Question: I need to tell my boss something but I have severe anxiety. Please help!!!!? Posted: 25 May 2018 07:47 AM PDT Can someone please help me??? In a week I have to tell my boss that I'm coming back to work after time off ( I work at a daycare camp) he said it was fine if I take the time off and to let him know before I come back but I feel like I need to explain why I was gone (it was for some complications and surgery for a medical condition I have) and I know I'm not legally required to give away health information but I have this urge to tell him what happened. I just don't know if it's considered "too personal" to explain to him the procedures I had done and why i was away. Basically, I would like to tell my boss but it's just so awkward to say "I had some life-threatening emergencies and spent weeks in the hospital, now I'm good to go back to work". If you were my boss would you think of me as a complainer or that I was sharing too much information? And could someone please tell me what I could say???? It would help a bunch!!! Thanks |

Question: How to politely tell your supervisor that you want to "divorce" him? Posted: 25 May 2018 05:44 AM PDT Our research interests do not align as I originally thought, and over the past 6 months, I've received very little input from him (mainly only orthography, not content-related). There is also the problem of personality mismatch. Anyway, I've applied to another university, been accepted with stipend, and will be working with a professor who is a much better fit. My original university doesn't see any problem in my leaving, as I have no working contract with them, and the counselor even indicated that I needn't tell my professor, although it would be kind of me to inform him by email. I haven't said anything to my professor yet (because I waited until I'm officially accepted by the second university). Now I feel it's time to tell him. Normally I'd come to see someone in person to break such news, however displeased they might be, but my professor is "special". Hence I'm thinking of sending this email: "Dear Professor X, After a long and thoughtful consideration, I must regretfully inform you that I have an offer from a lab that is a better fit for my PhD project, particularly as I do not have any stipend at [original university]. I thank you for our past meetings and wish you the best." I'd like to keep it neutral and short. Do you have suggestions to improve the email? Thanks! |
Question: Why do some guys play good women? Posted: 24 May 2018 11:15 PM PDT I won't lie, but I'm really gorgeous and down to earth, humble and have my life together. I gave a guy a chance, a guy who liked way too bad for me but looks are just looks right? I mean, I enjoyed my conversation with him and he never got sexual. He never gave me his number, but he never ghosted me through other msger. I liked him a lot! Then, he stood me up. He asked me if I was mad at him. I couldn't understand why he would ask me that...I played it off cool. I didn't understand how for weeks we had been good and then out of the blue, he throws me away. |
Question: Why did he toy with me? Posted: 24 May 2018 11:07 PM PDT Hi y'all, I talked to this gorgeous guy who wrote me everyday and never ghosted me. He sent me a lot of snaps. We didn't flirt much but I gave him a chance to take me out, he begged me even when I declined the first time. . However, he stood me up and would send me photos of what he was doing instead. I didn't understand why he did it. Did he want me to chase him? because I blocked him instead. I think it upset him and I'm confused as to why he would've done it then...was he trying to regain control because I declined the date the first time around and he wanted to see me get mad? I mean he did ask me if I was... |
Question: Is it okay a random lady to yell at me? Posted: 24 May 2018 09:28 PM PDT So i went to this senior graduation ceremony and i was sitting behind this lady. Ill admit I was talking loudly and I asked a bunch of questions to the person next to me. The lady had enough and had practically yelled at me to stop talking since she can't hear anything. I shut up after that and went on my phone feeling humiliated...I was so embarrassed that i couldnt even talk for the rest of the ceremony. Was it my fault or should have the lady been more nicer about it? |
Question: I blocked a psychics number? Posted: 24 May 2018 07:26 PM PDT I scheduled an appointment for a phone call just for fun with a friend, but she ended up not calling me back for a reason, and took so long to answer back for texts. Do you think its rude? I just didn't want someone to take my money if they weren't even going to call at a right time, I waited 50 minutes! |
Question: Was I wrong to attack him!? Posted: 24 May 2018 05:20 PM PDT I unfollowed him from Instagram and he did the same but didn't block me on snapchat. He always uses it and hasn't since I called his style of clothing disappointing and his job (junk removal) pathetic. If he blocked me from his stories, why wouldn't he just block me all together??? All this happened because I was upset he flaked on two dates with no apologies. I wasn't here for the games he was playing. He has always texted me throughout the day. And first thing in the morning. So I never understood why the sudden games. |
Question: I'm 19 and i've never had a boyfriend or had friends? Posted: 24 May 2018 05:03 PM PDT I'm 19 and i've never had a boyfriend, i'm still a virgin, and i don't have any friends. The last time that i had friends is when i was 10 years old. Why? Is it because of my personallity? |
Question: How should I feel about what my mom did? Posted: 24 May 2018 10:37 AM PDT My mom works in sales. She has been trying to get to talk to the owner of a company Mr. X for over a year. She could never get past his secretary to get an appointment to talk to him. She heard that Mr. X was going to be at a charity event. She knew the organizer of the event so she paid her to give mom an invitation to the event. However mom had a problem, she needed a male escort to go to the event that evening with her. Since she is single that was a problem for her. Mom took a bold step and asked my former husband to go with her. He told her he would be happy to help her and he went to the event with her. Mom met Mr. X and got a big order. That was great for her as these are tough economic times for all of us. I did not know about any of this until someone at the event asked my who that hot and sexy guy was with my mom at the event. I did not even know she went to the event so I called her. She told me the whole story. I don't know if I should be mad at mom for not telling me what she did or happy with her for trying not to involve my ex husband in my life. I am confused. Someone please give me some advice on how I should feel about this. THANKS |
