Question: How to get over losing a best friend? Posted: 16 May 2018 05:12 PM PDT I had this best friend and we used to be so close. I would always laugh the most with him, tell him everything, but then everything changed. We didn't have any classes together, he got new friends, and he especially became popular. I try talking to him but he just seems annoyed and mad all the time, trying to end the convo, yet he isn't like that with others. He only talks or messages me when he needs help with homework or some other stuff. I hate the fact that we're getting so distant because he meant so much to me, as a friend. I don't know if I'll ever meet anyone that will make me laugh as much or have as much inside jokes. I can't accept it. |

Question: What does this mean? Posted: 16 May 2018 02:29 PM PDT Last February I visited my two friends who are girls on campus and their college I also have a crush on one of them I had not seen them in months at that time and when we were there the girl I had a crush on asked me a question and I answered and the other girl said "see I told you he'd say that!" To me it sounded like they talked about me before so I was curious about that about what they talked about. And today i called the girl I don't have a crush on after not talking to her for 3 months and she brought up hanging out and she said her and the other girl I have a crush on were talking about hanging out with me this summer |
Posted: 16 May 2018 02:28 PM PDT I'm a very playful person, but I have a friend who would get annoyed by me and basically say all this stuff to my face in front of my friends just to embarrass me. I confronted her and we let it go and she said she wouldn't do that again. Today she called me out again just because I was just explaining my personal opinion. She literally only does it to me only but talks so much about everyone else. I don't know why I bother her so much when I tried to be the bigger person and distance myself from her. Is she jealous or does she just not like me? We have good moments but this is the only issue we've been having. |

Question: I hit this girl in the mouth with a rock? Posted: 16 May 2018 01:31 PM PDT It was literally like 7 years ago and I still feel bad about it to this day. Although it was an accident, somewhere in my mind I wish it never happened and it's literally the worst thing I have ever done to a person. Yes accidents happen but it makes me sad :( A friend and I were skipping rocks because they made these cool sparks. Then she sits down in the middle of where we are skipping rocks and it slams right into her face as soon as i threw it. Not knowing 1. She was going to sit down and 2. not knowing she was even there (pretty dark out). I want to take it back, I hate to know she remembers it and hates me for it although she moved so long ago. :( just a vent |
Question: Friendship advice please!? Posted: 16 May 2018 01:16 PM PDT Okay so me and my best friend are in a group of 5 (including us) and we hang out at break and lunch. Recently, these other girls have come and sit with us aswell, squeezing in between us and making gobby comments and I wish they would just go away. But there's a problem, my best friends is friends with them so I don't want to make her have to choose but then I really hate lunch and break now because I have to put up with them!! I have no idea what to do because I don't wanna be rude but I really don't like them and the only thing they have in common is my best friend so it feels as if they are trying to grab her from under my nose (okay I know how childish that sounds) but anyway, please, if you have a solution feel free to leave a comment. Would be greatly appreciated as this is affecting me more than I would like!! |
Question: Help. My best friend is mad at me? Posted: 16 May 2018 12:56 PM PDT So I have a weird sense of humor. I like to poke fun at people, but I NEVER mean it. Yesterday, I asked my best friend (I'll call her L) what her test score was for our math test. L said that she didn't want to tell me. I jokingly said, "did you get a negative 1?" L got mad at me, and so did her friend, and then I got upset because they were actually being mean. So I sighed and went to the front of the room, to my other friend. I started saying like, "oh god, she takes things a bit too seriously," and somehow L overheard. L didn't talk to me for the whole day, and she gave me the silent treatment (btw, whenever she does that, its terrible. she turns everyone against you). When I came home, I was upset, and I messaged her like 10 times saying, "I'm sorry," and she read them but didn't respond. Today, we were at band practice, and I started to cry because my stomach was hurting super bad. L came over and was like, "Are you really crying because your stomach hurts, or something else?" and that made me more upset. Then, I saw that L's other friend was gossiping about me to a lot of people. I also saw that L and her friend were laughing at me because my face was red from crying. When school was out, my other friends are saying this fiasco isn't my fault, but I feel like it is because I'm too insensitive. I feel terrible, please help me on how we can be friends again. Thanks a lot! |
Question: How would you go upon this situation? Posted: 16 May 2018 12:43 PM PDT ok so There's a kid i used to be good friends with and now he is talking S&!T about me, making fun of me, telling people my problems and blackmailing me asking me "Where's my food or give me homework answers." He cares about himself and is selfish. should i confront him on it or jaw him and ask questions later? |
Question: How can someone be so flaky? Posted: 16 May 2018 12:40 PM PDT I made just Facebook friend, from another state, because we belong to a common group on the website. He was chatting with me for half an hour, then without any warning or social grace stopped. He's still online, and even likes/comments on my posts. How can a GROWN MAN (50s!!) be so... flaky and inconsiderate? He couldn't even say "BYE". He doesn't hate me, since he still comments on my posts. ... Why are people so stupid? SERIOUSLY! LOL |

Question: A word for someone like this? Posted: 16 May 2018 09:37 AM PDT A person I know is always posting about good deeds she does over social media. She masks it in different ways though For example she posted that she was at rhe store the other day and these 2 women (friends) were talking amongst themselves about their pudge. My friend stepped in and complimented them for their beautiful smile and hair, etc.. and they women glowed from her compliments. That's fine, but why post it on social media? ? Also she posted about how much she appreciates her close circle of friends. Explaining by saying her friend is battling an illness and she went out of her way to help her, and so she is inspired by her strength. But really it was more about her and what a compassionate caring person she is. Doesn't acting humble kind of contractict humility |
Question: Was the right thing to do was for me to stay out of this discussion? Posted: 16 May 2018 09:29 AM PDT I have a good friend Wanda who is a single mom who has a 15 year old daughter Jo. She told me Jo was failing math in school and needed a tutor and that she could not afford a tutor. She asked if I would tutor Jo and she would pay me when she got some money. I told her I would tutor Jo for free and I did. The tutoring must have helped because Jo's grade went from an F to a B+. Wanda and Jo were both happy with the results of the tutoring and wanted to take me to dinner to just to say thanks. At the dinner Wanda excused herself to take a cell phone call. When her mom was gone Jo asked me it I thought she was old enough to be allowed to date. I told her that was between her and her mom and I did not have an opinion on that. She then asked me what age I started dating and I told her 15 or 16 years old. Jo asked if I would talk to her mom about her dating. She said her mom greatly respected my opinion and she would listen to me. I don't think I should get into this discussion with Wanda about Jo dating do you? Moms and teen age girls, please let me know what the right thing to do in this situation is. |
Question: How to make my future roommates like me again? Posted: 16 May 2018 08:27 AM PDT I'm livin with 3 other girls next year in college. The three of them already know each other and two of them are like best friends and the other is really close to them as well. We decided to get to know each other after finding out we were all living together. They invited me to go to parties with them and stuff and everything was going great. Except I had a bad night a few weekends ago where I drank way too much and was super sloppy, loud, and I completely embarrassed myself with this guy. I apologized to them the next day and they were prettt nice about things. I saw on Snapchat that they would go out without me but hen like 2 weeks later they invited me out again but not a lot was going on and they ended up not going out. After this I saw they would still go out without me. I understand that they don't know me that well and they're all good friends but I feel kind of left out and worry it's bc of the night I was really slopppy. But keep in mind they drink a lot too and I'm sure have done embarrassing things. I just worry they don't want to be friends with me anymore. Ik there's nothing I can do about it now bc it's summer and I'll just have to wait until school starts. Do you have any advice on how I can bond with them next semester. I really want us all to be friends and be able to go out together to parties and eat together and stuff like that |
Question: Should I call and check on her? Posted: 16 May 2018 07:02 AM PDT I haven't talked to this girl for a few months. She gives me the vibe of a fake friend because I'm always texting her first and making plans first and she never does anything. Well I avoided communication for months just to test it out if she'd call me and she didn't, it's been 3 months and no call or text. We've been friends all through high school and now we in college and I have visited her campus to hang out but should I call her and just say i just wanted to check on you how are you doing and ask her questions about what she's been up to. I don't plan on saying let's hang out since she hasn't texted me in 3 months I just wanna see how's she's honestly doing. |
Question: Why would he text me again? Posted: 16 May 2018 04:33 AM PDT A guy friend did not reply to my text message for over 1 month, and then today he is texting me how have I been and what's new in my life. Should I ignore his message? |
Posted: 16 May 2018 04:28 AM PDT Idk where to go from where I am. I've been rejected 4 times in a row I actually almost got somewhere with one girl but she wanted someone else and pushed me away. I just found out that people think I'm weird and so they don't include me in any conversations so I'm kinda just alone all the time because there is no one to talk to I'm in high school and I'm a sophomore about to be a junior and I still sit alone at lunch because I don't have any friends really. When I talk no one seems to listen it hurts sometimes especially because then small groups of people around me will walk away and talk but they look right at me when talking, I think they are talking about me. Yeah life sucks. I'm tired of being so alone. I've had plenty of time to look at myself at this point and idk why people don't seem to like me very much. |
Question: How to tell my bffs i have a eating disorder? Posted: 16 May 2018 04:02 AM PDT i had a eating disoder my hole life kind of my family knows it stared when i was 10 but my two bffs didnt know i eat to much now my mother is worrid and wants to me to tell myfrineds because after my bf dide when i was 10 i stared to eat i have no idea how to tell my bffs that |
Posted: 16 May 2018 03:13 AM PDT Sometimes with serious thing, i have people sending me voice notes. So i guess if is something important, you should: either call or maybe send a text, so you find a written trace. I hate people sending me voice notes, be cause i don't have my earphones connected all the time, sometimes i'm in public, or there's kind of noise around, so i consider the person sendig a voicenote that doesn't care abouot wat are you doing, they alrady send the message, and doesn't really care if you can listen or not, so basically, you have something important to tell me and its my problem if i can hear it or not! Even with people looking for a job!! should be my problem? |
Question: How to become friends with people in a group project? Posted: 15 May 2018 09:22 PM PDT Im a rising sophmore (girl) in college taking summer classes and although i already have some friends, I am really hoping to make more! I'm in a group project in one of my classes and two guys in it seem really cool and i want to be friends with them! However, they are already friends and have so far kept it "strictly business" aka only communicating with me for project reasons. It also doesnt help that i am a shy person. Does anyone have any advice as to how i can get to know them better? Thanks |
Question: How do I save my only hope? Posted: 15 May 2018 09:15 PM PDT Hey, I'm Nick and I am a dumbass. I am disappointing my parents, I am stuck with being a faliure, I am always put down by even my family because I am nothing, I am failing many classes but I am talented in music (guitar and composing) and lyric writing (not singing unfortunately can't afford lessons :( ) and I have 2 other friends that are down to make a band with me, one of them is failing everything like me but a great drummer and the other friend can just play guitar, he just plays what he's given. I want to start the band ALREADY time is ticking. I am scared. The Beatles are our motivation to everything, they are amazing and we hope we can make a living like them. I am kept by extremely strict parents and have to be hope at 8 or 9 sharp and I can't move anywhere when I'm an adult because I am broke and I don't want a service job. Like the only problem we have is that we are all financially unstable and we have no place where we can practice and leave our drums.... We need ideas to finding free space to practice and leave our drums. we really need suggestions... please. Here is a list of what we tried already and DIDN'T and WON'T work so you don't mention it in the comments: 1.) We already asked a church for space 2.) We already asked our schools for space 3.) We already asked stores for space 4.) We already asked our parents if we can use our room for space 5.) We already advertised our need for space |

Question: Friends husband touched me? Posted: 15 May 2018 06:50 PM PDT My friends husband and I took a photo together and I bent down as a joke and he touched my vagina. I'm not sure if it was on purpose or by accident or if he even realized he did it or what. I was shocked! He's never hit on me or come on to me or anything of the sort. Should I tell my friend or let it go and not make a big deal about it? If he touched me a 2nd time id say something. |
