Question: I think my dad is cheating on my mom? Posted: 13 May 2018 06:08 PM PDT Ok so, for a couple months my dad had been really secretive, like he is always looking around to see if I notice him texting and is really secretive about it. I know for sure he's texting girls and stuff, who don't have husbands because he is good friends with them. He doesn't go out or anything and he also works at home, so I'm not sure. He also is always on phone called and facetiming other women while my mom is asleep or she isn't home. I don't want to get into his business and snoop, because I know I would get in trouble. It also would be to awkward to mention it to my mom. Can someone tell me what to do! |
Question: Do you think this is an unreasonable situation within a marriage? Posted: 13 May 2018 05:29 PM PDT My brother is married to a woman who has a stepson from her previous marriage. That stepson is now a teenager, about 17/18. My brother has a son with her who is 9 now. They have some serious issues going on. He has cut off contact with his family (not even phone calls in like 2 years) and won't so much as give anyone a phone call. When he got so quiet that he stopped answering the phone at all, my mother asked me to go with her to his house. We got there and his wife was flopping around doing nothing. He was on the way to work. When we casually asked why my brother wasn't answering the phone in 3 months (at that time), his wife said that she didn't know. She texted my brother then that she "felt interrogated" by us showing up. Her ex shows up for everything. My brother has paid her ex to do work in their house before. He comes over for my nephew's birthday (unrelated to him) and other events all of the time. My brother's wife changes into skimpy clothes and sits in the ex's face for hours cutting up at the kitchen table like they're married. My brother says nothing. He told our mother via text that him and his wife "agreed to not fight about ex's". The ex is a coach at the ball park. They force the kids to play sports. My brother goes to work and she takes the kids to go hang out with the ex. We're shocked at how blind my brother is to all of this. His wife didn't get custody of the kid when she divorced because she's 40 and had one job in her life for like 6 months. We are at our wit's end with this. Yes, he has a right to not see family. He was a jerk as a teenager, ran off and did his own things. He called his mother only when he got into trouble or needed financial help. She helped him even when she was struggling. He never did squat for her. He lied all of the time as a teenager and claimed she didn't trust him. A lady showed up at our mother's house with a baby at one point, claiming it was his. They were in a legal battle. Never heard another word or got a photo of the girl or anything. That girl, if his daughter, is now a teenager. My brother has just become unbelievable. He got an Air Traffic Controller job. Went to train in another state for 4 months. His mother and brother helped him and his wife financially while training. Now he says that our mother never did anything for him. His wife seems to lord it over him that her uncle "told him about the job" and such. I just cannot understand what is wrong with him. He used to stand up for his household. It looks like his wife now has control of all finances and everything. She can tell him who he can and can't invite to his house. All times when we were invited to watch my nephew, it was simply for their convenience for a trip or errand. His wife's friends and family members have previously told her to get a job and help him. She reacted to some of them by cutting them off in a similar way. |
Question: Please help me..what should ido? Posted: 13 May 2018 05:11 PM PDT this guy is showing his popularity and earning to impress me.hes saying..that hes better than my husband .my husband is earning good too.. |
Question: Question about cousin and arranged marriage? Posted: 13 May 2018 05:11 PM PDT I told my female cousin that my parents and siblings are getting me married somewhere to a really old guy and she said don't and she said "should I talk to my brothers" ? I'm a girl btw why did she say "should I talk to my brothers?" and tell me to not get married to that guy? cousin marriages are common our family. her brothers are not that old from me. in the Quran it says even if the girl is non virgin should listen to her about what guy she wants to marry. seems like my parents aren't following Quran, as I am far from non virgin even. thanks |
Question: Do women tend to notice whether or not a man is wearing a wedding ring? Posted: 13 May 2018 05:08 PM PDT single men will notice immediately whether an attractive woman is wearing a wedding or engagement ring. but it doesn't seem women ever look for that. the married guys i work with all seem to wear their rings. or at least they do at work. |
Question: I made my mom choose between me and her husband. What do I do next? Posted: 13 May 2018 04:28 PM PDT Reason for being is my moms husband has been very abusive (physically, emotionally, verbally) since I was 6, im 14 now. I can't take it anymore I'm always depressed and my anxiety is always through the roof. But anyways she chose her husband and it breaks me inside out but I just am going to have to accept it. I am online schooled and I have 2 weeks left. I'm going to be staying with my aunt till my grandma gets her own place. But my aunt doesn't have WiFi so I was wondering if I can place my phone hotspot to my computer or can I just quit school since I have 2 weeks left (I already did end of year testing) |
Posted: 13 May 2018 04:09 PM PDT So my parents have been unhappy for a long time, I take my mothers side all the way, and me, and my sister have been spending the last few years tryibg to convince her to leave him, and shes recently been considering it. But the question is, if she just leaves can she take half their money, or does she need a lawyer? Shes not going to divorce him, just leave, and not talk to him again. Since theyre still going to be married isnt the money still hers anyways? |

Question: Sexless Marriage, How do I break this dry spell? Posted: 13 May 2018 02:23 PM PDT I am really needing help on this subject and it's hard to bring up with out crying. Please forgive my grammar, it's not the best right now. :( I am in a sexless marriage. I have been married to my wonderful husband for 3 years and I am in my mid 20s. I've always had a little to higher sex drive compared to most people and it's really frustrating for me. It's usually me who used to ask to be intimate, most times he would rebuff me. He always said he was either to tired or stressed to do anything. I understood even though it hurt me. I didn't want to cause him more stress. Recently he got a promotion at work and is even more stressed and our love life has completely dried up. It has completely torn me apart. Now if I bring up anything about being intimate he says no my heart shatters. I don't know what to do anymore and this heart break hurts so much. We have talked about and he doesn't think about sex anymore and he need to focus on work. I have given him space and time, we've talked about our problems and done romantic things together but nothing has helped. I need any help or advice please. I don't like feeling like this, please help me. |
Question: Should I stay or move? Posted: 13 May 2018 02:12 PM PDT I'm getting married in two months. Fiancé lives 3 hours away by car. I've been job searching for over a year now to move to his city (he can't move to mine because he would take a massive pay cut). I've had interviews, but nothing. I want to move to his city (which I worked in for nearly 10 years, so I know the area), but he doesn't want me to move back without a job. What should I do? I'm so depressed and fearful that we're going to marry and I'll have to move back to my city and we'll be separated for who knows how long. |

Posted: 13 May 2018 11:46 AM PDT I'm 34, single father of two, and have a two bedroom apartment. My mother is 61, and in the process of a divorce. Her husband got locked up for sexual assault against my neice. He worked and she kinda did real estate when she wanted to. But mostly was just A stay at home wife. So I took her in. She didn't want to live with my older brother cause he lives downtown in a studio. My younger brother and his gf live together with kids so that leaves me. Great. She has been her 3 months now. Trying to be there for her but I can't see myself living with her forever. She has no savings and no money. She helps out with the kids and cooks but I have no privacy, can't bring any friends or women over.... It's rough. I want her to want to be independent, make money, and get a place if her own. But that's currently not the case. I'm willing to help her out too she gets on her feet. Is it wrong of me to not want her here anymore? I love her but I don't want to be here provider. She isn't sick or disabled. She talks about getting a house with me and I'm not cool with that. I want to have my own space back and way of life. Am I a selfish person for wanting my own life and what not? Any real suggestions on what to do if you were in my shoes? |
Question: Should I have dinner with my ex wife? Posted: 13 May 2018 11:21 AM PDT I am divorced but my ex wife and I are still on friendly terms. She calls me from time to time, for advice on her investments. I got a call from her current husband that he did not want me talking to her ever again. I tried to explain to him that she called me. I did not call her EVER. To make sure I didn't talk to her again he said he would forbid her from calling me. Knowing my ex wife as I do, I knew he was going to be in big trouble for forbidding her from doing anything. It turns out he was in more trouble than I thought. She kicked him out of her house and off of her bank account and is filing for divorce. He called me and was mad I didn't warn him she would do that. I told him his relations with his wife were none of my business and I was not going to get involved and not to call me again about his soon to be ex wife and his problems. I then got a call from my ex wife asking me to join her for dinner to celebrate her getting rid of her controlling freak jerk of a husband. Should I go to dinner with her and try to make her feel better about her problems. Gals, I would really like your thoughts on this. Did I do something wrong by not warning her husband what might happen to him? |
Posted: 13 May 2018 10:05 AM PDT At my sisters wedding the preacher asked for anyone who had objections to speak but when I did everyone seemed mad and they made me leave the wedding. Now my mom won't even answer the phone. Why would they ask this if they didn't even mean it? I wrote that wrong. My sister is marrying a catholic not her husband who is one. |

Question: Why do I love my abusive husband? Why won’t I leave? Posted: 13 May 2018 06:05 AM PDT Like many relationships, this started out great. The best feeling in the world. 4 years together. 3 married. The first year, I was the apple of his eye. I could do no wrong and he was my everything. I am 38 and never had never been married before. Slowly, not overnight, things started to change. I didn't notice how much at first, but then he started hating my friends- ALL OF THEM, I was no longer allowed to talk to them, then it was my family. Then once I was completely alone with him and isolated myself, he began spitting on me, pushing me, calling me the worst names daily. Yet, we would have one great day and I just stay. Then the physical happened. One time and it was bad. He booked a trip for us to get away to make up for it. We went and it was terrible. He was drunk the whole time and all I wanted to do is get home, so I could be away from him, yet now I am home and I haven't left him and I woke up to him leaving to go to his moms and telling me to have a great mother's day with my c**t mother. |
Posted: 13 May 2018 05:46 AM PDT Long story short, my girlfriend and mother of my daughter approached me about the years ago and we've been together ever since. About two weeks into our relationship a woman that I was talking to told me she was pregnant. It caused a lot of drama but we got through it. Fast forward a year and a half. She asked me seriously multiple times to marry her I finally broke down and pop the question. She went out and bought a dress the next week and started looking at Hall's I told her to slow down we were not ready. She became obsessed with having a baby I folded and gave her one. Fast forward a year later everything's different she doesn't want to get married. She wants to buy a house and have me move in with her put my name can't be on it. Or I can buy a house and she'll move in with me. She says it's because she doesn't want any drama if things go wrong?!? I filled her pulling away and long story short slept with the mother of my first child she found out it really hurt her but we're working our way back throw. She has recently started working as a brand ambassador and her being out nights at clubs and events tears me up. I really do feel like she loves me, but this whole brand ambassador thing and not wanting to get married or have both of our names on a house really has me questioning everything should I be concerned? |
Question: He seems so happy with his wife and son, why is he cheating? Posted: 13 May 2018 04:11 AM PDT We met at work. We had a fling before he married. We ended things I was devastated. He said he loves me and then ended things. He married her. She fell pregnant. He would still flirt with me all the time. He kissed me months later and we didn't speak after. We had sex 2 months later while his wife was 50m away. A month later, he started texting n calling everyday. He would flirt like crazy, take me home but never touch me. 5 months later, after his son was born (3weeks Old) we went to smoke. He kissed me. The next day, we kissed again and he turned me around and got nasty. He took me home and in the car we got busy again. He doesnt call over weekends. Only when at work. I saw his wife n baby with him and they look quite Happy, she is crazy abt him. Why will he cheat on her with me, him n i have a past. Does he have feelings for me? |
