Question: I don’t want kids at our wedding but my fiancé does? Posted: 22 Feb 2018 02:58 PM PST I'm totally okay with kids in general, but I don't want them at our wedding. I think kids just change the mood of parties or events and I'd like a mature environment. I don't want to worry about kids running all over the place or having to pay more for their meals. My family is paying a majority like 75/25 and the wedding isn't for 2 years. He wants everyone and anyone to be there and he thinks if we don't let people bring their kids they won't come. We've planned with the venue for about 150 and honestly I don't want half of our seats to be kids. My side of the family's kids are all miss behaved and crazy while his side is more tame(due to parenting). But obviously I can't just allow his side of the family's children. How can I convince him that kids aren't really a good idea? Especially if my mom and I are paying for at least the venue and catoring by ourselves. |
