I've known my bestfriend since I was 3 and we have been very close and been through everything together and know everything about eachother. When she went to another school because she's a year older then me, she met a new best friend and her old friend she knew in her old school also because her other best friend. Now at first it was fine because she was still very close to me, but when she started to get to know them better she began to stay less in touch. Then we had an argument (which wasn't about this) that left us not as close but we have had arguments before but this one really changed our friendship. I think because she had them so she became close to them. Anyway we became friends again but we began to see eachother less after month after month. A few months later we had our 6 weeks off for summer all summer she didn't ask me to go out with her. By the way, I've tried to become friends with her 2 friends. Then a few months later we never hardly speak and I try to call her, text her, FaceTime her but she's always busy or on the phone to her best friends. Then a few days ago on snapchat you had to do this thing and she posted it and it was about bonds and she didn't even include me in it. It kinda hit me that she obviously isn't as close as I thought. I do always have a problem with moving on, is there anyway I don't have to and I can continue or friendship or is it over?

Something has seemed off about her but she started laughing at dumb stuff I said and talking to me loudly. When I responded she waited after class giggled with her friend and scared me. She says hi a lot and butts into my conversations on a regular basis. She gets really red and has a big smile on her face from basic conversations and can't look me in the eyes. My friend is 38 and married with kids. I am 27, single, no kids. He used to be my boss, but we've been friends since before he got a new job and left. After he left, he invited me to his church and I've been going now for almost a year. During that time, I have completely fallen for him. Keep in mind, when he was my boss, I couldn't stand him. Also, when I would be asking for a ride, he'd take forever to reply or when I was waiting around to hear from him after work about whether he was getting me or not, I tend to blow his messenger up because he takes so long to answer. Do you think he's catching on? I've always called him my "big brother type" or "bro" so I don't THINK he would, but not sure. I saw him at church yesterday with his wife and we said hello to each other, but they both left without even saying goodbye to me although I was right ehind them. Usually, he might make conversation after the service, but not this time. Why is he being so distant? I admit I've been a little unintentionally clingy lately, but I'm like that with several people..feelings or not. In addition, the first time he was unable to give me a ride after the last time we rode together, I told him (jokingly) that I didn't want to be a burden on him and he said "Hope you get home. I have an overnight field trip with a girls club from school in a few days, and I have to sleep in the same bed as my ex-friend. She said many hurtful things to me in the past, and acts like she didn't say anything hurtful to me. How do I survive even being in the same room as her!? today my friend seemed upset after gym class and stayed quiet in lunch and moved her seat from me, when i asked her what's wrong she said it's because i touched her necklace without asking. Also my other friends get mad at me for asking questions and treat me differently then everyone from my group. I'm in 8th grade and my parents are super strict so if they see any cursing on a group chat they freak. They check my phone regularly and I joined a group chat that I enjoy being a part of but they curse a lot and sometimes say inappropriate things. I can't just tell everyone to stop cursing because A. They'll not listen and B. it's like 100 people. I want to stay a part of the chat but I also don't want to make my parents mad. Help? They're all from my school district i know them btw

Prom is coming up and I'm going with some of my friends and some of there friends who I don't know. I'm getting really tired of all the crap some of my less close friends are pulling and I don't know if I want to get a limo with them anymore. I'd really like to only have myself and my 2 really close friends and maybe my date in the limo. Is there anyway tell them that I don't want to be stuck in a limo with them for 2+ without sounding horrible? Or should I just suck it up and be stuck in a limo with 2 close friends, a couple people I kind of know, and a couple people I don't know at all. I also don't know what to do because my mom and someone's Dad were planning on splitting the cost of the limo (which is one the reasons some of the people agreed to ride in it, since it'd be free for them. Before they didn't want to pay anything, not even $20... god I hate them). I just don't know if I can be around them that long but I don't want to make dinner and photos even more uncomfortable than they're already going to be. Please help! It's my last prom and I just want to have a good evening

I DO have friends, I'm friends with people from every kind of "clique", the nerds, the funny ones, the cheerleaders and it's not like I have that much trouble socialising. Yet I've realised, that even with these many friends, I have no close friends. I don't have those friends who you can go hang out with outside of school or vent to when you're mad or just share your experiences and make memories with. I'll be talking to one person, yet when their friend group comes around, the conversation ends there. I can just go talk to another person I'm friends with, but each of these people are not really what I'd consider friends, they are more "people I talk to". They each have their own circle of friends and prioritise eachother over their other friends, which is understandable. I feel lonely eventhough I'm not alone. I feel sad when seeing people posting pictures of their outings on social media or planning to go out on the weekends. I can't just squeeze my way into a group even if they like me, because I'm in my third year of highschool and these people have been friends for at least two years. Their bonds will be stronger and I'd still feel left out. This is making me demotivated and depressed going to school. Any advice?

So weve been talking for about 6 months. We got a really well whenever we hung out. We went out a lot together. We also had sex like 6 times and messed around a lot. She goes to my university. She moved from Peru 2 years ago so she's fairly new to the states. She went to study abroad and will be gone for a month. Before she left we really didn't leave off on a good note. I have a Meetup group that is specifically for people in their 20's and 30's. It even says so on the title name of the group. Additionally, one of the questions members are asked when they are requesting to join us, "Are you in your 20's or 30's?" So one woman has requested today and put "no" Should I still accept her into the group? I haven't had anyone beyond my desired age frame try to join before so don't know what to do

For some reason wherever I go, I end up being a loner. I am a bit nerdy, but not that much. I do go out, watch games, drink with friends etc, but it always is the same: my friends create small groups and then I feel like an outsider. Then I realize that they are going out without calling me, discussing things that they do not discuss with me, then I distance myself from them because I don't want to be a weirdo, and then I try to make new friends, and then I repeat the same pattern. Somehow, since high school I have never had any real friends. Am I just trying to befriend the wrong people, or do you think there is something wrong with me? I consider myself to be relatively normal, a bit shy but I do not really express that outside.

I became friends with a former neighbor of mine many years ago. We have stayed in touch and for awhile she was a good friend. But over the last several months she has become completely toxic. She is an alcoholic with a severe addiction. When she drinks she will send me mean texts. She sends me 20-30 texts some days and expects me to answer and text her non stop. She wants me to be her close friend but then she lashes out at me out of nowhere sometimes. I have tried to remove her from my life peacefully but she just ends up texting me non stop and picking more fights. My worry is that if I completely ignore her from now on that she will try and get revenge on me by contacting my employer, other things that I'm involved in, etc to say bad things about me. She is very vengeful and I worry that she'll try and destroy my reputation and life. I don't know what to do. What would you do? I am past the stage of seeking compliments, I've settled on the fact that I'm unattractive. My genes are not good, I went fully gray at 25, my hair is course dry and frizzy because I dye it brunette every 3 weeks to cover the greys. I have small dark eyes almost black, a large crooked and extremely bulbous nose, small thin lips and a smile with a very narrow arch. I have genetic defect that caused me to be missing 4 of my top teeth so I have my two large front teeth and then the molars start on either side, so I have barely any top teeth and when I smile theres large gaps between my teeth and cheeks due to the narrowness. I have large saggy breast (34 DD) with protruding veins, pale skin, manly hands, big feet and incredibly muscular legs. Everytime I get a cut, scrape or acne my skin does not heal properly due to a medical condition so I have unsightly purple scars all over my body, I also have a flat butt and an apple shaped body, complicated by the large sagging breasts. Clothes look horrible on me. I also have poc mark dents all over my face from having the chicken pox at a young age and I sweat a lot and my face flushes and turns red with embarassment being seeing in public. The combo of the small eyes, large bulbous nose, thin lips and narrow smile make me look like circus freak. In all seriousness I don't know how I'm going to cope for the next 50 years of life being this ugly. I am always attracted to guys who are out of my league leaving me rejected and alone.
