a day by day basis. . I have been told that he may just need to mature and sometimes that can't be done when someone is taking care of you. I don't really think I'd want to get back together if we broke up. Can anyone offer any wisdom or advice on how to handle this situation. I'm at the end of my rope and am worried I will make a snap judgement and regret it later. Thanks!! |

G is this super sweet, beautiful, kind, talented, and all together perfect girl. I'm definitely feeling a bit insecure and jealous about it... every time i go around her i basically retreat into myself. Yesterday i went with N to a friends house because she needed help with math homework and her parents didn't want her one-on-one with a boy. So they asked if i would go. Anyway, while we were there N gave me his phone because i was bored and i was looking at his photos and i came across a collage of N and G. Lots of coupley photos and pictures of her. I then turned off his phone and gave it back to him. So. I don't know what to do. I don't think he kept it for a reason. I think he just forgot about it. I talk the way I always have, actually I think I've been even nicer because I'm trying not to upset her but I don't know what to do. I try to watch what I say and now she comes up to me asking what she did wrong to have me talk to her that way I just avoid her and go to my room or am gone most of the time. I'm not trying to be mean but she says everything I say is mean to her. I don't talk much to her now because of that. Most of my answers are short and broad because I don't want to upset her. When I give my actual opinion instead of something she would like to hear, she gets very upset. Some times she starts to have a meltdown because My father died and I try to be understanding and give her space because that's what she said she wanted but if she sees me she starts to say that she blame herself for everything. This is getting hard, her emotions are everywhere and mine are starting to go everywhere because of her influence. I don't know what to do. I don't think I'm being mean. I look back at the conversations we had and it doesn't seem mean to me but it does to her. Of course we are different people and we interpret things differently but how do I cope with this? She's sad everyday. I have never seen her cry so much in all my years of knowing her. This relationship is draining her so much but she doesn't realize it because she's madly in love with him and she cares about him a lot. He doesn't believe they should be together because he's a "burden". He constantly tries to leave her and it breaks her heart every time and then he comes back and apologizes. Then it repeats. Today, he called her a liar for telling him that she really does love him. Then he broke up with her. They were suppose to go to prom together. Then, he called her and apologized. Now they're technically back together. They're going to prom again. I understand that all of this is his insecurities and depression talking and it's getting in the way of how he really feels but this is getting toxic isn't it? Maybe I just don't understand it well. I have no idea what to tell her now other than, "he's going to come back," because he always does. Ive told her to continue to be there for him because maybe showing him that she's not giving up would give him motivation to try in their relationship but it hasn't been working so far. I'm just really tired of her being hurt everyday it's making it hard to feel for him. I just don't know. What's the best advice I can give her to get her through this? I didn't find this out until about a month ago. So anyway moving on, so after 2 months of being broken up, she ended up getting with somebody else. And I've been having a hard time finding dates. I went on a couple of dates, but the girls just wanted to be friends, so I'm like well this sucks. And I don't know why I've been having a hard time finding somebody, I mean I'm not even that bad looking, and I'm super nice to people. So while being broken up for 6 months, my ex ended up breaking up with her then boyfriend of 3 months a week ago. She started messaging me crying, saying that she made a mistake, I want you back, the entire time I was with Cody, which was the guys name, all she could think about is me. She really meant it, I could see it in her eyes when I saw her in person recently. She asked to hangout and I was like sure, why not? He has been pursuing me (passively) since last August, and I finally gave him a chance this Feb. to go out, the first meet up showed how into himself he was, yet I gave him another chance (hoping he'd change, typical I know), after I ignored him for several weeks/months and he continuously called/texted me I agreed to go on a date with him once again (last chance)... So we went out, and he showed improvement (brought a false version of himself). After we meet up again Sunday night, and it was a COMPLETE 180, we went to his home (nothing sexual) to watch a sports game, and he literally played his video games the entire time, and after he was done, we chatted more and he kept wanting to see my phone and said " I am your leader" , kept talking about how much money he has+his car ( I come from money he doesn't, so I think he's trying to compensate), and how I should feel lucky to be there with him since so many people want my spot (Told him, they can have it)... Now I believe in submission, but I'm not dumb, and he knows that. I think I am going to COMPLETELY cut him off and leave the church. Advice? |

Posted: 01 May 2018 03:45 PM PDT we were in a relationship for less than a week, she actually thought i liked her and i kinda thought i did, i was able to break up with her after the 2nd try, she says she loves me and sends hearts and stuff and it makes me more and more uncomfortable. She has a lot of mental/emotions problems like anxiety and depression, i wasnt happy in the relationship, it didnt feel like it was working. She apparently has a huge crush on me and i dont for her, I dont feel attracted to either gender romantically or sexually but at the same time im thinking I'm gay. I feel forced into a relationship because it seems like she tries to guilt trip me into it, but i dont even want a relationship, the more and more im with her the more and more i miss my ex which me and him broke up two or so weeks before. i dont feel ready but its like she wont take no for an answer or i have to fight her on it. I don't mind being just friends, but only just friends. Any help? |

In college, they want to date the frat bro party dude who has no ambitions other than getting drunk every night of the week, etc. And then around 25, they start to actually like men who are intelligent, good looking, caring, have good jobs, and good morals and ambition. |
