Posted: 29 May 2018 09:38 PM PDT my friend said that social media plays a big part of why so many people are getting divorced. she said with the rise of social media people have too many options and can easily drop their husband or wife and find somebody else with the click of a button. she said people are quick to divorce over any and everything and are constantly looking for the next big thing with the rise of social media platforms. she said no relationship will be completely happy, there will be problems with every person you get with as the honeymoon phase only lasts for so long. she said you just have to outweigh the pro's and con's. she said as long as her partner isn't abusive or cheating there's no reason to live. thoughts and opinions on this? my friend has been married for about 12 years and she said " relationships and marriages are hard work period. people are just obsessed with the novelty of things and the feeling of dating someone new." |
Question: Did I experience an epiphany? Or what is that called? Posted: 29 May 2018 01:40 PM PDT I had my face in her neck and we were both heavy breathing after we (actually she) did it for the first time. When we were like that I could her hear her breathing, the smell of her skin and her hair, everything about her. I looked up to her and looked her in the eyes ans I saw love. Really. She was looking into my eyes too, and I saw some kind of childhish innocence in her. I felt like it wasnt just me but it was us. We were one, she belonged to me and I to her. And I felt suddenly extremely strong and yet so vulnerable. I wondered if I felt an epiphany because I had never felt like this before. Like really alive. |
Posted: 29 May 2018 01:33 PM PDT Can we still walk down the isle, have a reception, gifts, and the whole "you may kiss the bride" kind of stuff? We don't want to get married until we're a lot older. We'd like our older family memebers to be at our wedding though so that's why we're deciding to have one sooner. |
Question: What do you do with an ex engagement ring? Posted: 28 May 2018 06:00 PM PDT My ex of two years just broke up. We were engaged for about over a year. We didn't want a date until we had a stable income together and then we finally did and decided our date would be late this year. But we broke up this past Friday. It was a very toxic relationship. We got into a huge fight and I don't think id ever look at him the same after that. Anyway, obviously i was the one who proposed so I have the ring. What do I do with it? Do I keep it for memories? I don't feel comfortable throwing it away or selling it and i cant return it because I had it way over the time. Sorry i didn't mention that we are a gay couple |
