Question: Help with family friend problem? Posted: 21 Feb 2018 04:31 PM PST So I started this little game with my best friend's family, in that I would steal one portrait of theirs every other time I went to his house, which is still quite often, and bury it somewhere in their yard. However, they're not aware of this game and after several weeks of me visiting, I think they're beginning to notice that they're missing quite a good number of family photos, paintings, and I'm not proud of this... some very old photos and heirlooms they had on display. I'm afraid they are starting to see the correlation between me being there and them losing some special items. How do I deflect any suspicion off of me and possibly return the "missing goods" without being caught? |
Question: Bathroom Troubles, please help? Posted: 21 Feb 2018 04:21 PM PST So I have this friend that lives in Poland, but visits every summer. When he does, I spend a whole heck of lot time at his house and such as friend's who haven't seen one another do. But what he doesn't know is that every time I use the restroom, I urinate in the tank of the toilet instead of the actual bowl. This is mostly because I get really embarrassed at the sound of flushing a toilet. Almost as if it's taboo. This one time, his sister (who I have intense feelings for) walked in on me "doing the deed" so to speak, and out of shock, yelped and left. How do I tell her not to tell my friend and that I'm not that bad of a guy? |
Question: Women laugh at me when I offer to help them emotionally with their problems? Posted: 21 Feb 2018 04:05 PM PST I don't get it, women say that they want men to be sensitive and emotional and be nice, but when I'm nice and emotional and open up to try to to help them with their problems, like if their mom died, or they are depressed, I offer to help them, and they laugh at me and tell me to be a man. I honestly dont understand women at all. |
Question: Mean, gossiping friends?!?!? Posted: 21 Feb 2018 03:49 PM PST My friends are horrible. They spend all there time vaping, and only care what people think about them. They gossip constantly, and say that they've never spread a rumor in their life. They need constant attention, and always want you to tell them how great they are. They make up fake abuse stories for pity. The problem is, there are only 38 people in my entire middle and high school combined, so I don't have any options because everybody knows everyone else. What can I do? |
Question: I Don't Want to Leave my Best Friend? Posted: 21 Feb 2018 03:48 PM PST A quick background. My best friend has those parents who are kinda rich, so they can afford designer clothing and furniture. She often shows up to school in designer clothing. Her parents are also huge pushovers, they'll do literally anything she tells them to do. Her mom is going to pay for her Princeton tuition and modelling school fees when she moves to California on her 16th birthday. Back to the topic. The worst thing she's ever done to me has happened very recently. There was a mandatory Cheer meeting for parents and students to come in order to receive information and forms for Cheer. I'm super bummed out because my mom decided not to let me try out (for reasonable-reasons, I value privacy in my family.). Knowing that I can't do cheer, all of a sudden she starts loving everything Cheer as much as I do. She used to complain about how the Cheerleaders have no talent, and that they'll let anyone onto the squad, and that the skirts are so short and indecent. But the good part is, she's like a sister to me. She always has amazing advice to offer me, does my hair when it's ruined, and even takes care of me when I have to go to the nurse and get an ice pack. This crazy girl in my grade once spooned up some dog poo with a spoon and shoved it in my eye, forcing me to go see the nurse. I've also been hit very hard right above my eye with a soccer ball by this jerkwad. She was there for me all the time. I don't know if I want to leave her, or stay with her. Any advice? |
Question: Friends need constant attention? Posted: 21 Feb 2018 03:43 PM PST My friends constantly need praise and attention. They post online made up abuse stories so people will pity them. They constantly fish for compliments, and get upset when you aren't telling them how great they are. They always say things like "I have a secret but I can't tell you" just to get your attention. I understand it comes from a place of insecurity, but it's childish and frustrating. What can I do? |
Question: Was he joking or was he really trying to hang out? Posted: 21 Feb 2018 02:51 PM PST So I work with this older man who happens to be my boss (GM) and I am very attracted to him. I think he knows this and throws hints here and there to show that. He said a few things to me that may sound like he reciprocate my interest, for instance; A month ago, he joked that if I were to get injured he's going to drive me to the hospital and goes out for drinks right after. Then he said the same thing a few weeks later, but a little different in his choice of words. The topic was the same; being that, if I injure myself, he's going to take me to the hospital which I retaliate back repeating what he said before about going out for drinks after and laughing at me. He tells me he'd drop me off, spend some time with me a little bit and make sure I was okay, then he'll go out for a drink and laugh at me. The third time happened today. We were working side by side and he said he was going to poke me with the knife (as a joke) and I told him "Please do, because then I'd get to go home" He retorts back saying "I'm telling you, I'll follow you and we'll go out for drinks after" Is he hinting something? Or was he just being silly and wanted to have a conversation. He's 37 and I'm 24 by the way. |
Question: How do I tell my friend that I am taking another friend on a trip with me? Posted: 21 Feb 2018 02:15 PM PST So I am 16 and am going to Costa Rica this summer to volunteer at an Animal sanctuary. I decided that i wanted to go with somone else and i knew who to bring right away; my best friend. We will call her M. M is easy going, fun, adventurous, outdoorsy and we can spend a lot of time with each other. I just feel like we would travel well together. The problem is i am in a friend group of 3 and i did not invite the other person, we will call her A. i like A but i feel that we tend to argue very easily, and she can sometimes get on my nerves. She also doesnt really animals that much because they can scare her so i dont know if this would be the best situation. I just feel like it is not the right environment for us to be together in and i just dont want to take her. I went on a weekend trip with two of them once, and A kind of got on my nerves by the end. I have fun with her but don't want to do any traveling with her. That is just different. Anyway, she is gonna be super mad and upset when she finds out. what do i do?? |

Question: Why would a girl and her mom unlike a picture? Posted: 21 Feb 2018 01:28 PM PST I talked to this girl in school and a flirtationship kind've developed and it seems something developed. Well we went into a period of seperation, going to another education. Well I have a post announcing my dads death, it's public on Facebook. Herself and her mom like the picture and comment on it. Well I see her after almost a year without seeing one another and she stares into my eyes and gives me a funny look, I felt funny so I look away and she doesn't stop staring after. Well after that her and her mom unlike the post but keep their comments. Why would they do that a year after. |

Question: Why do girls send snapchat streaks multiple times a day? Posted: 21 Feb 2018 10:58 AM PST I wake up to a snapchat from these 2 girls and they both say "streaks". Then they'll send me 3 or 4 more throughout the day. One of them gets pi$$y when I leave her open but then she does the same thing to me. I accidentally sent her a snap that was meant for another girl and I said "Oh sh*t wrong person" and she said "Oh so you're snapping out girls? Man h0e" Now she's mad at me lol. The other one wants to make out with me this weekend. They're both pretty cute. Anyway, why do they do this? I thought you only had to send streaks once a day? |

Question: What's the biggest amount of money you have ever lent a friend? Posted: 21 Feb 2018 07:43 AM PST |
Question: How do i get her to stop? Posted: 21 Feb 2018 07:33 AM PST So I have this friend that I've known for a couple of months now. We are really close and she's one of my best friends but sometimes she can be really mean with me. Like by example; she'll get mad at me for the stupidest things ever. she'll get mad at me if my bus is late and say that I left her alone and she'll yell at me and get really mad at me ( it's not even my fault that my bus is late) but she acts like it is. Other stuff that she does: she talks really mean with me using insults and very bad words, she makes fun of my biggest insecurities ( she knows that I'm very insecure about them, but yet she still makes fun). There's a guy that I like and whenever I talk about him she always tells me that he's too good for me and that a guy like that would never want a girl like me. Today my bus was late and she came up to me and started scolding me and insulting me, calling me a bad friend for leaving her alone so I told her that it's not my fault and to stop being annoying, after a couple mins she yelled at me and said that I embarrassed her. Yesterday, she told me something and I didint understand what she said so I asked her to repeat it again and she called me stupid and deaf. Whenever I tell her to stop she rolls her eyes and says that I'm too sensitive, that I get mad too easily. She says that the things that she tells me aren't mean and that I should stop getting mad. I hate having to go to school because I know that I'll have to deal with her and the mean remarks. Carol |
Question: How could I like this? Posted: 21 Feb 2018 07:32 AM PST I got myself into a pretty bad situation, and I know this is all crazy, but I need help. I went a party last week and I got drunk and wandered off. I stopped in a small dark game room upstairs, and there was a group of four girls there playing darts. I stood there smoking, watching them, as three of them I found very attractive. As I watched, two girls kept spitting onto the ground as they talked. They kept laughing about it as their other friends called them gross. Seeing this, I was shocked and felt disgusted. I then noticed one girl whisper into her friend's ear, and could tell she saw me watching them as they all looked back at me. It then got very quiet, so I started looking at my phone. Then one of the girls told me to mind my own business and said I should apologize for being nosy. I just responded with "ok, thanks", and minded my business. I then looked at my phone, and one of the girls spit right into my face. It was so large and disgusting it hit clung to my hair, and rolled down my cheek before I wiped it off. As the spit hit me, one of the girls said "loser" and she locked the door. They then told me to kneel on the ground and take it, or they would accuse me of raping them. I was pretty intimidated and disgusted so got on my knees. They then all took turns spitting in my face, calling me a "slut" and a "loser", laughing as they did. I couldn't even open my eyes, there was so much spit on my face. Although disgusted, somehow this whole thing turned me on. How? |
Posted: 21 Feb 2018 07:22 AM PST My friend "Jack" and I were supposed to go to Philadelphia today on a day trip. The $20 bus tickets are NON-refundable. "Jack" got a fever and told me that he had to cancel the trip. I wasn't angry with him, but I did tell him that he owes me $20 for my bus ticket. He seems surprised, and I'm surprised that he's surprised. He has more money than I do, and since he is the one who canceled, I feel I should be reimbursed. Why should I just be expected to give up $20? Who's right? |
Question: How to get over a friend? Posted: 21 Feb 2018 07:18 AM PST Hi! So my friend hasn't answere my last 2 texts in the past 2 weeks. We just FaceTimed last month (less than a month ago) and it went great. We FaceTimed for 20 minutes. I texted them as well less than a month ago and we had a nice text convo. We were never close friends but we were friends. We have been friends for 2 years. We both graduated from the same hs in 2016. They were always there for me to text if I needed something even if I was clingy. Again we weren't best friends but 'tis friend meant a lot to me. I feel so empty without them. I know it's nothing personal with the messages but it's not healthy for me. Ever since I've known them they were an awful texter. I just take things personally when they shouldn't be. It's gonna be hard to move on but it's for my own good. Any suggestions to make the moving on process easier? |

Question: Feeling lonely, no friends.? Posted: 21 Feb 2018 06:36 AM PST I'm 15 years old boy. I am very friendly and nice person, but I've never had a true friend. I've always had 1 or 2 friends, but we weren't that close. I met my last friend in June. Since June I haven't met anybody. Now I don't have any friends. I only go out for school and musical school(where I'm alone, I have private lessons) and nothing more, If I didn't had school I'd become hikikomori. I have no one to go somewhere with. All day I'm sitting and studying/reading something because of boredom. Without friends or boyfriend(yes, I'm gay) I feel very lonely. I haven't had physical touch (just a touch) with anyone for so long time. I want to kiss, hug, highfive someone. I just don't know what to do. |
Question: Forgot her birthday, assumed the wrong thing and snatched her food. What should I do? Posted: 21 Feb 2018 04:23 AM PST My best friend's birthday was today...and man I'm an asshole. We haven't talked much lately since school started and I've been preoccupied but that's no excuse. I saw her today and (out of habit) grabbed her packet of Oreos and start eating. Then she says "So, where's my present?" I knew she was joking but I had no idea she was talking about her birthday. And my stupid head assumed she was talking about Valentine's day(we haven't really spoken in 2 weeks)and then I was wondering how she could have possibly known I liked her/if she was indirectly claiming me as the guy who should get her presents for Valentine's. Like a fvcking idiot, I kept asking what she meant and then she realized I forgot so she dropped it on me. And I'm a piece of sh*t, I didn't know what to say but "I'm sorry" and "I feel so bad". She was upset and guilt tripped me and I haven't seen her since. How can I ask her out if I can't remember her birthday? Should I even keep that in my plans? I'm such a d*ck. What should I do? |

Question: How to make friends later in life? Posted: 21 Feb 2018 02:21 AM PST After 3 long years of dealing with social anxiety and depression i lost contact with all my friends. With the insolation that comes with that, I haven t been out much and got experience or stories that can easily bring up an interesting conversation. So I m kinda stuck, I m feeling better and want to make new friends because I remember how great it feels. But I don t know how and what to talk about. Because when I actually talk to someone it s feels shallow and never leads to anything more then a first and last conversation. So if you have some advice I m all ears. |
Posted: 21 Feb 2018 12:47 AM PST I value my alone time greatly. I've recently moved into a new place and my neighbor, also happens to be my very good friend of 20 years. Problem being, she stops by every single night to whine about her day at work or her ex or whatever else might be going on in her life. FFS, if I wanted that, I'd have married a long time ago. At this stage I feel like her therapist more than her friend. I sneak out of my place early over weekends to avoid asking her along wherever I'm off to, I've even booked into a B&B in the next town just for some peace and quiet. How am I supposed to handle this without compromising the friendship? She's been going through some crappy stuff in the last year, I don't want to add to that, but I honest to God, can not take another 6 months of dealing with her problems, I have my own problems begging for attention. |
Question: My friend is going down the wrong path and I don’t know how to help her!!? Posted: 20 Feb 2018 10:39 PM PST A month ago one of my best friends met another group of people that I instantly knew was trouble, so I backed away. She thought they were going and admired the fact that they smoked and drank. We're freshman by the way, barely 15. Recently she's been really getting into weed and today she thought it'd be a good idea to lose her virginity to a guy she's know for maybe a week. I really want to help her, but she's so stubborn I know she won't listen. She's smart and funny and a really nice person to be around but recently she's been making terrible decisions. |
Question: I'm in my late 20s, why is it so hard to make friends? Posted: 20 Feb 2018 08:26 PM PST I live in New England and people are standoffish as ****, I go to public places and they're all into their phones and ipad and ****. I feel so alienated. My best friends are middle aged men I meet thru work and they're typically married and a bit leary of alienating their partners by spending too much time with a single, younger woman. I should get a husband or something but guys my age are so ******* blank and have their priorites elsewhere. I am suffering from lowkey depression and need to spend less time alone but I see no way to better fulfil my social needs. |
Question: What does it mean to put a guy in his place? Posted: 20 Feb 2018 07:55 PM PST |
Question: I've been feeling super down and alone lately and I don't know what to do? Posted: 20 Feb 2018 07:54 PM PST For starters, I feel so trapped. I love traveling and have barely been able to leave my house because of all of my homework. I travel abroad a lot in the summer but until then I don't know how to cope. I'm only a sophomore and I'm taking the hardest classes (3/6 classes are AP). I'm also working on multiple associate's degrees. It's just a lot of work and my mom wants be to self study for three more AP tests but just the thought is so overwhelming. My mom always makes me feel guilty when I try to express this though and says that this is why I won't be as successful as my brother. On top of that, I never hang out with friends and I only have one class with my best friend, while my best-best friends live like seven hours away. So in my classes I sort of tag along with like people who I'm friends with, but it's like third wheeling and sometimes I ask questions and I get ignored because that's how little people care. I'm constantly stressed out, tired, and miserable. My mom makes me insecure, my brother thinks I'm terrible, my dad is busy with work, and I'm the second option to my friends at school. I feel alone and miserable and I can't tell anyone because nobody would actually care and I would hate to open up and be disappointed like that. My parents are great and do a lot for me and they're actually amazing, it's just sometimes they say things and put too much pressure on me. I sometimes feel like they only care about how successful I am instead of how happy I am. I get like three to five hours of sleep each night and that also makes things very hard. Also my parents really reward me with stuff by getting me expensive technology and taking me all over the world. They do a lot for me and I don't believe they intend to hurt me even though they sometimes really do. |
Posted: 20 Feb 2018 06:39 PM PST My friends and I were out having drinks and one of them had too much and got really drunk, as we're walking from the bar to our cars my drunk friend sees this younger guy and (menacingly) yells at him "WHAT THE F--K ARE YOU LOOKING AT?!?" and says "YEAH YOU! YOU'RE F--KING STARING AT ME A--HOLE!" then hesitated like he was going to approach him. At first that guy seemed caught up in the moment but then he says something like "Yeah! come at me!" pulls his gun then points it at my friend before we grabbed our friend and ran for our lives. We have a full description of that guy who pulled a gun along with his car license plate number. Is my friend still responsible for starting this fight even though the guy responded by pulling a gun and threatening to shoot him/us? |
Question: Am I fixing that right? Does she still loves me? Posted: 20 Feb 2018 03:44 PM PST month ago I had a fight with gf, I'm too pushy and needy that at the end of the day she called me crying and told me I'm no longer trust you then she shut the call. I was stupid and called her back and asked if it's a network problem or she? her answer was it's network. I couldn't apologize she didn't want to hear me. On the next day she told me that if I can't wait for her it's ok to leave or look for another girlfriend and she can't make me wait because of her mom's illness. I told her I would wait if I you still loves me and I know I'm too pushy I'll fix that, she said it's not the reason ... I still loves you if not I won't tell you that. Few days later I told her that it's wrong to put a beautiful bird or butterfly in a cage she's beautiful because she's free and only few people are like those beautiful creatures like you ,and if she would give me a chance to gain her trust again and be friends before any other thing? She said your words are beautiful and ok. Since then I'm trying to gain her trust back. Even when I get back short answers even I don't get back I miss you too or love you too, and I wait for her to reply my msg for days. Till the Valentine day ... I sent her 3 beautiful msg.s but in the end of the day she replied: Happy Valentine's day...... that's it!! I thought I should leave for a while maybe she needs space or maybe she would miss me . And it have been a week now. What do you think? did I lost her or doing well in fixing that ? Or what I should do? |
