About February I got in contact with my dad, me and my sister don't know him as he left when we were babies, before I contacted him my sister came home and told my mum she had served I him in the co-op. My mum said if we want contact with him it fine she's not bothered, I have been in contact with him since February been meeting up with him and been on a day out , naturally my mum wasn't happy which I understand why; every time I meet up with she either stops talking to me or it's limited conversation. I have a son who is 29 years old not married and has a live-in girlfriend. They have two twins together and just found out that she is pregnant again with twins. Okay so I'm a senior in high school and I need a good excuse to tell my parents so I can go to the beach for ditch day. It is tradition for all of the seniors to drive to a beach 2 hours away on ditch day. The only problem is is that my group of friends are going to go the day before ditch day too and then spend the night in a hotel. I really want to go but I need a good lie to tell to my parents so they'll let me go. My parents are really strict and I know they'll never let me go if I just ask but it's my senior year and I want to make the most of these last few days with my classmates. If I go on ditch day without my friends, I have to drive myself the 2 hours and idk if I feel safe doing that I'd rather have someone else drive me. Any suggestions?

me and my girlfriend are getting to the point of our relationship as to where we're thinking about marriage.I thought it would be a great idea to have my family meet her family at their home. my family has a STRONG Haitian background and her family are more of a old school american southern family.Not only that, but my gf's family is not too fond of my family because of some past issues my mother and older sister had with my girlfriend. my family is not too fond of her family because just recently they found out her aunt indirectly called me a pussy for getting emotional in front of her because i was asked a very sensitive question about my mother. my girlfriend's auntie and her aunt both at times questioned my manhood around my girlfriend and my girlfriend barely spoke up for me but i defended my self against them as respectfully as i can. my family felt my girlfriend's family were disrespectful towards me and i should be owed an apology or they will refuse to meet with her family. i'm well past the situation because i know i won't get an apology because her aunt thinks that she was being "real with me" without sugar-coating anything. i realized the feud is because of their cultural differences and also because of their similarities of being on the defensive when it comes to me and my girlfriend. my mom think her family is beginning to take advantage of me and her aunt feels the need to be defensive about my girlfriend because she thinks i'm not man enough for my girlfriend I am REALLY OVER all of the family drama between our families because i want our families to get along or at least be cordial when sseing each other. i'm not even sure if my girlfriend wants to be mutual with me because she's thinking of siding with her family because she thinks my family are being over dramatic hypocrites but i think my family has all reason to feel the way they feel because it's a cultural difference.
