Question: My girlfriend seeking attention? 10 POINTS!? Posted: 16 May 2018 07:25 PM PDT I have been dating my girlfriend for 7 years. We are over distance, so we barely get to see one another (once a month). She was 15 when I dated her, and I was 21, she was super flirty in the beginning and this caused issues, but eventually as she got older she changed. She has been an amazing, lovable, hard-working, beautiful girlfriend. But, recently, I have logged onto her FB and seen conversations about her hanging out with this guy. I have logged her insta and see she has ''flirted'' too. Although, this is also a part of her personality. She tends to say ''Hi cutie!!' etc to almost all her friends. She has also hung out with the guy and has told her friends, but has claimed that she does not see the guy more than a friend and that she could never trade me for him because I'm not worth losing. She has told her friends that she would never even like the guy other than in a friendship manner. However, she is hurt by my lack of attention and affection. I don't call her beautiful or hold conversations with her. I told her she wasn't funny or entertaining, and that hurt her and she can't seem to get over it. I am distant and I promised her I would change several times throughout the course of the relationship, but I didn't. She told her friends she enjoys the guys company and the fact he finds her funny. But, is it my fault due to my lack of attention? She was also upset that she posts several pictures up and I call her beautiful when she does. Is it that big of a deal? And I don't call her beautiful* I don't know what to do. I don't know if I should blame myself or her for seeking attention from this guy. Or, if I am at blame for not giving her the attention she deserved. She is indeed madly in love with me and I know she wouldn't cheat on me. But, she is talking to this guy, it can't be okay either right? Or is it okay because I'm not providing what she needs? I really don't know what to do. I put a tracking app on her iPhone, so that'll cause crap too. |

Posted: 16 May 2018 07:08 PM PDT Sorry if the question is confusing. One of my bffs (call her S) has a bf and they went on a break for like 3 days. Literally the day after they went on the break my other bff (call her W) was asking me if I thought that S was going to try and go after our guy friend (O). I think that W has a little crush on O bc S and her bf weren't even broken up, S hasn't even showed interest in O and even called him her brother, yet W thinks S is all of the sudden going to try O. I want to ask S if she thinks W has a crush on O but I don't want to cause drama especially bc W has a bf but I really think she has a crush on O. Should I tell S that W was asking me the day after her and her bf went on a small break if S was going to try and "get" O? Pls help I really need advice. |
Posted: 16 May 2018 07:02 PM PDT I was massively drunk one night when my guy friend came over. He was suppose to come over but I forgot so I started drinking and was drunk when he showed up.The most I remember is sitting and watching tv together. The rest is a mystery besides waking up with no clothes on and him gone. I don't remember anything about talking about sex or taking my clothes off before I passed out. I have no idea what to do and I hate myself even more for putting myself in this position. |
Question: My boyfriend touches my upper thigh? Posted: 16 May 2018 07:01 PM PDT I'm in Junior High and my boyfriend always touches my upper thigh in all the classes me have together my friends say he's trying to make it to 2-3 base idk if he is or not what does it mean when he touches my upper thigh I mean we've only been dating 2 weeks |
Question: Does it sound like my friend is being very competitive? Posted: 16 May 2018 06:55 PM PDT Sorry if this is a bit of a rant but I have no one to talk to about it: So my friend is very pretty. It's to be expected guys will like her and check her out. But it seems like she's constantly rubbing it into me and my other friends faces! It seems like almost every single time we have a conversation she says something like "omg this boy wants to date me" "all these boys were checking me out", etc. It's not that I don't want to hear about it but she will CONSTANTLY talk about it. Also if boys approach ALL of us she'll act like it's only because of her, never about us. I'm tired of it. It makes me feel so bad about myself. And she already has a bf!! Whenever she complains of guys hitting on her I ask her why she doesn't tell them she uninterested and she has a bf, and she says "well I don't want to be rude". I can tell she's acting differently bc whenever it's just me and my other best friend we aren't always talking about boys liking us and stuff, we just have fun. To me it seems like she's being super competitive and is trying to prove she's prettier, has a better body, etc and it just pisses me off. Why does it have to be a competition. She acts like every boy checks her out and likes her when it's far from true, not every boy likes her. It's to the point where I literally won't tell them one thing because I know she'll try to down play it and act like it's notthing compared to what happened to her even though it might mean something to me. |

Question: Why do guys try to pick me up at the bus stop? Posted: 16 May 2018 06:48 PM PDT I'm 25 and from what I've been told very attractive. I have a 27 year old boyfriend with a 6 year old son and I have to take the bus to go be with them because I don't drive yet. Why do older and younger working men get tempted to pick me up and why are they so persistent? Do they think I'm a hooker? |

Question: I accidentally called my boyfriend my ex's name? Posted: 16 May 2018 06:39 PM PDT So here's some context. We've been dating for almost five months and go to a small school. A few days ago apparently somebody said he was my "bounce back" after my first boyfriend who I broke up with two months before we started dating. I assured him this wasn't true and we continued to go by smoothly. Then with my luck i accidentally called him my old boyfriend's name. He got really upset and we haven't talked for a day. Is this really that big of a deal? It was a complete accident and I didn't mean anything by saying it. I have no desire to go back to my old boyfriend, we have nothing in common. Is this really that bad and what should I do? |
Question: What are your thoughts on escorting? Posted: 16 May 2018 06:35 PM PDT I'm 19 and I'm an escort. I have about 5 clients that I see between once and twice a week. I make about $3650 a week. I'm going to school as well. I'm addicted to sex and since I started escorting my body count hasn't really increased more than if I was just being myself. I'm practicing safe sex, I haven't in the past. I just don't know why I'd pick a stupid food service job or something like that where I could get at most $400 a week for a lot more work. I'm not concerned by the idea of "selling my body" because I feel like that's literally what a job is. I don't feel bad for escorting. I like escorting. I find that I'm making better choices escorting than I would be if I was just a promiscuous teen on my own. I'm very normal. If you looked at me you would never know I was an escort. |
Question: Will someone be my sugar daddy? Posted: 16 May 2018 06:28 PM PDT Does someone want to send me money to get surgery to be more beautiful so I can be a bit more happy ? I want a sugar daddy / potential relationship with lots of money, sex , trips to the gym and around the world. I really Just want to be taken care of and am not ashamed to admit it. I am too exhausted to go out and mingle and meet men after work and while I'm paying my own bills and struggling to make ends meet I don't want to have any kind of sexual interactions with them ever. If anything I am short tempered and bothered by them in day to day life. It's more of what I'm lacking than them but I'm wondering if there is some guy out there wanting to give it a try. if money truely means nothing to them/you I don't see what the big deal in this kind of relationship is. I just want 5,000 to put into a little surgery and to start myself in a new place in life and like myself more and some help with Bill's when I'm really trying. I don't want to grow old and die behind an office desk or retail counter I think I'm worth so much more but I can't do it on my own and I really want to like myself more first. If this is crazy to you then don't comment I'm so serious and the worst I can get is no. I don't Care what you look like or how old u are and I'm 24 female. Thanks guys let me know |
Posted: 16 May 2018 06:24 PM PDT This guy and I have been talking for a few weeks now, almost to the point of dating. He has always been a horrible texter, taking anywhere from 45 mins to 8 hours! However, he is usually asking me questions, saying gm, gn, asking how my day is etc, but he just takes so long to respond! At first I was okay with it, he gave this reason or that reason, and I let it go.. Now, it is just annoying me! Like I dont care if he doesnt respond within 5 mins, just no longer than 3 hours, and on occasion! I did know this would become habitual, and by no means am I a good texter too, that is why I was okay with it to begin.. Anyway he clearly really likes me and always wants to see me, but this texting is annoying and confusing me.. Like in this day and age everyone has their phone with them 24/7 so for him to not respond for 8 hours is just ridiculous! What do you think of this? Is he really just a bad texter or not taking me seriously?? **did not know this would become habitual** |
Question: Should I be concerned, or did he do the right thing ? Posted: 16 May 2018 06:07 PM PDT I heard my bf on a phone call with the mother of his child . He told her she was beautiful and intelligent. He told her he only wanted to co parent and that she could only come over for visitations. He told her he needed a break and to stop texting him so much. He hung up the phone when I walked in the room. |

Question: Does she get butterflies around me? Posted: 16 May 2018 05:59 PM PDT This girl I met months ago has started talking to me more in class and she laughs a lot at my jokes. I walked up to her and said hi and she can't look me in the eyes she just smiles and says hi. When I'm the first one to say hi she blushes. I've talked to her and she started talking loudly and her whole face got red and she was moving around in place but couldn't look me in the eyes and has a big smile on her face. I've crossed paths with her in school she can't look me in the eyes or say hi I have to first. She teases me a little bit and her friend has me talk to her and run after her as a joke. She can't approach me alone. She giggles from me looking at her. ☆ Sent from iOS Dr. Know! 1.1.04 |
Posted: 16 May 2018 05:56 PM PDT It means that one I am done taking care of my priorities, then I can help you with your problems. I just got done wit a stressful day, ready to start dinner and in comes the text. Or, I wake up, look at my phone just to wake up to them telling me how much help they need to stop feeling bad. I have all to do to clear my bleary eyes in the morning and figure out how to make coffee for the first time that day. |
Question: Why is the guy usually taller than the girl? Posted: 16 May 2018 05:56 PM PDT I've been noticing this a lot. Im 25 and I'm still single. I don't understand why every girl I see the guy is usually taller or older than they are. This girl I used to know from high school, her bf was really tall. He was wearing a tank top the kind they work out with and it just stressed me out. and I do work out as well. I never talk to girls anyway because I don't know how. I can't even say anything to them because I think they want guys who can keep a conversation going for 10 minutes and my conversations only last for 5 seconds. so for 11 years now I've just ignored them and continued doing my job and things I like doing like reading, listening to music. Just ignoring girls my whole life and waiting for something random to happen, like a fluke or maybe a girl to talk to me. It happens in the movies all the time. Isn't it true that good things come to those who wait? I don't know any girls in my area. I don't talk to them or anything. I didn't talk to them in college because people told me to ignore them. And I really hate it when people say "be yourself". I'm introverted too. I don't talk unless someone talk to me first. How are people getting into relationships? Do I need to throw a brick at someone's head to their attention? |
Question: Help? She says she dosent love me but she still kisses me? Posted: 16 May 2018 05:46 PM PDT So she and I were together at one point. I stopped talking to her for a whole month because I she acted so indiferente with me one time we hanged out with her friends (I didn't talk things through with her, I just stopped talking to her). Today, she told me a couple of things. First she told me she no longer loves me because of what I did to her. (I stopped talking to her for a month, as I said above). She started seeing someone not too long ago and the go out every weekend. Secondly she said, "Don't believe what someone tells you but believe what they do. Someone could say they love you but not love you and they could also say they don't love you but actually love you." I told her all I felt about her and she would put her hands on my face, we would touch forehead to forehead and she would kiss me on my nose. She kissed me on the mouth and I tried to kiss her once again but she back off. She's driving me crazy because she says she doesn't love me anymore more but she still kisses me. Also about a week ago she said she liked me and kissed me a lot but this week it's almost the opposite. I told her to tell me if she didn't love me anymore once and for all but she wouldn't answer. Now I don't know what to think. |
Posted: 16 May 2018 05:37 PM PDT She is one of my best friends and is also my housemate. I love her like I would a sister, she is a very nice and thoughtful person, but beinf around her getsbtoo much sometimes. She is a very full-on person, she can be incredibly needy at times and she HAS to have people around ALL the time otherwise she gets super depressed. I, however, am the opposite. I am good with people one-on-one, but I go absolutely crazy and NEED to escape after a day surrounded by people. It's a bit of a spongebob and squidward situation sometimes, Another thing: She has been very needy (begging for cuddles, coming into our room whenever she feels like it, whining about being lonely, condescending me or crying when I tell her I dont want what she wants when it somes to the three of us etc) with my partner and I, and that has interfered with our ability to build up our relationship. Whilst this has improved recently, it has done enough damage to me (she's been like that in my previous relationships too) that I simply have no parience left for it. I am a raging ball of spite at this point and sometimes just her presense alone annoys me. Even the idea of her and my partner bei ng alone together unnerves me now, because I'm scared she'll get all needy and he'll eventually give into it. I am not worried about them hooking up or anything, I just feel really angry and disrespected when that happens. I am on a very short fuse and I know I'll feel better after some time away. What should I tell her? |
Posted: 16 May 2018 05:37 PM PDT I just always felt alil awkwardness between me and my boss , idk why ..but anyways Ive kept it at a professional level . I don't really understand why it's awkward for whatever reason ..but the only reason I've kept things at a professional level was because he would often say things , act certainly towards me and I wouldn't find it that appropriate ..not super bad , but not good either , just creepy . I don't talk to him like have long convos with him like the others or talk about life things , like he's my pal I just don't do that . I know also aside from this , it's best to keep things at a professional level . I haven't responded to his group chat a week ago I know bad , but I mean I do want to go but then kinda don't for that reason being he will be the same , I feel he treats me as if I just started working here , or that everyone's better for what they bring him . He just stared at me most of the time today . ☆ Sent from iOS Dr. Know! 1.1.04 |

Question: Boy from my past trying to re-enter my life Should I let him back in or block him ? Posted: 16 May 2018 05:12 PM PDT Six years ago I was in a "relationship" with this guy that I loved. However, after a while I started to feel like he was using me. He would have me sext him when he was with his friends, Text/ Sat disrespectful things about me, etc. When I would confront him he would make it seem like I was paranoid. I was going through a change in my life (starting college) and my habits were "too much" for him. He started to talk about me behind my back. My close friend told me that he said "if she can't handle her ****, she needs to stop calling me". So I cut him off. I handled my Sh* and am know graduating college, with a promosing future and career. So guess who slides into the Dm's... this boy. I am conflicted because I know he doesn't care about me. He only wants me for what I have. I don't know if I should block him on all social media. Or keep things cordural. It is honestly stressing me out, to the point I have a migraine.... what are your suggestions ? have any of you experienced anything similar ? PLEASE NO RUDE RESPONSES. |

Hey let's get on the phone] and it will most likely be more than 2 or 3 hours and like I don't mind but I LOVEE to sleep and like I don't like being on the phone long either and I don't know... I don't know what to say. Please Help! |
Question: What does it mean if he is doing this? Posted: 16 May 2018 05:03 PM PDT This guy I know (and have a crush on) has started leaning in closer when he talks to me... Last we were hanging out in a group setting and on two different occasions he came up extra close to me and got closer than usual to talk (he leaned in closer to my face). He's never done this before... and he also proceeded to stand close behind me/to my side for a while. It definitely made me feel like he was singling me out and showing his interest, but I'm conflicted... Because it might be worth noting two other things that I consider mixed signals... 1) When leaving, we usually exchange a "side hug" and I have observed that he leans down when he does this since he is much taller... But 2) He hasn't asked me out yet and never texts to ask how my day was... in fact, he hardly ever texts at all. So, I decided to stop being the one who texts first... I've asked him if he wanted to hang out on a few occasions, but he's always had something else going on. :/ He doesn't strike me as a player because he is a great guy with good morals... he seems 'gunshy' if you know what I mean... it's just that his recent actions are confusing me so much. What could it mean? |
Question: Why do most Asian women prefer Asian guys over white men? Posted: 16 May 2018 04:54 PM PDT I personally think white men look much better than Asian guys. Is there a reason why Asian girls have low standards? |
Question: Online long distance relationship?? never met in real life. opinions? Posted: 16 May 2018 04:41 PM PDT got into a relationship with the most amazing guy though i was reluctant in the beginning because this was unconventional. Wan't too long until we exchanged I love yous.. I took a little longer though. We talk for endless hours on the phone. He's jewish and I'm a catholic. Two very different people with very differnt religions that grew up in very different countries. I have very strong feelings for him. He loves to talk about the future, marriage in a few years and a family of our own..stuff like that but besides that we do share alot of common interests... he is the most wonderful human being i have ever met and i am convinced we are soulmates. Opinions? |
Question: Should i give my crush my number at graduation? Posted: 16 May 2018 04:33 PM PDT so i'm a high school senior and i'll be graduating a few weeks from now. i've liked this guy since sophomore year and it's obvious he's at least shown an interest in me throughout the past 3 years. he used to try to get my attention a lot and he constantly stares at me. we really haven't spoken much but i'd still be willing to get to know him. my school definitely has a bit of a social hierarchy and he's in a friend group most would consider a bit out of my league. since we're heading off to college and i've never really gotten the chance to speak to him, should i make one last effort? i was thinking about going up to him and saying he seems like a chill guy & offering my phone number. either that or i was considering following him on instagram. maybe dming him or something lol. should i just let it go or should i make a move ?? |
Question: How do you know when to say 'I love you'? Posted: 16 May 2018 04:30 PM PDT We're not kids and we've only been spending time together for three weeks, but we're seeing each other every other day, we're impossibly comfortable with each other, more open with each other than we've been with anyone else. It's been intense and it's obvious this is something significant. This has to be infatuation, it's too early to be love... but when should the 'I love you' come into it, how do you tell when it's love and not infatuation? |
Question: My girlfriend hates affection? Posted: 16 May 2018 04:26 PM PDT I've been dating my girlfriend for 7 months. We've never had any fights--most issues have been talked out respectfully. The other day, I texted her, "I love you," as I typically do, but she sorta lashed out--"I hate affection, I hate it when you tell me this," and she explained that she didn't tell me to spare my feelings and that the affection I shared made her uncomfortable because of how she was raised. I told her that I never aimed to make her uncomfortable, and that I would stop, and she thanked me for understanding. But the language she used was brutal. I wasn't showing any affection in public or physically, either. The extent of it was saying "I love you" often and sending good morning and good night texts. This is especially upsetting to me, as I have asked her in the past if I was annoying her or being needy by texting these phrases too often, and she said she was unbothered and enjoyed them. She's been kind to me, as usual, but now we don't say "I love you" anymore. And I understand that she doesn't like affection, but it's a necessity for me. I told her all of this yesterday, and that i wished she trusted me enough to tell me sooner, and that I'm, truthfully, now scared to be around her. She responded by saying that we'd talk it out via phone in an hour or so, but she forgot to call. :/ I don't know what to do. I care for her a lot but I feel like she hates me, or has found someone better. And I hate myself for making her uncomfortable. I don't know what to do. Thank you for the input. I'm sorry some of you have had similar experiences. I guess I should add, she's okay with physical affection, supposedly? She's the one who instigates cuddling and hand-holding and stuff. So she's not closed off, she just.. Absolutely Hates it when I say "I love you" and stuff for some reason. Can't make sense of that part. |
