Posted: 25 Feb 2018 06:28 PM PST So someone I know got engaged this past weekend and earlier they were telling their best friend on a Facebook post that they wanted her to be her maid of honor. She also told another person she will be "in her wedding party when the day comes". She told someone else that's close to her that she "hopes she comes to her wedding when she has it". I know other people who I talked to about this said that she was being rude. I understand she's excited but you can be classy about it. |
Question: How to have a super low-key wedding? Posted: 25 Feb 2018 06:16 PM PST How can I have a super low-key, non-traditional wedding? We d like to focus on the marriage, and I m not big into weddings, but would still like to celebrate. I d like it to have more of a "family gathering" feel, rather than a ceremony. I would like it to be outside, with the option of going inside, and have a white dress. We d like only 20-30 people there. We are from Southern California, and live in Austin, TX. We don t want to spend more than $5,000. I d like the focus to be on on family, drinks, and food. I guess I d like the "walk down he aisle" thing- but super low- key and casual. Any ideas?? |
Question: Do you have to be 21 to be a best man? Posted: 25 Feb 2018 03:27 PM PST My best friend Alex who is 25, is proposing to his girlfriend soon. I am 20, but he said that if she says yes that he's love it if I were his best man. How old do you have to be to do it. |
Question: Should I go to bridal shows? Posted: 25 Feb 2018 09:19 AM PST I recently got engaged. I want to attend bridal shows. However, we have not decided on a date yet. I want to go to bridal show to get inspiration. I do not know if this is appropriate though because I do not plan on booking any vendors (as we do not have a date set) and I do not want to take time away from brides who have a more set-in-stone plan. Should I go to enjoy myself and get inspiration or not yet? On bridal show I am thinking about attending is coming up in a couple weeks. I know my fiance and I will not have a date picked out for quite some time until we get our finances in order. |
